In anything that you're doing, they'll interrupt you for a moment to tell you they love you. They'll keep on telling you they love you until any shred of doubt that you might have of them loving you is nonexistent.

They need you to know that they love you, so that you know you can rely on them, trust in them, and that you know that you're never alone. Call them whenever you need help, go to them for comfort, use their shoulder to lean on because as they've said time and time again, they love you. And if it takes 1000 more times to show you, then so be it.

You've got to know how loved you are, how precious, and how valued you are. Especially when you're feeling low, they don't ever want you to forget that.

Heizou, Kaveh, Gorou, Thoma

They share a similar sentiment as those who like to say it all the time, but they're less overbearing about it in comparison. They'd usually make sure to say it before they leave or at the end of a conversation with you. In general, they're the types who would have no reservations when complimenting you, lifting you up, or expressing any of the adoration they have for you, which includes saying "I love you".

These guys will say "I love you" sparingly. They believe saying it too much diminishes its value, so they tend to preserve it for when they're feeling great emotion. Usually after having not seen you for a while, or when they're internally overwhelmed with joy over something pertaining to you, they'll say it.

It’s likely not going to be an outburst, like "I LOVE YOU!!" lol. It's rather a soft, "I love you", whispered in your ear as they hold you close, their fervor showing in the firmness of their embrace.

Almost never

Alhaitham, Dainsleif, Scaramouche, Cyno

Don't mistake their lack of saying the phrase as a lack of love for you. In truth, they love you terribly.

They are firm believers in showing it through their actions. To them, "I love you" doesn't mean much if their actions don't prove it. So they say "I love you" by being there for you, caring about you, listening to you, and in other numerous ways.

"I love you" is also a vulnerable phrase for them to say. Though, this doesn't mean that they won't say it at all. They'll say it when their hearts can no long carry the amount of love they hold for you inside. It'd come out of their mouths unexpectedly when they are swept up by overwhelming emotion.

Again, similar to those in the "rarely" category, their overwhelming emotions wouldn't come out as an outburst. Most of it is internal.

They'll be looking at you, eyes full of tenderness as their mind would be swirling with thoughts of how much they adored you. Lost in these thoughts, an "I love you" would subconsciously slip through their lips, earning a surprised look from you. It was only until then did they snap out of their thoughts and realize what they've done. And before they can brush it off and switch the topic, pleeease stop them and tell them "I love you" back. Heck, do whatever you can to savor this precious moment where they've finally expressed their innermost feeling because it's RARE.

THEMES. hurt; some of them are crack/fluff, some angst; a few arguments; reader is jealous and petty? Maybe, maybe not; a bit implied cheating on some; reader is kinda tipsy at kaeya’s part (i swear he’s the only one that has fluff)

NOTES. This is actually a request I received and it was specifically for lumine, so i made it that way. Also, i found it difficult to write dain for this for some reason so im sorry if he’s not included in this one. 

It was difficult to doubt ZHONGLI at first. Your trust in him was beyond anyone else, to be quite frank. There was no other reason for you to feel or think otherwise, after all. 

Rex Lapis’ death greatly affected the citizens of Liyue, and probably much more with the Funeral House that your lover was working at. You did not mind, as it was his work, after all. Even if it was at the expense of your daily tea-times, or even suppers. You could not even figure out if he had gone home last night if it were not for the soft thud of the door that had woken you up by the morning. You assumed that it was him, already ready for work and walking out so early, but it was unusual nonetheless. He never went to work unless he had woken you up first. 

And that was when you saw it. He was giving a Glazed Lily to someone else, and it was a traveler. 

You were not familiar with her, but you could certainly tell that she was someone who came from somewhere else with the unique look of her clothes. 

You felt you did not need to confront him at that moment, but when you just knew that this was going on repeatedly, you decided that it was time. 

When he had heard you out, he was calm—one thing you wished he was not at that time as it was difficult to determine whether he was calm because of the situation or it was just a facade he had always had. 

You received your first embrace from him at that time—you missed it, you realized; you missed his touch, his voice, his scent, and most especially the feeling of his his skin next to yours, the warmth it brought you and to quell the loneliness deep inside. 

“I apologize for worrying you, my beloved. My actions are unacceptable, please let me make it up to you.”

XIAO’s duty as an Adeptus of Liyue requires him his time—quite a lot of it. This was something you had known since the start and accepted wholeheartedly. Lately, however, something was amiss. For some reason, he had been more distant, probably at the same rate he had been when you two had first met—you were back to square one. 

“Xiao, is there something wrong?” You figured that it was something that he could not say to you and needed just a little push. If he did not really want to say it to you, you’d accept it either way. 

