All-Stars -Story Mode- CHAPTER 16 Part 2

Sorry for the wait guys, I had to put half of this chapter in this piece of this post, I will put in the rest of it in the next one, I had mentioned the credit of one of the artists here but do not worry, the rest of my friend’s beautiful artwork will be revealed so when I post this, I will post another one.

They had fled to a store in North Plaza, it’s a hardware store and big enough to house at least thirteen people for a little while as Dell closes the store door with the bell dinging that made him tensed and praying not a single zombie is out there, hearing that and coming over to see where they are.

They had no idea if those people they had abandoned in the Entrance Plaza had escaped, they had no idea how many several people were alive when that old woman had urgency opened the doors in a strong rush to save her dog.

He then turned to everyone and then said, “Well, this outbreak escalated quickly.” as he scratches the back of his neck.

“Outbreak?!” Ultimis Dempsey said, nearly shouted at him, “It already escalated that quickly last night, Engie!”

“Dempsey, calm down.” Primis Richtofen groaned in exhaustion, stumbling onto a wall as he slowly realized that he had used up his energy when they all ran from the zombies that are now in the mall.

Dempsey looked at him with confusion and realized this as well when he noticed the state the German is in and raised his eyebrow a bit.”Ya’ll okay, Richtofen #2?” he asked.

“I-I am fine, Dempsey, just- I am just tired.” he muttered as he slid down and letting himself hitting the floor as his arms on his sides and before rubbing his shoulders to keep himself awake a little longer, David Tapp kneeled down to the Doctor with equal worriment.

“Doc, I think you had just pushed yourself too hard,” David said as he placed his hand on the Doctor’s shoulder as he looked at him in this tired state.

“You look stressed, Edward,” Shaw said as he kneeled down as well and before sitting down with him while David Tapp gets up and then goes over to Amanda and Miss Pauling, reaching his pocket for a metal box and opens it and takes what looks like a pill out and then takes it.

Richtofen looked over with his tired eyes that are struggling to stay awake a little longer and he stutters “N-n-n-”

“Take this” he then offered.

“I’m good, Shaw. Really.” he refused kindly yet firmly, Shaw raised an eyebrow a little at this, “You’re lying…” he spoke as he crossed his arms while looking at him. “Are you sure?”

Being stressed and tired he was, Richtofen only replied “Not on mein or your life, Shaw.” and Shaw simply smiled at the answer and said “That is what my friend had once said that after I had first encountered them, the undead in zhe temple.”

“In a temple?”

“With Alistar Rhodes, the father of Scarlett Rhodes who saved me from the Germans like yourself and Medic when an accident had taken most of the captain’s men’s lives as I didn’t know that due to the leak, he wanted to learn what the power of creation itself was,” Shaw explained as he placed the metal box back in his pocket.

“Und zhat is…?” the German asked.

“The Prima Materia in my universe, my friend.” Shaw answered as he stood back on his feet with little trouble, then looked down to Richtofen and said “Best to get some rest, Richtofen, we will talk more about it later.” before walking away to Engineer’s side as he was building something on a workbench.

Richtofen is in defeat, on the verge to sleep once again as his eyes are fluttering to a close with a second of this and him thinking with a little about this.

“Maybe…” he thought as his attention to the floor in a haze as he slowly closes his eyes, “Just a little rest zhen I vill be vell rested.” and he closed his eyes... The smell of ash hits him right away, then blood and death in the air that he smelled beside that other and he slowly woke up with his eyes darted around the area, the familiar dead forest around him.

He’s back, back in that burned forest and the snowing ash from the sky. In a minute of rush without hesitation, he got up from the tree that his back was pressed against and looked around then looked down.

He is wearing the same clothes and necklace when he first came into his Wonderland in his mind and that necklace as usual, is Delta.

“Verdammt!” he muttered as he looked around the area and then looked at himself again and found a knife tucked away in it’s hoist, just waiting to be used once more by the Doctor. He growled at the sight, he took it and then threw it away far from him in anger.

He panted but then looked and saw the knife is in that same thigh holster once again, “WAS!?” He growled in gritted teeth when he saw it, he grabbed on the handle and readied himself to throw it again but hesitated for a moment as he thought.

What if his mirrored self will find him? What if there are dangerous monsters and creatures in the area? Where was he in?

The thoughts continue to grow in his head as he looks at the knife further, the Vorpal Knife in his hands as he looks at his own reflection further as well and ultimately decides that he can’t be defenseless this time around so he places the knife back into its holster.

