Mandatory post I always make on 9/11
9/11 was caused by Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda. We found that out 2 weeks after the attack.
But Bush blamed Sadam Hussain and 4,700 US soldiers and hundreds of thousands Iraq civilians died in the attempt to kill him. When people started asking questions they switched up their story of "Oh its because they have weapons of mass destruction" which they also did not have that all of those deaths was probably over oil.
And Hussein's rise to power as well as Al-Qaeda's rise to power were both directly caused by direct US interference in the 1950s
The United States sold Al-Qaeda weapons and overthrew the previous government.
And overthrowing the Iranian government was also over oil.

Never forget.
Some fun facts about how attentive George W. Bush was from his inauguration up to 9/11. From Fred Kaplan at Slate.
A USA Today story, written right before Bush took off, reported that the vacation—scheduled to last from Aug. 3 to Sept. 3—would tie one of Richard Nixon’s as the longest that any president had ever taken. A week before he left, Bush made a videotaped message for the Boy Scouts of America. On the tape, he said, “I’ll be going to my ranch in Crawford, where I’ll work and take a little time off. I think it is so important for the president to spend some time away from Washington, in the heartland of America.” [ ... ] In his CIA days, (former CIA officer Larry) Johnson wrote “about 40” PDBs. They’re usually dispassionate in tone, a mere paragraph or two. The PDB of Aug. 6 was a page and a half. “That’s the intelligence-community equivalent of writing War and Peace,” Johnson said. And the title—”Bin Laden Determined To Strike in US”—was clearly designed to set off alarm bells. Johnson told his interviewer that when he read the declassified document, “I said ‘Holy smoke!’ This is such a dead-on ‘Mr. President, you’ve got to do something!’ ” [ ... ] Then again, it’s easy to forget that before the terrorists struck, Bush was widely regarded as an unusually aloof president. Joe Conason has calculated that up until Sept. 11, 2001, Bush had spent 54 days at the ranch, 38 days at Camp David, and four days at the Bush compound in Kennebunkport—a total of 96 days, or about 40 percent of his presidency, outside of Washington.
Also, a bit about that famous PDB (Presidential Daily Brief) which Bush got on 06 August 2001 with the heading Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US. From the Washington Post.
The book's opening anecdote tells of an unnamed CIA briefer who flew to Bush's Texas ranch during the scary summer of 2001, amid a flurry of reports of a pending al-Qaeda attack, to call the president's attention personally to the now-famous Aug. 6, 2001, memo titled "Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in US." Bush reportedly heard the briefer out and replied: "All right. You've covered your ass, now."
Those bits probably don't make it into most history textbooks, but they're verifiable and reveal a privileged GOP president who who was more interested in vacationing than in the details of running the country.

If I were a teacher not only I wouldn’t ban Osama’s letter to America, I would make every student of mine read it and write a report on it, then read and discuss it again in class, test them on it, make them do a presentation on topics such as “Osama as a member of the 1%”, “yes, terrorists can talk pretty too”, or “People who make similar points that weren’t literal mass murderers”; make it part of their finals, give them literature to compare and contrast, etc. until they learn to read critically.

9/11
so. We all know what happened. And if you don’t let me explain. In 2001 on this exact day of September 11 three planes were hijacked by the al-Qaeda group. Many people were injured and had died.
I wanna talk about a lot. I will add things that some people might not know.
here we go.
One of the devastating calls from loved ones.
“Jules this is Brian. Uh listen, I’m on an airplane…that’s been hijacked if things don’t go well, and it’s..not looking good..I just want you to know that I absolutely love you. I want you to do good. Go have good times uh, same to my parents and everybody, and I just totally love you. And uh I’ll see you when you get there. Bye babe.”
this one I remember specifically because it almost made me cry. The awful hijackers. They’re all disgusting for their actions. They killed thousands of people for what reason? no one truly knows. Some might. But I don’t. I do but mostly it’s a stupid reason that shouldn’t involve killing thousands.
now I want to talk about the brave souls on flight 93.
they had done heroic things and we appreciate them dearly.
they had distracted the hijackers by pouring hot liquid on them (I believe) and they had flown the plane downwards to avoid anyone else getting hurt. The lives on that plane were sadly,,,,lost but, we appreciate them for their actions.
now the twin towers . The thing that everyone remembers everyone knows about everyone talks about on 9/11.
twin towers stood tall in New York City. Many people had worked in there. Many people had been in the tower when I got struck.
now I don’t know what time it got struck, but it was truly devastating and it was very scary for many people. Then a couple minutes later the other tower was struck. Big clouds of smoke covered New York City. People running for their lives just trying to get out. And then the Pentagon got struck.. everyone was scared, and no one knew what to do.
I want to talk about where I am close to. During this time. My teachers were teaching and they were scared because they thought in St. Louis one of the places that is very important that holds all the government maps was going to get struck. Basically everyone was scared. Gladly didn’t get struck, but, it’s still devastating. The fact that many people have died..
about 2,998 people had died at that time.
a moment of silence.
thank you.
thanks for reading.
watch on YouTube “9/11: as events unfold” for more information.
I love you all.
Rest In Peace all of the souls that have passed. 🕊️ ❤️

