Anon, I deleted your ask about a medschool AU by accident! Sorry!

It's still a little too triggering for me- I cant watch scrubs or greys anatomy or the resident or ER- bc my experience was not like that. My experience was very, very bad.

But I do want to record it somehow. Weave it into stories- and my current plan is doing it as a halloween / horror vibe. Nick is a resident, June is a nurse- little bit of magical realism, not sure if he's going mad or haunted or cursed or what.

But it's way down the list- I want to spend the next 3 weeks until the kids are out of school finishing up older projects and working on new stuff- but yes, I hear you I agree they would work in a medical setting. They'd work anywhere honestly. I see them in every story. So thank you for the ask!

And I'm sorry you're in the system too. God bless you. My heart goes out to you. Keep yourself safe, even if it means you have to walk away. Doctors often kill themselves- directly, or passively with addiction- instead of asking for help. Asking for help is something that is trained out of us during the abuse.
