Alright let's jsut try getting down basics maybe

The obvious Swaps Lunar and Eclipse: Basically how we meet them in episode. I legit went along with thinking this Eclipse wasn't memory wiped the whole time so thats kinda- in the air a bit. But Lunar being the original body (I have a post showing how Eclipse looked then), Eclipse with the one he made (to be taller. He can't stand being small... Well shorter than anyone really. A shame he has Bloodmoon towering over him.) The Glamrocks: They are as Swapped so Chica is Freddy, Freddy is Roxy, Roxy is Monty and Monty is Chica (I love them immediately after giving them luscious hair im sorry). Rox and Sun are friends and he's quite protective of Sun, also a cowboy cause swap au/Foxy etc. Digi in the discord came up with this and i died cause it was so good actually. Eclipse and Lunar still go thru the whole October Arc with Moon and Sun. Moon being far more quiet but aggressive. Made Sun to hinder Eclipse. Let me paste my lil paragraph i had in discord

"Sun likely has more denial about moons treatment of him, however like lunar he does start questioning if its good for moon to get the star (like sort of getting the Moon Wont Stop so i need to do something he might hurt himself etc) plus lunar and eclipses treatment of sun would be a huge factor too, eclipse obviously is terrible at communcating and while he's a bit of a jerk, realizing sun might be in danger or hurt is something he might catch on faster. maybe. im thinking anyway sun catches attachment to both that outweighs his denial of moon being terrible actually. he's still grasping at things even well after. doesnt realize he gets awful panic attacks until someone points it out actually. and then i lost my train of thought but moon still loved sun just…. very clearly was not the forefront of his goals tho. feels very betrayed by sun after and likely wont fogrive sun. vs sun whos too willing to forgive despite his anxiety screaming at him NOT TO. i just wanna show a different thing to this cause lunar recognized halfway into october and let moon handle the rest and recognizes that eclipse was hurting him much sooner than sun wouldve (see the… current sun. og sun recognizes now but it truly took him a WHILE, communication Real now.)" Anyway, Sun does end up getting adopted by both Eclipse and Lunar. He's never gonna be taller than Eclipse. But as mentioned he's got a lot of things to work through about Moon (Roxy will kick so much ass for him.) Generally trying to grasp that yeah no it was pretty fucked up of Moon to do anything to Sun. Now the timeline gets a lil weird beyond this because like KC would've also been in this plot. KC unlike our Bloodmoon, is actually far smarter (Im sorry to bm fans), he DOES work with Sun but generally more for his benefit of getting rid of Moon. He doesn't really need to be bribed for this actually. Imagine KC being so pissed about Moon showing up in his systems and hes LIKE WTF MAN. Zappity Zap Zap Double Dee Moon Anyway Cue Bloodmoon arriving. And like bloodmoon does- He does technically hold Eclipse hostage but gets bored. So there is mild agreement. Bloodmoon does what KC did and FORCED themself out (like our OG boy!). They're uh... theyre not very keen on sticking around a daycare as fun as itd be to tear it up. They like lightly bully Sun but Roxy to the rescueee. Anyway, 'Does KC die in this au?' No he doesnt. He gets CLOSE to it but Bloodmoon just goes 'Hmn. nah son you're coming with me'. Lunar still feels incredibly bad about it though. Space arriving sooner actually more or less helps like avoid some certain issues here and there. Unlike Earth where she arrives much later (due to be literally distracted.) Space goes directly to the daycare. Thus kinda- changing some bits. He does meet Bloodmoon, hates him though. 'Why aren't you thinking this through' 'We wanna see how much they scream' 'You'll be electrocuting yourself before you get the chance' '...That means Eclipse gets electrocuted?' 'Put down. the fork.' KC handles Bloodmoon with much exasperation. Bloodmoon picked up this sucker and went 'our Spawn'. Baffles KC. Space ends up meeting Crater, Moon got annoyed with Space's presence being literally really hard to work around. Sends Crater, Crater and Space get along well enough that it wasn't Moon intention but this works too. Space (theres irony here) gets concerned with Crater and her not viewing herself with autonomy. She is still just a 'basic AI' as she puts it. Does what she's told. Bloodmoon doesn't really use her just kinda shoo's her off to Space or Eclipse. 'No you're no fun-' 'I have told to monitor you' 'WE DIDNT ASK MOON FOR A BABYSITTER' 'I am programmed to defend' 'We dont need defending either' 'You are still vunerable' '...Go away' 'Affirmative. Destination please?' 'DAYCARE'

Anyway How do i sum this up. Roxy and Sun are besties Lunar and Sun vibe. Eclipse is soft with Sun.