“In turn, the Doctor did return to his Wonderland.” a familiar voice spoke, he slowly turned around as he knew he would meet once again; The Cheshire Cat, on a fallen tree in a relaxed position like he was bored but he’s still grinning that smile.

“I had a good feeling when that rabbit of yours told me. “Hold on a moment, he will come back and be not on the rack off of his mind hanging in balance between sanity and madness.” were his exact words.” he soothed in rhymes of his words.

“I thought zhe White Rabbit belonged to Alice.” Richtofen interjects.

“Tisk, task on your own risk, habit in your endeavors. She has created her White Rabbit first and you had been the second to imagine your own White Rabbit based off of the man you met.” he explained further to the confused man.

“You mean Stanton Shaw?”

“Yes indeed, your rabbit is the version of Shaw, and I thought about this behavior of yours is what I saw.” Cheshire Cat concluded as he got up and stretched.

“Enough of zhis,” the Doctor sneered, “Vhy am I here? Vhy am I being trapped in my own mind?”

“Reasons,” Cheshire Cat began, “Reasons are for you to figure out, nothing that the four seasons will help you with your reflection, who is broken and mad for something that had happened in your past.”

Richtofen looked around the area and slowly remembers it now, “Zhis place… I remember, zhis vas mein world, v-vell in my mind when I vas a child und… Zhis is vhat it is now.” he muttered as he walked ahead and seeing this with his eyes.

“It was burned,” Cheshire Cat said as he hopped off the tree and then followed with the German on an ash-covered road, “And then it had turned something that was once a beautiful into the twisted realm.”

Richtofen stopped as he looked down to see a withered flower, he picked it and then looked at it, an black smudge leaked out of the stem and then the flower turned to dust in the wind.

“Once vas…” Richtofen said as he felt the dust on his gloved fingers, then looked at the path ahead of him, fog was there covering the distance and had made it impossible for him, the sounds from the forest was barely enough for him to hear and he looked around the area.

“Indeed it once was, if you want to adventure further in your mind, you must be on hind legs of the one who will lead you to the destination.”

“Hello, Doctor Richtofen.” Another familiar voice said, Richtofen turned to see who it was and it was the White Rabbit Shaw, Richtofen’s version of Alice’s.

“Shaw!”

“I had been waiting because I refused to give up on you when I realized I had lost you.” Rabbit Shaw explained as he hopped forward to him a little, Richtofen fired back “You disappeared vhile I vas trying to catch up to you.”

“I didn’t realize that I had lost you!” he said, defensively as he crossed his arms before checking his pocket watch and his ears perked upward when he saw what time was. “We need to go right now, we will argue this later as we must meet the Queen.”

“Zhe queen? You mean-?” Richtofen was beginning to say but Rabbit Shaw then answered that question before it could be finished. “The Queen of Hearts but she will not be as you are afraid of. I can promise you that."

Richtofen was confused to hear that but Rabbit Shaw then said "Now, please follow me close this time." And then turned his back but turned his head back to see if Richtofen would agree.

He was confused but he nodded the White Rabbit to that idea and he saw him smile.

He then hopped away then stopped to see if the Doctor was following and he was, running after him as he panted.

He shook his head and said to him "Do please remind me to make you a potion that will make you run faster next time."

Richtofen painted but he nodded as he and the Rabbit ran off but this time Rabbit Shaw ran on his hind legs in a pace of a human running so Richtofen can be right beside him.

The air stile that was filled with ash had gotten chilly as the duo soon walked into another island.

The island itself was a red, black and white garden, it was nice and wet with a neighboring forest as it was near a castle that belongs to the Queen of Hearts with a garden, it had beautiful flowers and plants growing and blooming everywhere like the first day of Spring finally.

Richtofen breathed in the fresh air as he closed his eyes while the White Rabbit had picked up an empty cylinder bottle and then tucked into his pocket.

"Zhe air is fresh here."

“Indeed Edward,” Rabbit Shaw said as he looked at one of the roses, looking through them carefully until he spots a blue rose, he picked it, he searched his bag for something and pulls out a mortar and pestle that is used to make medicine and spices and then plucked each petal and thorn before placing them into the bowl.

Richtofen looked over to see what Rabbit Shaw was doing as he pulled out a bottle that had a label that read “blood of the Jikky-Chockly frog” before pulling the cork out and then poured the grayish pink blood onto the said mortar.

