Buio, insegue una berlina in fuga che ha investito un bambino, con una mano guida e con l'altra digita il numero del pronto intervento sul cellulare, gli risponde una voce femminile: -Polizia.- Afferma, -Cazzo!- Risponde lui adrenalinico, -Sono dietro a un tizio che ha appena messo sotto un ragazzino.- -Abbiamo la segnalazione,- Risponde sterile la voce, -La giro subito alla pattuglia più vicina.- La conversazione viene interrotta dallo stridolio elettrico del suono di latenza, intanto davanti la berlina compie una curva secca, lui distratto quasi esce di strada, poi la berlina sterza e prende a tutta velocità per un vialino sterrato, ora sono in aperta campagna, lui segue a qualche lunghezza di distanza, il vialino non è illuminato, e la berlina davanti ha i fari spenti, i suoi fari seguono sempre più fatica il suo posteriore. Poi la berlina sterza in un campo e compie un testa coda, le due vetture convergono una verso l'altra, lui si attacca disperatamente ai freni, l'auto si arresta a una spanna dal muso della berlina. Ha il cuore in gola, l'unica cosa che avverte è il suo respiro strozzato nel chiuso dell'abitacolo. Sente sbattere uno sportello, poi in un lampo e in un colpo il suo parabrezza va in frantumi.

We can't see any Plymouth lettering. So it will probably be, since a Swiss car, a Valiant Signet assembled there by Automontage Schinznach AG in painstaking manual work with Swiss windows, carpets, seats, radiators etc. Powered by the 2.8 liter Slant Six engine, the car was sold somewhat pompously as a Chrysler, as the Plymouth brand was unknown there at first.

„MONTAGE SUISSE – Mehrwert durch Schweizer Montage“ („Added value through Swiss assembly") was their advertising slogan. And indeed, the rust prevention was significantly better than in the American models. Likewise, more reliable electrics were provided.

I kind of like this fishy car: Amphicar 770 (1961–1968), the little man's whimsical yacht, constructed by Hans Trippel. A bowl of grease has always belonged on board. After every trip on the water, 13 nipples had to be lubricated. On solid ground, an estimated 120 km/h was the reward, in the water up to 6.5 knots.
