While some would argue that taking a shortcut down an alleyway was a mistake on the part of Sonya and Johnny, the Special Forces fighter would instead choose to believe that trying an ambush on them at all was the error--and the broken bodies of their assailants made that much clear as her sides heaved and her lips tugged into a scowl. Most of the threats had been neutralized, but--

Sonya's fist slammed into the side of the last remaining Black Dragon thug's face with the kind of force that a train colliding with a flower would find ludicrous--okay, fine. It wasn't literally that strong, but the way the man's head snapped to one side looked like she damn near broke his neck with the force of it. Before gravity could take him down, she had him by the front of his shirt. Ignoring the grunt that left him when she acquainted his back with the brick wall of the alleyway, blue eyes blazed with fury.

"Listen up, you sack of shit--and listen good."

Gone was Sonya, absent was Lieutenant Blade... this was a whole new level of intensity, her voice gaining enough force in its delivery that it wouldn't wholly be a surprise if it caused bruises all on its own. It was one thing to fuck with her--shit, it was standard operating procedure at this point--but for this dumbass to think that going after her boyfriend was somehow going to be a success? That would not stand, especially not when it came to how she knew Kano worked. If she let it slide once, then it would never stop. She needed to make it abundantly clear that the idea was not worth the risk, and the only way to do that was to send back enough dead bodies to make it unsustainable.

Yes, a single messenger would do just fine--let him tell the tale.

"Make it abundantly fucking clear to whoever you report to that the next time any of you assholes even so much as blink wrong in the direction of the man that I love... I will kill all of you with my bare fucking hands. Got it?"

That last part wasn't spoken so much as it was snarled, the protective rage bolstered by the emotion that she had finally spoken aloud--though Johnny had to now, by now, that such was how she felt. Hearing it, though... that had to be a trip, though Sonya wasn't considering that as she shifted her grip to allow herself to slam the poor sod against the brick wall all over again.

"I SAID GOT IT?!"

Stammered-out confirmation was all it took for her to hurl the thug away, the man flying a few feet down the alley--and to his credit? The moment he was able to get to his feet, he was running like his life depended on it. A huff of irritation and a straightening of the sleeves of her jacket before she looked over to the A-Lister, the faintest of smirks on her lips.

"Some people have no manners."