“It does not concern you.”

It was not exactly the first time you've heard this phrase from him, but this cold tone of his was a new thing. All over again, you almost forgot about it. But now it’s back. 

You’ve put on a smile and a facade at first, but as soon as you saw him with a woman standing on your regular place on the balcony, something spiralled inside of you. 

“Who is she?” Was the first thing you had asked him when it was just the two of you—which took a while, anyway, as their conversation had lasted far longer than you and he had for the last few days. 

“I thought I told you-“ 

“It does concern me,” you cut him off, then softening your voice, “you know you can rely on me too, right? Xiao?” 

Your voice broke as you spoke. He had heard it too and flinched. XIAO had never seen you this hurt, and his chest tightens at the thought that he had finally done it—he had finally hurt you, even if he did everything to not get you involved and hurt you physically. Of course, he could not handle that—he could not handle the thought of seeing you get hurt of him. 

But in the end, he still managed to do so, even unintentionally, it was unacceptable. 

He looks away, ashamed. Only one thought in mind. 

He did not deserve you. “How can I rely on you?” I cannot let you get hurt. His jaw clenches, muttering the words “What made you think I should rely on you? Or anyone else.” he whispered the last few words, but he was sure you heard them. 

And maybe he was too curious to see if you certainly had, if he had gotten his message to you that you will feel compelled to leave (which you should). 

Your frown told him that it was all ending, that it was crumbling right in front of his face and sooner than later, you would be far away from him—out of his reach, out of his sight, out of his mind.

But will you ever be?

Will the thought of you continue to haunt him even if you leave him? 

There was one way to find out, but his chest continue to tighten just by the thought of it.

VENTI is usually free. He rarely has “things to do” that do not involve you, actually. This time, it’s quite different, but you did not mind it at all—at first. 

That was until he said the words “I’ll be out with the traveler for a few days. So you won’t see me for a while!” He said it as if it was the most normal thing in the world, even adding a hint of a tune with it, which assured you that he was at least enjoying her company. 

But it did bother you. 

It bothered you until weeks passed by and until he went home one day; drunk and slurring every word he says. Actually, you did not mind this one bit—this is him, you’d known them since the start because this was also ironically how you met him first. 

You could only bitterly chuckle at yourself. 

But now he’s praising and preaching the good things that ‘Lumine’ had done in their trip, every single slur word that he had uttered that night was all full of her. And you could say you snapped at him for a moment, but nobody could blame you for walking out when he brushed you off. 

“Oh come on, don’t be a killjoy. We were just having fun.” 

Sure, he was drunk. Sure, it was the traveler—the very person who did so many legendary things that everyone praises her no matter where she is, you told yourself as you gritted your teeth and pursed your lips, but they say that people speak the truth when they’re drunk, right? Then maybe… 

Then maybe-

“Well, I hope you will have more fun with her, then.” You say, and when you pushed yourself up of your seat, you refused to look him in the eye and change your mind.

THOMA’s busier than usual—well, his schedule is always already full, but now it seems like he doesn't even have free time, especially for you. 

He was with the traveler, he was honest about that bit. You were glad that he was gleaming and smiling so bright, looking so excited at the prospect of being of help to Inazuma’s savior. 

This turned into worry and then turned into doubt. 

You never thought you’d ever doubt your lover, no, not even when you first had come to know him and even more. But maybe you were overreacting? Actually, you knew you could tell him anything and that he would reassure you that nothing was wrong or that he’d just been busy and that’s all. 

But it did not go exactly as you thought, did it? 

He was laughing nervously, and the moment he began speaking, you were already beyond uncertain whether the words that were coming out of his mouth were the truth. 

“We were just hanging out.” You briefly heard him, but the rest of his words did not register in your mind anymore, especially now that you were looking away, refusing to hear a single thing.

Now, this is rare. This is impossible, actually. What could the traveler and SCARAMOUCHE be doing for them to even be in the same place? All the more now when it has been a while since this has been going on. 

“It’s none of your business, get out of my way.” Was his response to you. Unfortunately for him, you were stubborn too. 

“I said get out of my way, Y/n.” He was glaring at you, and you would have moved away if you were not used to it. 

“Tell me why you’re hanging out with her at first. I know you’re hiding something from me.” It’s highly unusual for you to hang out with anyone, let alone one of your enemies. You bit your tongue before you could say more, afraid to fan the fire that was growing and growing by the second. 

But the fire had been lit, and there was no stopping it from spreading and shredding everything on its path. 

“My business is my business, don’t try to put words in my mouth!” Those were two different phrases, and you knew very well that if you pushed further, there would be no going back. 

