and in that way, there's the real horror of the film. no, folks, it's not creepy due to spooky ghouls or unstoppable moiderahs, but it's creepy in the "somebody involved in making this exictedly and unironically said the phrase tiny teen titties during production" way! oh, if you thought Implied Underage Nudity was fucked up, just wait! we got some Real Shit that paints a potential victim of sexual abuse as really just a fucked up girl who wanted it

because that's what airam does! everything that maria wanted! everything she did was what maria really deep down wanted, and we see evidence of this from maria dancing in the mirror with glee when airam breaks her bully's knee with a hockey stick. so for airam to, you guessed it, try and seduce her father multiple times, including getting out her whole vagina for This Movie, it must mean that that's what the protagonist, a girl who is implied to have been sexually abused, wanted it!

i did definitely despise this, but after the eighteen hours of waiting, there was genuinely about 15 minutes of a really fun movie of a teenage shithead manipulating her way through dickhead's lives and doing no wrong. unfortunately that stopped being fun and the movie became like

An open letter to my spiritual sister

Sister, I am sorry.

Sorry for making such an insensitive and unresearched comment about HRT.

I'm sorry for the fact that each and every day, I find myself thinking about you, the good fun times that you, me and all of your headmates shared before... everything went downhill.

I'm sorry for reminding myself of you and unfailingly thinking about how things would be if I said something different.

I'm sorry for not being able to move on with my life after losing you

And, most importantly... I am sorry that I haven't been able to, based on what you told me 7 months ago, "let go of any delusion or self deception that you would be coming back".

It's been almost a year since my aformentioned comment about HRT, the same one that made you want to block me out of your life. These 11 months have been... a lot, to say the least. And I honestly would love to tell you about the cool things I learned and researched during this time, but... This isn't the moment for that.

What I do want to say is that... you were right. The things I said back then and how I tried to fix things up at first were wrong, insensitive, selfish and stalker-ish. And I can say this with certainty, because I have had more than 11 months to process all this pain and think about how you and I could have handled things better back then, and before our friendship was broken.

You were right, I am not a doctor, nor a trans person, and I shouldn't have made comments about a topic I wasn't well informed in. Ever since then, however, I put in the work to reflect on what happened, and I feel like I have grown as a person thanks to all this pain. I'll agree that this shouldn't have happened in the first place, but I cannot say that this time without you hasn't been benefitial, either.

My point is: you were right, and I was wrong. My position on underaged trans people beggining HRT was, indeed wrong: they should be able to begin HRT.

You were also right on what you said afterwards: I was unbeknowingly guilt tripping you into accepting my view of it, when in reality, I shouldn't have brought that topic in the first place - a topic of discussion that, once again, I was not informed about.

For all of this, I will say it once again: I am sorry.

Please don't take this letter the wrong way: this is not something I'm doing to get you to talk to me. It's just my way of saying that I have reflected on what happened and seen that, as I have stipulated above, I was the one who was wrong in that situation. What you decide to do with all that I said is now up to you.

I don't know if you will even read this to begin with, or if Skylar and the others will agree with me sending this and hoping that you read it. But... I think it's worth a try.

Becoming Filipino in the Making (Production)

In my role for this production, I've been responsible for assembling the audio elements, including background music and the AI-generated narration. When crafting the narrations, we have discussed utilizing different variations of the Talk-to-Speech generator that emulates the eerie, vintage quality often associated with analog horror films. Airam and I explored various voices, adjusting pitch and manipulating speech patterns to align with the energy envisioned by our screenwriters, documented in our two-column script.

In this process, it's crucial to emphasize the significance of maintaining the authentic analog horror aesthetic when collecting audio and background music. Using online tools to generate narrations should be deliberate and methodical to ensure they evoke this genre's eerie and unsettling atmosphere. When selecting background music, it's imperative to opt for tracks that enhance analog horror's chilling and nostalgic mood, drawing from a palette of sounds typically heard in such films. That's why we're instructed to utilize 50s until 90s commercial music to depict imperative elements of analog horror films.

In addition to audio, the choice of graphics and images plays a pivotal role in achieving the desired analog horror effect. These elements combine to create a complete, immersive experience that resonates with the audience, effectively conveying the message of the PSAs while invoking the uncanny and unsettling vibe synonymous with analog horror. We are currently in the production making, and we can have a positive input towards our process to deliver a substantial product that aligns with our intended goal for this output.

You guys might’ve seen these names float around here and there occasionally, so I thought that it’d be nice to officially introduce y’all to some of the other central characters of my Spiralverse canon! (Also, I’ve simply too many pretty MBs to not share, lol!)

Sevastjan Earlydawn, Katitzi: the heroes of the 4th arc! They actually came about simply b/c I wasn’t sure how to make the Ravenwood ensemble go to Lemuria and beyond w/o it feeling like it’d be somewhat forced, so I had to conclude that it’d just be better to use a new set of characters! I’ve also never played the 4th arc since my I’m still several levels below the max cap, pfffft, so a lot of what I did for these 2 is made up from the top of my head! Specifically in that it deals with Sevastjan, a guardsman under the W.C. Forces, finding himself getting caught up in the drama of a strange woman named Kalpana, who implores for his help in looking for a lost program that holds all her powers and memories, and the only thing that she can remember is that she serves a group of mysterious beings called the Old Ones! they also got a pretty tragic romance going on though, but shhhh, we don’t talk about that-

Meresamun Timekeeper, Xatirə: the heroes of the 5 B.O.X.E.S event! Meresamun specifically was actually supposed to be a part of the Ravenwood ensemble, but I also couldn’t find a proper way to put her in a meaningful role for any of the first 3 arcs, so I thought that it’d be much better to give her a storyline all on her own! So I took the 5 B.O.X.E.S event and reimagined it to fit her characterization and development, in which a time-traveler by the name of Xatirə, enlists her help in fixing the rifts of the timeline or else the whole Spiral would collapse in on itself, especially with her coming from an ancient lineage of powerful chronomancers!

