Carmen Dell’Orefice
Carmen is an American supermodel and actress. She is known within the fashion industry for being the world's oldest working model as of the Spring/Summer 2012 season. She was on the cover of Vogue magazine at the age of 15 and has been modeling ever since, and has featured in films and television programs Her daily motto is to enjoy herself, at no-one else's expense.
At the age of 13, while riding a bus to ballet class, she was approached to model by the wife of photographer Herman Landschoff. Her test photos, taken at Jones Beach, were a "flop" according to Dell'Orefice.
In 1946, her godfather introduced her to Vogue and the 15-year-old signed a modeling contract for $7.50 an hour. She became a favorite model of photographer Erwin Blumenfeld who shot her first Vogue cover in 1946. She appears in the December 15, 1946 issue of US Vogue; New York Vol.
Dell'Orefice and her mother struggled financially, and her modeling income was not enough to sustain the family. With no telephone, Vogue had to send runners to their apartment to let Dell'Orefice know about modeling jobs.
She joined the Ford Modelling Agency in 1953.
In need of funds, Dell'Orefice returned to modeling in 1978. In 1984 she appeared on the cover of Quarante, a newsstand quarterly publication.
Since her return to the industry, Dell'Orefice has appeared in campaigns for Missoni, shot by Giampaolo Sgura; Sephora, shot by Mikael Jansson and so many more campaigns to this day.
She is a famous idol that people look up to as she is a guidance and inspiration for the most of us.

"Age is Just a Number: Managing Younger Team Members with Confidence and Skill"
It’s not necessarily awkward to be younger than some of the people you manage. Age does not always determine one’s ability to manage others effectively. What’s more important is your experience, knowledge, and leadership skills. As a manager, you should focus on building strong relationships with your team members, setting clear expectations, providing guidance and support, and fostering a…

Isn’t it funny that you never see anyone throwing a hissy fit over the inclusion of flora not native to Medieval Europe in Tolkien or other fantasy works.
Tomatoes, tobacco, POTATOES, tea and sugar, are all perfectly acceptable and normal for Tolkien to have included in Middle earth, but depict a single character with brown skin, and suddenly it’s not realistic, and WHAT ABOUT OUR HERITAGE.
Forget that we don’t analyze the heritage of white actors playing these rolls to make sure they’re from the proper culture to represent Tolkien’s extremely English story. Has a single person ever complained that Frodo and Sam were played by Americans when Hobbiton is CLEARLY based on rural England?
According to some, Hobbits can grow food and other crops that were only introduced into Europe through the violence of imperialism, but to have the hobbits look like the people who originally grew those crops is sacrilegious.
Medieval Europe, which wasn’t as homogenous as people think anyways, is only ever trotted out to justify hating the inclusion of black and brown characters.
If Sam can wax poetic about potatoes, he can look like came from Peru, like potatoes did.
And if that idea bothers you, maybe examine why.

going insane over how hawke's tragedy is about losing everything inevitably. they lose their father. they lose their home and their little sibling. they find new friends and get a good chance to make things better and then lose their second little sibling — even if they don't die they will never come back home. they finally get money and some kind of stability and then lose their mother who wanted the life they got the most. they become a champion beloved by the city and then lose their home and the family they found once again and all the titles and fame have no weight anymore. they lose the battle against corypheus because he comes back. they lose the battle against meredith because she comes back too. no matter how much they gain it will be taken away. no matter how hard they believe they got things right this time they will be proven wrong

Prompt 80
So Dan knows that there’s heroes that have gone back in time, he’s aware of that fact. But he doesn’t exactly care and has more important things to worry about. Like the fact that Danny and Ellie are now three years old, right when he’s moving, though maybe that’s a blessing in disguise seeing as the GIW are searching for them in Amity.
But still, he has more important things to worry about than the speedster vibrating five feet away from him. Like making sure Ellie and Danny are alright to visit (ugh) Peepaw Clocky while he goes to work.
Ms. Mercy is not messing around, which he appreciates in a workspace, but he has to wait for another opening in the daycare before he can bring his, as far as everyone else is aware, siblings who he got emergency custody of.
What with how Jazz is interning in Gotham, they figured Metropolis would be safer. Now if the speedster would stop following him, he would really appreciate it. He’s literally just an intern under Ms Mercy as an assistant, not even one of the scientists, and it’s not like his timeline of the end of the world exists anymore!

Beverly Johnson
Beverly an American model, actress, singer, and businesswoman. Johnson rose to fame when she became the first black model to appear on the cover of American Vogue. She is an elder model and is an idol for so many people by representing age diversity towards the fashion runway. She has been modelling for years starting off as a teenager.
Her success convinced her to leave school in 1971 and move to New York City to pursue a career in modeling. She was soon represented by Ford Models, cofounded by Eileen Ford, and then by Wilhelmina Models cofounded by Eileen Ford, and then by Wilhelmina Models.
In 1974 Johnson made history when she was featured on the cover of the August issue of Vogue. It marked the first time in the magazine’s 80-year history that a Black model appeared on the cover. A year later she was the first Black model to grace the cover of Elle.

The problem with the “child soldiers” argument against having child heroes is that having all the main characters in the superhero genre be adults would be boring, and also, fiction is the place where young people can fight dragons and I think that’s an important part of storytelling actually.
