(Duckapus's writing about Dopple going to Nimbus's world got me inspired to talk about it tbh)
Age System
Pretty obvious that children are referred to as kits. But newborns are typically called kindles. (A litter of cats is called a kindle, but I don't really think they'd use those terms tbh.)
Newborns are called kindles until they're about 5 years old, and then they're referred to as kits until around 17~18. It really depends on where you're at in the world.
Harmonia
There are 10 kingdoms in the continent of Harmonia. The continent is extremely large, enough to fit all the kingdoms, and the environments vary depending on where each kingdom is located.
The kingdom of Luminos, ruled by Queen Melody.
The kingdom of Magnamiel, ruled by King Bolero.
The kingdom of Devos, ruled by King Umbra.
The kingdom of Ethil, ruled by Queen Alina.
The kingdom of Cilcia, ruled by Queen Tawny.
The kingdom of Fyn, ruled by Queen Eloria.
The kingdom of Stagnus, ruled by King Magnus.
The kingdom of Monaxiá, ruled by King Albin.
The kingdom of Lais, ruled by King Royle.
The kingdom of Desiderio, ruled by Queen Fluerette.
Monaxiá and Desiderio are two kingdoms that no one has heard from since their respective rulers took the throne. The two had been embroiled in war for decades beforehand due to land disputes over mountains and taigas that border their kingdoms. Once their new rulers came to power, the war was stopped, and no one has heard from them since.
Queen Melody is incredibly respected by all the other monarchs since she took down her father's paranoid and tyrannical rule, along with her siblings. No one wanted to imagine what would have happened if any of them took power.
The kingdom of Ehtil is the center of trading, as the kingdom borders a good part of the ocean and they have a lot of ships.
The relation between the kingdom of Devos and Luminos is pretty shaky after an incident between Umbra and Melody. Paired with how unstable Umbra's rule is, Devos is sort of falling from the inside out.
Below is my loose interpretation of the continent, always subject to change.
Tumblr media
The land between Lais and Stagnus has been under dispute for several years now, leading to both kingdoms retreating from it until the other kingdoms can help decide.
Cilcia and Fyn are naturally small kingdoms, and neither ruler really wants to gather more land anytime soon.
All kingdoms follow a religion called Muse (yes, I'm basic). The kingdoms tend to follow all the gods/goddesses of the religion, but some kingdoms focus specifically on certain ones.
Luminos focuses on Bliss, goddess of Light and Rythmn.
Stagnus focuses on Aldor, god of Fire and Passion.
Ethil focuses on Caspian, god of Water and Creativity.
The others are Unus, god of Darkness and Simplicity. Zephyr, god of Wind and Change. Tera, goddess of Earth and Journey. Petunia, goddess of Nature and Medicine. Zenith, god of Lightning and Energy. Cit, goddess of Ice and Progress.
I like to think Melody and Belor are good friends, with them other exchanging letters and all that. He was one of the first she sent a letter to after the events of Watered Down Dreams to assure him that everyone was okay.
Not every kingdom has a Songbird at the same time, as someone who can naturally master both vocal and instrumental music is tough already. But every kingdom has had one.
No one likes King Umbra. They can tolerate him, but they all agree he isn't exactly someone they'll miss once he dies.
Cilcia is both known as the medical center and entertainment center of the continent. Take that as you will.
(That's all I have for now! Anything else you think may fit, tell me and I may add it!)

TotK Intermediate/Advanced tips/things not to miss (spoilers ahead)
⚠️⚠️ DUPLICATION GLITCHES PATCHED AS OF VERSION 1.1.2 ⚠️⚠️
Zonai Devices + Hylian Sheild = OP
You can put Zonai Devices on the Hylian Sheild and they won't break. If you duplicated the Hylian Sheild (and have the sheild slots), you can have a cart for mobility (basically an unbreakable skateboard), a flame/ice/shock/beam emitter, or a cannon for pesky caves. The ice emitter is OP for stunlocking every enemy that isn't a Lynel or Boss, and a cannon is good too for armored enemies, and as long as you hold still while aiming, it fires straight (this is true for all devices fused onto sheilds).
Most Efficient Zonai Machine
Getting to different sections of the Water, Fire, and the section leading up to the Wind temple can all be pretty much skipped using an airbike. It seems to be the most efficient use of Zonai devices while providing the best mobility. It's also amazing for exploring The Depths, just throw a Giant Brightbloom seed on it and you're set (be careful as throwing a seed on it activates the device). Also if you don't have much battery, consuming a Large Zonai Charge will fill your battery and give you a brief period of unlimited energy use. They are rare however (but again, easy to dupe).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(I recommend a YouTube video for instructions on how to build it, it can be REALLY finicky if not done correctly)
Expensive Taste
Once you finish the Gerudo section you can unlock the full Accessories shop. (You might have to do the side quest, I'm not sure) but you can buy the diamond circlet. It's better than it was in botw as it now has Attack Up, and when fully upgraded has 28 defense. It will cost you 18 diamonds and 3 star fragments and some flint to fully upgrade, but is definitely worth it.
Pimping out the Purah Pad
Complete Josha's quests which involve exploring The Depths to unlock the Autobuild ability at Hyrule Central Mine, but then go see Robbie to unlock the Shrine Sensor, Heroes Path and Travel Medallion. To unlock the Travel Medallion you'll need to enter Robbie's old Tech Lab in Akkala (use the chasm and ascend into it), and this is also part of the Yiga quest chain. The Travel Medallion is definitely worth it for going back to hard to reach areas, or putting it in useful spots (I have one right next to the item break-down place in Tarrey Town).
Yiga Clan Questline Rewards
If you've gotten the Travel Medallion for Robbie from the Akkala Tech Lab, you've already done 1 of 3 hideouts for getting the Yiga suit. The other two are in the Old Man's cabin on the Great Plateau, and just west of the Great Hyrule Forest in a cave in Aldor foothills. The suit's stats aren't the greatest, but Yiga clan members won't ambush you while wearing it (and they'll all have unique dialogue), you can enter the Yiga Clan hideout and participate in a challenge to unlock their paraglider design, their earthquake technique, and a replica functional Thunder Helm making you immune to lightning.
Gleeok Horns Pack a Punch
If you've managed to take down a Gleeok, the horn they drop does a MASSIVE aoe if you attach them to an arrow. They're also the highest elemental fuse component at 30 Damage. They are rare, but are also easy to duplicate.
⚠️ I've purposely left out a bunch of details on how exactly to accomplish some of these, but feel free to message if you need further instructions, also google is free ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Link to duplicating Here.

Éomer became a great king, and being young when he succeeded Théoden he reigned for sixty-five years, longer than all their kings before him save Aldor the Old. In the War of the Ring he made the friendship of King Elessar, and of Imrahil of Dol Amroth; and he rode often to Gondor. In the last year of the Third Age he wedded Lothíriel, daughter of Imrahil. / @swordoaths

-Set during 6th year, pretty normal timeline, although some things may be slightly altered to fit story.