But maybe it was not worth saving after all. 

“Very well, then,” you calmed yourself as you said, “You will not hear from me either.” 

“What-“

“My business is my business.” You turned around, unable to look him in the eye. “Goodbye, Balladeer.”

KAZUHA has been away for quite some time now. 

This is not new, but what was different was who he was with. 

You were made aware by him himself and probably all crew members who saw him and his companion that he was with the traveler. 

It was a simple thing, and the days merely passed by as if it was a maple leaf dancing and gliding through the air. You smiled to yourself, your thoughts suddenly being invaded by your lover once again. You find yourself with these thoughts a couple of times—you missed him, of course, but there was nothing else you could do but wait, and it was fine. 

Usually, you would have a random bird deliver a short letter or poem from KAZUHA, but so far, you’ve received no news and not a word from him nor any of the ones who were with him. Maybe they had encountered something dangerous or so? 

You were beginning to worry when you noticed someone you were familiar with—“Kazu-” You cut off your own voice when you see someone else running his way. And this was the first time you’ve seen her up close. 

And in short, she was beautiful. 

Is this the traveler they were talking about? If so, then why were you even here then? 

That was what you felt when you found yourself face to face with your lover at the end of that day. It was the first time he had come home for a few weeks—-maybe even a month. And all this time… he was with someone like the traveler? 

Confronting him was difficult. You knew he had been honest, and you knew that if you questioned him now, he would say nothing but the truth, no matter how hard it may be. But you did so anyway, no matter how both your heart and your mind told you not to, it just slipped right through your lips, and there was no going back. 

“Is that…. how you think that was?” You could hear a tone of hurt in his voice, and instantly, you regret your words. 

“I’m sorry, it was not my intention to make you feel like this.” He tries to reach out for your hand but he stops, his eyes searching yours for a moment until you yourself extend your arm and hold his hand. He then raises both your hands and places a brief but gentle kiss on its back.

KAEYA is mysterious, even before you even met him, and he also knew the traveler, acting very close to her even. You knew it right from the start and it did not bother you for one second. 

But that second appeared all of a sudden in the form of a drunken situation. 

In the end, it did bother you, and KAEYA finds himself being confronted by you, who had spilled all the beans (your rants) to him one night when he had brought you to Angel’s Share with him after finally coming home from a month-long “mission” with the traveler. 

His lips quirk on the side, but anyone could tell that he was debating whether he should answer you or not—not that there was anyone else who was watching the two of you… except for his brother who was glaring at him after listening to your rants. 

He awkwardly chuckles and tries to place his hand on your shoulders, wanting to usher you and him out for you two to discuss this at home, not with his brother judging him at the side. 

“Come on, Y/n… let’s-”

“No, I want to know now.” 

He found you cute even in this situation that he wanted to pinch your nose. He eases up and sighs, unable to stop himself from pinching your nose very lightly, so as to not agitate you further. 

“Babe, you know I love you right? But I don’t think you’ll be able to very clearly remember this tomorrow so you should completely sober up first before I make it up to you.”

It’s quite odd for you to not see ITTO at least minutes or hours apart. Sometimes, he does go far away to atend to his “gang leader duties” but he always comes back whenever he says so. 

This time is different. 

You were beginning to worry over nothing when he came home one day, but with a big smile and his arm slumped over someone—you recognized her. You’ve seen her once but-

You raised a brow. 

“Are you wasting the traveler’s precious time now, Itto?” you glared at him, frowning, “You could have just asked for my help, you know! I’m sure the traveler has a busy schedule!” 

To say that ITTO was bewildered when he heard this was an understatement. It was a good thing Paimon was not there or she could’ve definitely laughed at him! Who would’ve thought that his own lover (you) would side with the traveler instead of him!

“But babe~” he whined, “I’ll be wasting your precious time then!” 

He was frowning and looking at you like a puppy, and you still frowned at him, only to give up and sigh, spreading your arms (like you would whenever you prompt him to come and hug you). 

“You better have some explaining to do, oni.”

Most of the time, it was GOROU who seeks you. He’s not clingy (in public, that is) but he does want to see you and check in on you every once in a while. 

However, the situation has reversed, for some reason. 

You were confused at first, but when Kokomi informed you that he was with the traveler, you were relieved to think that he was at the very least safe.

Your mind was so filled with thoughts that you did not see yourself bumping into the very people you were thinking about—both him and the traveler. Lumine walks away the moment she saw you. You ere thankful for that, but now you were stuck in an awkward situation with your boyfriend who had not even hugged you for the last 24 hours. 

