— Kazumi! — Daiki segura o seu filho com delicadeza, chamando-o com um sentimento de puro horror. O adolescente estava encolhido no quintal sem dizer uma única palavra e Aiya se escondeu dentro de casa com um choro desesperado.

— Otou-chan? — Kazumi questiona com a voz absurdamente baixa, seria outro pesadelo onde aquela criatura se fantasiava do seu amado pai?

Parece que ele está em casa mais uma vez, mas... Não, o menino não quer se enganar.

— Sou eu, está tudo bem, você está seguro.

Aos poucos Kazumi olha ao seu redor, há apenas a aura amorosa de sua casa, sem escuridão ou criaturas demoníacas.

Aiya os acompanha silenciosamente.

— E-Eu achei que você tinha desaparecido com os outros. Não consigo entender, eu estava aqui e de repente não estava! T-Tinha alguma coisa atrás de mim, foi horrível.

Daiki estremece.

Seu filho corajoso parecia tão pequeno e indefeso naquele instante.

— Vai ficar tudo bem, já passou. Olhe, vou fazer uma mágica para te proteger! — Daiki diz com um sorriso divertido, passando sua mão em torno do rosto redondo.

— Vai mesmo?

Kazumi não acredita.

Aquilo foi estranho, não poderia ter sido apenas uma ocorrência. Deveria ter um motivo! Aquela criatura estava procurando algo, ele se lembra disso. O que poderia ser?

— Eu já menti pra você alguma vez?

— Não, mas...

Daiki curva seus lábios em um sorriso sutil. Ele se levanta e coloca o adolescente em suas costas para levá-lo para a cama.

— Então acredite, vai ficar tudo bem.

Kazumi ainda está desconfiado. Ele quer entender o que foi aquela terrível visão, tão aleatória, abrupta... Porém seu pai é um herói, um homem incrível. Suas palavras tem poder.

— Obrigado, otou-chan... — eu vou tentar acreditar, ele pensa em segredo.
