Paul Gafni had been a fan of Joe Bellingham's downtempo music in Seattle for years and decided to collaborate with him. They worked on a couple of remixes for Joe's Hug Records release and the Tremulant label. Eventually, the pair decided to create an original together. With Joe on bass and percussion, Paul providing guitar, keys, and vocals, and Diana Ratsamee adding an extra layer of beauty, "Geodesic" was born. "Geodesic" rides on a downtempo four-on-the-floor rhythm, populated with dubby echoes, ambient-flavored synth layers, moody guitar lines, and somewhat meditative vocals. The cut is chill but not motionless — there's a danceable vibe throughout ready for DJs to deploy in just the right sets. Michael Manahan answers the call with the Find a Way Through Hypnosis Mix, raising the tempo while maintaining maximum atmosphere. Woofer-vibrating bass, pulsing pads, and arpeggiated synth runs mix elegantly with the original elements. The second remix, from Chilean DJ/producer Ahau brings out a gentle guitar part over repeating bell-like tones. The beats and vibe build steadily as the male and female vocals play off each other, transmitting near-spiritual imagery through the magic of sound.

okayyy ahau gwen post!! my Major Change is that shes now an investigative journalist at the daily bugle, bc i really like the dynamic from insomniacs games but 1. not for mj, let her serve cunt professionally and 2. peter can keep his photography job for the office drama

the watsonian reason for it is like. her dad is a cop. he always planned for her to be a cop. she Does Not want to be a cop. but bc of the way george raised her 1. shes a pretty fucking good detective 2. she internalised some lofty ideals about Justice and Truth and How The World Should Be and 3. she knows cops and the legal system cannot be trusted to uphold those ideals so she has to do it herself. ideally she wants to be a holmes-style World Famous Detective but thats not really something you can find applications for on indeed.com SO. george stacy used his connections with jjj to get her an internship at the bugle straight out of college (<- not even a journalism degree. she was in the same chem course as peter and harley)

ofc getting basically a nepotism job means that now shes finished the "bring jonah coffee and proofread some articles" stage and is onto actual journalism, shes got some Shit To Prove, namely that shes. actually capable of this. shes also constantly getting into shit with jonah, who very much personifies the invasive sensationalist profit-driven reality of journalism as an industry, bc shes trying to publish world-shattering exposés for the sake of Truth and Justice and because The People Have The Right To Know but hes trying to get clicks with ragebait "beloved hero is a MENACE" headlines for ad revenue purposes

once gwen figures out that peter is spider-man they become a scary effective team, its a regular occurance for them to show up to some type of location and for everyone there to get so distracted by the gorgeous, eloquent, and suuuuper fucking confrontational journalist asking all the wrong questions that they dont notice the weird little photographer is climbing walls to get incriminating evidence (and/or find the best entry route for when he breaks in later)

Now that National and ACT look like they're set for an awful term for new zealand, do not let yourself forget.

Don't forget how mainstream media accepted blanket national ads on news websites without question. How they promoted David Seymour and other right politicians as guests on comedy panel shows, pushing their profile and image. How they insisted on describing threats of genocide, violence and terrorism as "jokes", "opinions", and "honest mistakes".

Don't forget the national party members accepting saluting nazis in their midst. David seymour's "jokes" about violently murdering Pacifica people. The female maori politicians receiving death threats, being physically assaulted and having their homes invaded . Christopher luxon describing the poor as "bottom feeders". Their allyships with destiny church. Their attempts to frame queer people as predators. Their clear and ongoing attempts to redress antisemitic conspiracies into "maori elite" ones; and saying we should be literally exterminated.

And most of all, you BETTER not forget to take action. We have years to make sure this doesn't happen again, to ensure they can get as few of their disgusting plans accomplished as possible. We have to make change wherever we can and ensure that marginalized voices are accepted, supported and lifted up in our communities.

Fuck National. Fuck ACT. Fuck NZ First. And fuck all their pathetic little cronies.

We won't be silenced.

He knows what a Blood Moon looks like— who doesn’t? Back in Goron City, it really didn’t affect him, just a sign of passing time.

Now, though, he’s always being affected. Once, it had peaked above him just as he’d finished fighting a Lynel. He hadn’t noticed until the beast had swung again, nearly taking his arm with it.

So, he keeps his eyes out for it. He’ll stay far away from monster camps if he sees red where the moon should be.

Tonight, when the moon glimmers on the horizon, it’s blissfully silver. Yunobo breathes a sigh of relief.