Your arms crossed as you looked at him, and as if it was instinct (it probably was) his ears drooped as soon as he saw your glare at him. 

“Y/n?” You swore you heard him stutter, “Why… why are you looking at me like that? Did I do something wrong?” 

You bit your lip, debating whether you should really tell him or not, but in the end, you did. 

His eyes widened, and at the same time, his ears shot up (his tail too). He had his hands stiff in the air, as if he wanted to reach out but was forcing himself not to. 

“W-What?! I… I wasn’t spending more time with you because of…” he trails off, “But I…” then his ears dropped once again. “But I… I thought you were getting sick of me so… I tried not to pester you for a while… we’re not really busy, but I was helping the traveler out to spend my time at least doing something. But I still miss you and I want to hug you right now, but I can't. I'm already doing well…” 

He continued whining and your jaw fell all the more as he did so. You caught yourself, but by the time you did, he was still talking about something you can’t even register anymore with how he was muttering and eating the words. 

In the end, you hugged your boy in defeat and cuddled him all night, reassuring him that this wil be the last time this should ever happen.

DILUC is a busy man, which is why this occurrence is not that new to you. 

Of course, he has the Winery, he protects Mondstadt as well. 

But now… he has been spending far more time with the traveler that you wondered if this was also something you should look forward to in the future. 

Before, it was just the Winery and Mondstadt and now, the traveler too? 

Of course, it was a petty way of thinking. But you were seriously beginning to forget what he even looked like with how many weekly dates were postponed and you’re too tired of seeing Charlie in Angel’s Share, hoping to at least get a peak of your lover if he comes by the place. 

He never did. 

But the day he did so, he was with the traveler (again). 

Now this was suspicious—utterly so that Kaeya was exchanging glances at you the moment they entered the tavern. It was actually him who confronted DILUC in front of you when he had come by the table. 

You were grateful to him until he says “Y/n was beginning to look like an utter loner here that I cannot help but have a drink with them.” 

You glared at Kaeya and he raises both of his hands up, “Woah, you two look so scary, alright, I’ll back out.” 

You turned to your lover and caught him still glaring at his brother. As much as you’d like to admire his physique, however, you sighed heavily, catching his attention and his eyes softening all of a sudden. 

“Do you have something to say?” You were too exhausted to even deal with it—maybe you stress yourself too much? Well, at least he looked well, even if there were bags under his eyes. He did not look injured, and that alone you're grateful for. 

You heard the dragging of a chair and you found him sitting in front of you, brows and forehead knitted. Was something bothering him? If only you had the energy to reach out and unknot his forehead with your thumb-

“I’m sorry.” Was what he said first. And though he was unable to look into your eyes, you could tell that he was trying his best. “I didn't mean to make you feel… like this.” He briefly bit his lip before he looked up at you, “It may be difficult to forgive me… but… will you?” He clears his throat, “Will you forgive me?”

CHILDE does not usually spend his free day without you. Thus, it was quite a surprise that he was ‘bonding’ with the traveler when he was supposedly spending them with you. Not that you minded in the first few days, you figured that they just had things that they needed to sort out or a mission that he was just trying to assist the traveller with. He was not one to back down a challenge. 

And apparently, you were too. 

“What? You were… sparring with her?” 

“Of course! The traveler’s a very good opponent, it is an opportunity I can’t miss.” Then, he looks at you with amusement lingering in his eyes, “What? Do you think you could spar with me next time?” 

You frowned and crossed your arms. “Why not? I thought you liked sparring with me?” 

“But did you not also tell me that you were too busy? And you were getting tired from sparring with me? 

You sighed heavily, hand going up to your head to your temple. Of course, it was your fault. He cannot just lose, can he? 

“But… the traveler?” 

“What? Why? What’s wrong with the traveler?” You were about to answer when you saw the mocking smile on his lips that suddenly appeared ever so slowly you could only gawk in disbelief. “Why? Are you jealous? ARE YOU-“ 

“Of course not!” You exclaimed as you went and lunged at his mouth covering them with your hands frantically, afraid someone would hear him. 

“U sho thotally or!” He speaks (even if it was muffled, at least he tried and was still trying). For now, you’ve completely forgotten about your problem with him that you could only drag him away from the other Fatui members who were snickering at the display. 

You cannot just lose like this.

AYATO’s plans are one thing you are very well acquainted with. Of course, with someone as scheming or knowledgable as him, you were already used to it. At first, seeing him with the traveler is of course very reasonable. He meets a lot of people, and the traveler has been very helpful not only to your lover but also to all of Inazuma, which includes you. There is no reason to be jealous or feel anything negative towards them and how AYATO seems to be spending most of his time with them now. 