-Warning: smut/insinuations of smut, swearing
-1.5K words 🖤
-My Masterlist 🖤
It had been just over a month since Draco and Y/N met the Dark Lord and had been given their dark marks. They had both quickly isolated themselves from their friends, having spent the end of their summer mastering Occlumency alongside Bellatrix, they became emotionless, cut off, more calculated than ever before, the only people they let in were one an other. It had been a few weeks since they’d arrived back at Hogwarts and they had spent most of their time locked up in Dracos room scouring books for any information on poisons, curses and hexes.
“This is hopeless, I need a break” Draco huffed.
“We will get it don’t worry my love, at least we have the necklace at the ready, we just need to retrieve it and find our puppet” Y/N grinned menacingly thinking about their plan, the pair had come across an opal necklace in Borgin and Burkes, it was rumoured to be cursed with very dark magic and had taken the lives of nineteen muggles, they intended to send it to Dumbledore via a messenger, in hopes of taking him down. Of course they couldn’t just bring it into school, they would have never got it past Filch themselves. So Draco had made a trip to Hogsmeade prior to term beginning and left it with Madame Rosmerta, who he had under the imperious curse, she knew all the comings and goings of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade so the pair decided she’d make a brilliant unknowing spy for them.
“Why don’t we head down to dinner?” she asked.
“Yeh I guess a bit of food would help us reset” he said, dragging himself from his bed.
The pair headed down to dinner, striding into the Great Hall hand in hand, other students practically dove out of their way in fear.
“Y/N, Draco!” Pansy shouted, beckoning them over, “Nice to see you have finally left Dracos room, what on earth have you been doing?”
“Not much really, just studying” Y/N replied causally, sitting herself down.
“Studying for what? Exams aren’t for ages yet, it’s literally the third week” Pansy said.
“It’s none of your business Parkinson” Draco snapped, Y/N placed her hand gently on his thigh noticing how agitated he’d become.
“Merlin, you two are bizarre” Pansy retorted, rolling her eyes and returning to her previous conversation with Blaise.
“Calm down Draco” Y/N whispered to him, squeezing his leg slightly, before serving herself dinner. She wished she could share their amazing story from summer and show off her new mark, they would all be so jealous, but Draco didn’t think they could trust anyone, so instead Y/N sat silently. The pair finished their food and ran off into the shadows again, they still hadn’t had chance to explore the Room of Requirement and find the Vanishing Cabinet, so they planned to do it that evening.
“Come on this way” Draco urged pulling Y/N down a dark corridor, he knew where to find the Room of Requirement from being on the inquisitorial squad the year before and busting Potter and the rest of Dumbledores so called “army” who had been using it as some kind of training space. As they turned the corner Draco stopped and faced the wall taking a deep breath and closing his eyes. Y/N watched in amazement as a huge iron door appeared in front of her.
“Wow, I guess Hogwarts can be pretty cool sometimes” she giggled, heading towards the door and slipping inside, Draco close behind her.
“Y/N slow down would you!” Draco exclaimed chasing his girlfriend through piles of chairs, old books and trinkets, until suddenly she was gone.
“Y/N! Y/N where are you?” he shouted.
“Over here, I think I’ve found it!“ Y/N’s voice called from a distant location.
“Okay just keep talking and I’ll follow your voice” Draco responded. Y/N blabbed away about the cabinet “This has got to be it, it’s exactly the same as the one in Borgin and Burkes” finally Draco saw her through and opening between two empty bookshelves.
“Found you” he whispered in Y/N’s ear as he snuck up behind her wrapping his arms around her waist. She giggled spinning around, placing a kiss on his lips.
“Right do you remember the incantation?” Y/N asked.
“Yes lets give this a go” Draco responded apprehensively, approaching the cabinet, lifting his wand. “Harmonia Nectere Passus” he whispered over and over again. Y/N watched as the cabinet shook lightly and began to glimmer, for a moment it looked like the charm was beginning to fix the cabinet, until suddenly it all went dark and the trembling stopped.
“Damn it” Draco spat, clearly extremely frustrated.
“Draco, don’t worry, we will fix it. It’s just going to take time” Y/N reassured him.
“We don’t have time Y/N” he snapped.
“Yes we do silly, don’t let yourself get so stressed, we’ve got this” she purred in his ear, peppering his neck with kisses, “why don’t you let me relieve some of that stress” she teased, slowly moving her hands down Dracos body towards the growing bulge in his pants. Draco swiftly picked her up wrapping her legs round his body as they continued kissing, carrying her over to a nearby empty table and laying her down. Twenty minutes later they both stumbled out of the Room of Requirement, slight sweaty, smirking at each other as they readjusted their uniforms and headed back to the Slytherin common room.
“Draco, Y/N! There you two are, come sit with us!” Blaise shouted as soon as he saw them come into the common room. Thankfully Draco was in a better mood, so they both headed over to their group of friends who were all gathered on the sofas by the fire, Draco sat down in a free arm chair and Y/N placed herself delicately on his knee.
“We are just discussing Hogsmeade, are you two planning on going tomorrow?” Blaise asked.
“Yes I think so, I fancy a trip to the Three Broomsticks, don’t you Draco?” Y/N said innocently, but with a slightly cunning grin, knowing that tomorrow would be the day they would return to visit Madame Rosmerta and pick up their deadly necklace.
“Yes, yes I do” Draco replied, “Although we will be going alone, we haven’t got time to be nipping here, there and everywhere, we have things to do” he added cautiously, knowing how nosey their friends could be.
“Things to do? Like what?” questioned Pansy.
“Once again Parkinson, it’s really none of your business.” Draco said.
“You two are so boring these days!” she exclaimed, much to the irritation of Y/N.
“Boring?” Y/N questioned, laughing at Pansy’s absurd accusation, “You mean like your frivolous excuse for a life? Me and Draco actually have much more important things to deal with than just passing charms class this year, we are helping-“
“Y/N!” Draco interrupted her just before she exposed them both to all their friends, “I think we should be getting off to bed, don’t you?” he asked.
“Yes let’s, we have to be up early for Hogsmeade” she replied. Draco rushed Y/N away to his room, hands interlocked, as the rest of the group returned to their conversation, completely unaware that the next day two of their best friends would be attempting to assassinate Dumbledore.
Draco slammed the door behind them as they entered his room.
“Are you completely mad?” he shouted, “You nearly just exposed both of us!”
“Oh relax Draco, like they would care anyway, they would all just be insanely jealous, especially if we showed them our marks” Y/N replied nonchalantly.
“We are not showing anyone our marks” he spat.
“Okay, okay, jeeez” Y/N responded rolling her eyes, “Forgive me for being proud of us” she added. Y/N quietly stomped around the room, getting her pyjamas on, before slipping into bed and turning away from Draco as he climbed in the other side. They both lay there in silence for a few minutes, before Draco slowly moved himself across and nuzzled into Y/N from behind, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her in closer.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have snapped, you are just excited, as you should be” he said, placing a gentle kiss on her neck.
