UHHH to understand the origin of Julie Van Garden (My sim) I first have to explain how jasdjasdd came out and why she is "Van Garden-Pancakes" It all starts with Philip Pancakes and Bebe Hart (Yes, I recreated her to be Bob Pancakes' mother jajsadj) who had the twins Mindy and Stella, Mindy is the typical grumpy teenager and Stella is crazy about the boys in her class.

Let's say Bob didn't get along very well with Mindy... But come on! What if he got along well with Stella! Julie Van Garden's mother!

The twins got along well with both their father and mother, as did Bob (Although Mindy was closer to her mother than Stella, who got along better with her father, they were both "daddy's girls")

Since I finished with the context of Bob Pancakes' family (Yes, I also think it's past, technically, I spent a year playing a game where I played with all the townies, but since infants (the update for the infants had not yet been released).

The Van Garden are a legacy that I started in LS2 reaching the second generation and in LS3 I left them in the 5th generation (I want to take it up again but at the same time... It's a lot xd especially that in 2010 I don't know how I managed to manage large families with many generations Weatherwax, that is another long story that I will tell in due course, I just have to prepare everything ajasjdj) But I want to introduce you to the Van Gardens from the 3rd generation.

They are Ricky, Danielle and Francois Van Garden, triplets who were the 3rd generation

We start with Ricky Van Garden (The oldest of the triplets) I don't remember who the hell had the twins with, they are Roger and Melissa Van Garden (They are 16 days away from becoming adults)

Ricky had a love affair with Stella Pancakes and from there Julie Van Garden was born (She is a teenager)

Roger married Rin Nakamura and they had Ximena Van Garden (Girl) Rin is older than Roger, as Rin is 14 days away from becoming an adult, and Roger is 16 days away.

Melissa.. Very pretty and all, but you don't know how much anger I have towards this woman xd She did not marry, she simply fell in love with Mako Nakamura and gave him 2 children, Hanako (Girl) and Yukio Nakamura (Toddler). Melissa, like Roger, is 16 days away from becoming an adult. Although Mako is younger than her, he is 20 days away from becoming a young adult. He is Rin's younger brother.

Danielle married John Beck, and had Rhea Beck (She is in her youth, is YA and dates Lou Howell) and Oliver Beck (A very talented teenager like her older sister by the way, but they are very different... And very polyamorous... Ah... xd)

Francois married Keila and they had Diane Montagnier (Diane Van Garden) Diane is now an adult and is 24 days away from reaching old age. Fun Fact about Diane: She is the only Van Garden who doesn't have freckles.

Diane marries Kasen, with whom she has 3 children, Paul Montagnier (Teenager), Alysha Montagnier (Girl) and Briggette Montagnier (Toddler)

And that's it, it's the origin of Julie Van Garden, niece of Bob Pancakes ajjsdaj

Julie currently has this style (Plus I found out that this crazy woman joined the renegades ajsdhahsd... My sims kind of have a life of their own, help)

Ooooh one fact, huh. One fact...ah! I tried multiple times to start a BPR in the Sims 3 when that was all the rage way back when (stars I feel old now). This is actually where Aurora Rose comes from! She was the end result of a weekend outlining session and, after multiple documents and many a cuppa, I had pulled together enough of a story that I was ready and raring to go! I had my base plot, I had my Heiress for G1, I was doing the thing and then--

Island Living came out and my poor dinky PC couldn't handle it; I had four blue screens in a week and canned the whole thing. I don't even have those tray files anymore! Bonus fact, I would not touch another Sims game until the Toddler Patch of TS4, and after that...well. :3 Here we are. Hutton's Generation Story

**no cc or mods were used in the making of this story**

Gen 01 – Lorena Hutton (pt. 3)

With her new found like for fitness, Lorena started her weekend off with an early morning jog through Glimmerbrook.

Since she and Tyrone lived in the same neighborhood, she decided to pay him a short visit. He was very pleased for the visit and even agreed to become BFFs with her.

Lorena had finally found true happiness and it just so happened to be with Tyrone. Though the feeling of missing her dad didn't fade, she felt like as long as Tyrone was around things would be just fine.

Before she left, Tyrone promised he'd call her tonight to ask if they could hangout. It would be really late in the night though.

Surely enough, right on cue, Lorena received a call telling him to meet up at Stargazer Lounge in San Myshuno. She grabbed her bike and hauled her tail to the venue.