You’ve let those thoughts away from your mind. 

But it gets harder as another day passes by you could not help but ask him about it. It was just brought up ever so lightly, but you could tell that he was avoiding it. Oh, he definitely was. 

“Whatever do you mean? It was just a commission and I employed the traveler, there is no need to fret, love.” 

You could tell that this was not exactly the truth. You’ve been with him for a long time that you had gotten used to his mannerisms and habits—this was nothing to you. 

“You better tell me the truth, Kamisato.” You narrowed your eyes at him, making sure ot make clear that this was not something that should be brushed off easily. 

But… he still relented. 

“I promise you, that is the truth, Y/n.” 

“Then, the entire truth.” 

He hesitates. “I don’t think I should… love… I… Let us just say this is a plan for something big.” He did not look remorseful, nor anything related to that. Contrary to that, his lips were quirked to the side and his eyes were narrowed like one of a fox—which was usually an ‘indicator’ for you when he was planning something rather mischievous or huge. 

You raised a brow. Now, this is unexpected. You were sure you had already caught him but… maybe for a different reason? 

Wait… when was your anniversary anyway? Was this a plan for… 

Oops.

ALBEDO would either have done so unconsciously or it was something that he planned. Most likely, he did it unconsciously, as he is someone who is not very well in tune with his feelings, and human emotions are one thing that he is not very good at reading or “feeling”. 

He frowns after hearing your concerns. Time likely flowed ever so slowly for you when it was different for him. Work and the traveler took his time from you, and he could tell you were displeased by your words and the hurt expression on your face. This expression—he disliked it. 

It was unforgivable of him to make you feel this pain. “Forgive me, my love,” he finds himself reaching out for your hand, and kissing your wrist, almost unconsciously, “it seems I have underestimated emotions once again. What should I do to make up for you? Tell me, and I shall make it happen.”

Kaeya

Kaeya loves to tease you. So much that he'll act so oblivious, to the point where he makes you literally tell him exactly what you want him to do to you. He'll sometimes act a little patronising when you get frustrated. Be ready for irritating foreplay before he becomes the one who gets needy. He's so eager to please once that happens

Diluc

Diluc will either be gentle and restrained or completely feral without realising it. He's got a pretty average, maybe slightly low sex drive so it takes a little for him to drift into that sort of mood. That's usually seeing you in all your elegant glory or getting into some sort of altercation with Kaeya or the Abyss. If he's gentle you'll get a huge amount of compliments and praise- his hands will not miss an inch of your skin as he worships it. If he's angry he won't take it out on you with words or any sort of degradation. Most of the time his actions become harsher- his thrusts get faster and harsher, and he might even leave fingerprint bruises on your hips if it was a particularly stressful day.

Venti

Venti can be pretty insatiable- usually at the most inconvenient times. He'll try his luck anywhere he can get away with. That includes but is not limited to: the top branches of the tree at Windrise, the huge statue of him in Mondstadt, and the vineyard at Dawn Winery. He's showy if you're into it. He's sort of playful about it, he'll be giggling and grinning while you both try to stay quiet.

Albedo

Albedo has a very low sex drive, so I feel he'd only ever be in the mood if you bring it up. He's also very curious about what things you like the most. He intends to explore every part of your body to see how it works. He remembers all of these places too so that he knows how to better satisfy you. One of his favourites is just having you on his lap while he works in Dragonspine because it keeps you both warm and unites you both in a way he absolutely cannot get enough of.

Xiao

Xiao seems like the type to accidentally break the bed during sex. Not because he's rough but because he's gripping the headboard to keep himself from hurting you. He tries to be gentle with you but it doesn't always work and sometimes he ends up losing the battle and wakes up tangled in the sheets with your hips and neck covered in bruises and hickeys.

Tartaglia

diluc is confused. very confused, in fact. were you not up for any interactions? but he sees you conversing casually with sara from good hunter. that couldn’t be it. but diluc is… just very confused. he’d question what was happening, trying to piece your recent behavior together with the one you have now.

Notes: Bullet imagine. Nothing suggestive or scandalous lmao. I just find comfort in sleeping amongst all my pillows sometimes and I can’t imagine how comforting it would be to sleep with a pryo vision holder who owns a winery!!! I decided not to do all the younger boys just because these are considered romantic relationships. I also am unsure of how old Gorou is, but I see him as being a bit older than Xingqui or Bennett. If he’s not though and y’all think it’d be best to remove his part from this, I will do so. Sorry for not posting in forever btw. Hopefully I’ll be able to write more and post more since summer break is here! I got excited to post this lol so I apologize if there’s any mistakes or anything. I hope you guys enjoy!!

