Glass Hair

Glass hair would probably be more popular for runway models rather than the average person. I think iridescent or glow-in-the-dark hair would be more of trend because it's more flashy. Fashion styles would arise from this trend such as celestialcore, mirrorpunk, and glowstreet.

Celestialcore fashion

People who wear celestialcore would likely have iridescent hair and would wear flowy silk clothing that shimmer in the light. Add ons to micro skin repairing bots in your bloodstream would make your skin automatically look incredibly dewy. Holograms that make small pixies circle around you or animate angel wings on your back. Hologram software is less expensive and more convenient (because the wings can phase through objects, physical wings cannot). Physical wings would require the person to get wing attachments to their back, but it'd allow you to fly. Stylized eye contacts that make the irises seem as if they're jelly or glowing would also be a common styling choice. Voice box adjustments (to use these adjustments, you'd download software to the tiny medical bots in your bloodstream) that make your voice sound slightly echoy would also be relevant to this style. Something that'd be a must have when it comes to celestialcore fashion would either be no legs, cybernetic legs, or levitating heels/shoes. Outfits would consist of white and pastel colors.

Mirrorpunk

Imagine aespa's savage photoshoot, black sleek clothing but with the sharp and almost melty looking silver jewelry. Aespa's drama photoshoot would also kinda fit, but it'd need more silver jewelry. Outfits would often consist of crimson, black, white, and silver. Some people that wear this style incorporate more silver elements, these people eventually coined the term 'Mirrormelt', which officially became a substyle of mirrorpunk. Many people who wear mirrorpunk swap out one or more of their limbs with a cybernetic limb that has the same aesthetic as the sharp silver jewelry (idk how to word it, i hope you know what I'm talking abt T-T)

GlowStreet

Essentially street fashion but with glow-in-the-dark elements. Loose or baggy clothing that is considered casual with glow-in-the-dark streaks of color usually in the hair and other parts of the outfit. I don't think images are necessary for this one.

Animated Tattoos

A flower blooming from a bud would probably be one of the most popular design choices. Flower petals falling down arms or legs would also be another popular choice. Animated tattoo sleeves would look like a full on moving painting, but they'd probably be pretty expensive. I think I mentioned this before on tiktok, so if you think you've seen this idea already, it may have been from me.

I think people who like to dress in darker styles would have animated eye tattoos on their bodies that would open and close.

Another cool idea would be color changing tattoos!

AR and Books

Okay so obviously physical books aren't going to be a thing in a high-tech cyberprep world-- but do you know what would be a thing? Augmented reality story games. AR is essentially VR except you can feel, smell, and taste everything as you would in real life. Shifting but with technology. Imagine games like Detroit Become Human and FNAF but in this format-- wouldn't it be a hit? I think it would.

I still think that e-books would be a thing, but I could definitely imagine that some of the most popular chapters would get AR adaptations.

To access an AR game or chapter, you must go to an AR Arena to rent a suit and the appropriate equipment.

oki i think this is good enough for one post. I think I'll talk about entertainment places like unique cafes and cyber parkour arenas in the next futuristic post

🏁 Coordinate 127: Favorite and SMCU’s Butterfly (plus the Snake?)

A theory post about NCT 127′s Favorite (+ a little discussion about the Neos’ dreamscape). This post serves as additional notes to my original Favorite theory posts, here are the links if you haven’t read or interested to read them:

(!) WARNING: This is a theory as it is not confirmed by SM  entertainment nor members of NCT, so please don’t believe this 100%!

Writing this down because it just came to me last night. If only I had this thought when I wrote the Favorites posts :”). The idea that Naevis died in Savage somehow makes sense to this random thought I have. But did she actually though…? Its strange that not many people know about this. Like there are a small number on twt (which convinced me) ++that entire part of Savage of the girls praising Naevis, but I still don’t know where I can find the actual theory to this. But here’s my thought.

The open space in Favorite, where Doyoung (and soon Haechan and Jungwoo joined) was in, was dark. Anyone noticed this? It has dark clouds. I don’t know if its intention was to just fit with the theme of the song… I mean to me, the song (esp with the whistle) sounds sad. Story of Favorite is tragic. Its an open space, nature-like, is it a wilderness? But I still believe that Kwangya isn’t a literal place. Kwangya is an open space, perhaps inspired by waves, which is why it resembles the mountains but not literally mountains. To NCT, its located in the unconscious. (please correct me if I misunderstood this).

It looks similar to the place in Highway to Heaven. It has rocky mountains, but I don’t see sand. Perhaps the dark atmosphere makes the sand not visible. But who knows. You know what, lets say all of them are referring the same place. Highway to Heaven, Kick Back, and this (also the scene where Mark, Johnny, and Yuta were dancing). The aurora is perhaps in this place too but it appears at ‘night time’.

I searched ‘rocky mountain desert’ and yep, they are possibly referring to the same thing.

desert as their dreamscape could mean because of  ‘limitlessness’ of sand or it resembles a planet’s landscape. more planet landscape pictures.

No one seems to be talking about the photoshoot too. I mean aside from the brooches in Classic ver. The Catharsis version, the setting. Its messy, looks like its destroyed. For the lightwaves, I mentioned in my previous post its illusions (perhaps sent by the snake); like aespa’s Savage. Again, dark. Some members’ clothes are torn. Could it also be because the snake is present?

The scene where Mark, Yuta, and Johnny were dancing; the aurora place. It has a column or a Greek classical order; its destroyed and fell to the ground. Again, everything in this MV looks destroyed, dark, tragic. Is it related to the death of Naevis?

I’m sure I have said this NUMEROUS times. A butterfly in an MV is not just for aesthetic purpose; its Naevis. Naevis isn’t just an aespa character, its all over in SM MVs. Its just that it has an ae version in aespa since the group’s concept involves avatars. So Naevis has an important role in the whole SMCU, there is a possibility that it connects and ties the groups if we look deeper into it. So its death ruined the entire environment? The reason why Favorite has this tragic and sad theme?

Reading from the link, even if we don’t use the dead Naevis theory, it may still be connected. The Butterfly Effect; small changes lead to large-scale and unpredictable variation in the future. Naevis (as what the people generally know) sacrifices itself for aespa > dark and tragic atmosphere?

I’m intentionally putting this towards the end of this post because suddenly another idea came. The petals came after the butterflies disappear. Then flowers bloomed on the rocks(?), the atmosphere become bright. Similar to aespa, they have petals in Savage but pretty sure they are different flowers; but it also came after the butterfly. So is this after effect a good thing or not?

The bright atmosphere could just be supportive aesthetic element for the vampire concept, like Haechan slowly ‘fading’ because he was supposed to be a vampire. But also supports the idea that Jaehyun wasn’t bitten by a vampire (the holes are smaller and narrower anyway) and he wasn’t affected by the sunlight.

So the dark and tragic atmosphere wasn’t permanent? It could just be the after story of the death of the butterfly. OR maybe the snake just went away after it bit Jaehyun. I’m also open to the idea that the dark and gloomy environment is a result of the snake’s little visit. NCT2021 should confirm what exactly happened to him.

This post MAY be short-lived depending what content SM will release in Dec; when NCT2021 starts. We’ll see…
