(The monsters didn’t need to be told twice, while the Predacons were tough enough that they didn’t even care. The fireworks soon would fly as a result. Meanwhile, Predaking thought for a moment, considering what Jackrow stated. The freeing of the other Predacons, which he’d notice the fruits of soon, would help him come to a decision. As for group three…)
Bradley: I believe Joan has told me that this “dragon mech” is actually an Ahtal-Nesto, the mobile homes of Antal-ka. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Neo Hive made the mistake of bothering one, leading to…this.
(At the same time, Plasma finished his appetizer, and went for the first course: the same exhausted bugs that fled from the Ahtal-ka. He looked like a maniac, but then again Astalos tend to be pretty crazy in terms of behavior, so he was just being an Astalos. Least the others could focus on the tree itself more, which was still not yet ready to fire off it’s payload (not even a “very close to” scenario either…though the stuff inside wouldn’t be wasted in the end)
(A.N. I imagine the Hive King will use the substance in the tree, once the tree is disarmed, to power himself up for his battle)
(Note: Phase 1 will be him at his current state and phase 2 will be of him using the pheromones for something big...)
Predaking: If I am able to save my people from this tyrant...*He soon transformed into his much more towering robot mode with his burning greatsword in hand* Then allow me the honors of getting the first hit.
Jackrow: You got yourself a deal!
(Meanwhile with Group 1 & 3)
*As Eberwolf began guiding the monsters out of the fortress and away from the exploding furnace, the others had soon met up group 3*
Ross: We got rid of the furnace and freed the monsters...What did we even miss here...*He was referring to the pestered Ahtal-Ka currently attacking Inferno* Is it with us or did they just annoyed a rogue Syndicate of Steel prototype?

Inktober Day 5: Build
“If you can show people how to build castles, make sure you do not neglect building and nurturing your own.” ― Suzy Kassem
{{ We all have to start from somewhere, even the Mighty Ahtal-ka doesn’t just make it’s grand nest overnight. This shows a younger individual with a smaller Ahtal-nesto, just beginning to take shape (based on some early concept art for the nesto). }}

(The golden mantis, an Ahtal-Ka, just screamed at the Neo Hive members present. The mantis was also almost Egyptian looking in appearance.
Tumblr media
She then shot silk into the ground, and pulled up a…mech? A gigantic, dragon-shaped mech, of a design not of even the Savage Scavengers…because the Ahtal-Ka made it. As she pulled it out, the same golden silk she used was seen keeping it together, indicating her handiwork. She soon took control of the mech, the Ahtal-Nesto, and crushed the Neo Hive members present (literally)
Tumblr media
Vivian saw this via a custom spy drone (not the same kind as the JCJenson robots), and realized that the golden mantis she saw had to make the mech, proving to be incredibly intelligent. There was tool making, then there was this madness. Meanwhile, Odalia also asked for the Replia Monster Drones to be updated to be more accurate. Getting the designers assigned to it to go along with the plan was…difficult to say the least)
Vivian:...How does she know how to build armor, let alone an actual mech?! How is she able to control it so smoothly with just silk?!?
Ross, as he and the others were watching through the drone as well: Clever girl~...*Everyone just gave him a look that screamed "really?"* Oh come on, let me have this!
Jaiden: It's not even a dinosaur...

(With group one, the various monsters were already quite ready to snap at anyone who came close, and Eberwolf’s words give them an excuse to wait just a moment. For the Predacons…they hoped that they could get revenge over this and what Predakingks fate is, unsure if he is still alive or not. As this was happening, Ross led other technology users to the furnace to focus on that, while Eberwolf and a few others handled the cages (with Ratha gaining particular interest in some eggs…which wouldn’t be without their mother for much longer). As for group two, Uzi’s “bug repellant” wouldn’t be for naught, proving an effective warding tool and great at overheating the opposition. As for everyone else, they didn’t all use heat, but they all had their own tricks to unleash. Finally, with group three, no words were said as they all just attacked without hesitation, Bradley in particular opting for Warrior and shrugging off the dropkick. Meanwhile, Inferno expected as cordial a response from the mantis. Instead, the Ahtal-ka let loose a screeching roar, and pulled out her…mobile home. Suddenly, Inferno was dwarfed by a massive, dragon-shaped pile of scrap mettle and silk. Oh, and the mass amounts of scrap from the warring had given the present Ahtal-ka plenty to work with, so it’s weak points were all actually armored. Thus, Inferno was now facing an Antal-Nesto, in all of it’s raw might)
Inferno: Fantastic...Insecticons! Retreat!
(Meanwhile with Group 1)
*The Insectoid guards would soon catch wind of the fact that they were being attacked and that their food was being set free...They wouldn't stand for this and would begin bringing in everything they had to fight back*

Serial designation J: That could be an issue...Can any of guys still fight? *The freed Predacons had suddenly transformed into much more bigger robot forms with large blades and bludgeoning weapons in hand* I'll take that as a yes.
(Meanwhile with group 2)
*The many Insecticons that stood in their way were all being cut down like paper with their numerous weapons or were being burnt to a crisp by Uzi's plasma flamethrower*
(Meanwhile with Group 3)
*As it turns out, the Crimson Guardian was capable of creating shadow clones capable of striking back against their opponents and the spear itself was capable of firing blasts and continuous beams of neon green energy and the Crimson Guardian wasn't against fighting dirty either*

Taraka: The best that we’ve got so far is that she controls it like a massive puppet. That mech, the Ahtal-Nesto, is both a battle machine and a mobile home for her, so it’s likely all the scrap left from this war that laying around was gathered up to upgrade it. Ahtal-Ka in general do raid fortresses for materials, after all.
(This just made the intelligent mantis look even smarter, as she clearly used what was laying around and that’s it. The fact that it was normal among the species was also quite a shock to hear, all things considered. Meanwhile, Odalia learned of this smart mantis and the mech between meetings, and did find herself impressed by the intelligence and ingenuity of the Ahtal-Ka, even showing her husband what was found to give him inspiration)
*Awhile later, the heroes heard the news of Blight Industries having bought out Jcjenson and got rid of Project: Drone Purge*
Lilith: I can't believe that the one responsible of ending this senseless slaughter was my school bully...*Helen comforted her shocked partner*
Luz: Let's just hope The Gray Horde doesn't buy their products because that would be a problem.

Any thoughts on Ahtal-Ka? I'd say they're startlingly intelligent at a glance, especially for a Neopteron, considering their ability to create and control 'scrap mecha.'
Absolutely so. Building skills are common in many insects like ants or termites, but Athal-Ka is on a whole other level. Only one specimen was ever observed in close detail, but many researchers such as my myself believe that each individual may even have unique mechanical constructs. Her machine, whether you want to call it Athal-Nesto or the Empress’s Throne, could have been specifically designed by her to look like it does, further adding to her surprising intelligence.