Bloodmoon has claimed ONE child. Doesn't really claim Moon but thats a later thing. Moon and KC despise one another.

KC didn't really want this fatherly figure but he begrudgingly accept them. Funny things happen with these three. Bloodmoon doesn't become pacifist, just more or less moves away dragging KC with them. A little bitter at Lunar's murder attempt but its fine. No one died there but heavily maimed.

Eclipse and Moon still ultimately hate one another. There is a Swap version of Solar thats Moon and- we'll get confused so just know its out there. Space and Crater are good friends and partly why both end up questioning their existence but both support pillars to one another that it just kinda isn't as devastating. Unless someone dies. Crater does end up having her own personhood, Moon does get attached to her even if he doesnt admit it. Space doesn't question creator enough but Crater does and vice versa. Bloodmoon(s) does have a name but ill reveal that later??? idk

Zenyx:

Zenyx is a(n Offcolor) Zeti hailing from the Lost Hex, hidden from the eyes of all but a small handful for her own safety.

Described as exceedingly versatile and a fairly composed wild-card, she acts as The Deadly Six's secret Seventh member! The full extent of her outwardly behaviors is dependant on who she may be around or the situation at hand. She can be quite sweet and very caring to those she likes or is loyal to (which is a very limited list), but can otherwise be just as malicious as the rest of her Pack tend to be towards outsiders. However, unlike the other six, she won't always go out of her way to cause harm or misery UNLESS given proper reason to or provoked. She can be alittle hissy at times, but she's not inherently hot-headed like some; she just doesnt like her buttons being pushed or being lied to- or worse yet, her Pack being messed with.

Zenyx is extremely loyal to the Six and may be described as "caring alittle too much", as she enjoys keeping an eye on/spending time with each and every one if possible and making sure they're okay. She's very keen on stealth and being observant, a quick thinker that thinks ahead, and maybe a slight bit of a people pleaser towards certain individuals- but she isn't afraid to give her two cents either and often lacks a filter at times, offering a touch of sass and attitude. She can be very performative (to an extent) and likes trying to make things fun, being ultimately much more (surprisingly) pleasant than the rest of the Six.

In my Lost World Rewrite (currently still being worked on as of this Poll, yet to be properly revealed!), she is the main inclusion-difference and is by all means another rough obstacle for Sonic and Tails to get through. She managed to remain hidden while the rest of the Six were "conquered" by Eggman for a time, staying out of sight and scheming or helping behind the scenes- as well as working on a way to aid in their freedom before Sonic inevitably kicked the Cacophonic Conch from Eggman's grasp, speeding up that plan tenfold. Eggman was none the wiser to her existence until much later in the story, even going as far as aggressively denying the existence of a seventh in the stretch of area he had taken over when asked about it by Tails, because "If there was, I would have conquered them too!" or something.

She appears in much further stuff planned but thats all hush hush rn ;3!

so here are my General HCs on Raven!Luke (which i realize only after writing everything center a bit on his outwards expression/presentation and aura)

1 ) I AGREE WITH U ON THE LIFELESS LIGHTLESS EYES WHEN LUKE GOES RAVEN!!!

and just to add onto it, this is probably what people around luke also notice first and notice most when he gets like this. after all, luke's demeanor when hes Not in raven mode is just always full of so much energy and vibrance, whether hes exhibiting positive emotions (his happiness is like a sunrise!) or negative ones (his anger is like FIRE FIRE FIRE U CAN SEE IT BURNING IN HIS GAZE) but raven....the light is Gone. people around him know suddenly and horribly—with a mounting sense of dread dripping into their mind like a leaky faucet—that theyre dealing with Something Different

2 ) i think his voice goes cold, deep, and chillingly calm—and stays that way, no matter what

this is where i start to deviate from canon a tad.

i play alternating between both s-cn and jp dub, and between those two i ADORE how the VAs make their voice Different when they make the shift from luke to Raven. jp dub tends to take the deep voice route, while s-cn goes for that coldness that always delights me to hear. i love that, i love being able to hear the shift. though where i deviate from the canon voice acting is that there are moments where Raven gets aggressive or is aiming to intimidate, and that aggression/dominant posturing shows in the voice acting (usually either in a growl kinda element to the voice or in raising one's voice) and....i dont want that to happen as much in my ideal raven hcs jHVHFKJSD.

