these two just... oh man. they are vulnerable with each other. they are spies for a living and yet they show weakness to each other and i just like. argh. can you imagine.

bobbi is so strong, around EVERYONE, and hunter is the ONE she feels like she can let that guard down around. hunter grins and jokes and does his job but with bobbi he's quieter, he admits to his mistakes without hesitation, he ASKS HER TO LEAVE SHIELD AND RUN AWAY WITH HIM. WITH HER HE FEELS LIKE A BETTER PERSON. AAA

they're those characters who would be fundamentally different without the other and i just. i love them. i love their bickering. i love their inside jokes. i cannot imagine a universe where they haven't known each other for a million years and hurt the other deeper than anyone ever has. i want to see their wedding.

9 and 10 - favorite and least favorite aspects of their dynamic - for OTP of your choice (tho lbr you'll probably do Dousy)

I mean, you definitely know me. OTP of choice will always be Dousy hahaha.

Favorite aspects: They balance each other out really well. Sousa is super supportive but still trusts Daisy to do her thing. Daisy trusts Sousa to be there for her. They just work well together.

Least favorite aspects: That we didn’t get more of them. That’s kind of side stepping the question but also kind of not? We really only got shown the best parts of them because that’s all the show had time for.

Top 5 Jamie/Claire moments? (i don't even go here but i want you to haave fun squealing)

this is so hard to narrow down i have so many moments i love so much shkhfdhj but im gonna say

1. when claire tells jamie that she’s from the future and he just believes her and then takes her back to the stones so she can go home even though he doesnt want to part with her but then she chooses to stay bc she can’t leave him behind. literally my fav moment of them all i think

2. when he knows she’s pregnant before she even says anything to him abt it bc he’s so in tune with her and knows her so well and can pick up on all the little details. in the middle of this bloody war you kept track!!!!!!!! im gonna scream!!!!!!!

3. when they’re on the cliffside just like holding hands and jamie asks if what’s between them is usual in a relationship and claire says it isn’t and that it’s different,,,,,,,,,, the soulmates of it all

4. when he’s gonna sleep outside her room to protect her from the drunk men on the floor below and she hands him the blanket and they have the hand touch™️

5. “when the day shall come that we do part, if my last words are not ‘i love you’ ye’ll ken it’s because I didna have time” bc that’s one of my absolute favorite quotes of the series and it still makes me completely fucking feral every time i see it

send me two characters and i’ll talk about their dynamic!

daisy and hunter fascinate me, because they are SO similar and canon has NEVER explored it? i think they both fall back on their personal relationships when in times of stress. hunter has his four (4) people -- bobbi, mack, izzy, idaho -- and no one else. daisy has a slightly larger circle -- when we see her at the height of her trust issues, s2, she has like six close people + a handful of others who are tentatively trustworthy -- but at her core, just like hunter, she's suspicious of large, faceless organizations.

i think it would've been cool to see them connect over that! and also talk about why they're still different. because although daisy is suspicious of large organizations like hunter, she's more of an idealist than he is, although she probably wouldn't admit it. she believes in people working together, even if she doesn't know them, as long as everyone gets a say in what's going on. decentralized leadership is very much her style.

hunter, coming from the military, is much more cynical about how decentralized leadership can really be. and he's right! but so is daisy.

anyway i think they appreciate how snarky the other is and enjoy making dumb bets. in canon, they never really got to the point of being close friends, but i think they each still realized how uncomfortably similar they were. they're probably the two members of the main cast most likely to have met outside the circumstances of the show. daisy would remind hunter what it's like to believe in something, and hunter would remind daisy how to be confident in herself (especially after her hacker boyfriend whose name completely escapes me).

AL!!! Oh man, buckle up for this one.

So my current AoS WIP is a multi-chapter Dousy fic that I’ve decided to call Parallel Line. It’s this no powers AU where Daisy is a ballet dancer and Sousa is an artist and they stumble upon each other and start this undefined relationship based around their busy schedules and insane chemistry.

Daisy’s auditioning for SHIELD Dance Academy’s biggest upcoming show and she’s pouring all of herself into it, right? She’s new to the Academy and she’s got a lot to prove, especially to her instructor May, but things get complicated when the mother who abandoned her as a kid shows up looking for some redemption.

Basically it’s this sweet, angsty, smutty fic that explores a lot of Daisy’s neurotic tendencies and her abandonment issues, and Sousa’s road to moving on from his own setbacks. I am so so so excited to write it and basically it’s consumed my brain for weeks (seriously, ask @pasmonblog, she’s heard aaaaallllll about it)
