(if it's open already, for the alternatives-to-headcanons) QHJ loved LQR and had a good relationship with him. this could be how they always were, or maybe something drastic (like a near fatal incident) shook up his perspective towards LQR for the better. optional: QHJ's seclusion wasn't of his own volition - there was pressure from an outside source to do so, and LQR never found out the real reason why QHJ completely cut off contact with him.
It was really amazing how the very same traits you thought were boring and awful could become the best under the right circumstances, Qingheng-jun reflected. He was doing a lot of reflection recently, probably because the doctors refused to let him get out of his damn sickbed – they said they were still worried about possible aftereffects, but he was perfectly aware that they were just trying to show off that they had some skills, given how completely useless they’d been when he’d actually been…sick.
No, let him not beat around the bush: when he’d been weak.
They’d thought that he’d lost his golden core. The Core-Melting technique was a damn dangerous one, everyone knew that, and it had been lost for a reason – though reasons were rarely convincing enough to stop Wen Ruohan from playing around in his mad little games for power. Having found it, he’d given it out to various young cultivators throughout the cultivation world, promising that whichever of them successfully managed to cultivate the technique into something workable would be admitted into his family, given the Wen surname and all the power that went with it.
None had yet succeeded.
Some had gone mad, some had simply died…the most recent one had managed to do both, and then came back as a fierce corpse to complete the trifecta. Cultivators had feared to go near it, lest it drain away their golden cores to power itself, but then it had come into the land controlled by Gusu Lan and, as sect leader, it would have been a disgrace if Qingheng-jun had refused to go…
He’d been injured in that battle, badly so, and his ability to use his cultivation seemingly cut off. It would later turn out to simply be a sort of very nasty aesthesia, turning him back into a non-cultivating mortal on a purely temporary basis, but at the time everyone had thought that it was permanent, the way the technique was supposed to accomplish. They’d thought Qingheng-jun was out of the race, permanently downgraded, a disgrace, trash – he’d seen their true faces then.
Lan Qiren was no exception, except it turned out that his simple-minded brother was exactly the same on the inside as he appeared on the outside: besotted by their family rules, innocent of real human conduct to the point of naivete…grateful, sincere, loyal.
Even to Qingheng-jun, who had never once treated him well.
Well, that was going to change, Qingheng-jun decided. As soon as he was out of his sickbed, he’d be making some changes in the Lan sect, starting first and foremost with himself, and Lan Qiren was going to be one of the main beneficiaries of that.
He was going to change everything. He just needed a chance.

I never questioned the roommates in the Idaho 4 murder until that probable cause came out. There is a report where one of them passed out and the other one, the operator could barely understand what they was saying. But I don't understand how one of them saw a masked person dressed in all black and waited 6 hours to report this to the police. They heard crying and a voice. I do understand how people can go into shock but something should had clicked in to call 911 or text someone they trusted. And if they went into shock, their adrenaline, no matter how drunk or high they was would had not let them fall to sleep. That's not how are fight or flight system work. You'll be exhausted after the fact. But are adrenaline could actually burn off general aesthesia and numbing medicines which has happened to me before at the dentist. I had to reschedule my appointments twice.

A bone punctures through her lung. She chokes to death on her own blood. I can still see the wild look in her eyes, the way she flies around blindly to try and escape from the sensation of blood replacing her breath, choking her. The fear in her eyes, the pain in her heart (and lungs. She is suffocating and I can do nothing to stop it. I have never been more desperate to die. With her, instead of her, anything but this.) She is so scared when she is dying. She is so scared dying in my arms. I am so scared. I will never forget that day. I don’t think I would be able to even if I tried.
I think about her every day. I see her in the skies and in my favorite foods and in her favorite songs that she would sing along to. There is a pit in my soul that was surgically implanted in me that day. No aesthesia, just white-hot grief and grotesque hands prying me open until I am a mess of blood and tears, and I am throwing up all the hopes and dreams of the future I used to have. (They all included her with me. I never thought I would have to live without her.) I used to think I would have to live with this hollow pit within me forever; it is the way I have been taught to view death. I used to think that I would have to claw this feeling out of my chest, rip myself open again if only to find some reprieve. They never told me how forgetting was never the end goal. They never told me I could nurture that pit intertwined with my very being into something beautiful. They never told me that death was kind.
The world we live in is not kind. They stuff us full of fears and insecurities and starve us of kindness, only to leave us to fend for ourselves in a world of other hungry mini gods, seeking salvation within the suffering of others. And all of these intricate, delicate, terribly painful things are rooted in one concept: death.
