Continuing my sacred duty to rip every clip that lives in my head rent-free and isn't already on YouTube. Love these two weirdos

It is a fundamental rule of fiction that if a baby is born, it will be in the least convenient place possible such as in a cab or an elevator.
As a result a fictional cab drivers have so often had to deliver babies that if you have a named cab driver in a long running series they have at one point delivered a baby in their cab, unless like in the 70s/80s sitcom Taxi all of the other main characters are cabbies. In such a case, only the most prominently featured cabbie (Alex Reiger) will have delivered a baby.
Moon Knight was created in 1975 and has been featured in his own comics and other superhero comics since, sometimes showing up to drive characters such as Captain America and the Thing in his cab.
Therefore, Jake Lockley has definitely delivered a baby in his cab, whether it's actually been shown in the comics or not.

The most hilarious part of this is realizing that Jim actually hasn’t been high the entire time he’s been on the show. He’s just like that.

Alex Reiger from Taxi is Artie's dad and I don't take constructive criticism.

Alex Reiger and Louie DePalma, Sunshine Cab Company, 1977. The original pilot for Taxi was wild. Very different from the TV show.

I didn’t have access to my blog during the actual Emmys but here’s a picture from 1983 when Judd Hirsch won Best Lead Actor in a Comedy for Taxi and Shelley Long won Best Lead Actress in a Comedy for Cheers. I love both of them, their roles, and series themselves.