Ayato:

I think Ayato, with his prestige role in Inazuma, probably seems like he wouldn’t care much for cuddles at bedtime. He’s just too prim and proper for that.

Top secret information, though, he does! He cares so much for them hehe

He just loves it when you curl up next to him, with your head on his chest and his arm wrapped around you so he can rub comforting circles on your abdomen or play with your hair if he wants.

When you wake up in the morning and it’s a bit chilly inside, he just loves it when you get as close to him as you can.

He normally wakes up earlier than you, so while you continue sleeping, he’ll patiently wait for you to wake up so he can give you all the good morning kisses you deserve.

Honestly, after a long day of dealing with Yashiro Commissioner things, he just can’t wait to hold you all night long. Sometimes when he wakes up, he’s already anticipating for the night to come so he can hold you close and tell you how much he loves you.

Childe:

More often than not, he’s not exactly present at home since he’s doing Fatui things. You’ve gotten accustomed going to bed alone, unfortunately.

That’s why Childe is more inclined to spoon you when he finally comes home.

It’ll be the dead of night when he quietly sneaks his way into your little cottage in Snezhnaya. The bitter cold outside was just starting to nip at him, so all he had on his mind was getting in bed with you.

He’d walk into the bedroom with soft footsteps, having already discarded of his boots at the front door along with the rest of his belongings. You’d be fast asleep, as expected, on your designated side of the bed as you snuggled a pillow beside you. Sometimes Childe wondered if you always slept on your side of the bed, hoping each night for his long-awaited return.

Carefully, Childe would climb in bed beside you and wrap an arm around you to draw you closer to him as gently as he could without disturbing you.

It wouldn’t ever take long for him to fall asleep. Between being exhausted after being away on a mission to being in your soft, comforting presence, it was impossible to not drift off into one the best sleeps he’ll ever have.

Diluc:

Chances of you actually going to bed with Diluc at the same time was pretty much half and half. Sometimes he’d be at home and accompany you to bed. Sometimes he’d had to be at Angel’s Share late and you wouldn’t see him until the morning. And then sometimes, he’d go to bed with you, but you’d wake up late in the night to find him gone on some Darknight Hero mission.

(He’d never forgive the Traveler for starting that nickname.)

Because of this, he’d settle for spooning you since if he had to leave, he could do so without bothering you much and when he came back, it would be easy to resume.

The only downside was that when he left, the extra warmth he seemed to radiate because of his vision would leave too, leaving you to get a little cold whenever he left. Normally, this wouldn’t be enough to wake you up right away.

If you did happen to wake up when Diluc was leaving, though, it was hard for him to not stay. He had such a soft spot for you, if you gave him just one little pouty look, he’d be getting back in bed before you could even ask.

Oh, but his cuddles are always the best. In comparison to you, his stature and build is much larger, so it’s like having a nice, bear hug constantly.

It was always a challenge getting up in the morning since neither one of you wanted to leave the other.

Gorou:

You and Gorou are all over each other at bedtime.

You spoon him, he spoons you, he cradles you, you cradle him – it’s just a tossup, honestly. There’s not preference, as long as you two are with each other and comfortable.

He’s normally tired at the end of the day after doing all his general duties, so it’s not hard for him to just find a spot amongst the blankets and pillows with you and be perfectly content.

If it’s within easy reach, yes, you will brush his tail hehe. He acted super embarrassed about it at first, even though you two are dating. He didn’t view you in the same way as Yae Miko on this sort of thing, but he did feel anxious about you knowing this about him! He was okay with you knowing his secrets, of course, but this!! He was a general, for archon’s sake! He couldn’t let people know he enjoyed his tail being brushed!

Well, except you now. Because you knew exactly how he liked it and it was you!! He loves you!! Please, brush his tail!!

Just… don’t tell anyone… for his sake.

Kazuha:

For starters, if you and Kazuha are on a voyage on the Crux, you both just have to squeeze in somewhere to occupy what little space is available on the ship. There was really no set “position” as long as you two could sleep comfortably in those conditions.

However, whenever the ship was docked and you two were staying in Liyue Harbor for a little bit, you could take up as much room as possible!

You two would definitely take advantage of this opportunity and spread out in the inn’s bed as much as you possibly could.