From a young age, children are taught that death is cruel, that it is painful and cold and that it is the ultimate punishment; an inescapable inevitability to be avoided and feared at all turns. We are taught to cherish life for all that it is, to live it to the fullest and make something of ourselves, to leave something to be remembered. And then are we taught that our love for life only exists for fear of death.
We live our whole lives cowering in fear and misery. We focus so much on escaping death that we forget to embrace life. There is only one or the other, to us. Only life or death. We forget that the two are lovers; that life and death are intertwined, embracing, indistinguishable from one another. There is no one without the other, and to imply so is a disgrace to living in itself.
Whether our own or another’s, we fear mortality. We do not realize death is kind. We burrow ourselves into the suffocating embrace of fear and turn a blind eye to its true nature. It is something we have struggled to grasp for centuries, and it is something we must learn if we want to live for the sake of living instead of surviving.
Looking a metaphysical concept in the eye and assigning it a value such as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ is a foolish thing to do, especially when none of us have experienced it for ourselves. Instead of pondering the morality of death, we must accept it as an inevitable part of our lives—a right of passage that we will never fully understand—that we are okay with not understanding.
Taking away the fear surrounding the concept of mortality lets us truly experience life. Instead of finding a way to escape being forgotten, or race against the time we have, we are allowed to truly wonder what we want to do with the life we have been given, and the desires of our hearts. We can seek happiness in small joys and breathe in life without fearing the inevitable exhale. More importantly, viewing death as something not to be put on a scale of good and bad allows us to explore the concept of it without fear. Fear is a driving factor of hatred and ignorance for anything or anyone in this world, and by removing that fear and allowing ourselves to be curious, we reach a deeper understanding of both our own mortality and others’.
We often curse death for our loved ones’ sake. For daring to make them suffer, for daring to cause them pain, for daring to take them away. However, the concept of death is not the same as the concept of misery. Death is relief to those in pain. They separate the suffering from the soul. They take us away from whatever sickness, mental or physical, is ravaging our bodies. Death is not cruel. We must understand that. Death is kind.
But the hardest part in accepting death is the grief that comes with it. All the love dedicated to another person has nowhere left to go, and it cocoons itself, and it dulls, and it transforms until all you can taste is bitterness and loss.
It is so hard to grieve, but it can be so cathartic if you let it be. We view grief as an obstacle to overcome, something that you must escape. What people don’t realize is that grief is just love with no place to go. They don’t realize that grief is kind.
Instead of repressing and rejecting grief, nurture it, allow it to grow. It will bloom into love once more, I promise. You will survive, and you will come out stronger for it.
With grief being a tool instead of an obstruction, death will not be your tormentor, but your guardian. They will make sure your loved ones do not suffer unbearably regardless, but it is so much more soothing to live alongside them instead of against them.
Changing your mindset around death can do so much healing. You only need to let it.

Procedure of Body Sculpting and Body Contouring Treatment
Body Sculpting Treatments Saratoga includes surgical and non-surgical fat reduction methods, body contouring, reshaping, and tightening. It's a medical technique that helps you eliminate those trouble spots like the stomach and thighs you can't seem to shift with diet and exercise alone.
Both diet and exercise are crucial to any attempt to sculpt the body as a whole. Many people falsely believe that Body Sculpting Treatment Saratoga helps them lose weight. Body sculpting, as the name implies, is concerned with the shape and contouring of particular body regions rather than weight loss. Because of its intended use, it is also known as body shaping.
What is the procedure for body sculpting?
All of the therapies function similarly. They destroy adipose tissue, which the lymphatic system removes from the body over a few months. After treatment, these locations won't be as prone to future fat cell accumulation.
Various methods of body sculpting:
Cold remedies:
Ice pop consumption for extended periods was identified as a unifying component. Thankfully, CoolSculpting was developed to aid in the elimination of problematic fat cells by sucking them into a vacuum and killing them.
Heating Therapies:
These methods utilize lasers with a penetration depth sufficient to cause structural damage to fat cells, prompting their elimination by the body.
Therapeutic radiofrequency:
These procedures involve the application of energy in the form of heat, which kills fat cells over time. Patients should drink plenty of water before receiving these treatments since they target water in the cells.
Contouring: what is it?
Surgical fat reduction, skin excision, and other modifications can be accomplished by body contouring, also known as Body Sculpting Treatments Los Alto. Some people have trouble losing weight because of the excess skin after the fat is gone. Skin laxity can be efficiently addressed with body contouring procedures like tummy tucks and arm lifts.