“That’s okay and I won’t tell anyone you don’t have to worry, it’s our secret.” she replied, turning herself round to face him, meeting his lips with a kiss.
“I love you, my little crazy lady” he said, returning a kiss.
“I love you too” Y/N responded.
“Together forever!” Draco whispered, squeezing Y/N tightly in his arms.
“Together forever!” Y/N replied, sinking into his chest and slowly drifting off to sleep.

Truly Meant for Each Other
Sandra has always knew her soulmate's voice, but she wasn't prepared to meet him.
Sandra (the recepitionist)/Glib Soulmate!AU
Fair warning this one gets sad.
**
“God Damn it, they went after the horse again!” the voice swears bitterly in her ear as she continues typing away at her computer.
“Take a deep breath before you work yourself into a frenzy,” Sandra replies calmly. She knows he won’t listen to her, but it’s worth a shot if it keeps him from shouting profanities into her head while she is trying to get work done.
She had always heard his voice in her head. Everyone always had someone’s voice in their head. People always said it was their soulmate, but Sandra never thought she could ever love her internal voice. He used to always be scared and anxious, the only thoughts she would hear from him were swear words and silent prayers that whatever accidents he would encounter wouldn’t kill him.
“Shit! Oh, God, please don’t kill me!” He used to scream, most likely unaware that he was telegraphing it mentally as well.
And one day he changed.
Arguably, for the worse.
He was thrown out of college and turned into a vampire, morphing most of his emotions from fear and anxiety to a constant simmering rage.
“I’m gonna kill that fucker!” Would play like a mantra at least once a day for about a year after the incident.
Rage makes him unpredictable, chaotic even.
Sandra didn’t like this. She was born in the order realm under Aldor’s reign but once the old “King” was disposed of, she was far more aware of her surroundings; however, she, like most Aldorians, valued Order above all else. Of course, she doesn’t hold it to the same standard she once did, but her old ideals make it very difficult to agree with any of the thoughts her “soulmate” sends her way.
But, of course, Sandra preferred the rage to the bouts of depression that would sour her mood as well.
“Why can’t I just die?” He would moan pitifully, and Sandra would have to remind him that if he killed himself, she would probably also die. The threat of killing an innocent person kept him stable for most days.
The worst days would be when he was completely silent. Sandra made it a point on most days to not try and talk to her soulmate, wishing he would stop talking to her, but on those days she would get worried. She would ask pointless questions, just hoping he would respond.
“Do you have a favorite color?”
And some days he would respond. Tired, broken, but not dead.
“Blue.”
And he might keep it going for a few minutes.
“How about you?”
Before stopping the conversation with a simple, “I don’t want to distract you from your work.”
But the days she dreaded the most were when he wouldn’t respond to her questions, or to her pleading. She had heard the stories of what it would feel like to have your soulmate die. It would be the worst pain she had ever felt. Sometimes he would apologize or tell her he was just having a bad day, other times he wouldn’t say anything for a few days, leaving her to be anxious the entire time.
Since living under Friday’s rule, things have definitely been better for the receptionist. Her job is fun, and she doesn’t have to pretend to be a drone. Her soulmate has also been quiet, but not alarmingly so, allowing her to have enough peace of mind to work undisturbed.
At least it was undisturbed.
S.G. and Mr. Goodbid had come, just as Friday had told her they would. She led them to Friday’s chambers before returning to her desk. Not even ten minutes later a little frog man, a very old Shadar-Kai, and a bored-looking warforged came in through the front door.
The frog approaches the desk and very tiredly, yet obviously frustrated, says “we are looking for a sparkly mannequin and a man in a business suit who are probably yelling about Friday, have you seen them?”
“Oh, you mean Mx. S.G. and Mr. Goodbid?” Sandra asks, reading over the file.
“Yeah, them,” the little frog says, looking at her strangely yet not saying anything.
“Well, they were just led upstairs, but I can take a message for you,” Sandra says, and the frog goes from frustrated to borderline fuming.
“And why the hell can’t I go upstairs?” He all but shouts. Something in his voice makes Sandra pause in her writing. She knows that voice from somewhere, but she can’t place it.
“Because you are not authorized?” She says slowly, stopping typing for long enough to look at the angry frog and the other two men questioningly before returning to her work.
“Bullshit!” The frog screams.
“I’m sorry, but I have no idea who you are,” Sandra says, only a little apologetic.
“Do you have any idea who the fuck I am?!” He roars at her, which would be more intimidating if her wasn’t on his tip toes to see over her desk’s edge. “I broke into this building not even three fucking months ago!”
Sandra opens her mouth to respond when in her head, clear as day, she hears, “this god damned receptionist! Who the fuck does she think she is?!”
Sandra studies him for a long moment before squinting at him. “Now, that was quite rude to say about me,” she says bluntly.
Glib looks at her confused, not noticing as S.G. and Mr. Goodbid walk down the stairs.
“Hi guys,” the old man says, head still staring forward -it was at this moment that Sandra realized the old man had no eyes- drawing the frog’s attention away from her.
“Oh, hey,” Glib says slowly before seeming to come back to his senses. “Can you tell this lady I’m with you?”
S.G. looks to Goodbid who nods and steps up to the desk.
“I’m sorry, Miss, I didn’t get your name,” Goodbid says apologetically, but his face is all smiles.
“Oh, I’m Sandra,” she tells him, straightening her blouse. Glib’s eyes never leave her, as if he is trying to wrap his head around everything.
Goodbid chuckles before nodding. “Well, Sandra, the frog is with us. Oh, and the old man.” He flashes her a grin that probably works on most people, but Sandra has a strong will and no tolerance for flattery. She smiles at him anyway.
“Oh, my apologies,” Sandra says turning back to her computer. She begins tapping away to update, fix, or create files on all three of them. “There must have been an error in my system.” She types for another few moments before there is a ding and a flash of green light from the machinery around her desk. With a mostly feigned apologetic smile, she motions them up the stairs.
They start up the stairs immediately, everyone except for the frog who is still staring at her.
He slowly approaches the desk, cocking his head to the side.
“I’m Glib by the way,” he says slowly, almost unsure about what to do with himself.
Sandra makes a noncommittal hum. “I’ll update your file, then.”
He watches her silently for a few moments before asking huffily, “that’s it?”
“What do you mean?” she asks, deciding that playing dumb will hurt them both less.
“Well, I’m your soulmate and you don’t seem to care.” He is barely containing his rage; Sandra can tell by his tight tone.
Sandra stops typing and decides that its now or never to cut off this damaging relationship that they seem to have. With a deep breath, she forces out “We are not soulmates. You are a parasitic voice that has caused me nothing but stress and frustration for all of my life.”
Glib stares at her slack-jawed before it is quickly replaced with anger. “You fucker-!”
