Alex Power (Headcanon) Alex Power, along with his three siblings, Jack, Katie, and Julie make up the preteen superhero team known as The Power Pack. Alex has control over gravity. He can make himself and things and people around him either light as air or extremely heavy. As the oldest he's usually the one in charge. The Power Pack has never been confirmed to be of any particular faith, however there are a few points that point to Mormonism. Their parents are relatively young to have four children. Unusual for non Mormon but easily found in most wards. Mr. Powers is also a scientist (which plays into their origin story) and, statistically speaking, Mormons are lousy with scientists (or science is lousy with Mormons). Also, there's a part in the comics where Dr. Power is wearing a BYU sweater. The colors are wrong, but still, makes you think.

Alphonso Mackenzie aka Agent Mack (Headcanon) Mack is a reserved, down to earth agent of SHIELD. His primary interests are being a mechanic and taking care of his friends. Mack identifies as "a man of faith" but his specific religion is never confirmed. He has a big heart, and a tendency to look after the "lost sheep" at SHIELD. He had a wife and a child named Hope, but after Hope died he and his wife got a divorce. His faith is brought up when he meets Elena, a Catholic Inhuman, who he starts to fall in love with. In one episode, she teases him "you love rules, you were probably a choir boy too," to which he responds "they needed somebody to sing bass." Headcanon: I feel like Mack grew up Mormon, and got married in the temple. But after losing his daughter, the whole concept of eternal families and other church things fell apart for him. Meeting Elena inspires him to start rebuilding his relationship with God on his own terms.

I would kindly like to inform everyone that if you haven't seen Agents of Shield, you're losing a great deal of mission story telling. Agebts, missions, kick ass fighting, shield protocols and tactics, relationships between fellow agents, science, baddies, the Shield A Academy, it is the whole package.

If you're a writer, the amount of inspiration you can get from it is insane. You're writing a story about a mission but you don't know how to handle the mission part? AoS has you completely covered! You wanna see something mutants related? AoS has Inhumans. Ever wondered what happened after an alien spaceship got destroyed by Thor in Greenwich? Wondered what happened to the Shield organization after Natasha Romanoff dropped Hydra and all the dirty laundry on the Internet CATWS? You need coworkers becoming a true family like the Avengers never truly became?? It's your show!!!

It might not be perfect on the last couple seasons as it deviates from what's happening in the mcu, it's still great.

I'm confident that many people are in the mcu but have no idea about Agents of Shield existing and I really wanna change that. It was suuuch a great show!

If you go up against Daisy Johnson you're bound to lose. She's the Biggest Damn Hero in a universe full of Big Damn Heroes and even if you manage to find a way to get her on the defensive or subdue her, you've still lost. All that means is that instead of getting quaked, her family is coming for her and you better pray you end the day with a broken face and not a broken neck. Aida wiped May's mind to turn her evil and removed Daisy's powers away and it took literally like two days of Daisy just existing in Aida's twisted au for May to be like hm. I think I will save this work colleague of mine and give her superpowers even though that goes against all the manipulation and programming they've been trying to push on me.

And then once Daisy got her powers back it was over. Because yeah she's a big damn hero but you fucked with her family and also created an au where the nazis won. So say goodbye to your spine you fool, you absolute idiot. Enjoy hell and firey explosions or getting cut in half or blasted into space. Either way it's over for you.

"What if I just kill her family first?" Many many people have tried that and succeeded and still lost. She only has two real family members left who aren't by her side every day and by the laws of the universe May and Mack aren't allowed to die because the sheer amount of suffering and grief centered on one person would tip the universe's probability and create a black hole from all the trauma focused into one body and mind. That's if you can even get to them which lol. Good luck. So back to the drawing board for you, random evil henchman. Maybe try an easier target, like Thor or the Hulk.

some of my favorite agents of shield fun facts (season 2 edition)

part two!!! [part one is on my page!]

- to show the difference of coulson as the director of shield instead of an agent, they specially tailored each suit, used expensive slim ties, and even tailored his collar to make it higher. they also only made five suits for clark to wear the entire season.

- the cast and crew loved simon kassianides as bakshi so much that they kept his character in the story much longer than planned. he ended up dying five episodes after he was originally supposed to.

- in the episode “Face to Face” where coulson and may are undercover at the party, they made may’s undercover personality based on ming-na wen’s actual personality. a lot of the scenes of may at the party hanging out were unscripted.

- the writers modeled coulson in season two after nick fury, as the new director of shield. the writers made his previous role as a high ranking agent protective of the younger agents more akin to may’s character.

- bobbi wears blue, black, and grey constantly to represent her comic book mockingbird suit. she wears red two twice: while undercover at hydra & when she’s in japan (where she’s pretending to still work for hydra) to show the contrast in her undercover persona and real self.

- the crew and writers modeled the ward family somewhat after the Kennedy’s…what.

- the episode where ward confronts his past is called “The Things We Bury” which is a play on words for a book called “The Things They Carried”, which is a book written about the Vietnam War from the point of view of a soldier (i’ve read the book for a class, it’s a true story).

- the cast (other than adrienne and henry) had no idea mack and bobbi were working for another shield until the episode for the script was sent.

- the day chloe found out that skye would be an inhuman was on the day in season one that an earthquake hit the set. SHE FOUND OUT SHE WOULD PLAY AN INHUMAN WITH QUAKE POWERS THE DAY AN EARTHQUAKE HIT!!

- chloe knew her character existed as a superhero in the comics since she got the role, but she didn’t know which one. at first she thought she could be she-hulk or even mantis but after researching comics she realized she was playing quake a few days before the writers told her she was quake.

- a camera typically films at 24 frames per second. in the scene where skye breaks out of the cocoon in the underground city in puerto rico, the scene was filmed at 1,500 frames per second.

- after trip’s death a lot of the cast thought he would come back again because they said it’s marvel and people come back from dying all the time.

- in the scene filmed on the football field in “One Of Us” it was actually 45° F, which was the record coldest day (at the time of filming) in Los Angeles since 1885.

- lincoln’s character was literally created to give skye a break. they literally realized she’s been through so much in one season that they wrote in a possible boyfriend to make her happy for once.

- one of the writer’s favorite scenes to write was the dinner scene between cal, jaiying, and skye.

- coulson was almost an inhuman. yep. the idea was brought up in the writers room but they decided against it because they liked the idea of coulson being the average man within the craziness that is shield.

this wraps up season two fun facts! i’ll probably post season three when i can!! i don’t really have any plans for the rest of the seasons though :)

I'm doing an AoS rewatch, and I've missed them all so much!!! It just gets better with every watch. I always pick up something new. Plus: Mack and Elena learning each others' language after their first meeting. 😍 No chill Simmons being so thirsty for Fitz - I can. NOT. EVEN. 🤩 Ugly crying when Bobbi and Hunter leave all over again. I am up to season three, and I can't decide, so I will ask you all. What is your favourite season of AoS?
