I do not owe a debt to society; for it is the authorities who owe a debt to me for their corruption and fraud.

Watching the "leaders of the free-world" swallow the whole character smear thing that Zionist Jews are doing to their victims hook, line, and sinker is very triggering to someone like me with C-PTSD because I know that they know that we know that they know they are intentionally lying and I know that they know that we know that they know they're lying and they don't care because they think they'll get away with it, because they always do.

I think an interesting Hunger Games book would be one about being in the Career system in districts one or two. Because imagine being pressured by your parents or your peers or what have you when you’re a little kid to attend an academy designed to train you to murder other kids in the Hunger Games, with the expectation that you’ll one day volunteer to do just that. It’s spending your entire childhood in a brainwashing pressure cooker to turn you into a killing machine like….

actually one thing that has been very elucidating while reading academic scholarship on anti-vaxx movements post-Covid is that a lot of seemingly “apolitical” or non-fascist participation in anti-vaxx and vaccine skeptical protests/demonstrations/social media activity is the result of decades of neoliberal governance - everyone is a ‘critical consumer citizen,’ a subjectivity that produces a public who is deeply invested in ‘shopping for alternatives’ and ‘getting the best deal,’ meaning that mass vaccination programs and mandates, even when universal and socialised, are viewed with suspicion by the public. These people are then primed to listen to the fascists who lurk among these movements, even if they’re a minority. I think one of the larger, more devastating takeaways of the pandemic is that our current situation in North America - low vaccination rates, high infection rates, lots of Covid variants - is the direct result of decades-long neoliberal projects to gut public infrastructure and turn everything into a privatised consumer product. Public goods like universal vaccination programs are therefore seen not as such but as authoritarian, anti-competitive disruptions of a free and open marketplace. To call it a PR disaster would be massively underselling it, but the public appears to have disappeared, replaced instead with an infinite mass of individuals in a market who all have to come to their own decisions about every aspect of their life, even at the cost of everyone around them. what a miserable place we’re in

Thinking about Batman during COVID, and I just know Batman put Bruce Wayne on one of those rich person quarantine vacations so he could be Batman full-time in Gotham.
The only problem? Wayne Enterprises kept holding random "online" meetings that required his assistance so he and the batkids got really good at faking "beach" at random crime scenes and Gotham rooftops. Bruce's cape got a secret lining that was palm trees and blue waves and could be thrown up behind him in a moment so he could fake beach.

it's just wild bc resident evil will be like. Here's Heisenberg a man who wears WW1/WW2 German dogtags and views humans not as people but as canon fodder. He desecrates the dead and literally hooks them up to an assembly line, in case you didn't get the heavy capitalist and war machine imagery already. Or look here's Oswell Spencer. He's a decrepit old pos who wants to pillage the KAZ for its natural resources in an effort to create a new, "evolved", superhuman race, killing the Ndipaya tribe in the process because, to be clear, he's a white supremacist. He will indoctrinate a group of children to become this new race and the rest will succumb to the virus and he won't care bc he's also a staunch eugenicist. And then countless other villains will employ the same tactics, will believe the same things, and will have active backing from the US govt and global military orgs and then fans will be like.... let's not talk about it. Let's actually forget any of this because I personally think they're hot and would like to fuck them

the rolling in the graves snippet
Nesta’s voice emerged from the closet, breathless with anger in a way that piqued Lucien’s every interest, entire focusing concern. “It has to be the silk taffeta?” Word spit like a curse, coming around the corner half in a bodice she was quite actively falling out of, Nesta froze at the sight of Lucien in the middle of white rug she hated. Stopped, one arm crossed over her chest, and like it didn’t break him clean in half, smiled. That quick quirk, her real smile, sharp and small. “Lucien.” In daylight, in domesticity, her sister rattling around downstairs, Nesta saying his name. Lucien slid forward, mindful of the intimacy it truly was, brushing his palm down her bare arm. “Nesta.” She made a face, a quick-change of amusement, scowling gorgeous at the pause before she pulled him close. An exhale, the slow sloping sun of late afternoon picking up a brighter, bloodier metric across her walls, pink and gold across Nesta’s bare skin. Even Lucien’s magic wanted. “Nesta,” Lucien said again, heedless of half filling his mouth with her hair, “What’s wrong?” Shoulders low and teeth sharp against his collarbone, Nesta nuzzled as close as skin and bone would allow, before she sighed. “Fucking temple before dinner. Feyre wants us to match.” “Like children,” Elain said, sunnily, from the doorway, unbothered by their closeness or the hiss Nesta let out, pure temper in the sound. “Mother had better taste.” “Mother was a tyrant,” Nesta heaved out, tipped back in Lucien’s arms but not away, hand bunched in his shirt more than a small wonder. She turned in place, wordlessly offering him her half-bared back, pink-blotched neck curved down. “Vanserra’s good with knots.” His first, desperate urge, was to kiss her nape. To follow Nesta down, heady on the sheer acknowledgement of one true thing. His second was to start lighting things on fire. Lucien could see where she’d tried to get it herself. Where the boning, structuring sheer panels around her waist, had dug in so deep as to leave marks. “Gifts,” Nesta sighed, poisonous. “From the High Lord.”
