I know that the lyrics "my two legs are broken but look at me dance" from inertia by AJR probably mean something completely different
But as a disabled person I see them this way
My two legs are broken, they're both broken, but I have to dance, look at me do it, even though I'm in pain I have to dance
To me, the line describes perfectly the anger/sorrow having invisible/undiagnosed physical disabilities in a society that's unsupportive and inconsiderate brings
Even though I am in horrible pain when I'm doing anything that's not sitting down, I still walk to and from school every day, I still have to go out
I still have to dance

This was prob one of the first times I was actively waiting for an album to come out, and it was worth it!
Don't get me wrong, like 60% of the songs are absolute BANGERS (and the other 40% aren't bad by any means, just not my thing rn), but somehow my brain has absolutely CLUNG itself to Inertia, after it was hopping back and forth between three others
AJR, my beloved

I firmly believe that you don't find an AJR song, AJR songs find you

If I had a nickel for every time AJR mentioned cocaine in their new album, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

For all the AJR fans out there, Idk if anyone noticed but I was listening to the new album and my favorite ones currently are 2085 and Maybe Man.
Coincidence wants that I was firstly listening to 2085, which is the last one of the album, and to Maybe Man after, which is the first one.
And I just noticed that the end of 2085 is similar to the start of Maybe Man.
I guess that someone already noticed it but WHAT THE HELL THEY MADE A LOOP.
They made a loop in the album, they’re freaking genius wtf.
I love them so much, go listen to The Maybe Man it’s worth every second of it.

Gosh, I'm so normal about "The Entertainment's Here". I definitely do not think about its musical symbolism way too much; and it is definitely not one of the AJR songs that I feel the most called out by