dont get me wrong i think it is so juicy when it does happen, but the raven i envision stays calm, almost aloof and uncaring, no matter what. you will not be able to get a rise from this guy and you will be able to Hear It. raven's voice stays cold and that temperature, so to speak, doesnt rise

(and i'll explain why in my 5th point, bear with me ok HAHA)

3 ) his movements/actions take on an eerie kind of perfection and confidence

where regular luke brings an endearing personality in everything he does, raven!luke brings a kind of flawlessness that you'd expect not from a person but from a well fashioned weapon.

i feel like the best way to explain this is through comparison so......

luke pearce would take apart a gadget in unrestrained glee. if there was someone to talk to, he'd babble to them about what he finds interesting about the gadget, a few unscrewed screws would roll off his desk and he wouldnt notice for a bit in his sheer focus on the gadget itself, he'd grab a notepad to messily scrawl notes and tuck the pencil behind his ear and then later forget where he put that pencil. luke pearce taking something apart is a scene of enthused discovery.

vs

raven would take apart a gadget with smooth, fluid, silent movements. there is no delight in his gaze, no surmiseable reaction from his expression. you wouldnt be able to tell what hes thinking at all as he goes through the motions, and his motions are clinically perfect. it doesnt feel right to watch a human being and see nothing betrayed in their actions. before you know it, raven's broken the entire device into its key components and taking whatever it is he needed from it. raven taking something apart is a scene of dissection and singleminded purpose.

does that make sense? like, discovery vs dissection, enthusiasm vs disinterest, enjoyment vs utility, and above all—human imperfection vs unnerving perfection.

luke is delightfully messy and bounding with personality in how he moves and acts, you can tell what he likes and enjoys and values in simply how he holds himself. in everything luke does or interacts with, he leaves a part of himself there on it, as he was affected by it and affected it in return. it's like leaving fingerprints of personality on everything he comes across.

raven is the opposite. hes not leaving fingerprints. because thats evidence to implicate and he wouldnt be caught dead making a rookie mistake like that.

4 ) luke is a battering ram but raven is a shadow looming over your shoulder

one of my favorite canon scenes of raven is actually the very first time we see him: in luke's route of Mysteries of the Lost Gold

im talking about the scene where luke first makes contact with joshua ott. so many fun raven things in that scene, but what i wanna highlight was how luke in raven mode intimidated him. first by calmly calmly dislocating one of joshua's fingers, and THEN!! MY FAVORITE FAVORITE BIT!!!!!: by threatening to paralyze him and leave him for someone who will surely kill him

this bit, to me, is Peak Raven

he couldve started beating joshua up, we knew by this point already that luke is a combat powerhouse and incredibly strong and was well within his capabilities to be administering much more pain. but he didnt. that, to me, is more the Luke way of going about things.

and thus to me, raven is all about evoking dread and horror in a calm and assured manner.

like, we didnt even know if luke was telling the truth about that syringe containing a muscle relaxant. he Could have been telling the truth, he already did have tranquilizers, but we didnt know. most of the intimidation came from the mere threat alone. something about raven makes you believe that he Will make your nightmares come true, even if he hasnt made them come true yet.

5 ) in general...the Raven in my mind strikes fear into people because people intuitively know theyre dealing with something thats got its heart shut down for a bit

i read an anecdote somewhere i cant remember, but it basically went along the lines of: when youre in the wilderness, if the environment's natural noise—crickets, bugs, distant sounds of mammals scurrying about, birds chirping—if all of that suddenly goes quiet; you are in danger. because it means a predator is nearby.

thats what i imagine Raven's entire aura and manner of presenting to be like

there is no obvious aggression, no anger, no heartbeats raised no adrenaline. these things, to me at least, are more markers of luke than of raven, and every time these things show in raven, thats actually raven breaking character and showing the luke under the cold mask. because luke is human and flawed, there are things that set him off into rage, things that trigger the fear in his heart into fight or flight, things he'll go down kicking and screaming trying to protect in utter desperation. these are emotive qualities, and no matter how volatile emotions can get, theyre also avenues for connection, communication, empathy, etc etc.

the Raven in my mind is devoid of that. and thats exactly what sets people off.

raven doesnt need aggression or excessive force, hes completely confident in his abilities and that the other person will fold. if they dont, he'll make them. he doesnt need anger because he has nothing to be angry about, nothing he values more than getting the job done and thus seemingly nothing to leverage against him. raven doesnt need adrenaline. he wont even have to run. the moment youve seen him—or rather, the moment he sees you—the world suddenly goes quiet in the worst way; you are in danger. a predator is here.

and he already knows hes got you.

