If the aliens from the Alien franchise have acid for blood wouldn't that make them particularly vulnerable to basic substances? Like, acid-base reactions go both ways. If anything, they'd be more vulnerable to bases than we are to acids.
If you're being chased by a xenomorph you should be able to just throw some baking soda or bleach in their face and turn them into a science fair volcano.
Facehugger? Sounds like yet another use for Arm & Hammer. Slap it on there!
Flamethrowers? Fuck that, soap dispensers!

Xenomorph x injured reader part 2/2
The queen had a lovely nest. It was soft and squishy, just like his queen was! He loved the softness of her world, how she surrounded herself with softness and wore it, making her soft. It was so foreign to him, but also all he knew. He’d never lived on the home world or experienced the true nest, he had only the memories of warmth before his birth.
This planet was surely the most beautiful, with soft dirt that was fun to dig in and full of creatures that ducked and weaved through the planet’s greenery. Some things tasted fine, others tastes like dead things and memories.
He loved to stare at the sky with his queen, his tail wrapped loosely around her leg to keep her close and safe. She would laugh, run her fingers along his shoulder ridges and ask him if he was looking towards home. Little did she know, he had already found it.
-
The sky was angry.
There was a peace to the planet of his queen. There was no war cries shaking the sky or eternal darkness that felt cold and pervasive. There was a fire in the sky, two fires of hot and cold, and an occasional breath of the planet that gently shook the trees and stirred up the scents of the earth.
His queen was much like her home world, peaceful, surprising, beautiful.
But his queen had an anger to her, one fitting for any queen. She snarled back when he got too defiant, standing up to him despite her size. He would always shrink back and lower his fluke in apology. A forgiving queen. His old queen would have ripped him apart for such insolence.
His queen taught him about being brave.
The first time the sky fell was terrifying. It wasn’t like the cold that were small pieces of the clouds that covered the earth like a blanket and made him sleepy. It was a thing of wrath, a sky angry and hissing and snapping down at him. The sky lit up like white fire, followed by the bellow of a monster in the sky, and he tore into the house to find safety with his queen.
“It’s just rain, hon.” She pat his fluke, sighing at the wet he’d tracked in. He understood her well these days! It was a dialect he’d never be able to copy, but his queen understood him just fine.
Rain? What was rain? Was it like the cold? Was the very sky itself falling this time? He could still hear it drumming, like the warning taps of a nestguards claws on the hive floor.
His queen started for the door, still open and letting the wet in. No! He grabbed her leg and tried to pull her back, hesitant to use much force but desperate to keep her safe.
“Down! It’s okay, it’s just rain.” She shook free of him, mindful of his long claws as she stepped out into the night.
He shrieked after her, stopping out the door and calling out to the dark night she had disappeared into.
She stood in front of their home nest, arms spread wide and head pointed towards the sky as the sky rained down.
She was amazing.
She didn’t flinch as the sky lit up, letting out a cry of pure elation as the beast in the sky rumbled and shook the earth below them, the very trees quaking as she stood tall. The rain soaked her, her clothes, the softs she covered herself in, pressed tight to her skin and a smile emblazoned across her face. Her skin was slick, shining against the night.
“It’s okay!” She yelled out to him, unperturbed by the wet earth as she stepped closer.
He inched closer, shaking in his plating as he crawled out into the furious anger of the sky.
It’s felt…strange. It was sensation over his entire body, tiny pokes along his fluke and back and across his tail, faint sensations though heavy armour and thick skin. It was overwhelming, a whirlwind of sound and thought and feeling, and all he could see was Her, and She was all that is.
And then, she was gone.
Her cry cut through the night like the sky lights and shook him like the great beast. His human never made that noise, it was a noise of pain.
He tore into the full fury of the storm, hands sinking into the wet sucking earth that clung and smeared along his smooth skin as fast as it was washed away.
There was another.
He should have known he wasn’t the only one.
Shadow had never seen another of his kind, but the hive mind still echoed in his head despite its end, and memories of similar ones to himself stalking black halls and snarling with curled lips. That saying, he knew what another of his kind was, and this was one.
It was slightly larger than him, with slightly lighter skin and armour that was gouged and dented by old injury that lightly glowed. It snarled, sounding like the sky as it pinned the Queen to the earth and reared back.
No!
He pounced before he could even think, tapping in to some buried instinct and biting down as hard as he dared. The blood wouldn’t burn him, but the Queen was close, too close. He wouldn’t ever risk hurting her.
