entertaining my autism by assigning each brother dbd hook charms. giving myself the rule that i cant use any of the pride flags.

osomatsu: the milk carton has a horse on it, casino machine, bloodweb for color + connections.. you know. to others.

karamatsu: dendrite cluster for color (deep blue), rose, ashy slashy bc karamatsu has his vibes + I didnt like anything else for him

choromatsu: sharkbitten surfboard (the green fits, also makes me think of the akuma surfers), remote controlled frog (frog), trickster concert ticket (he's an idol, idol ticket. none of the other charms really rep this as well. alternatively i could put one of the lightsticks but neither feel right)

ichimatsu: raven heart (ichimatsu reminds me of corvids), caged heart (his delicate heart), black cat (obvious)

jyushimatsu: pineapple (...it's out of place. he is all over the place. if i had the pineapple drink cup it'd be that one), auric cell (color, also microcurrency so ill say ref to the crypto. idk), chimera ( dude none of these charms really fit jyushi enough .... this felt weird enough to fit as best i could)

todomatsu: pride bird (i didnt ban myself from the bird. also idk i feel like he would like it), the phone (it's. twitter. so...), jiwoon photocard (pushing it, but this is mostly for the finger heart)

Ok so I was reaserching some stuff for my Denki Mystery Blog, and I happened to find an interesting piece of merch! Acrylic Stands!

It’s precursor was the Acrylic charms first released in 2017:

A hefty lineup of 8 sets, Osomatsu in Neetland, Steampunk, Musical, Kigurumi, Magical Girl, Akuma Rider, Band and Youkai sets. It was done gacha style, like the game. You didn’t know who you bought until you opened it. (Hence the trading aspect.)

Come winter 2018, to coincide with FesMatsu ‘18, Acrylic figures came back but as stands!

The 6 sets are 

Band Teachers (since the original band set was used in the acrylic charm set)

Princess

Color Gang

Vampire

Denki Mystery

Chinese Food

All of them are in their walking sprites except for the Chinese Food. The bases were generic coming in 6 random colors (both stands and bases were random so ex. Vampire Ichimatsu may come with a purple base or turquoise base and not necessarily a green base.)

They also released a Diorama set with 6 enemy acrylic stands and 12 slots, perfect to add one of each of your own matsu. The stage background is the anime opening background.

Musical Dark Past 1 (since the regular musical set was already used as a charm)

bringing a total of 9 sets. This time, the base is properly color coded, but still plain with white polka dots.

I can’t find any info on any 2019 merch (aside from the Almost all illustrations book and Original OST release). But for the 4th anniversary Hesokuri Wars released these dioramas in Fall:

The Dioramas are based on the attractions and objects you can get at the ingame 4th anniversary campaign for Trashney Land, the acrylic stands you could get are the 3rd Anniversary units (not the 4th surprisingly), that carries 5 dolls of the most popular sets in Hesokuri (Noir, Yakuza, Vampire, Denki Mystery and Musical). Alongside regular parka units. If I’m right you could also swap out the stands with stands from the past two volumes! Allowing you to make your very own Matsu shrine (Oh how I want Juicy and Toshio,,,, hngg)

Also available for Fall 2020 are two more volumes of the acrylic stands!

The bases this time are much more personalized, referencing the aesthetics of the original set (ex. Denki Mystery Zero and Christmas Vampire’s bases are a reference to their promo images posted on the Hesokuri Wars twitter, and Matsu Noir and Yakuza referencing their event campaign images)

Since the only way to get this is through a gacha-styled system, these figurines (esp the much more popular sets) can go for a hefty price. (Denki Mystery,,,, please come home,,,,)

Bonus:

Turns out the Charms DID comeback but in the form of various items. It seems like there’s only one release although I couldn’t exactly date it, it was most likely released with the 2020 merchandise. The items featured are

Instruments from Band (Jade’s guitar is specifically the one introduced in the Casual Clothes set, Feb 2017)

Umbrellas from Gothic Lolita Princess (May 2018)

Surfboards from Akuma Surfer (Aug 2018)

Firearms from Angel (Nov 2017)

Personal Artifacts from Denki Mystery (Hajime’s Leather Bag isn’t actually seen until Karatsugu’s Episode unit, Feb 2020)

Seems like these sprites are created originally for this merch as most of these specific sprites don’t actually show cleanly in the sets, like the Angel’s Guns or Denki Mystery’s items.

Extra: I’ve seen some people customize their own stands by using the acrylic charmss, not all of them fit the bases though, Musical, Kigurumi, Magical Girl and Band kinda fit if you insert their foot into the hole.

I’ll probably make another post detailing on the other merch (like buttons holy shit a ton of buttons, clear folders, washi tape, notepads etc.)