Luretta Bellamine, Daniel Rothman, & Trini Moonforge: the protagonists of what I like to call the Resistance arc! They’re specifically inspired by the Fort Elena dungeon you do in Port Regal, seeing as, just like with the last 2 quests, I couldn’t think of a good way to get the Shatterhands over there when I changed a lot of the 1st El Dorado arc to make it fit them! So these 3 are here to fill that gap, as well as cover the Resistance side of things in the storyline, since they play such an integral role in Valencia part 2, and I just think that aspect is plain fascinating! The basic gist involves Luretta, a ballet dancer who’s also a Resistance spy, enlisting the help of 2 pirates, the underground fighter David and the freelance handyman Tiena, with breaking into Fort Elena and freeing all the political prisoners there, so that they can assist the Resistance in their plans to bring down the Armada regime!

Vontae Emmed, Iina Parker, & Airam Zavalia: my idea of what I guess you can refer to as the Young Hero(s) would be like! I’ve always been intrigued by Hero101 and what it was preparing to be like before it ultimately got scrapped, so I wanted to come up with something that’ll make it fit nicely into my Spiralverse canon, hence these 3 and the world they come from called Heroica! Since it was never confirmed what sort of concrete plot was intended for Hero101, I decided to make one up myself and have these 3 investigate a nefarious drug trafficking scheme, in which the streets of Nexus City have been plagued with a drug that causes people to lose their powers!

Haydée Spellmender: my token Sorcerer! She’s a Ravenwood alumni who’s very sweet and spunky, and often records things in her journal to sate her curious nature! She also has dreams of becoming a successful archaeologist just like her parents, so she works as an intern for the Gravulum Order in order to both refine her skills and make connections with other explorers! Though, it’s also what leads her to be involved with all sorts of bizarre happenings across Wizard City, from reversing the effects on students who’ve been cursed by book pages, to exploring the underwater streets of Crab Alley!

Nona: my one and only Stellarmancer! He’s a bit of an edgy sad boi(tm) as he has a loooot of angst surrounding his miserable time of being a servant for the Umbra Legion, and it only gets worse when he realizes that Old Cob, whom he thought was his friend who understood his feelings, only used him as a pawn to revive both his form and his powers. So the only way for him to atone for his mistakes is to travel across the Spiral and hunt down all the other shadow magicks that were released alongside Old Cob, desperately wanting to show that he’s changed and will no longer remain naïve to other people’s intentions towards him.

Lereia: my clockwork hitch-hiker! But don’t worry y’all, they aren’t as evil as the rest of their kind, in fact, they’re actually a very courteous and lovely person even in their aloofness, and most of the trouble they get into is just due to their whimsy and curiosity! It’s just that they were handmade by Kane to resemble a Certain clockwork prince, but they actually never knew that about themself as they woke up right after the Armada’s fall! And since they aren’t sure as to why they exist or how they should live, aside from their main objective of “giving love,” they decided that their best course of action is to travel around the Spiral and gather as much information about it as they possibly can!

thank you!!!!!! i’m having the time of my life talking it out right now with various people!!! so i think i will copy paste what i’ve typed so far!!! under a read more i guess because it might get long and also spoilers?

local brewer logan... handles the potion making... always has emergency bottles on hand, like healing, slow falling, invis, etc. trades a lot with the local villagers for his supplies bc the idea of his friends going out to fight mobs to get supplies makes him nervous... uses a crossbow when/if he has to defend himself/the others

adventurer/fighter roman... mobs don’t stand a CHANCE babey.... has a heavy iron shield painted like his logo in canon... gets into tight spots frequently, often has to use ender pearls to get out quick... has like...... 4 dogs. fights with a sick ass diamond sword that has some sick ass enchantments on it!!

patton... u know he's the Farmer��... supplies mostly bread or stew. the others will commit cow moo-rder for him so he has less guilt about cooking the steak. always trying to bring home animals - dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, etc. likes to build and decorate, sometimes the Adventurers will come back a week later to an entirely different house kaksjskdj. is the villager's favorite bc he gives them cake. if he has to fight, he’s bow & arrow boy. 

virgil is kind of adventurer/miner. he doesn't mind going caving bc it's usually pretty safe if he's careful about it and there's something Super Satisfying about finishing the day with tons of materials. no one's allowed to go into abandoned mineshafts without him bc he's the only one that can consistently navigate them. wishes roman would stop wasting ender pearls. likes adventure/exploring bc there's nothing cooler than finding new biomes. fights with diamond daggers bc STYLE babey. virgil has one (1) cat and normally she stays at home, but if he's going exploring with janus, he brings her along, so she can keep the phantoms away if it comes to it. 

janus likes tinkering with redstone but they dont really use it for much so usually he just makes things that make annoying sounds lol. adventures best with virgil, tries to always have good vantage points. skips sleeping as long as he can most of the time for Reasons (they need phantom membrane for slow falling potions, he has nightmares, a mysterious phantom rider...) there’s an idea in the works re: deceit’s scales that has to do with a nether portal accident. newest to the group (?) so still kinda harsh and snarky. will use literally anything as a weapon lol. gotta think fast!!

virgil, roman, and janus are Team Explore bc virgil’s got supplies, janus has the brains, and roman is the muscle. patton packs pastries for their trips. logan gives them a list of potion ingredients to try and bring back. (thank you airam!!!)