Fighting was like breathing, instinct to rip and tear while shrieking and whistling. It was a cacophony of sound and chaos and movement, slashing claws and flashing teeth. He could hear his Queen screaming her war cry, kicking at the intruder on top of him whenever they were still. He called for her to leave, but she was always stubborn about listening to his language.
To be born. To live. To die. All was to be in survive of the hive. Service to the queen.
Kill. Defend. Kill. Protect the queen. Protect the hive. Kill. Defend.
A lone xenomorph was useless, only capable of mindless destruction until insanity. A lone xeno was feral.
This morph had never served a queen, never found his own hive after the collapse. His echo was one of madness and fury, a need to tear everything apart and wreck havoc for the sake of it. Feral, with gnashing teeth that scored across his skin and gouged his armour, this was what he should have become.
Language meant nothing the the beast, and pleads to leave them be fell on deaf ears. This wasn’t a brother or a fellow creature, this was a monster. He would have to kill it to protect his queen, or they would never be safe.
The other Xenomorph went for his throat trying to rip it out in its mindless fury, but instead it’s teeth tore away leather. There was a shimmer of metal as the gift from his queen was torn away and thrown to the side as if it was scraps and not the most precious thing aside from the queen herself.
He shrieked, a call that shook the sky as the light lit the forest around them once again, and he butt them as hard as he could, gaining the advantage.
Tear. Rip. Kill! Defend! Tear! Kill!
He ripped away plating from the soft skin underneath, the crying and twitching beneath him white noise as the earth shook. His smaller mouth clamped down on the thing’s windpipe as his jaws crushed its throat, and he wrenched his head back with all the force he had. The gurgling squeal rang through the storm as acid sprayed and claws dug into the earth.
It writhed, rolling in the dirt and slamming into a tree that it’s blood ate through, sending the great protrusion of earth crashing down onto it. It screamed, and then went blissfully silent as it was crushed, the cracked splintering and blood making it sink into the earth.
Victory.
Shadow screamed out to the heavens at the sky fell around him, showering him in its glory.
“Shadow!“
He was brought back the the moment like the snap of teeth, skittering away from the queens hands and running off into the night. His skin was stained with acid, forcing him to roll in the earth until it had all singed into the earth before he could return home. Injuries ached where teeth had torn through or claws had found gaps in his playing, dripping and sizzling onto the earth. He was a danger.
A boom, different from the sky booms, lured him back home.
The queen had a special stick, the boom stick, that made a loud noise and made animals fall dead. Usually she didn’t use the stick, she didn’t need to when she had an apex predator to hunt for her, but the boom meant to come home. She used it when a hunt went on too long and her echo looked like worry, or when the sky was dark and she needed him to came and protect her.
She stood in the rain still, soaked to the skin with hair plastered to her head and eyes dark with fear and pain. Her boom stick was pointed towards the trees, but they were on him as he slunk home. Her top clothes were gone and a burn scored her arm, acid.
He felt a shame that threatened to crush him, pressing in on all sides. It was his fault she was hurt, his fault she had gone into the rain. She had tried to prove her world wasn’t to fear, and instead had seen the fear that came to this world with him, the monster he was.
However, she dropped her stick and ran towards him, arms wrapping around him tightly and a cry animalistic and pained ripping from her as she held him.
She was…raining?
She continued to rain as she pulled him inside, drying off the wet with a square of cloth and raining on his fluke with little hitched cries that hurt him on the inside.
She repeated his name over and over, petting and pressing his mouth to his head and face, telling him she loved him and that he was the best boy. He didn’t feel like the best, still eyeing the closed door as if another morph would burst in, but he accepted her praise until her rain stopped.
He pat her cheeks with the cloth until the wet was gone, softly trilling and bumping against her as she let out a low little sound of a laugh and held him again.
She should be disgusted by him, afraid of him and the teeth that had ripped a creature of his own kind apart, but instead she seemed to love him more than ever. He enjoyed the love word, how it felt when she spoke it and he felt it in the air.
This was home.
Now that he knew he wasn’t the only one left, this paradise wasn’t a safe place anymore. He had a queen to defend, a hive, a family. He loved his queen, and he would rip any intruder apart.
He nosed at her injuries gently, careful around them and scared of making it worse as she dressed them with more cloth and a jelly that tasted like chemicals. She pet his head and told him she’s be fine, but he knew that humans scarred easily, and they would never have the option to forget tonight.
He slept as far as he dared, healing wounds a present danger to his squishy little queen, but he woke to her on the ground with him, hand in his claws.
To live, to die. All was in service to the queen.
He wouldn’t have of any other way.
