Helaena who is Rhaenyra’s (her groomer) prisoner thoughts ? How does she feel about her ?

in the aftermath of blood and cheese helaena is so lost to grief and with no outlet for it, she turns on alicent. blames her for everything thats happened. if alicent hadnt hated rhaenyra so much, if she just let her marry rhae- jace, none of this would be happening, her children would still be alive, shed be happy (feel the need to say, we dont Know this but this is how helaena is thinking. shes “coping” by imagining a different, better reality for herself.). so when rhaenyra comes to take kings landing, helaena views it as her big sister coming to save her from her mother and brother. and rhaenyra is all too happy to feed into helaenas delusions if it means she can use her to hurt alicent.

i think rhaenyra and helaena would have to talk about b&c at some point (rhaenyra maybe bringing it up out of guilt) and when they do rhaenyra completely throws daemon under the bus. rhaenyra had No Idea what daemon was gonna do. she was Horrified when she found out. she wept for poor little baby… *reads writing on hand* jaehaerys. but… she Knows how helaena feels… helaenas brother killed her son :( ((very intentional word choice) absolving rhaenyra of blame. giving helaena a target for her anger. trying to make helaena feel guilty for aemonds actions)

helaena is Not in her Right State of Mind while shes rhaenyras prisoner. shes regressing back into herself to a time when she was younger and happier. back to when she was a little girl and rhaenyras little buddy. shes going full hero worship on rhaenyra, she can do no wrong. even though rhaenyra keeps helaena isolated (especially from alicent) im not sure she even fully realizes she IS a prisoner. rhaenyra is Nice to her, nicer than aegon or alicent. she listens to her. she Understands her. rhaenyra is just keeping her safe. helaena is “coping” by pretending things are better than they are. that rhaenyra is there for *her*. that she has someone who cares for her.

im not sure what breaks helaena out of this. maybe its maelors death. but realizing that shes, yet again, just a pawn in rhaenyras game definitely influences her suicide. helaena is tired of being everyones puppet. shes tired of being used. so shes gonna cut her strings.

helaena being the most like viserys out of all of his kids re: the people pleasing. sometimes it occurs to her that alicent/rhaenyra only ever seem to want to talk to her abt the other one, always seem to be humoring her when she talks about *her* interests, and those are Bad thoughts because theyre the only ones who pay her any attention at all and if *they* don't like her then- but then alicent and rhaenyra are there and petting her hair and calling her sweet names and its okay and shes Obviously just being silly love just makes you feel scared and alone and used sometimes its all okay 😌😌

Of Course alicent and rhaenyra love her! they *said* they love her, so it must be true. if it feels like they hurt her sometimes its just because thats how love is. :) its better than being alone

Mi tio zurdo llego a la casa para año nuevo

Pros: zurdo

Cons: el año pasado me dijo que tendria que poder hablar de problematicas trans y sociales aunque esté medio borracho cuando no pude explicarme completamente claro porque "en estas situaciones es donde se dan conversaciones asi y es donde podes cambiarle la opinion a la gente". Yo casi nunca tomo alcohol

La conversacion habia comenzado por el lado de "che las problematicas transmisoginas tienen un monton de racismo mezclado" a lo que respondio con "no entiendo que es lo que el movimiento trans busca legalmente porque ustedes deberian dividir sus problematicas en vez de juntar todo".

Despues paso a "che es re dificil conseguir trabajo como una persona trans, YO no puedo conseguir trabajo" a lo que dijo "donde yo trabajo (como abogado en un centro de adopcion en tucuman) somos re inclusivos de gente gay y trans, y a mi amigo el fiscal le dicen que es transfobico por no contratar gente trans pero lo que pasa es que el contrata a los mejores y si sos trans y no sos el mejor entonces no podes exigirle mucho". Y es tipo, te tengo que explicar cómo no te dan posibilidades en ningún lado si sos trans??? Comparado a las personas cis????????

Y la conversacion despues de eso se fue por el lado de discutir como mi depresion no tendria que frenarme de buscar trabajo y que no tendria que quejarme porque todos en la familia la pasamos para el orto. Si bien entiendo la posicion en la que mi tia estaba, mi tio podria haberle pedido ayuda a mi abuela financieramente para no dormir en la calle, ademas es un tipo cis, si yo estuviera durmiendo en las calles de tucuman no duraria ni dos dias.

Tl;dr mi tio es un abogado zurdo que se cree el aliado top por no decirle puto a un amigo suyo cuando lo llamo por telefono para decirle que era gay, pero no sabe que su posicion lo pone en extrema ignorancia que tiene que corregir al hablar con gente trans que no sea su sobrino trans de +20 años que todavia no puede conseguir trabajo y le dijo que se quiere matar.