Tyrone, hugged her, giving her a gentle squeeze, "I'm so glad you could make it tonight. I was nervous your parents would be upset about you sneaking out."

She laughed, "Heh, about that..."

She exhaled deeply and started to explained, well everything –about her cruel step-mom, the passing of her dad, memories about happier times, and even talked about her mom's death.

Lorena: "Ah jeez, look at me blabbing away about my sob story, I'm sure you have better things to do."

Ty: "I'm already doing them. I'm spending my time with the most beautiful girl in Sim Nation at the most amazing view in San Myshuno, what's better than this?"

She put her hand over her mouth, hiding a smile. She's never felt so comfortable around another sim like this before.

Tyrone's phone buzzed and he checked it. "Oh shoot my dad's bugging, wondering where I am... Oh, for crying out loud." He looked up at Lorena with solemn eyes, "Lorrie, I'm really, really sorry to have to say this, but I gotta go home. I promise I'll make this up to you, until next time?"

Lorena's breath caught in her throat when she heard Tyrone say a nickname her dad had given her when she was a toddler. "Tyrone, wait!"

Before Lorena could stop herself, she did the unthinkable.

Lorena broke the kiss, a little embarrassed and feeling a tad bit shy, "H-hey, I-"

Tyrone cut her off, "Don't sweat it, I'm just glad I shared my first kiss with you." And before Lorena could respond, Tyrone dashed off into the night.

That night, Lorena biked home faster than she ever thought her legs could move! She swore she had broken her childhood biking record.

Ah, banana cream pie from The Sims 4, my beloved!! I actually looked at this one screenshot and decided to try and bake it. Yeah, I winged it and it went almost as expected 💀 I mean, it was good, the base was perfect!! But the cream part was debatable. I'll try again later this week and experiment with it more, I didn't buy 3 kg of bananas for nothing XDDDDD

And here you have the screenshot that served as my avatar for a few weeks now. I love taking pictures in-game and saving them as screenshots, the love poses are so cute!! Serafin and Mantella go on dates lately, nothing big is happening. We're big chilling; or at least as much as you can be chill with two wild toddlers. Franciszek A. was once again invited to try Mantella's baking - and a glutton that he is, he came over in an instant. He also got another cake to bring home and share with his wife Wren and their daughters.

Franciszek A. suggested they should visit them more often, brings the sons and what not. It would be good for Hieronim and Baltazar to see the rest of their family, maybe play with the chickens, run around the giant house... Serafin is a bit hesitant to bring his own children anywhere near his awful sisters but maybe his dad is right - what's the worst that can happen? [I played this exact scenario yesterday and a wild ride happened XDDD]

Zodiac Challenge

Welcome to the Sims 4 Zodiac Challenge!

This idea came to me in a dream after a month of um-ing and ah-ing over whether or not I should start my very own Sims inspired Youtube Channel.

This is also inspired by the Not So Berry Challenge over on my queen, lilsimsie’s page, since I recently started playing that myself and found myself engaging with aspects of the game I never used to before.

SO, the Zodiac challenge... It’s a legacy challenge inspired by Zodiac traits*, aspirations and careers with a little extra spice to keep the story moving along.

*Please keep in mind that this is not a direct reflection of Zodiac traits, but merely an inspired challenge based on some common information surrounding each sign and a need to make a workable legacy challenge. I love all you little start signs out there equally and I believe we all have some positive influences on society as a whole.

Okay, okay, cut to the chase already. Here are the rules of the challenge:

No excessive money cheats (freerealestate is acceptable, as well as moderate transfer of household fees when a sim moves out)

You have full control over CAS for your sims/partners/children, however traits are to remain according to challenge

The color attached to each generation/sign needs to be visible on all sim outfits as well as in household, but you can decide to what degree

You can create looks inspired by the signs, but again, you can decide to what degree

Make it your own! Where a generation requires pack-specific traits, aspirations, careers etc which you do not own, please substitute and come up with your own unique spin on it!

If a skill, aspiration, or career is listed, the expectation is to MAX IT OUT!

Ah yes, the very...appetizing?...mix of substances of indeterminable origin, also named “baby food”. Its texture is literally called “Sludge” in the game files, which makes it sound like something the sims from Twinbrook give their babies. When I went to position the toddler model for the previews, she splashed the food around a bit, then threw the bowl on the ground. Clearly, she has more common sense than her parents.

