Finally got around to drawing @doritopaw101’s firestar, icefire! sorry the design isnt exact! I had to tone down my brightness a bit since my eyes are super sensitive to brighter colors like the pink with white aoughhf

If i can confess, i had backed off from this au for awhile because it had situations i was super uncomfortable with and how it was dealt with but im finally opening up my arms again since im pretty sure its being written over? Idk but i like this little freak kitty

For this project, I have decided to use 9 gene types going in this order:

Coat color; Black, Brown

Whether a cat is diluted or not; Diluted, No

Whether a cat is ginger or not; Ginger, Not ginger

Whether a cat has stripes or not; Stripes, No stripes

Whether a cat is solid or not (if a cat is an albino, a colorpoint etc); Solid, Colorpoint, Albino

Fur lenght; Long, Short

Whether a cat has white or not; White, No white

Whether a cat is fully white or not: Full, Not full

Whether a cat has a silver gene (it makes the coat look shinier); Silver, No silver

I know that there are many genes that decide what kind of stripe a cat will have but when I first started this project with all of those stripes, it was too much.

I was gonna make albino + Smudge alts for him but. I’ve picked up some sort of bug so I’m sick T^T not enough energy to make the alts; maybe later!

Design notes:

I’ve always kind of thought that solely black cats are kind of… plain?? Even if they’ve got the descriptors of the one white paw + the ice blue eyes, it’s still kind of boring. SO!! Lykoi Scourge for the win!!!

Same eyebrow + ear shape as my Firestar design have :D

Amongst many Scourge designs, I see a bunch of alternate decorations for the guy and I’m obsessed with that, so!! Scourge gets a harness, plus little bracelets that formerly belonged to his victims; I like to think that it takes the teeth and claws of their victims and studs them through the stolen collars.

I personally hate that the Erins put dog teeth as BloodClan’s weapons; it would be much more effective if it had been glass, or even talons, or heck even discarded Twoleg blades! But I wanted to keep some semblance of canon’s design, so the teeth at Scourge’s claws are dog’s T^T

The eyes were inspired by @fridaystar’s design, with most of the accessories being inspired by @scourge-sympathiser’s design!

1. Jayfeather is what's called a blue-ginger point which basically means that a ginger cat only produces eumelanin or gray/black/brown fur on their points. I moddled him after an eurasian jay.

2. Hollyleaf is shorthaired and albinistic.

3. Tried to give sol solar eclipse colors, like a tortoiseshell cat but up and to the left. Also his pupils are dark purple-ish.

4. Firestar is a golden burmese cinnamon ticked tabby with lots of rufousing.

5. I changed her eye color to be brighter and added a name tag to her collar.

6. Idk if it's canon or fanon but moonlight being a main coon is pretty popular. And if you've never seen a main coon compared to a normal short/long-haired domestic cat, well tigerstar would probably only reach her shoulder if that. Wouldn't surprise me if main coons were bigger then some foxes. (Anyways all this to say tree/rootspring/needleclaw should all also be BIG)

You got the problems pretty covered for the most part (coming from someone who practically owns the albino firestar tag now /j)

Other things to consider

They do tend to have immune system issues and prone to different health problems. Pretty susceptible to illness or immunodeficiency.

Clumsiness, have pretty bad depth perception

Dove could be teased for having two left paws and might’ve been held back from her ceremony a moon or so due to illness.

Maybe Dove was babied cuz she was ‘weaker’

Maybe Ivypool feels jealous towards Dove for her special treatment due to her condition too..

Also Ivy could exell at training while Dove has more issues, and Ivy is upset that Falcon and Jay (a healer from another order!) have taken her under their wing!
