well im bored SO im going to show you my 5 favorite albums of all time

1. sua alegria foi cancelada (2019) by Fresno

I started to listen to fresno in 2020, it was a pandemic year so i listened a lot when i was alone, or when playing something like Shadow of the Colossus or just lying in my bed. My best friend recommended it to me cause there's a song of this album called 'Quando Eu Caí' which she dedicated to me and our friendship. I remember her when I listen to it. Also, Fresno marked the beginning of a huge chapter in my life in 2020, which I'm now passing through a process of resignify.

My favorite track is 'De Verdade'

2. SAILING (2019) by AKMU

Another album of 2019! This is one of my favorites and its so personal . i consider it part of my personality. I see myself in those songs and in its so beautifully written lyrics. Also, i love the album cover. The fact that it is blue all blue (my favorite color) makes my heart melt, can't describe into words how this color was made for me. This one marks the first time i fell in love and . sigh . how happy I was. I miss those times.

My favorite track is 'Moon'

3. COR (2021) by ANAVITÓRIA

Oh this one is really important to me. Loving someone and being loved is such a powerful feeling. I have ambiguous feelings about this album 'cause at the same time I love it, I can't listen to it. I remember too much and I feel a lot so I dont even try to listen to any song of this one anymore.

My favorite track was 'Selva'

4. When Facing the Things We Turn Away From (2021) by Luke Hemmings

I dont have a big explanation for this one. I love the songs and the lyrics and that's it. I heard a lot of this album when I was still working in the office.

My favorite track is 'Saigon' and 'Baby Blue' (blue duhh)

5. Beijo Estranho (2017) by Vanguart

I started to listen to this one when I was processing my first breakup 😁 I listen to this album from time to time, I always come back to it.

My favorite track is 'Eu Preciso de Você'

TCF Author Q&A (Quick Summary)

Ridi, one of the Korean publishers of TCF/LCF, released an exclusive Q&A with Yoo Ryeo Han, the author of TCF, as a special feature for the release of the Korean ebook version of TCF.

The ebook has 5 volumes, spanning chapters 1-117 of Part 1. It costs around 12,960 won. The Q&A can only be viewed if you buy the ebooks.

Since the Q&A isn't publicly available for free, I won't post a full translation of it. Just a quick summary of it.

Q: How do you write the entire story? A: Set the overall flow, and write the details as I write. Ending has already been decided.

Q: Easiest or most difficult character to create a setting? A: Easiest - none. Most difficult - Choi Han.

Q: Character that changed the most from the initial setting? A: Alberu. Supposed to be an insignificant villain, but changed to someone who talks well with Cale when I came up with the glib tongue trait.

Q: Writer's block solution? A: Just write. Eventually, I become immersed and get ideas.

Q: Most important focus when planning the story? A: The characters. I like them to feel alive.

Q: Cat owner? A: Sadly, I'm not a cat mom.

Q: Writing routines? A: I write in the morning.

Q: Fave scene? A: Raon Miru naming scene.

Q: Happiest scene? A: Cale coughing blood... When Cale and his friends are eating and resting.

Q: Most difficult to write scene? A: The past of the characters.

Q: How many chapters from start to end? A: No comment because I always get it wrong...

Q: Work environment? A: Write alone with background music. But no public places.

🎶 — do you listen to music while you write? what song have you been playing on loop lately?

i always listen to music while writing but the music itself changes with each fic! when i was writing my longfic last year, i listened exclusively to akmu's SAILING album, and my most recent fic had a soundtrack of only twice albums. i listen to instrumentals a lot too!

🛒 — what are some common things you incorporate in your fics? themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

i answered a bit of this in another ask but shake the heavy is really. Extremely representative of my fic themes overall. a lot of hurt/comfort, domestic established relationship, grappling with past trauma, and finding the safety to be vulnerable :-) i also tend to write a lot about hands because i like hands. and yearning!! always room for more yearning, even when the characters are already married