Pros of body shaping
While spot strength training can help you gain muscle in a problem location, spot fat reduction is much more challenging. Fat is burned not based on tired little muscles but on overall fitness. This is frustrating if your goal is a flatter tummy without sacrificing your favorite body parts. The good news is that modern Body Contouring Treatment Los Altotechniques make it possible to realize your ideal body shape.
The reality is that Body Contouring Treatment Saratogamay make you feel a lot better about yourself, boosting your confidence and making you more at ease in your skin. The results of Body Contouring Treatment Saratoga may surprise you. These treatments make you feel better about your body and give you the confidence and drive to stick to a good diet and exercise routine to keep your newfound physique.
Conclusion:
The decision to have cosmetic surgery, whether surgical or non-surgical, is not to be made lightly because of the inherent risk. Which Body Sculpting Treatment Los Alto operation is best for you will depend on factors such as your skin quality (sagging or loose), your health, and whether or not you smoke. Surgery and an aesthesia carry a higher risk of problems for smokers.

#SadNews A 26-year-old mother of two has died during a #BrazilianButtLift and #breastimplant surgery after an unlicensed doctor gave her #anesthesia and she never woke up. Jaynisha 'Jayla' Williams went under the knife of October 20, 2021 for the two #cosmetic procedures being performed by Best U Now cosmetic surgery center in Plantation, #Florida. Throughout the procedure Williams mother, Latoshia Leggett, was reassured by the #medical staff that her daughter was fine, but grew concerned when she saw other patients being discharged, but not Williams. When she heard a siren she grew frantic and then learned that her daughter was being taken to #Plantation General Hospital. When she demanded to know what was going on, that was when she got the horrifying news, that her daughter had died. The grief-stricken mother who had flown in from #California to help her daughter post surgery was traumatized. Leggett told NBC6 Miami: 'They politely grabbed me and said, 'your daughter is dead.' The #Broward Medical Examiner's Office stated 'the procedure was completed but [Jayla] never awoke from the anesthesia,' the news outlet reported. The cause of Williams death is listed as 'undetermined,' according to the medical examiner's report. In a bombshell revelation it was later revealed that the designated physician for the #surgery center, claimed they allowed a #doctor who wasn't qualified to administer the aesthesia to sedate Williams. The unlicensed doctor was identified as Dr. Millicent Muir, an OB-GYN who is restricted from practicing that specialty for an unrelated complaint. She was the physician who administered the anesthesia. According to the report, Best U Now has a number of anesthesia providers on record, but Muir is not listed as one of them. #JaylaWilliams, who was a photographer and mother of a five and two year old, lived in #Hillsborough County. An introduction to Philips IntelliVue G5 Anesthetic Gas Module
General anesthesia is widely used in hospitals to prevent patients from feeling pain during surgery. Halogenated anesthetics like sevoflurane and desflurane are typically administered in combination with nitrous oxide for the purpose of producing surgical levels of anesthesia. Anesthesia gas module is meant to provide anesthesia gas measurements without complex setup operations, so that medical professionals can make swift clinical decisions. Anesthesia decisions majorly depend on the knowledge of both the agent and the patient. Certain aesthesia gas modules can integrate gas measurements into your monitoring system while facilitating easy and smooth handling.
Philips IntelliVue G5 Anesthetic Gas Module is designed to measure five of the most commonly used anesthetic gases, along with dioxide (CO2) and nitrous oxide (N2O). Waveforms for cases are displayed on patient monitors, which are sold separately and can be purchased through vendors like Jaken medical. Philips IntelliVue G5 is quite practical for lower- acuity settings. However, its advanced capabilities make the anesthetic gas module well-suited for used for higher-acuity environments as well. Philips G5 identifies agents automatically and features mixed-agent measurement capability. Oxygen (O2) measurement based on advanced paramagnetic technology is included with the G5. This anesthetic gas module is quite durable, easy to maintain and compact. Its gas sensors have no moving parts, which makes them highly dependable.
Branded anesthetic gas modules can be purchased through well-established vendors of biomedical equipment and supplies like Siella Medical. Buying branded biomedical equipment is vital to be assured of its longevity.

Had she been overworking her knee? Yes. Did she care? No. It had been a long few days and nights already and the Games were only just getting underway; there were still more tributes left in the Arena than there were in normal Arenas at the very start and it had her anxious. It didn’t help that her brother had a screaming baby at home, and as much as she was glad she was staying with him and Rhi to help, she wanted to rent a hotel room for a night just to get a bit of peace. Wasn’t the role of an aunt to shower with sweets and gifts? (And weapons, when the time came and Emme was old enough to be trained on them properly. Self-defense could never go amiss!)