At least he would. Kazuha would sprawl out like a little starfish, with one arm out to the side while the other would be underneath his head and his legs outstretched. The free arm would be your invitation to cuddle him hehe

You’d fill in the space next to him, either facing him or not since both worked just fine. If you faced him, his free arm would wrap around you to hold you to him while an arm and leg of yours would drape across his body. If you faced away, the free arm would just be a little pillow for you and yes, it would definitely be numb in the morning but that didn’t matter! As long as you were happy hehe

Kaeya:

One thing you didn’t expect from Mondstadt’s heartthrob was how punctual he was to bed. Not that Kaeya had a specific bedtime, but if you were going to bed, he was, too. It was endearing, really. You didn’t have to wait up for him and the nights where he wasn’t at home all night, he’d somehow always return right when you were getting ready for bed. He just knows, ya know.

Most of the time, you lay beside him with your head on his chest and an arm around his torso. Kaeya would rate this a 9 out of 10 for reasons he wouldn’t disclose, but you were sure one point was deducted just because he couldn’t easily give you kisses like that.

However, some nights this wasn’t the case. Sometimes, after having one too many to drink that night, he’d find a comfy spot in the bed beside you, wrap his arms around you and rest his head in the crook of your neck.

He’d place sloppy kisses on your exposed skin, chuckling a little to himself for no reason. You’d chide him for drinking too much to which he’d reply with, “You’re so cute when you lecture me,” before hiccupping. “You’re just the cutest,” he’d slur and a soft sigh exhaled across your skin would signal to you that he was finally asleep and wouldn’t be waking up until late the next day.

Itto:

Not exactly sure why, but Itto insists that you sleep on top of him. Not that you’re complaining. It was rather comfortable.

Since your head would be on his chest, you could hear his heartbeat clearly, which always lulled you to sleep very quickly. His arms would wrap around you in a nice hug.

Yeah, good luck trying to get up or leave. Itto was not letting that happen.

And it’s not like you could leave without waking him up. He was a light sleeper, so the slightest move would cause him to stir. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

Your only fear was if he rolled over, which hasn’t happened yet, but you always have that little thought in your head. At this point, it’s just an irrational fear of yours.

Oh, and whereas this sleeping position of y’all’s might warrant some chuckles, the Arataki gang does not even pretend like they’re amused by this.

Itto will definitely challenge them to an all or nothing onikabuto fight. You’re not sure what the “all or nothing” implies, but you know Itto’s pretty harmless, so you assume it’s nothing bad.

At least… you hope it’s not.

Thoma:

Thoma is always exhausted when it’s time for bed! He’s been doing all sorts of stuff for the Kamisato household and now that there’s a new outlander in town, he’s been dealing with that, too.

So when you two are in bed, he clings to you, wrapping his arms around you and placing his head on your chest. He just wants to take it easy before he has to do it all again tomorrow.

On the days where he’s not exhausted and yearning for your touch after a stressful day, the roles are reversed. But when is this man not running all over Inazuma helping out whoever he can?

(And when he is not yearning for you? Hello, this man is head over heels for you!)

Sometimes you wish he’d just sit still and take a day off, but you know that’s not going to happen. No matter how many times you and the Kamisato siblings tell him it’s okay to slow down, he just can’t. But, you have to admit, when he winds down for the night and is all snuggly and warm, you do love those moments just as much as when he’s not falling asleep as soon as his head hits the pillows.

And when you play his hair!! Yes, please!! Braid it, tie it up, give him silly hair do’s – he loves it!! Literally helps him get to sleep faster.

Albedo:

Albedo rarely went to bed with you. He’d always be up late, taking notes or continuing an experiment he was working on until it was finished or completed enough to his satisfaction.

The times he would go to bed with you, he’d stay up with his nose deep in a book while you laid at his lap, sleeping peacefully.

The times he wouldn’t go to bed with you, though, would be much different, as expected.

He wouldn’t want to wake you up, since he knew sleep was important (to everyone except him, apparently), so he’d settle for just occupying the space beside you. He’d make no move to touch you, afraid the slightest movement would cause you to stir.

He’d fall asleep with his back to you on the opposite side of the bed, only to wake up in the morning with you spooning him.

Or, on other occasions, he’d wake up face to face with you in the center of the bed, hands intertwined between the both of you.

He had no preference, really, but he was starting to think being spooned was one of the best things in life.

Scaramouche:

Would insist on sleeping back-to-back. You expected as much, but you kind of wished Scara would at least make an attempt at physical affection.

But he did! Just in secret hehe.

He’d wait until you fell asleep to roll over and spoon you and after a while, he’d drape an arm over your torso to hold you closer to him.

Sometimes you’d be awake to witness this and would smile to yourself, not understanding why he couldn’t do this when he thought you were awake. You had been together long enough anyways, so it wouldn’t be a surprise for you to see him affectionate.

