they’re dimming the street lights! you’re perfect for me! why aren’t you here tonight!? i’m waiting alone now! so come on! and come out! and shine! shine! SHINE!
I’m feeling something. Like I’m hypnotized,
A dizzying distant brilliance.
A power that draws me into the fog—
A blue even hotter than fire.
A mind of its own, it dances and disappears.
I’ll like it, I’ll like it like that.
The chaotic blue light becomes dazzling, oh.
Burn hotter, until it burns to the touch.
An unknown unfurling beyond the boundaries, to the edge.
The once-tedious days are quite beautiful.
Now that I’m burning, I can’t stop my desire.
Will-o'-the-wisp, babe.
Oh baby, it's blue flame.
Will-o'-the-wisp, babe.
That, that, that is faction.
Will-o'-the-wisp, babe.
Oh baby, it's blue flame.
Will-o'-the-wisp, babe.
That, that, that is faction.
A veil trapped in unknown fear, this darkness,
Leaves my sight to glow.
Whether something lies beyond,
It’s nothing but blue curiosity.
Crumbling limit, the feeling is so thrilling.
It penetrates deep inside me.
Drawn in from the moment I saw it,
Inside the mysteriously colored light,
Like I was waiting for it, now I’m burning.
Brilliantly shine.
"'Mr. Perfectly Fine' is a song that I wrote alone. It was definitely an early indicator of me sort of creeping towards a pop sensibility. You know, I've always listened to every type of music and even though 'Fearless' is a country album, there were always these pop melodies creeping in. But I really love this song and I love the bridge, I think the lyrics are just wonderfully scathing and full of the teen angst that you would hope to hear on an album that I wrote when I was seventeen or eighteen or you know, on that cusp."

Making friendship posters for all the albums, Starting with my favourite album folklore. (no idea why Tumblr demolished my quality rip). Which album should I do next ?
"Fearless was just, that was the type of song that as soon as I wrote this song, I knew it would be the title track for the album. You know, it was about, sort of fearlessly falling in love and not caring if you're going to get hurt but it kind of encapsulated, you know, the way I was sort of moving through life at that point. I was just sort of hurling myself into these situations and making this album in a way that hoped for the best and disregarded what could happen if it all went terribly wrong.
It went out into the world and I got to see, you know, teenage girls and young kids and, and moms and dads and grandparents holding signs that said 'Fearless', and it was just the kind of purest, joyful message for everyone, I think, for us all to feel like we could try to live our lives fearlessly. And you know, you could take that and it could mean what it meant to you, specifically. This song, however, you know I just wanted to write a song about the best possible first date ever, and so, that's what we did."
