A B.C. man who uses a wheelchair says he was forced to drag himself off an Air Canada flight in Las Vegas, after the airline failed to provide the assistance required for him to safely exit the plane.
Enforcement officers with the Canadian Transportation Agency have launched an investigation into the incident.
Rodney and Deanna Hodgins flew from Vancouver to Las Vegas in late August, in a much-anticipated trip to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Rodney, who is 49, has spastic cerebral palsy, and uses a motorized wheelchair.
The Prince George, B.C. couple travels every year, and is accustomed to the standard process to help him exit the plane. Usually, after the rest of the passengers have exited, an airline employee will bring an aisle chair — an extremely narrow version of a wheelchair controlled by handles.
But after landing in Las Vegas, an Air Canada flight attendant told the Hodgins no help, and no aisle seat, was coming — and said Rodney would need to get to the front of the plane by himself.

Months after the 2022 incident, the Toronto-based photographer, disability activist, and founder of AccessNow, found herself at odds with Air Canada staff over her wheelchair.
In a recent TikTok post, Ziv, who travels for work, claims that during flights to and from Austin, she faced "argumentative" flight attendants who refused to store her wheelchair in the cabin.

So these are some shots of my Boeing 747 model (1:390). I know that Air-Canada painted their Jumbos all white back then (I firstly wanted to put the Lufthansa livery on it, but then decider to just put the decals from the original kit on it) so don‘t wonder 😂!
The color pictures where shot with the Canon AE1 on an ISO200 color/negative film, whereas the black and white ones where taken with the A1 on an also ISO200 but BW/negative film.
PS: The Model Kit was by REVELL 😅