Unfortunately, it was starting to be a surprise when he was affectionate since it was so rare. Maybe he was just trying to keep you on your toes…

Nevertheless, you’d both fall asleep like that, and sometime during the night, his hand would slip underneath the shirt you wore to rest comfortingly on your stomach.

You can guarantee that this display of affection would be gone in the morning. He always woke up before you, so by the time you stirred, he’d already be up and out of bed, leaving no sign of any cuddles.

Xiao:

Just trying to get Xiao to sleep with you was a battle. You knew as a yaksha he didn’t need to sleep and he wouldn’t, but just trying to convince him to at least pretend was like talking to a wall.

It wasn’t until you told him that it’d help comfort you at night since you were wary of being alone sometimes. He couldn’t just leave you to yourself then, right?

He was definitely super rigid at first. Not only had he no experience with this sort of thing, he felt awkward being in this position. He settled for just sitting beside you and to make him feel better, you let him (though one day you were going to get him to cuddle you!).

He’d be sitting up, his legs outstretched in front of him while you laid beside him with your head in his lap. For the first couple of weeks, his arms were either crossed in front of his chest or out beside him. But he slowly got comfortable with touching you.

He’d gently stroke your hair as you slept or place a comforting hand on your arm.

The only downside to all of this was if and when he had to leave during the night to protect Liyue. He’d try his best to slip out of the bed as quietly as possible, but he could never do it just right and leave you awake and saying quiet goodbyes to him. Those were always the worst.

Zhongli:

Ideally, Zhongli would like to spoon you when bedtime rolled around.

However, most of the time, you’d end up sprawled across his legs or curled up in his lap as he told you endless stories to help you sleep.

Don’t get me wrong, he enjoyed this just as much. Sometimes he wondered, though, if the reason you always fell asleep during these times was because you thought he was boring. This was not true, as you quite enjoyed his stories.

But, since he’d tell you them when you were sleepy and curled up next to him and his deep voice just gave you a wonderful sense of comfort, you couldn’t help but doze off when he’d tell you some little snippet of Liyue’s history.

The position would be similar to that of you and Xiao’s, though, Zhongli would not be uncomfortable with holding you or running his fingers through your hair. That, and you weren’t exactly always confined to his side. Sometimes you’d laid out across his legs, as said before, in between them, or even just sitting up next to him with your head on his shoulder.

It really didn’t matter to Zhongli, though. As long as you were getting a good night’s sleep, he was content.

Venti:

Just lots and lots of cuddles honestly. You and Venti are just very loving toward each other, so bedtime is just full of cuddles.

It can range from spooning to just holding each other, to whatever y’all are feeling at the moment. I feel like y’all would mostly settle for just holding each other tight, face-to-face so you can pepper kisses on each other cheeks when needed hehe.

(According to Venti, they’re always needed.)

Venti is away a lot due to his free spirit, so when he comes home to you, you both want to spend as much time as possible with each other.

So pretty much you’re both just in each other’s arms until he leaves again.

I think like Xiao, though, when the time to leave comes, it’s always heartbreaking since he can’t even leave without you waking up since you’re both so close and tightly embraced. Sorrowful goodbyes are whispered to each other, and small kisses planted all over your face before he departs.

He never wants to leave, but sometimes he has to. But you know he’ll always be back sometime. The constant breeze flowing through your open windows during all hours of the day lets you know as much.

Aether:

Being Aether’s travelling companion has gotten you used to staying in weird inns and small tents pitched in the middle of nowhere. Before spending your time with him, you definitely wouldn’t have been able to live like this, or even if you were alone. Between Aether’s comforting presence and Paimon’s comedic relief, the otherwise uncomfortable trips were made pleasant to you.

Aether knew you were a bit timid when it came to new places. After meeting you during his stay in Mond, he asked you to accompany him on his travels to other places. You were very apprehensive, since you had never left Mondstadt before. But Aether reassured you that nothing bad would happen to you on his watch, and Paimon said she’d beat him up if he did let something bad happen to you. Nonetheless, you were welcomed to his travelling team with open arms!

With you being so nervous in new areas where danger seemed to lurk around every corner, you couldn’t help but always curl up right beside the blonde when nightfall came around. You’d have your head on his chest and an arm holding him to you – not out of force but out of reassurance he was still there and hadn’t left you.

Sometimes Aether opted to sleep on his side, in which case your head would be underneath his chin and your body close to his, each with an arm loosely around each other.

Sometimes, you’d be embarrassed by your display of affection when the morning came, but Aether’s good morning kisses always reassured you that he enjoys every second of your company.
