ok, soooo damn, i have several nashaka fic ideas now, that are circulating in my head, and one of them i actually started writing already, which is shoking tbh.

BUT i have this OTHER idea on my mind that i really, really wanna write, but lack confidence, because i dont know if i can pull it off or not.

basically, the rough premise is: akashi is something akin to femme fatale, he wants to kill his father, to end his control on his life, but doesnt want to get his hands dirty and go to prison.

he has a one night stand with nash, nash gets a little obsessed, and at first akashi thinks its annoying, however, soon realizes that he can actually use him, so he skillfully manipulates nash to make him do his dirty work for him.

ive fallen so deep down the rabbit hole that is knb that i dont even give a shit if anyone ship this or not, bc im ready to sail this raft by myself lmao

nash gold calls akashi on his eighteenth birthday.

two year since their last meeting—there's some brief words about their first encounter on the court that really tickled gold's fancy, about akashi being the only one in a long time to live up to his name, about how the gleam in his eyes in the mists of a game's passion just really did something for gold, and how gold had waited until he could finally act on that infatuation—he'd never forgotten or met someone as insanely gorgeous since then. from the moment he lost that game, he thought of how dazzling akashi would be naked on his bed, covered in a bright sheen of sweat and satin.

akashi's heart bubbled up then with something like flattery and anticipation, and found some semblance of satisfaction in doing something against the grain of his reputation. but he also knew a little something about obsession, and nash’s offer wasn’t one born out of tenderness or ardor. it’s an offer color coded with idolatry. akashi knows all about being followed and yelled after.

but it’s nash gold, and akashi would be lying if the phone call didn’t trigger a waterfall of nostalgia, or if his heart didn’t beat in double time afterward.

what they have can not be called dating. with nash an active player in the nba and akashi following a strict schedule with his company, they barely even see each other. even so, if asked about the status of their relationship, akashi might give a crescent moon smile. he realizes somewhere down the line, after a few nights together, that the reason he keeps coming back is not so much for the company but the validation that he is just as gay as he thinks he is, something he can’t get in tokyo’s entertainment magazines or basketball features.

it's april fourteenth, and akashi sneaks into nash gold's penthouse suite in downtown los angeles.

Late End of (3) Month(s) Reflection

I've really enjoyed the past three months that I got to spend dedicating solely to Romani, as it's something that I've wanted to do for a while. I love Romani a lot (more than Catalan? possibly...) and it's a language that I want to learn properly and give its due respect, so I'm very glad that I got the chance to do that. Unfortunately, last month was not the most productive, for reasons I'm sure we all understand, and I didn't get the chance to reach my (somewhat ambitious) goals. I'm feeling a bit burnt out now, so I probably will be taking a bit of a break from doing serious learning, although maybe in a couple of weeks I'll be feeling more up to it. That being said, I'm definitely going to be coming back to studying Romani as soon as I feel up to it, as I want to make an actual improvement this year so I can talk to people!