She knew that she needed a knee brace, a better one than the one that she had currently, as it was from Nine and was really just made of bandages taped together and shoved around her knee. So a visit to Aesthesia was in order.
She knocked on the door to the nurse’s office, leaned up against the doorframe, guilt already on her face. She’d skipped her rest days, run too far, hadn’t worn the right shoes (they just weren’t as comfortable as her sneakers from Nine!) and this was definitely a stress injury that could have been avoided.

// ACCESS GRANTED:  AESTHESIA VICKERS. AMANDA SEYFRIED. THIRTY-TWO. TOWER NURSE.
Aesthesia was born with a sparkle in her eyes and a kindness in her heart that was incompatible with life in the Vickers family. Vickers were brilliant. Vickers were measured. Vickers were disciplined. Aesthesia was none of these in particular. She wasn’t stupid, by anyone’s measure, but compared to her parents or her older siblings she was rather ordinary, slightly dulled by their presence. They were a smart and calculated family in all they did, surviving since the first rebellion under the favor of the president continuing throughout the Snow presidencies and still remained in favor to this day through their shrewdness.
Aesthesia had little interest in the networking or social games, her eyes being drawn to simpler pleasures. She was a child who loved nature, who took joy in the flowers and animals around her. She’d much rather braid a flower crown than listen to her tutors and this earned her the ire of her family. In the Capitol, especially among the more known families, appearances meant everything and every move little Aesthesia made embarrassed her family.
Her sister, Akinesia, shone so brightly that the parents couldn’t help but parade her around the Capitol. She was beautiful, even without the makeup and garb. She rivalled her dad in smarts when it came to medicine, constantly changing and evolving the medical world. Her older brother, Ischemia, didn’t attract the attention their sister did as his temper was short and he had little use for people but he was brilliant. Again and again and again. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
But not Aesthesia. Not in a way that mattered, really. Her knowledge of different plants and their uses was something her mother encouraged. It was tangential to medicine, after all, and could be useful. This could be allowed. But her love of flowers and bringing home bouquets was where the line was drawn. Flowers became contraband in their household, seeing them ripped from her fragile fingers and destroyed time after time. Yet, she didn’t let this dim her spirits. It just made the times she got to spend with flowers that much more magical.
Joy, in the Vickers household, was only for those who fit within the borders placed by the family and the Capitol. As long as Aesthesia would pull away and put up a fight, there’d be consequences. Unsure how to temper the fire within her, they set out to extinguish it entirely. She would learn, one way or another.
Tutoring became more demanding, from sunup to sundown, hoping to leave her with little energy to rebel and, for a bit, it worked. She kept her nose down and began to notice she had quite the knack for healing. She wanted to be talented in anything but, dreading what it meant for her to finally be part of her family in a way. She would take anything else, even if it meant the disdain of those around her. But fate was cruel and ironic and despite her resistance it was clear to everyone around her that she had finally found her gift. Despite her clumsy hands and weak stomach she was finally successful and they would push.
Hours of practice, hours of desensitization. She would get it eventually.
II.
And she was able to finally find where her personal puzzle piece fit into the picture. She disliked the callous nature and cold detachment her family seemed to have when it came to medicine. For them it wasn’t about the patient or seeing a happy, or better, ending. It was about pushing boundaries and being the best. Aesthesia could take the medical aptitude of the family and give it her own twist. A kind smile, an excellent bedside manner that was dedicated to seeing patients recover and thrive. She could both blend in and stand out among the Vickers.
Her family having status in the Capitol meant that even though she wasn’t the best, she did have preferential treatment. Her father made sure that as soon as he could he was able to shove her into a position that seemed respectable and lived up to the family name but also put to use her other skills. She would be the honey that helped to catch the fly. Having a sweet smile and kind eyes waiting for victors of hunger games could go much farther than one might think. Shell shocked, broken victors could be manipulated in their times of weakness, could be preyed upon.
Knowing she could only fight against them so much she took the position somewhat happily. Maybe she was naive, stupid even, but what they saw as an opportunity to manipulate, to come out on top, she saw as a chance to show humanity and empathy. Those who made it out of the games deserved someone seeing them as humans and equals. Not because they won but because everyone deserved just as much. This was a train of thought she kept to herself. She could be somewhat spacey and gullible but she understood the ramifications of diverging from the propaganda and lines that had been fed to the Capitol for years upon years. If she thought her family was unkind and intolerant of her love of flowers, the Capitol would show her what true intolerance was.
So she kept her true intentions close to her chest, shielding the flame from those who would seek to extinguish more of what made her sparkle.