“Oh please, I have to listen to you scream all the time. Save it for later and go catch up with your friends before you get left in this realm and I have to deal with you for the rest of forever.”
She goes back to the systematic typing of her computer. She doesn’t look up when Glib screams, nor when he stomps away.
She barely flinches when she feels that cord that wraps around her heart pull dangerously tight. She doesn’t react when the faint hum of an open telepathic line goes startling silent.
She doesn’t react until later, once she has gone home, and she habitually waits for her internal voice to complain about something mundane.
Then the pain comes as she suddenly realizes all the little things he would do for her. Like only yelling when he knew she was awake despite having mentioned to her that he was practically nocturnal. Or how he always complained about something at around the same times of day. Morning (about an hour after she woke up), midday (when she would be eating lunch), and evening (just before she would go to bed).
It hit her like a ton of bricks that he was subtly letting her know he was still alive while maintaining her peace.
She also realizes one thing that makes her heart squeeze painfully. Glib’s life is a series of unfortunate events, something that they had talked about on one of Sandra’s more chatty days, and he probably views his soulmate as just another mistake.
Religion had been ruined for her when she was quite young -Aldor made it mandatory to worship him as Order itself but Sandra was never a mindless drone like the rest of them, something that she always blamed on having a soulmate while no one else did- but she slowly sank to her knees at the foot of her bed and sent a prayer out to Friday.
Within seconds Friday was walking into her small apartment, a tight fit for a horse so large.
“You prayed for me, my child?” She asks in her normal benevolent tone.
“Tell me I didn’t fuck up,” Sandra says. She’s not going to cry. She simply won’t. “Please tell me I didn’t mess this up.”
Friday studies her for a long moment before slowly lowering herself into a sitting position and guides Sandra into a tight hug with her neck.
“I’m so sorry my dear,” she says quietly.
Sandra will never admit to the tears that are streaming down her face or how hard she is truly crying.
“It wasn’t supposed to happen this way,” the white horse says soothingly, Sandra is lost to the feeling of grief which was catching up to her.
“Can’t I fix it? Please tell me how to fix it!” She pleads, burying her fingers into the soft white fur.
Friday shakes her head sadly. “I’m sorry, but he belongs to another, now.”
A choked sob rips from Sandra’s throat.
“You were never truly meant for each other.”

So I noticed this story idea got some attention.
And you know what, I'm gonna give a sneak peek soon and post a test chapter soon. But before I do, I'm gonna say some extra things.
The title is officially:
"My Sunries"
And more charaters I wrote in:
Vee: Luzs twin sister. The two lost their parents in a mysterious accident and were taken in by the Emperor. Vee loves to be a lady in waiting and helping with everything. She loves animals, children, learning, music, art, going into the private library and thanks Hunter everyday when he let's her in. She's calm, obedient, and shy. Everything the Emperor could ask for in a proper lady of the court. Shame she isn't really human but a monster that the Wittebanes have been hunting to extinction for generations.
Steve: A loyal soldier of Emperor Belos. He has always dreamed of being a soldier and serving his kingdom with a proud heart. He sacrificed so much for his family and made sure to be a positive role model for his younger half brother. He loves spending time with his best friends Lilith and Hooty. He's the first soldier to greet Willow into her new home and show her the garden. He instantly falls in love with Willow's unicorn shaped bushes and pets the everyday. His only regret? Becoming a solider for the Emperor.
Mattholomule: Steve's half little brother. He looks up to his brother and wants to be a solider like him. He pushes everyone down so he can be on top just so Bria and her friends accept him. Though they never do. He always tries to join Steve on his mission's to prove he is strong enough to hang out with the Glandus kids but Steve only let's him join the more tamed missions. Like delivering the a certain jester of the Emperor to see his bettoth. What Mat didn't expect was to be intrigued by the jesters fascination for illusions and human history. Or for this jester to show genuine kindness towards him with no strings attached. Or for the jester to be a handsome young guy.
Alador: King to his Queen Odalia. The two were childhood friends until Aldors parents pushed the two to marry. Alador is highly intelligent and hard working. Perhaps a little too hard working. He hasn't taken a break in years or even talked to his kids. In fact, he can't remember when was the last time he saw the sunrise. It isn't until his daughter runs away when he finally gets to see what he's been missing his entire life. Finally going out and meeting new people and old friends. Though he wishes he could've douged Darius just so the twins would stop asking about him.
Edric and Emira: Twins. Love their little sister to death. They prank her, joke around with her but still look after her needs. Helping her sneak out of the castle and making illusions so no one suspects she's gone. But they regret it when Amity decides to not come back one day. The twins go after her against their mothers wishes and are determined to bring back their Mittens.
Original characters
Amado- A prince from another kingdom across the sea. His kingdom is not under control of Belos or anyone that isn't his family. He loves to travel and stops by every kingdom he finds to explore. He loves making new friends and learning about every culture. Helpful, kind, loyal, determined and a romantic. Now if only he could add empathy to that list instead of being ignorant to others feelings.
Miss Baron: A human teacher that encourages Eda and Lilith to share their witch culture with humans.

Went back to totk again today, I've now dubbed this playthrough the Link's leisurely horseback trip. In which I avoid teleporting as much as possible. Which also means avoiding teleporting my horse via the stable system, so I need to keep track of Feris and basically avoid long distance gliding/foot travel, unless I have already boarded my horse.
It's actually pretty fun. I almost have to backtrack from the bristol to the woodland stable because I forgot the old road is blocked. However after some exploring I realized the only spot I cannot ride through is just as tiny drop, so it's fine.
Note to self being it's a one way pass from woodland to foothill, because I can get my horse to slide down, but I can't ride him back up, so...
Anyway I'm just about to arrive at Tarrytown, and I think I have enough rupees to get the land and build a simple house. Also, finally I can get my hands on some steering stick capsules, I keep forgetting I don't have any yet lol.
The progression is really weird in this to be honest, I just went where ever looks right. I haven't even got the regional phenomena quest yet, just the paraglider. And it's really funny, because Dorian is apparently in so many spots across your way out of the Hyrule field. I've met him three times already, and ignored all his attempt to steer me towards Impa.
Next destination after Terry town would probably be the Akkala tech lab, then ride towards gut check rock, pass the Eldin great skeleton, and go up to goron city. After that would be a visit to the Thyphlo ruins, and go behind the korok forest, to aldor foothills and visit some old friends.
But that's gonna take at least a few days and multiple detour, so idk. Might end up in Zora's domain for all I know.