Cucuhalo is so interesting, whats your take on their dynamic?

My personal take as someone who believes cucuruchos feelings are genuine is that their dynamic is "Aggressively affectionate" vs "Blissfully unaware"

To me cucuruchos feelings being genuine dont stop him from being a toxic little shit, but we love that about him!!! The vultures made bad colorblind so he doesnt mind red flags!!! All flags look the same to him now!!!/j

Cucuruchos got this very much push and pull manipulative attitude, they like to test the limits with bad which we see esp so recently. Giving bad a ton of love and outward affection and then RIPPING it away and then doing it again and again just to see if he'll still be upset, how much of an attachment bad has to him. Also with recently, cucurucho putting bad to work!! I like to think he just finds bad hot but also its a good test of what exactly bad's willing to do for him - like for instance cucurucho caught him in an obvious lie but instead of punishing him outwardly, he'd see if bad would rather just partially win while obeying than fully admitting and losing all his stuff (cucurucho let him keep 2/6 of those nukes!!!). However alongside this i believe cucurucho destroying that block of netherite was on purpose, to see if he could once again make bad bend to his word. And honestly he did!! He called cucurucho out but still conceeded to paying cucurucho back somehow (shout out to that nude calendar)

As far as bad goes, he's always been someone who forms unnecessary attachments to people, he literally is a magnet for any man around him in every universe we've seen so he takes affection readily and (as we've been told) is oblivious to anything too romantic or sexual innuendo-y (See: him being oblivious during that date with cucurucho, and also saying "oh no its alright but thank you!" when cucurucho was watching him shower and turned away apologizing, seemingly unaware of what cucurucho was so sorry for), so hes very go-with-the-flow with relationships and acts chill but falls hard and fast. While he may not have a romantic attachment to cucurucho (he does, but lets say he doesnt for this point) he definitely has some sort of emotional attachment and sees cucurucho as a companion he prefers to live with for this time.

Like for perspective, hes fresh off a reset and has been told skeppy (his soulmate) is either unable or unwilling to get to him and nobody knows why, and the only two other people he remembers (foolish, cellbit) havent been around. Cucurucho is a constant and ready emotional well for him to attach himself to, and to have it ripped away so suddenly would DEFINITELY be a blow to his emotional wellbeing. To prevent this i can see him bending to cucuruchos wants and orders just so that he isnt alone anymore, he's got a social battery that cucurucho just can never seem to fill up or exhaust so that relationship would be something he values subconciously if not explicitly

tl;dr cucuruchos feelings are genuine but his nature is to be manipulative, bad is vulnerable and has an emotional attachment to cucurucho (romantic or platonic) and puts up with the manipulation willingly to prevent being alone :D

mochi & lime after some magic commission exhausted in a far off town, go to get dinner and sit down and the server (oscar) is like "Hey guys! I can get you a discount since I work here!" when theyre like "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE???" he replies "Oh me? My uncle lives nearby and im visiting him for the weekend so i decided to help out at their diner. Pretty cool, huh?"

they go to some festival happening in town, walking around stalls and theres oscar managing one of those hacked, rip-off game booths like "Hey Mochi! We have this fluffy cat stuffed animal that looks like your style! Maybe you can solicit Lime into winning it for you! (overworld challenge noise)" (which turns into an aggressive "I'm gonna win that fucking cat." vs "I own this damn game and you're gonna empty your pockets before I let you win it.")

anyway, oscar is a psuedo-cryptid in his own right.

one of my biggest peeves with monster high fans is how jackson and holt are handled a lot of the time. like, one of my TOP headcanons is that they are transmasc, BUT there are people who make it so only JACKSON is and holt is fully cis?? because jackson is their ”uwu im a skinny little boye” man (which is another rant i could give) while holt is their bad boy popular dude who CLEARLY is an asshole and can’t POSSIBLY be trans (again, a rant i have) but like… how??? does that work???? when they switch is there smth like the sound of a balloon blowing up or a slide whistle?????