So, dear Anon, here you have six variations of default replacements for this...dish. 3 are fruit, 3 are porridge. Use only one at a time. Texture size doubled, from 128x128 to 256x256.

The Goth Family Curse, pt. 2: My First Harvestfest

So I popped back in to catch up with the Goth fam after installing Seasons, and they were delighted to help me test things out. Halloween went fantastically, and everyone was doing well. Then they proceeded to have the worst Thanksgiving-analog I've ever witnessed, and this is coming from someone with some rather *~*~interesting~*~* family dynamics.

Here's cute happy pics of a musical Alexander, and Mortimer entertaining his first granddaughter, before we get into The Worst Thanksgiving Ever...

On the morning of HarvestFest, the Goth household was comprised of:

-Mortimer -A very pregnant Bella, thanks to a leaf pile romp -Cassandra (YA) -Cassandra's daughter Emma (toddler), who was a surprise gift from an encounter with one James T. Kirk -Alexander (child) -Edgar, Bella & Morty's new baby

So a bit of a full house, and the adults were all spread a little thin keeping up on everything. Bella managed to do a little decorating that morning, between keeping Edgar fed and trying desperately to get a little bit of sleep. Cassandra & Alexander enjoyed chasing the gnomes, everyone shared what they're thankful for, and Mortimer settled down to work on his latest novel for a bit while Bella & Cassandra started preparing a grand meal for the family to share. Then the power cut out...

That pesky Neighborhood Action Plan for power conservation that the (npc) neighbors insisted upon apparently doesn't take days off for major holidays. Ah well, the Goths are not opposed to a little old-fashioned fun. They're certainly well supplied on candles. The only real hitch is that they wouldn't even be able to start preparing The Grand Meal until after power returned at 9pm. Mortimer fills his time accosting random passers-by and asking them to sign his petition to repeal the offending NAP, because this is just all rather inconvenient.

Fast-forward to about 8pm, and folks are hanging in there. Everyone's tired, hungry, and very much looking forward to ending the day with a big meal. Cassandra heads to the kitchen to grab a snack for her hangry little Emma, only to find that the fridge is on the fritz. Bad timing! Repairman Josh strolled up at around 8:50pm, so the special meal is delayed yet again, but hopefully not by too much.

Repairs are complete by about 9:20pm, and Bella headed to the kitchen to FINALLY, at long last, prepare the grand family meal - the cornerstone of their Harvestfest celebration, and the only part of the whole day that granddaughter Emma actually gave a hoot about.

Except...

Perhaps Josh's mind was on The Big Game instead of what his hands were doing. Perhaps the house really is cursed. Either way, he took a nasty shock and didn't survive. Everyone ran into the kitchen, aghast at what had just happened - including the gnomes, and an unknown petition signer.

Grim does his thing, mourning is performed, the death-witness entourage finally clears out, and Bella finally, FINALLY starts on the grand meal. Mortimer got Edgar back down for a nap and came into the kitchen to help, when...

Yup. Kitchen caught on fire again. The Goths are on a first name basis with their insurance agent at this point. It's ok, just a minor setback, we'll just try again, right? After all, the meal still "counts" as long as they can eat before 2am, and it's ONLY midnight.

So appliances were swiftly replaced, Bella took a quick shower, and Grand Meal Prep attempt 3? 4? was underway. It was nearly complete too, when...

Fire. Again. I'd never actually seen a sim say "eff this, I'm out" before this, but she conveniently headed to the hospital to have that baby only minutes after this pic was taken... ("I'd rather give birth than try to cook in this house again," perhaps?)

The Goth family skipped the whole grand meal tradition this HarvestFest, with everyone subsisting off bowls of peas and very little sleep. The day dawned on a house of exhausted and traumatized Goths, which probably wasn't the most auspicious circumstance for Baby Goth #4 to enter the world, but was at least true to form.

Which Sims games you have played (including mobile games): TS2, TS3, TS4, Sims Medieval, Castaway Stories, I tried both mobile games but liked neither Propose a crazy scheme: EA adding new aspirations/character traits/interactions to the TS4 or improving the base game in any other ways? Best part of simblr: All the wonderful people I’ve met here! The ability to share the screenshots from our favorite game! I’ve been feeling really great and cozy around lately and I hope it’ll stay so!

Worst part of simblr: *sighs* Everybody says that and I’m going to repeat it: so called “Simblr Drama” or, generally speaking, cyber bullying because what is it if not that?

What other games you play: Cookie Run! Sometimes Choices and other mobile games
