Overcome, he leaned a little over the side of their ride and plucked a flower – a red rose. He reached around to hand it to Marie, who flushed almost the same colour as the rose, before tucking it into her intricate hair, dark locks falling loose and framing her face.

Then they were zipping back up into the clouds. This time, it wasn’t so scary, though he still held her tightly.

‘Wow. Just…wow.’ It was crazy – like a whole new world, up here – a new, fantastic point of view.

I keep forgetting about finishing those notes for a TGAMM Aladdin AU… and yet I was reminded of the one scene I wanted to draw out above all else. (And in case it doesn’t make sense, I used inspiration from both the animated and live action versions of Aladdin. But a keen eye can tell which moments I copied from the animated version.)