second, when artists tend to draw jackson as this skinny small twink bitch and holt as this massive chad of a man with muscles and height and shit, when 1. they’d have the same body type—it’s one body, and the shape of their body would be the same and 2. though the SHAPE stays the same, HOLT would be noticeably shorter. classic hyde is short as FUCK and looks so weird and doesnt even fit into jekyll’s clothes (and jackson/holt vs henry/edward is something else i could go ON about)

THIRD, i think i WILL say smth about what i mentioned in part one. how people make jackson the skinny scrawny cant possibly hold his own type of guy!!! this is less in art and more of in fanfiction, but still something i wanna say. a lot of people when WRITING jackson tend to uwuify or kinda infantilize him, making him very nervous around people or constant stuttering (i do hc he has a stutter but not to the extent people will write him) and very ”idk how to talk to anyone!!” when in the monster high show he is one of the SMOOTHEST motherfuckers ive seen (“i dont care who’s here, as long as i get to sit next to you” is one of his best lines tbh) and in the movies he actually stands UP for himself, meanwhile holt is a MASSIVE asshole who says slurs and does some borderline sketchy stuff (and then there are the times where theyre shipped together and/or weirdly sexualized but im not getting into THAT.) when in canon… holt’s one of the most funky ass little man ever. hes depressed as fuck in his diary. he has aggression problems but tries to work on them and just wants to give people a good time. and imo JACKSON’S more athletic than he is

Year In Review

Most of the world started 2022 by praying this year wouldn’t be as bad as the last two. I started 2022 by being a math gay and posting the results of a survey on the KOTLC tumblr fandom’s gender and sexuality demographics. In conclusion, keepblr is very queer, which we probably didn’t need an official survey to prove.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day by coming up with keeper themed pickup lines, including but not limited to “I hope your mind isn’t as impenetrable as the rest of you” (shoutout to Achilles for that one). Then the Stellarlune cover dropped, and the sapphics of keepblr were all really normal about all the pretty girls on the cover. In honor of Maruca on the cover, Swan dedicated the entirety of March to her.

Other people in the KOTLC fandom have discourse about Sokeefe vs Sophitz. We don’t do that here. We have discourse about the size of Fintan’s ass. The discourse started in May, but Fin continues to deny the (true) accusations that his ass is flat.

As previously mentioned, keepblr is very queer, and we somehow got even gayer when pride month rolled around. Alden and Quinlin had their no homo wedding, but the rest of us were proudly yes homo.

In August, the (in)famous stripper Neverseen uniform post reached 500 notes, and we celebrated by drawing fanart. Unfortunately, some members of the instagram fandom were upset about this, and we had a bit of a war between the platforms, but eventually that died down.

As the release of Stellarlune approached, Arjun decided to redesign the book covers. Marketing KOTLC as a ya tiktok sensation. Using canva. The result was… memorable.

In October, the KOTLC series turned ten years old, and Tobi hosted a month of prompts and events to celebrate.

After years of waiting, Stellarlune was published! This book gave the fandom many great things, like unhinged gardener Fíntan and Prentice pagetime, but it also brought some aggressive Fitz-bashers onto tumblr. They have since been added to Fin’s soup, but not before one of them could send Roisin the iconic “Just because you’re gay doesnt mean Sophie is!!!” ask.

Keepblr’s 2022 will soon end with a fandom-wide secret Santa, that I should probably be working on now instead of writing the year in review. Oops. Anyway, thank you to keepblr for making 2022 slightly more bearable and a lot of fun, and I hope we cause just as much shenanigans in 2023.

putting slashes in front of tags make them useless for people trying to block tags unless they have that specific variant block so "#suggestive //" doesnt block it for almost everyone who would not want to see it

theres so many variants of tags that its very hard to block all of them because people keep making more (like "#// suggestive" "#cw suggestive" "#cw suggestive//") and even a change in spaces (suggestive // vs suggestive// ) will make it a whole diffrent tag that needs blocked

when taggi g things please make sure to include a plain version of just the tag itself or a cw and then the content "cw suggestive" for simplicity and accessibility

those tags are useless to the people who want to block that content if they have to block over 20 variations per tag

i hope this doesnt come across as aggressive. im just trying to give a good explanation as why the // in tags is not good or helpful and defeats the purpose of it. sorry for any typos.

ah yes ofcourse, that makes sense! i used to always use the // in the tags on my personal blogs in the past and it worked fine back then because i would read all my new mutuals' about pages and dm them like "hey is it cool if i tag your trigger like [trigger //]". obviously i run a different style blog now but since i've been using tags with // for so long i honestly never thought about it. i'll go back and make sure to update my past posts with just the tag "suggestive" too! thanks for bringing it to my attention!!!