men of middle-earth ♞ house of éorl ♞ headcanon disclaimer
Éorl the Young was but sixteen years old when he became the Lord of the Éothéod, and was still in his youth nine years later when his people’s ancient allies in Gondor sought their aid against their foes, the Balchoth of the east and fearsome Uruk-hai. Steward Círion sent many messengers to the North, but only one, Borondir Udalraph, survived the journey to Framsburg. Borondir bore the Red Arrow and the Seal of the Stewards, calling upon Éorl to renew the ancient friendship between their peoples, and after much deliberation Éorl agreed. He led the Éothéod into war upon the Field of Celebrant, turning the tide of the battle in the favor of Gondor and destroying the Balchoth and the orcs. They chased their remaining enemies across the plains of Calenardhon, ridding that land of evil.           After this great victory, Círion returned to Minas Tirith to recover, but asked Éorl to meet him again in three months upon the banks of the Mering Stream. Éorl led the Éothéod back into the North, and in Framsburg wed Lisswyn the bard, who immediately set about immortalizing her husband’s deeds in song. When the time came, Éorl returned to the South and was led by Círion to the hill of Amon Anwar where Elendil, the first King of the Dúnedain, was buried in secret. Círion offered the land of Calenardhon to the Éothéod in perpetual alliance with Gondor, and Éorl was honored to accept.           Upon Amon Anwar, Círion and Éorl swore an Oath, even in the name of Eru Ilúvatar himself, of lasting friendship between the two realms. This solemn vow was witnessed by Círion’s heir Hallas, Prince Zôrahad of Dol Amroth, two other Councilors of Gondor, and Éorl’s captain and dear friend Éomund. Should ever Gondor or the Éothéod need aid, they needed only to send the Red Arrow born first by Borondir to signify their plight, or else to light the warning beacons of Gondor across the White Mountains to summon support.           Éorl returned to the North bearing the joyous news of a new land and old allies. He led his people back to Calenardhon, where he founded the kingdom of Rohan. That name was coined by Hallas, son of Círion, who was close in friendship with Éorl. As the new King organized his nation, he was supported by Lisswyn his wife and Éomund his captain, both equally dear in his heart; indeed, it was rumored that Éomund was welcome in the bed of the King and Queen.           Éorl ruled from Aldburg, a green hill in the shadow of the White Mountains. Even as he aged, he retained his youthful vigor and his golden-yellow hair, and his bond with Felaróf his mighty steed only grew stronger. But the peace of Rohan could not last forever, and when the Easterlings attacked in vengeance for their defeat upon the Field of Celebrant, Éorl fell in battle attempting to repel them. He was buried in the first royal mound, and Felaróf, who perished alongside his master, was buried with him.           King Éorl was succeeded by his son Brego, who continued to defend the borders of Rohan against the invading Easterlings and the Dunlendings who had dwelt in Calenardhon before the Éothéod’s migration hither. His wife was Meregith, a warrior who fought by his side, and together they had three sons: Baldor, Aldor, and Éofor. After he and Meregith fought off their enemies, Brego began construction on the Golden Hall of Meduseld upon the hill of Edoras.           When Meduseld was completed, Brego hosted a great feast and invited all his people’s allies to attend. Among these were Steward Hallas and Prince Alêthir of Dol Amroth; Alêthir’s son Karsalimir was awed by Brego’s skill in riding upon the son of Felaróf and determined to attempt the feat himself. Karsalimir was denied, but in later years returned to Rohan and perished in an unlawful attempt to mount one of the mearas. This was not the only tragedy foreshadowed upon that night of celebration, for at this time Brego’s eldest son Baldor vowed to pass through the Dark Door and walk the Paths of the Dead.           This mountain pass had been discovered by Brego and Baldor some years earlier, and it was explained by Hallas that it was a relic of another ancient Oath like unto the one sworn by his and Brego’s fathers. King Isildur of Gondor had sworn with the King of the Mountains an Oath of alliance in the name of the One, but when he called upon the Men of the Mountains to fulfill it, they broke their word and refused to go to war against Sauron, whom they had worshipped in years past. Isildur cursed them and their king, proclaiming they would have no rest until the Oath was fulfilled, and as the years passed on the King and his people faded into restless wraiths haunting their former lands, luring unwary travelers into their clutches, never to return.           Baldor balked at the terrible repercussions of such an Oath, so like the one which he himself was bound to as a descendant of Éorl, and determined to traverse the Paths of the Dead to prove the legend false. When a year after Meduseld’s completion Baldor embarked alone upon his journey into darkness, he was lost in a temple of Sauron, starving to death after the ghosts broke his legs. Baldor’s skeleton would not be discovered for five centuries, until Aragorn and the Grey Company passed through the temple on their own adventures.           Upon the loss of his beloved son and heir, Brego withered away in his grief and perished less than a year later. His second son, Aldor, now took up his crown and became the third King of Rohan, while Éofor his youngest son was granted the lordship of Aldburg.

The Owl House Reaching Out Recap
Tumblr media
Luz tries to help Amity deal with her dad, but Luz might be hiding something. Spoilers below.
I was not prepared for the level of feels this episode hit me with. The episode begins with Luz getting a reminder on her phone for an event with her mom. She acts weird, while weirder than normal. Eda and King pick up something’s up.
But Amity comes over with her dad problems. She wants to enter Bonesborough Brawl. The fighting competition that her father once won. But it's on the same day as emperor coven tryouts. Amity’s experience over the course of the show had killed any interest she had in joining.
Luz talks Amity into going for the brawl, Amity fakes her fathers voice and commands the abomination babysitting her to find a rare dagger. Luz gets Edric and Emira help help with Amity’s outfit. And it turns out instead of making themselves presentable they just cover themselves with illusions. Emira has pimples and Edric is in full on sweatpants. That said, Amity's outfit is super cute. I especially like the glasses.
But watching her girlfriend isn’t enough to distract Luz and she joins the fight. I love her wearing Eda’s old Gruby outfit and her messy hair. But she finds it strange that Luz is fighting when this was supposed to be about her.
Meanwhile, Eda wants to interrogate the warden about Raine and the day of unity. So she makes a truth potion. She ropes in Edric to help her. But she leaves him only with King and they decide to cook it hotter to make it cook faster. It’s literally that Zuko and Toph post. It makes warden into a monster but he’s fine after a smack down from Eda. Warden has been demoted for stealing his co-workers' lunches. He doesn’t know anything about Raine, but the day of unity is meant to make them all one with the titan, and some of the coven heads fear that this new world will not like magic users.
Back with the others, the abomination returns and Luz sets off its alarm. Alador returns and shuts down the game. Amity runs off and Luz goes to meet her at the tree they made at Grom. Luz reveals that today is the anniversary of her father's death. Every year they would plant flowers over his grave. I love the look on Amity’s face as she hears this.
The heart to heart is interrupted by the before mentioned warden fight. I like the exchange that Alador has with Eda. When they say each other's names, it has a lot of history behind it. Amity confronts her dad that he doesn’t really do anything to rain in Odalia and he hasn’t even put it together that she’s dating Luz. It’s really interesting that Aldor sees Luz as Eda’s.
Afterward Amity reminds Luz that she can spell flowers when she can’y find any. They send some up to the sky, while back in the human realm Camilia puts some in a vase. Also Vee hanging out untransformed. That’s neat.
