Just a few Yancy headcanons

I just wanted to put these down somewhere because I've been thinking about mah boy.

He is asexual, panromantic. This could just be me projecting but I got major asexual vibes from him. Panromantic makes sense to me, since he was attracted to Y/N who is supposed to be gender neutral or at least he thought they were attractive.

He was a teenager when he first went to prison.

Pretty much canon but before prison he was 100% a theatre kid, maybe part of a choir.

He is a kinesthetic and aural learner (Hands-on and auditory-musical)

When nervous or anxious he runs his hands through his hair. And chews on his bottom lip.

He likes reading. He is a bit of a slow reader, maybe sometimes finds it difficult to focus but he loves the stories. Would definitely love audiobooks once he discovers them.

He is a bit out of touch with modern technology, movies and songs ect.

Hot chocolate is his favorite hot drink.

Has a secret notebook full of ideas for new musical numbers, dabbles into songwriting and poetry, and random sketches (maybe some of Y/N).

If he decides to leave prison with y/n hcs

He would definitely love a nice cosy evening having movie marathons.

He is a dog person, he loves them so much. Y/N will find him watching complications on YouTube (once he learns about it) but he doesnt mind cats, especially really fluffy ones.

It takes awhile for him to get used to how big and open everything is outside prison. For awhile he gets anxiety going out, and avoids going out alone but once he gets used to it he loves going to the park.

Wanna make him cry. Buy him tickets to Hamilton, or pretty much any theater production. (Kinda want a fic of this not gonna lie)

We know that Mark in AHWM is actually Actor!Mark. Meaning the heist is just another one of his games, right? So everytime Actor is removed from the scene and a new character shows up, it's just Actor playing a new role.

So Pirate is just Actor. Illinois is just Actor. And... Yancy.. is just... Actor.

We fell for the asshole guys :')

Actor literally has us right where he wants us despite Dark shedding light on what's actually going on. We just keep playing his games.

This was a request I got on discord and hopeful I did Yancy's accent right.

You escaped the happy trails penitentiary about 6 months ago and every third Sunday you made sure to sneak in to vist Yancy. Of course you snuck a few other days as well if it wasn't to risky, honestly you just wanted to see him. You were scared to admit it but you loved the tattooed man every since you met him. His accent, his charm, his looks, and his ability to always make you smile. Now a secret wish of yours was granted, Yancy made parole and was living with you. He had nowhere else to go so it made since. At the moment the two of you were playing an old boxing game. You were definitely winning. He was trying so hard. "You know the bet is still on right?" Oh you were so excited about the bet. The winner got a favor from the loser and you know exactly what you want.

"Youse is pretty good at this aren't ya?" You smirked, of course you were. You landed the final punch on Yancy's charecter and won the bet. "So what do youse want?"

"I-I want to cuddle with you. Please." You tired to sound confident but damn he's so attractive. You don't believe he would ever choose you, he could have anyone he wanted. To your suprise he started to blush at your request and move closer to you.

"Youse wanta cuddle?" You nod also blushing yourself. He wraps an arm around your waist and pulls you closer. "Have I ever told ya how beautiful and/or handsome youse are?" Honestly you weren't sure you just were enjoying the moment. "Now that Ima free would youse like to go ona date sometime?" You almost had a heartattck after hearing those words but you couldn't be happier.

"I would love that Yancy," and you were both enjoying you freedom since you were free.