SUN!LUNAR AU PLAGUES ME ONCE A WHILE. BUT I DONT TALK ENOUGH ABOUT HIM. Love me some Solar vibing with his new bro and not having a crisis about the other two. Whomst are still having issues (I will remind u all that NICE ECLIPSE'S MOON was something he was also trying to save. YEAH??? well rip that that. We aint gonna think about that. what else can i ramble about POKEMON AU WHERE U HAVENT SEEN IN A WHILE BUT SOLAR FLARE... I FINALLY... Zenyx:

Zenyx is a(n Offcolor) Zeti hailing from the Lost Hex, hidden from the eyes of all but a small handful for her own safety.

Described as exceedingly versatile and a fairly composed wild-card, she acts as The Deadly Six's secret Seventh member! The full extent of her outwardly behaviors is dependant on who she may be around or the situation at hand. She can be quite sweet and very caring to those she likes or is loyal to (which is a very limited list), but can otherwise be just as malicious as the rest of her Pack tend to be towards outsiders. However, unlike the other six, she won't always go out of her way to cause harm or misery UNLESS given proper reason to or provoked. She can be alittle hissy at times, but she's not inherently hot-headed like some; she just doesnt like her buttons being pushed or being lied to- or worse yet, her Pack being messed with.

Zenyx is extremely loyal to the Six and may be described as "caring alittle too much", as she enjoys keeping an eye on/spending time with each and every one if possible and making sure they're okay. She's very keen on stealth and being observant, a quick thinker that thinks ahead, and maybe a slight bit of a people pleaser towards certain individuals- but she isn't afraid to give her two cents either and often lacks a filter at times, offering a touch of sass and attitude. She can be very performative (to an extent) and likes trying to make things fun, being ultimately much more (surprisingly) pleasant than the rest of the Six.

In my Lost World Rewrite (currently still being worked on as of this Poll, yet to be properly revealed!), she is the main inclusion-difference and is by all means another rough obstacle for Sonic and Tails to get through. She managed to remain hidden while the rest of the Six were "conquered" by Eggman for a time, staying out of sight and scheming or helping behind the scenes- as well as working on a way to aid in their freedom before Sonic inevitably kicked the Cacophonic Conch from Eggman's grasp, speeding up that plan tenfold. Eggman was none the wiser to her existence until much later in the story, even going as far as aggressively denying the existence of a seventh in the stretch of area he had taken over when asked about it by Tails, because "If there was, I would have conquered them too!" or something.

She appears in much further stuff planned but thats all hush hush rn ;3!

Lori-Ki is a vengeful member of the Dark Egg Legion, who misses the time before Dimitri had joined forces with Dr. Eggman. She hates Eggman with a passion; spurring first from his refusal to restore her full cybernetics from when EnerjaKnux had forcibly removed them from her, and the rest of the Legion. She had used to boast a half-titanium skull which looked quite frightful; she hated the ridiculous and mass-produced 'upgrades' that were made to her under the Dark Egg Legion. She now skulks around the base, trying to be as unhelpful and sabotaging as she can, plotting Eggman's downfall from the shadows. However, she is the equivalent of a chihuahua amongst dobermen, so all she can do is waste company time, and complain to other legionnaire folk.

for trust i think it's a given thet they would trust and know each other well after facing each other for years. for jealousy i don't particularly see either as the jealous type but pep is probably a bit more toxic so his is higher. for horniness i think pep is a freak and also he's the one who has talked about sex twice in pressers so i have to put him that high. also klopp is old. for clinginess pep is always the one hanging onto klopp so

for "how it happens" i've detailed this a bit before here. for relationship attitude it is quite clear that they are disgustingly attached to one another in public. no particular reasoning for placement on the dedicated/casual axis other than i want them to be there

