Plus size creator creates petition to try and force airlines to offer larger passengers bigger seats | Daily Mail Online

Jaelynn Chaney, a travel and lifestyle creator based in Vancouver, wants the Federal Aviation Authority to 'protect' plus-sized travelers and make flying in coach 'comfortable and accessible for everyone.'

As plus-size travelers, my partner and I have unfortunately experienced discrimination and discomfort while flying,' she wrote in her petition, which has been signed by around 4,300 people as of Saturday afternoon.

She added: 'All plus-size passengers should be provided with an extra free seat, or even two or three seats depending on their size, to accommodate their needs and ensure their comfort during the flight.'

Chaney admits that price tickets would have to rise if she were to get her way, and concedes non-overweight passengers could be faced with higher ticket prices to help cover improvements.

When you have to tell people what to say about you, it says it all.

Sadly, this isn’t exclusive to Qatar/Qatar Airways. This is also a common thing at Ford Motor, that’s one of the reasons I left.

Interactions are incredibly forced there and you’re expected to say certain things a certain way in order to please managers/supervisors and be accepted by your team. It’s sickening. 😐

It's time to streamline at least one procedure with IRCTC Air: the overwhelming work of locating the best flight offers and trouble-free online flight booking. Inquiring as to how? You may book a flight to any destination in the globe by just following these easy steps. 

Visit air.irctc.co.in, the official IRCTC Air website. As an alternative, you can download the IRCTC Air app from the Play Store or App Store and purchase tickets anytime, anywhere from the comfort of your phone

              The choice of the sort of ticket you want to purchase comes next. 

You can choose from four distinct categories on IRCTC Air, including one-way, round-trip, multi-city, and LTC.  

Government officials and employees are permitted to take one round trip that is financed by the government every four years with the LTC, or "leave travel concession," on their ticketsGovernment personnel can only easily get this discount on their airfare by submitting the relevant documentation on IRCTC Air, the only official website.

You must enter the departure and arrival stations after choosing your preferred mode of transportation. The drop-down menu that appears when clicking the "from" tab is simply navigable by users, or they can manually type the location's name. Once both destinations have been registered, we can proceed to the following phase.

The next step is to input the departure and return dates. Simply select the "departure date" tab, and a calendar will be displayed on the screen. To continue with your airline ticket purchase, pick your travel dates wisely.

Simply specify the number of travellers, class (economy, business, or premium economy), and any preferred airlines in the last tab. Finally, simply select "search" to be shown a list of available airline ticket choices. 

When you've located the airline ticket you want, click "book" to finish the transaction. If you want to use your GST number for that specific booking, the site will ask you. If you decide not to, you will be taken to a different page that includes a thorough breakdown of the ticket fare as well as options for purchasing meals, checking additional bags, and choosing a certain seat.

Continue by revealing every aspect of the traveller. Log into your account if you are already an IRCTC member. Otherwise, enter all the information using the "guest user login." You will be taken to the final page once you have entered all the information.

Finally, review the preview of your reservations, and if you're happy with everything, proceed to payment. You have a variety of payment options on IRCTC Air, including UPI, wallet, credit card, debit card, net banking, etc. Simply select your preferred payment method to finish the transaction and get the final copy of your tickets and invoice through email.

We recently uncovered this mockup pasted on a board for a sickness bag for American Airlines in the archives. We couldn’t resist showing it off along with some of the other ephemera we have for the airlines corporate identity. Massimo Vignelli designed the American Airlines corporate identity while at Unimark International in 1967. Sadly, they abandoned the system in 2013 after nearly 40 years. Luckily we have lots of examples of the original design in the archives! Image descriptions: Printed pasteup of an American Airlines sick bag on a black board.