A beautiful episode! 4/4

The Blight Chronicles: Odalia and Alador Chapter 2: How it Started
Every day started the same. "Get up, Alador, we're going to be late for school. Take a quick shower while I get us some food" ordered Odalia as she picked up clothes that were on the floor.
"Is it necessary? I showered yesterday so it should be ok." muttered Aldor as he got out of bed. He didn't understand why everything had to be so clean all the time. As far as he could tell it was a waste of time.
"I've told you if you want to make good business connections you have to make a good impression. We're not just trying to sell your inventions, we are also trying to sell people on you."
"Ok… but what does that have to do with my room?" he asked while rummaging through some drawers for clean clothes. "You're the only person that sees it."
She knew he was just stating facts but something about the thought that she was the only other person that would get to be in his room made her heart quiver.
"It's filthy here, it's easier to find things if it's all in its place." She replied matter of factly and as if to prove her point Alador could not find any clothes in his drawers. They were filled with random notes and tools.
Odalia handed him some clean clothes from a basket of laundry she had done the day before while giving him a smirk. Without any form of expression on his face he took the clothes from her and headed to the bathroom.
“Make sure to be quick we’re already behind schedule” she said as she headed out the room.
“Ok” mumbled Alador.
This is the way things had been since that day at the market. After making eye contact with him Odalia got a strange look in her eyes and started following him around. She kept trying to make conversation with him but he was so unsettled by the situation that he just stayed quiet in hopes that she would leave. Most people did but not her. After a while she just stepped in line with him and walked around the market with him in silence.
He could feel her watching him as they walked and he wasn’t sure how to react. He was not used to being around people like this. When he took a glance at her he saw that she really was staring at him. Those piercing blue eyes made him feel very exposed but he didn’t know how to deal with it. So he decided to just get the materials he needed as fast as possible and leave.
He headed to his usual stand where he was greeted by the shopkeeper.
“Hey, why if it isn't my favorite customer?! Oh and you brought a lady friend with you?” bellowed the large man while giving Alador a wink. "What can I do for you?"
Without responding Alador grabbed the items he needed and showed them to the shop keeper so he could give him a price. He just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible and go home.
“I see you’re still not much of a talker ey? Let’s see that there will be 250 snails.” he said as he started putting the items in a bag.
That was a lot of snails. He pulled out his wallet and started counting. He barely had enough but this would mean he would be out of money. He would have to hold off on buying groceries until his next allowance the following month. As he was lost in thought still looking at his wallet his companion stepped forward.
“Wow if this is how you treat your favorite customer I would hate to see how you treat your least favorite.” chimed the green haired girl whose piercing sapphire eyes were now set on the shopkeeper.
Alador almost felt sorry for the man who seemed to have shrunk under the gaze of this school girl. Having been the target of her gaze though he felt a sense of relief that she wasn’t looking at him like that. Although she had a smile on her face there was a storm behind her eyes. Even her presence had changed, it was terrifying. At that moment Alador was sure of one thing; he was happy that she was on his side.
“Now I might be confused but going by the chart you have there the total should be no more than 50 snails.” she jeered still keeping the same expression on her face. “What sign?” thought Alador to himself.
The shopkeep started huffing trying to produce words but it just came out as babbles. Alador was not sure if it was due to him being called out or the intensity of the girls gaze but he was having a hard time staying composed.
*Cough* *cough* “Ah yes you are right little lady I uh you see it’s been a long day. Yeah that's it a long day and I’m not as young as I used to be. My mind is not as sharp as you youngsters.”
At the sight of the girl’s smile widening the shopkeeps face went pale. “You know what you’re right! Al my boy take whatever you need free of charge for my favorite customer.” stuttered the shopkeep who was already sweating through his clothes.
“That’s very generous of you” said the green haired girl.  “You heard him Alador take anything you think you might need and make sure to take extras just in case.” she said while looking directly at him and giving him a genuine smile.
Alador felt a small jolt when she turned to look at him with that sweet smile. But he quickly recovered and did as she said. He took everything he thought he would need, some spares and a couple of things he thought he would never be able to afford.
“Is that all you needed?” she asked him still with that same smile on her face. He nodded in response. “Good, can we have some bags for these?” she said looking back at the shopkeep with those sharp eyes. The man visibly jumped and hurriedly started packing all the things Alador had picked out. “Oh well take one of those too” she said pointing at what looked like a case.
“But that?” started the shopkeep before going completely pale once he met eyes with the girl again. “I mean yes, little miss of course. Here you go kids.”
He handed the bags to them along with the case. Alador could see it now. It was a brand new tool set. He wanted to open it and examine the tools right here and now but suddenly felt the sensation of being pulled.
“Come on I’ll help you carry these home” said the green haired girl who was now pulling on his sleeve.
“Ok” muttered Alador. He grabbed a couple of bags on one hand and the tool set with the other. The girl followed suit. “Thank you again mister, it was a pleasure doing business with you.” she said before giving the man a wink and following after Alador.
Alador could have sworn that he heard the man crying as he walked away but he didn’t care. He just wanted to get home to go over his new inventory. His thoughts were again interrupted by the girl walking next to him.
“We need to find you some glasses, that nearsightedness of yours could have cost you a fortune today.  Who knows how much money that old snake has taken from you.” she said as she started mumbling plans for getting him glasses.
“Thank you” he said in a tone devoid of emotion. Even Though he was thankful it was hard for him to express emotions.
“Don’t mention it. Think about it like a business investment.” she stated matter of factly.
“Business investment?” questioned Alador.
“Yes you and I are going to go into business together. I will handle the money and talking to people while you will handle production.”
Alador only took a moment to think about it before agreeing. After today it did not take much effort to realize how beneficial this partnership would be for him. He just simply nodded in agreement.
“A man of few words, I can respect that. With you and me working together the boiling isles won't know what hit them.” she said with a hint of glee in her eyes.
“What’s your name?”  he asked in his usual dry tone. He almost felt bad for not knowing it even after she went out of her way to help him.
“My name? Oh yes how rude of me. My name is Odalia.” she said, giving him the same sweet smile that made his chest feel funny.
Once they arrived at his house she came in to drop off the bags she was carrying. Instantly she was assaulted by the smell of staleness and dirt. She took in her surroundings and noticed that almost everything had a layer of dirt on it. It was almost impossible to tell that someone lived here except for the one chair and the one clean spot on the table.
“Alador do you leave alone?” she questioned looking directly at him.
“It's just me and my father but his work keeps him away most of the time so it’s just me.” he said completely undisturbed while he made his way through the times in the first bag.
Odalia would have never guessed that this was how he lived. He always seems so undisturbed by everything but this is no way to live. He can’t be ok with this. Ok Odalia you have to protect your new investment.
“Alador, could you show me where you keep your cleaning supplies?” she said as she rolled up her sleeves.
Alador simply pointed to a small closet before remembering the case of tools. As Odalia checked what materials she would be working with, Alador grabbed the tool case.