i am deadset on klopp first to confess and pep first to kiss which is also outlined in the post linked above. and i think klopp would be first to apologize since he probably calms down faster. pep initiates contact more (like he does quite often). don't really care about spoiling but it seems more of a klopp thing to do. i think they both wake up pretty early but pep earlier. i feel like klopp would be useless at cooking and housework (he only learned to use a dishwasher during lockdown??) so yeah. and klopp does the talking for obvious reasons. popularity really depends on what metrics you're going by (klopp for personality, pep for manager) or what club you're a fan of lmao. designated driver is a bit tough since they'd both drink but one time klopp said he drank so much he threw up all over the floor which i can't see pep doing so there's that. caregiver and overprotective again just give off klopp vibes a bit. pep is obviously the planner and for the last one... yeah not sure i can picture it in my head both ways? it doesnt really matter to me

i like klopp big spoon and pep little spoon and i think it works with their height difference as well. like i said for early bird i think pep wakes up earlier. pep seems like a bit of a neat freak while klopp seems like the type to not care (tbh just look at their daily outfit choices). for the bug one i somehow feel that pep wouldn't like bugs that much. for lending/borrowing clothes i know i just talked about their outfit differences but i think pep would mischievously steal some of klopp's larger sized clothes (though maybe not the ones with lfc on). for romantic vs casual i took this as to mean traditionally romantic which pep seems quite into. he wants to go on dinner dates drinking wine ffs whereas i think klopp doesn't really care about that stuff but'll do it if it makes pep happy. klopp decisive because he doesn't overthink and pep indecisive because he overthinks. takes hints vs clueless is a bit contentious and possibly controversial but i think pep would be good at reading klopp (tbh it's not hard) whereas klopp has friendly/close relations with a lot of people so he might be more prone to overlooking certain actions. i put them both leaning towards playful although tbh they're both depending on the occasion. they can be giggly and flirty but also serious. klopp is very straightforward and wouldn't like to mince words while pep seems like he has more passive aggressive tendencies. i think they're both confident with klopp caring less about what others think of him. ray of sunshine would be more klopp and his "beautiful smile" because that phrase does not describe pep at all. i think pep would be more realistic because he'd lean more into facts and klopp would be more idealistic because he'd lean more into feelings. turning from doubters into believers ya know. they're both independent and would hate to be bothered by people they don't know. pep is tense because he overthinks and is constantly stressed whereas klopp doesn't super seem to care. and the head and heart difference i think should be obvious

1. Yoshio is a moose!! big, strong guy with an intimidating aura who CAN fuck you up but is very protective and loyal to people he loves. wolves are also one of the few predators of moose, emphasizing how kira is one of the few people yoshio will follow. also imagining eight as a little otter pup going up against this huge moose guy is so funny yet scary. pray for him i dont think he's gonna make it 🥲

2. Genjuro is a snapping turtle!! dont have a specific species for him, so im just keeping him as a generic snapping turtle. i originally had turtle as a placeholder animal for him (since genbu is a turtle) cause i feel like there are animals that fit him better, but the more i thought on it the more i got attached to turtle genjuro 😌. in the metal furry universe i imagine he uses his toothpick thing as a way to hold back from biting the other dna bladers lmao

3. Captain Arrow is a bat!! i imagine him specifically as a ryukyu flying fox but it doesnt matter that much to me. i chose bats because they're very similar to wyverns, plus batman is a superhero and it just felt so perfect (also bat!arrow x turtle!genjuro........ batman x tmnt). arrow is just totally a dude who'd hang upside down for fun lol.

4. Spike is a red kangaroo!! he's shown boxing in multiple scenes so in metal furry he can be a kangaroo kickboxer 💪💪💪i also hc him as Australian so it worked out. spike doesnt have much to his character but i like to think he's a very nurturing guy in his own way, where he constantly reminds people to take care of themselves, albeit kinda aggressively but hey.

5. Baihu is a cat that has tiger stripes painted onto him!! idk how baihu's backstory would work in the metal furry universe maybe he got adopted by a tiger person who lived in solitude away from civilization 🤷. regardless, i feel like him just being a cat and not a tiger fits his backstory way more, though he still believes he is one.

6. Karura is a Brahminy kite!! Garudas is based on Garuda, a Hindu bird deity, which in turn has been linked to kites/eagles. plus with Karura's whole controlling the elements shtick it just makes sense yk. Brahminy kites also have very distinct plumage with a brown-colored body and a white head, it reminded me of Karura's design a lot. maybe he dyes his feathers blue to match the sky 👀