Ending today with the Embassy bombings:
The last post for today is the starting gun on the history that leads to the 9/11 attacks, the 2003 Iraq War and the 2001 Afghanistan War, and much of the formative aspects of how the 21st Century began and why it took the shapes it did. It began not in the Middle East, but in East Africa, where the organization Al-Qaeda set off bombs in two US embassies, ones that led to US cruise missile strikes in the Sudan and in Afghanistan targeting the movement that did this.
From here the movement's effectiveness would grow culminating in the September 11th attacks and their establishing a new world order that would take the world down more unpleasant and murderous paths.

UN helicopter captured by al-Shabaab after making emergency landing, UN spokesman confirms
By CNN, 10:52am Jan 11, 2024
A United Nations helicopter carrying several passengers has been captured by terror group al-Shabaab in Somalia after making an emergency landing in an area controlled by the group.
An assessment team is being prepared, UN Spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Wednesday (Thursday AEDT), confirming the helicopter capture.
The UN emergency assistance helicopter made an emergency landing likely due to a mechanical issue in Somalia's Galmudug region, which is controlled by the al-Qaeda-affiliated terror group, according to the state-run Somali National News Agency (SONNA).

There were eight passengers on board, including foreigners, an a rescue is underway, according to SONNA.
The United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM) said the helicopter "was conducting an air medical evacuation" and that more information would be released when it becomes available.
This comes weeks after Maalim Ayman, a senior leader of the al-Shabaab militant group operating in Somalia and Kenya, was killed on December 17 by a joint military operation between the Somali and US forces.
Somali Minister for Information Daud Aweis announced the death of Ayman on Friday.
"Ayman was accountable for planning multiple lethal terrorist attacks in Somalia and nearby countries," Aweis said in a statement on social media at the time.
Ayman is responsible for a terrorist attack on US and Kenyan personnel at Kenya's Manda Bay Airfield on January 5, 2020, US officials say.

Both Battlestar Galactica (the entire 2003 reboot) and Star Trek Enterprise (Season 3) are Post-9/11-Shows. The try to say something worthwhile about the War on Terror, but I'd say they largely fail to do so because the conflicts they depict are too unlike the confict between the 2000s United States and Jihadist Political Islam. The Cylons and the Xindi are an existential threat to humanity - they want to exterminate humans and have the potential to actually do so. But al-Qaeda didn't intent to kill all Americans and didn't have the capacity to do so even if it wanted. And neither did the United States intend to kill all Muslims (and even though it had sort of better capabilities to do so if it wanted - Nuclear weapons - that would run counter to its goals as a global hegemon). No, both sides posed an ideological threat to each other: the power of the United States compared with the powerlessness of the Islamic World made an Islamist wonder why it seems like God wasn't on their side, while Terrorism called into question the security the US promised and the apparent rejection of liberalism in the Islamic world called into question if this really was the model of the future for the world.
Stories about how a society acts if its very existence is immediately threatened can be quite interesting, and BSG and ENT Season 3 are Series I do like watching. But trying to use this to talk about Terrorism and the War on Terror IMO didn't make the series better.