"Not so fast, first we clean then you get to play with your new toys." She said, pulling the case away from him. At that moment Alador started to regret his decision. "Don't pout if we work together we'll be done twice as fast. Plus once we're done I'll cook us some dinner ok?"
Alador looked longingly at the case before looking at Odalia and nodding. "Good, what do you feel like eating tonight? She asked as she handed him a rag.

Eomer became a great king, and being young when he succeeded Theoden he reigned for sixty-five years, longer than all their kings before him save Aldor the Old. In the War of the Ring he made the friendship of King Elessar, and of Imrahil of Dol Amroth; and he rode often to Gondor. In the last year of the Third Age he wedded Lothiriel, daughter of Imrahil. Vox Machina Fic Stats 2015
[Image ID: a line graph, depicting the popularity of different pairings for critical role campaign 1. The x-axis is labeled with episode numbers, 1-35. The y-axis is labeled with numbers corresponding to number of fics, 0-50.]
Hey! so, as you all probably know, I’ve been looking through what I can find of early CR fandom lately, and I decided I’d compile some of what I found on ao3!
Thanks to @actualpanacea for wrangling google sheets for me
See this graph better here |  See the data on a google sheet here
Notes on the Graph:
note that this data is not 100% correct, due to both human error. I’ve also found a few works that were marked in the time period I searched in, but did not appear in search results.
This graph covers fics posted (usually ao3 sorts things by date updated and not date posted) from when episode one aired (March 12th, 2015) to the last episode aired in 2015, episode 35 (Aired on December 17th, 2015). Dates taken from the Critical Role fandom wiki.
Points of interest:
First fic with a relationship tag (romantic or otherwise) was Lyra/Aldor
Percy/Vex, despite being the current most popular cr1 pairing on ao3 (with almost 3 times as many fics as the runner up) only appears in a collection of drabbles with (according to the author’s note) ‘every pairing I could think of’. (Side note: this is one of my favorite things about looking through old CR stuff, how much things that are set in stone today were just. Not.)
There was a big uptick in the amount of fic being written after the start of the Briarwoods arc, unsurprisingly. Fic seriously skyrocketed after episode 31, “Gunpowder Plot”, 12 fics written between it and the next Thursday. I would tell you why, but I am currently watching that episode as of writing this post.
Vax/Keyleth has been going steady since episode 24, but it seriously went up after (from what @actualpanacea tells me) the dramatic confession + kiss in episode 33. This also marks the point in the fandom when people realized that canon ships (particularly between pcs) were a real possibility.
If anyone wants to ask me about Percy/Vax, I will gladly give them an essay on it, because it’s another intriguing example of how fandoms change over time, and also just, an interesting example of how shipping works in this fandom in general.
Not really a point of data, but it’s nice to know that there was and will always be a corner of fandom everywhere saying ‘why do we have ship wars? character x has two hands’
Some more random data:
Total Fics: 61
First: "Never Too Much Worry" by Serial_Comma_Abuser, 687 words, Gen. Summary: Vex'ahlia often wonders if she worries about her brother too much. His knack for getting into trouble proves her concerns are quite valid.
Most Popular (Hits): "(you'll see you'll be) the picture of your dreams" by lakilaes, 2064 words, Percy/Vax  Summary: Vax doesn't really know how long he's been looking at Percy differently than the others, but it snowballs very quickly once he realizes. 7823 hits
Most Popular (Comments): "Inheritance" by CurrieBelle, 2028 words, Gen. Summary: Circa Episode 35 - Vex asking Percy the question we were all thinking. 33 comments
Most Popular (Kudos): "(you'll see you'll be) the picture of your dreams" by lakilaes, 2064 words, Percy/Vax  Summary: Vax doesn't really know how long he's been looking at Percy differently than the others, but it snowballs very quickly once he realizes. 833 Kudos.
Highest Word Count: 10,392
Lowest Word Count: 91 (poetry)
Average Word Count (Mean): 1532.3
Average Word Count (Mode): ~970
And that’s that! If enough people like this, I might try to do one for 2017!

My Life For My Prince
Tempted by a magical addiction, his overwhelming sorrow, powerful anger, and The Betrayer, Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider has one last chance to redeem himself. Redemption has arrived at the Black Temple in the form of a woman Bloodknight named Saturna Whiteblade. (By pooktales, originally posted on fanfiction.net)
Tumblr media
Prologue
Saturna Whiteblade loosened the sword called Ashbringer from across her back and dismounted. The other three Bloodknights watched her with grudging patience. They held their tongues, held everything back while she took consciously graceful strides. This is what their commander did when she had terrible news. Saturna placed both hands on the enormous sword. The delicate seductive walk of a female Blood Elf and the intense mean of a Bloodknight caused her to look like a fairy wielding death. The laughing skull that bore itself into the perfect blade belched putrid green fel magic in silent open jowls. It trailed down the hilt Saturna's sword and up her arms… but somehow the woman was not affected by the evil. As always, Saturna was more beautiful than even her blades.
"We are going to him." She announced to the men in her party.
Sunthraze the Sly cocked an irritated fiery eyebrow. Even for an elf, his hair was a comical orange, like rancid apple cider. "We have not only heard rumors, but now have seen that Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider is consorting with demons… first from travelers in Hellfire Peninsula, then in Zangarmarsh and it was on every tongue in Shatthrath City—how many duels did we start with Scryers that resulted in our banishment—and now we can see The Black Temple in the distance, the black demons flying about the turrets where we know our monarch is holding up… and we're doing WHAT?"
Saturna stopped pacing. She hefted the corrupted Ashbringer up onto her shoulder. The sharp edge shone melancholy in the sallow light of Shadowmoon Valley.
"That is our mission, to protect him."
Pyorin, who always carried a shield, indicated that he would speak next with a reluctant sigh. He was the loyal one with a heart made of steel as unbreakable as the shield he used. When they first set out from Azeroth, he was using a crest inlaid with a fiery flaming skull. They'd been traveling for some months now. These days, he'd picked up a frightening aegis with three petals—like a club found in a deck of Darkmoon Faire cards—and a sharpened spike that ripped up from the center of the shield where the three pieces joined. Pyorin wouldn't look at their commander but settled his concerned gaze on her Thalassian charger instead. Scourgebane lowered its head as if to graze, then perked up abruptly. Ears turned to one of many noises in the forest that chilled one's bones.
"Our mission seems exceptionally bleak." Pyorin respectfully disagreed. "It is clearly not what we first set out to do… what Lady Liadrin bade us to do when we were called together in Silvermoon City. If the Prince does in fact work for The Betrayer Illidan, then we can't possibly woo him on behalf of our Order. The courtly conversations we prepared to have, the demonstration of Bloodknight strength… are now irrelevant. It is not just about Silvermoon politics now."
"But it is our sworn duty as Bloodknights to safeguard the Prince no matter what—"
"You cannot seduce a man enslaved to demons! It would be madness to try, Saturna, and we've already risked our necks too far, learned too much."
