what grinds my gears like nothing else is textiles manufacturers greenwashing bamboo/rayon yarn or fabric as though the fact that it's derived from plant material erases the enormously toxic manufacturing process. like the first thing you think of when you think of bamboo yarn/fabric is 'oh it must be made like any other plant fiber' but no!!! that's a semisynthetic fiber that's usually made with carbon disulfide which is extremely toxic to workers and environment both!

and there ARE less destructive bamboo processing techniques you CAN make bamboo fiber the same way you do any other bast fiber theres EVEN a less common chemical process that doesnt do the same harm that viscose rayon does but NO instead we get ~natural fiber~ greenwashing that hides behind the extremely reasonable assumptions people make about plant fibers

I will never ever in my life begrudge people who buy bamboo yarn or for that matter acrylic because (a) goddamn its fucking rough out here (b) I'd be a massive hypocrite (c) the problem is the manufacturers not the individual and (d) sometimes it IS the yarn for the job but I will never stop beating my drum about this bc we! deserve! to know!

oughhhh i have so many fuckin ideas about Shawn Michaels and Undertaker but my brain is spinning them like a demented washing machine 😭😭

thinking about like. particularly in my fic, if ‘Taker goes back to the arena (presumably to grab whatever stuff he’d left behind) and he encounters Shawn… since i’m working from the idea that he’s at the very least tolerant of the Heartbreak Kid, i’d imagine he’d think to himself “oh, that’s shawn- i remember him. i think he likes me, i wonder if he missed me” as he goes up to the other guy…

…only for poor Shawn to see the literal walking dead and damn near pass out from fear, backing away from ‘Taker as fast as he can- not wanting to be hurt

and poor ‘Taker just watches him, completely puzzled as to why one of his coworkers and friends is now so terrified of him-

I mean it changes from time to time depending on Main fronters and stuff like that, but we do have a collective identity. We go by Arthur, Richie, or Zephyr, He/They/Xe/It Pronouns, were Aroace and Transmasc Agender.

🌵 - is your headspace big, or smaller? is it complex/less complex?

Our headspace is VERY large. We have 2 Main systems with subsystems and some different layers and a different planet I think?? It's so big and so complex-

🌙 - do you experience black out amnesia?

Sometimes, not frequently, but we have specific alters who get major or black out amnesia

🎙️ - does the taste in music vary a lot between different alters?

Yes! Very much so. So much so that we have different playlists for different alters because we can't stand each other's music sometimes-

There are!! There’s a few kinds but the ones I have are specifically distributed by Boston America and is just ‘Speed’ flavored though there’s also a GFuel one that is peach flavored [aptly called Sonic’s Peach Rings].

The dimension I went to is a party store that sold them for like two dollars so honestly I think that counts for something

What They Did To Meg and What They Did To Raoul notwithstanding (I will not withstand havingto talk about it), christines whole fucking THING was about escaping her abuser and detangling his grip on her psyche, and eriks whole fucking THING was about coming to grips with the fact that he cannot treat people the way the world treated him and he cannot force someone to love him no matter how unjust it is the way hes been treated and no matter how unjust it is that he has never been loved. even fully in the grips of the phantom, christine wants "freedom/ a world with no more night/ and [Raoul], always beside" her so WHY Beneath A Moonless Sky and WHY christine choosing the phantom at the end of it all. and erik LEAVES THE MASK BEHIND. came to the sad realization that poor benton probably had the fuckin worst time of his LIFE between The Green Death and Invasion of the Dinosaurs. i mean.

between Yates being put through the wringer, Jo leaving with Cliff, and absolutely EVERYTHING that happens in Invasion of the Dinosaurs, i can’t imagine that man was having a good time! that’s two of his *close friends* leaving UNIT!