Imagine 9/11 as an everyday occurrence rather than as a one-time event and you have some idea of what is going on in Ukraine.
Putin and his clique need to be brought to justice just as the perpetrators of 9/11 were. Instead, they're being normalized by tankies, far right media hosts, and the amoral leaders of certain countries.
Russia intentionally bombs schools, medical facilities, cultural institutions, apartment buildings, playgrounds, and granaries.
Putin has understood since April of 2022 that he can never conquer all of Ukraine so he is simply engaging in a genocidal temper tantrum to hurt his neighbor as much as possible. Destroying a maternity hospital temporarily makes him feel better about not having a victory parade in Kyiv.
Under Putin, Russia is a terrorist state. You don't negotiate with terrorists – you arrest them and put them on trial.

I am for a temporary ceasefire for humanitarian purposes (see image below) but make no mistake my loves, Hamas must be COMPLETELY destroyed just as the terrorists organizations before them. This was revealed to me through the story of Deborah ⤵️
Tumblr media
This conflict is being socially engineered but no “human psychology” will ever outsmart God.
I also heard “dysentery”
Tumblr media
⬆️ This is happening (or will happen) to innocent civilians as well hence the need for BADLY needed aide. Please 🙏🏾
Providing this relief WILL NOT cause Hamas to get away. That I promise you.
Netanyahu is understandably angry and hurt for his people. I can feel it 😔💔 This is an ancient wound for the Israelites. This involves generational trauma and as a descendant of SLAVES I wholeheartedly understand. The anger BURNS 🔥 like nothing before.
Ps. 🚨Hezbollah is planning another attack. I also heard “a mosque” again!!

The Al Kuwari (علي بن أحمد الكواري) clan financier of Al-Qaeda.
The U.S. Treasury Department has released declassified information regarding individuals from Qatar associated with 'Al-Qaeda.' The primary financial support for Al-Qaeda comes from the Al-Kuwari clan. Members of the Al-Kuwari family, holding significant positions in Qatar's administration, play a central role in financing and coordinating international terrorist cells. This is facilitated through a controlled banking network and non-profit organizations.
From 2011 to 2015, Kuwaris involved in Al-Qaeda's terrorist activities were included in U.S. sanctions lists. However, this did not impact their status or advancement within Qatar's power structure, and they continued to be accepted in the international political establishment.
Ali Bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, Qatar's Minister of Finance, was included in the sanctions list. The U.S. Treasury Department documented his direct involvement in financing Al-Qaeda activities, directing millions to 'Al-Qaeda' in Iraq and providing substantial funds to 'Al-Qaeda' in Syria, 'Ash-Shabaab' in Somalia, and 'Al-Qaeda' in the Arabian Peninsula through the charitable organization Qatar Charity.
The financing schemes, totaling tens of millions of dollars, originated from an affiliated network of Islamic banking linked to Ali Bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, including Qatar National Bank, Qatar Islamic Bank, and Qatar International Islamic Bank, with intermediation through Barwa Bank and Masraf Al-Rayan.
Qatar Charity, led by Ali Bin Ahmed al-Kuwari's brother Yousef Ahmed al-Kuwari, is associated with QNB and has been categorized as a 'Tier III (TSE) terrorist support organization' by U.S. authorities. It has been implicated in criminal cases related to terrorist acts funded through the Islamic banking system managed by Ali Bin Ahmed al-Kuwari.
The British branch of Qatar Charity, rebranded as Nectar Trust, sponsored the Emaan Islamic Center in the UK, with its director associated with supporting uprisings inspired by Al-Qaeda. The Qatar Centre for Voluntary Activity (QCVA), overseen by Abd al-Latif bin Abdullah al-Kuwari, participated in fundraising initiatives for radicals.
Abd al-Latif al-Kuwari, sanctioned by the U.S. and the UN in 2015, facilitated the travel of Al-Qaeda leaders to Qatar in the 2000s. He was involved in overseeing fundraising campaigns for Al-Qaeda in Syria and later worked in the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning in Qatar.
Collaborating with him was Salim Hasan Khalifa Rashid Al-Kuwari, identified by the U.S. Treasury Department for providing financial and logistical support to Al-Qaeda in Iran. He facilitated the travel of extremist recruits and held a position in the Ministry of Interior in Qatar's 'civil defense' sector, even after ties to terrorism were exposed.