Saturna's pale green eyes flared and she turned on Sunthraze immediately. "How dare you speak to your commander thus—"
"Mistress, please." Fennore was a priest before he became a Bloodknight a few years ago. Though he wore plate and rode a Bloodknight's war mount like the rest of them, he rarely spoke save to counsel someone. He still felt to the others like a priest. "Certainly you aren't naïve. I'm sure Lady Liadrin asked you to take full advantage of all your assets in the Prince's presence." Then, he hesitated awkwardly. "That is to say… you are a very beautiful woman, sexy even…" he stumbled along further, "I mean that you are an exceptional fighter, a clever tactician, the very best of Lady Liadrin's handpicked pupils. Of course you would…" he blushed, then blurt out, "Why would you spare anything to displace the Rangers, or worse the Magisters in the Sunspire? Clearly, Rommath is corrupt and favoring his own. Bloodknights are the true masters of the Light. We should be leading our people. We came all this way to deliver this message to Prince Kael'thas ourselves, since Rommath would never give Lady Liadrin an audience, or hardly the time of day… along with your retributive powers, I'm sure putting those good elven looks to work was also on the Lady's list."
Saturna couldn't face Fennore. He was a strange one… no longer bound by priestly vows of celibacy but refusing to act on any of his urges. It caused him to spurt forth repressed behavior from time to time. His old habit of treating everyone in a paternal fashion persisted, regardless of his new flirtatious tendencies. As a result, he revealed far more about his desires than the others ever wished to know. It was more than disturbing.
Saturna opened her mouth to say something else, but Fennore leaned forward in the saddle and his twisted smile gave the woman pause. "You are very lovely, commander. It can be done to us men very easily," he gestured to Pyorin and Sunthraze, but both made resistant gestures to indicate that they did not think of their commander in the way Fennore suggested. Self-conscious, Fennore glanced back over his shoulder to see Pyorin and Sunthraze looking innocent. The old ex-priest went on. "But even you can't seduce a man to our side, not under such circumstances, and within the Black Temple of all places…" then his perverted smile widened, "unless… you have some demon fetish we don't yet know about." He winked at Saturna.
Why some succubus hadn't stolen Fennore off to her lair months ago back in Hellfire Peninsula baffled the other three Bloodknights. Saturna, Sunthraze and Pyorin shared a cautious look. It was a joke they'd made before when Fennore was sleeping… Sunthraze was right that the only reason the ex-priest was still with them was because Fennore would have to be the one convincing the succubus.
"It is a bad idea to continue." Pyorin smoothly changed the subject. He shrugged his shoulders to balance the weight of his massive shield. "Even if we get past The Betrayer's guards, how do we know that Prince Kael'thas will welcome our services? Perhaps he does not want to be found… he must know that his people are obsessed with his celebrity, as they always have been and are making pilgrimages across Outland just to see his face."
And those naïve Blood Elves were not much different than they. Saturna didn't say as much in response to Pyorin's correct observations, but she didn't need to. The others paused awkwardly afterwards, feeling the devotion to their Prince gnaw on their consciences. Loving Silvermoon City and the homeland was akin to loving the Prince.
Saturna walked over and stroked her horse's muzzle, just under the burnished gold face plate. "He could be in danger with… The Betrayer." The demon lord of Outland was no longer a mystery to them. All four Bloodknights understood his role in the nefarious doings in this strange world. They knew more than Lady Liadrin and perhaps Grand Magister Rommath even.
Offering to protect Prince Kael'thas, wherever he was, was supposed to be their in… then once impressed with the strength of Thalassian paladins, called Bloodknights, they could share Lady Liadrin's political goals with the Prince, ask him for favors. But, if Prince Kael'thas really was in danger, then they had absolutely no choice. Regardless of what Lady Liadrin instructed them to do, protecting the prince would now take priority. The four of Bloodknights looked over the precipice, into the foreboding region called … where the Black Temple resided. How many bloody wars had been fought over that sacred and now profane place? Draenor had been ripped apart because of it, the pathetic remnants only fitting of a name just as vague and pitiful as was the fate of this world: Outland.
Seeing the Blood Elf Scryers and the Draenei Aldor work together with the Naaru while they spent time in Shatthrath city made the universal nature of the Legion's threat clear to the Bloodknights. Outland was a place that the Draenei had fled to join the Alliance on Azeroth. They hoped to fight the Legion with that help. Almost simultaneously on Azeroth, the Alliance betrayed the Blood Elves and they joined the Horde. The Blood Elves now raced across space and time itself to take what the destitute inhabitants of Outland left behind, all to escape the Scourge and the Legion. They did not have time to go back and ask Lady Liadrin what to do now. It was very possible that they might not survive the journey back through Outland. And sending a messenger was out of the question. The information they learned was dangerous and could not be risked leaking to the Horde or the Alliance. And even if one of them went back with the message… the four Blood Elves had been hand-picked for this mission because they had such complimentary skills. It would be foolish or dangerous to break the group. Perhaps in Azeroth one of them could be strong against any test, but Outland was far more dangerous. Even Lady Liadrin could never have imagined… Now the four Bloodknights, a new sect of paladin, knew that their' people's race to leave Eversong Woods and Azeroth behind for Outland was a mad one. And, if their rough journey so far was any indication, the man they were sent to have an audience with-by slyly offering to protect him-must be even worse off… for living so close to the vile source of that madness.
Saturna re-slung her sword and mounted up again. She turned her steed Scourgebane to the east. One could see the black turrets of the temple from where they were atop the cliff. Saturna sat up straight on her mount and Scourgebane nickered to himself. Each netherworldly Thalassian charger had an odd hollow undertone to its neigh. "If we need to gain the Prince's trust, we will simply have to do something clever to earn it." A daring smile stretched across perfect lips, then faded. "From now on, when we speak of the Lord of Outland…" Her rich commanding voice grew soft. "We will call him Lord Illidan. For, to serve our Prince, we must honor his alliance. We will have no choice." She urged Scourgebane forward. "Furthermore… if anyone can truly help Prince Kael'thas, it would be a Master of the Light. He has four saviors now…" her voice trailed off as she descended.
Pyorin, their dutiful tank was exceptionally loyal and fell in behind Saturna immediately. Fennore sighed and guided his charger along as well. Sunthraze delayed the longest. Bright green eyes flashed angry at the putrid chartreuse of the fel sunset.
"Oh lovely Saturna. If I didn't enjoy watching you ride so much…" he forced himself to joke against the sinking feeling in his gut. Sunthraze the Sly clucked his tongue at the Thalassian charger underneath him to follow suit.
That evening at the Black Temple...
Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider floated in and out of the painful but brilliant arcane haze. His strong body now felt heavy and sloven. The magic pushed at his skin from the inside, threatened to erupt out of every pore in his body. He smiled and laughed. Then Lianna bit his neck and he wanted to scream. It would not be an unwelcome sound in the Black Temple...