Hesokuri Wars is introducing a premium subscription program called the “Premium Neet Pass”! 

The Premium Neet Pass is a monthly subscription that comes with five special benefits:

Monthly Goodies: Each month you will receive 1 Hyper 4-Star Scout Ticket (units under the cut), 1 Limit Breaker, and 5 Rainbow Emotites.

Premium stickers: You will receive a Premium Sticker every month you own a Neet Pass. Each consecutive month will increase the number of stickers you get in a month, up to a maximum of 3. When you collect 12 stickers, they can be cashed in for units! (units under the cut)

Daily Goodies: Every day you will receive 1 gold flag, 1 silver flag, and 50 of each regular colored emotite. 

An exclusive title for your Neet Resume: You will receive three titles only available through the Neet Pass -- and you get to keep them even if you cancel your subscription.

Gold Flag Bonus: You will receive 20% more gold flags when you roll in diamond gachas

All items will be delivered via the Present box; do not forget to collect them. 

Other Notes:

The subscription is through your App Store / Play Store ID and connected to your Game ID.

If you start a new game/account, you will need to cancel your previous subscription and start a new one on your new account. 

Likewise, if you change your App Store ID, you will need to cancel your previous subscription and start a new one.

If you accidentally purchase a pass from different App Store accounts for the same game multiple times, no refunds will be offered.

Unless required by law, no cancellations, refunds, or extensions will be accepted.

The Neet Pass is available in the bottom tab in Chibita’s shop for ¥480. The Neet Pass will auto-renew every month.

To cancel your subscription:

Cancellations must be done more than 24 hours before the next renewal (you will be charged at midnight JST). Hesostaff recommends a minimum of 2 days ahead of the end of your month for safety. 

If you transfer your data to a new device:

[iOS > iOS] or [Android > Android] with the same App Store / Play Store ID: Your subscription will continue with no issue.

[iOS > Android], [Adroid > iOS], or [Change of App Store / Play Store ID]: You need to cancel your subscription, which will end on the final day at 3:59am JST. Then, purchase the Premium Neet Pass again with your new Store / ID. 

After cancelling, you will continue to receive the Neet Pass benefits until the end date at 3:59am JST. 

Uninstalling the game will not cancel your subscription. You will continue to be charged until you manually cancel your subscription.

5.) Matsu Noir

This set slowly grew on me. Every update made them cooler & cooler. Noir cops is so funny to me (and the one where they wear SUITS aaaa)

4.) Fujio Rock 

I MEAN WHY NOT? I am weak for bands & OSOMATSU IS THE SINGER HH. The duos for these are always rlly cute too. I cant get enough of them every time they update. 

3.) AKUMA SET

I MEAN THEY’RE HOT?? DID U SEE THE SURFER SET?? I love the idea that devils are pretending to be priests & holy people. And now they have an arch-nemesis (im lookin at u tenshi set). I hope we see a set in the future where they interact/fight maybe?? Idk im hopeful

2.) NEETLAND

Alice Osomatsu. I love her design & attack. That’s really it. She grows huge and STOMPS PPL (this must be a trope bc rabbit!Oso in Tabi also grows huge hfsj). I also reeally like Jyushi & Kara’s designs.

What kind of costume would the brothers wear and why?

Osomatsu:

A vampire costume!

A vampire costume is the most commonly worm costume among Halloween costumes, along with Werewolf and others

When Osomatsu wears this, it's all about scaring the ever living shit out of someone rather than getting candy. (But it's about getting candy as well!)

Karamatsu:

A werewolf costume!

A werewolf costume generally is the best costume for Kara since there are only two supernatural creatures that capture the interests and hearts of women...and that is the werewolf and the vampire

Karamatsu wearing this costume, he's hoping that some ladies would come to him and ask him about his costume or compliment him on it. Maybe take a few pictures...

However, he's so painful no one even bothered to look his way, so KARAMATSU GIRLS! GIVE HIM SOME LOVE

Choromatsu:

Akuma Surfer

When Halloween comes around, Choromatsu is only prepared on one thing...DRESSING UP AS HIS FAVE MALE CHARACTER! After all, it's not cosplay if no one knows he's cosplaying *cue the guy pointing at his head with a smug grin on his face meme*

On any other day, Choromatsu would be embarrassed or even anxious to cosplay anywhere

But on Halloween, everyone's in costumes so there's nothing to feel anxious about

Though in the end, he doesn't end up doing it cause his mind kept coming up scenarios that were both embarrassing and terrifying, like what if someone comes up and recognizes the costume he's wearing and make fun of him?

Yeah, he stays home and pass out candy with his mom...