“Vhite Rabbit, vhat are you doing?” Richtofen asked.

“Making a potion for you to use.”

“Vhat kind?”

Rabbit Shaw only begins to mash up the ingredients in the bowl with a pestle about 32 times before stopping after he felt satisfaction and smelled an odd odor coming from it, Richtofen smelled it as well and renched a little.

“Pardon me, Shaw but it smelled like blood und-”

“Blood and bat urine? Of course, it’s a sign that it’s nearly ready to be finished after mashing it 32 times to make sure that the petals of the rare blue rose of Reappearance with the thorns is mashed so it can be soaked with the blood of Jikky-Chockly frog that I had taken a sample of,” he answered quickly to the Doctor as he searched through his bag once more and then pulled out a small bag.

He opened it up and then pulled out a small orange leaf and put it in the mortar as he muttered “Now with the leaf of Disappearance…” and then used the pestle to mash it a little but then stirs it to mix as the German watched on.

“It had taken me a month to master this mix in potion-making,” the White Rabbit said as he stopped and then searched his bag once again then smiled as he pulled out a metal container before he opened it and pulled out two wings of a moth of a strange kind.

“This is no moth you know of, Richtofen, these are Gab-Split moth wings, fresh from a dead corpse of the recent one.”

“Vhat does it do?” Richtofen asked out of curiosity as he placed his hand on his chin and rubbing it with a thumb as Rabbit Shaw lets go of it and watched it gently float down onto the bowl.

“Gab-Split moth can separate itself into smaller counterparts to feed on any clothing made from wool and silk even cotton, after having their dinner; they come back together and merged back into the original one before,” he said as he mushed it gently in the mortar with the pestle as the wet dust that is strangely blackish green color had slowly turned cyan as it glowed and the dust turned watery liquid.

He got out the empty bottle he had found earlier and a short glass funnel, he placed onto the entrance of the bottle before pouring the mixture into the bottle while he spoke: “I know, it may appear finished and smelled much like more blood and bat piss but it can’t be drinked yet.”

“Vhy is-”

“It must be shaken up in order to finish it, then it will be ready to drink safely.” he quickly said his answer, taking out the funnel and then plugs it with the cork for the bottle that is 30*80mm, 1.18x3.14inches, 40ml, Mini and Small that can fit in the palm of a hand and the paw of a rabbit.

Rabbit Shaw handed it to him and said “If you need to know by “Shaken up `` that you need to jump at least five times to shake it.”

“I had learned how to jump but-”

“Shh, quiet.'' The Rabbit said as his ear perked upward, then jumped higher to see what was coming their way and saw someone in armor walking through a maze, a man in armor had metallic ears and they shone in the light of the sun.

He landed, turned to Richtofen and said “We have to go, go through the maze!” in a whisper as he grabbed the German by the hand before entering the maze.

Richtofen, confused, followed him through the maze as the maze itself was twisting, turning and circling, branching and rooting like a carnival with far too much time in its hands. The Doctor was nauseated and confused to see and go through the maze that acted as the Devil’s staircase itself but Rabbit Shaw seemed to know the way through the garden maze from insanity-filled hell.

There were footsteps from behind them flinching them with a catch of breath, sticks broke whoever was following them but not too close yet it felt like it to them. “If I slightly remember where the exit was…” the White Rabbit muttered as he looked around their surroundings and found a clearing that leads to the Castle of Hearts so they both ran for it but the exit was closed off by thorny vines blocking their escape from the maze.

“No! Not now!” he cried out, Richtofen looked at the wall of thorns and acting quick, he took out the Vorpal knife and then began to hack away the vines. Rabbit Shaw looked at the futile attempt to get them out of the maze but turned to see the man he dreaded, a man wearing armor with a dog-like helmet that covered his head like his was within a metal dog head whose mouth is zig-zagged that made it more menacing.

“You…”

Richtofen stopped when he heard that familiar voice calling out to the duo, he turned in shock with his eyes widened towards the merciless knight. “You came to hurt the Queen? To hurt my daughter, don’t you…?” he growled.

“No, we don’t!” Rabbit Shaw started to say before being cut off, “No! You freakbags are lying! You’re going to hurt her! I-I can tell! And I can’t let you hurt her!” he was angrily yelling at them as it pulled out a sword.

“V-Vait!” he yelled as he ran in front of the White Rabbit, armed with the knife as he held it in both hands that were shaking as he was afraid that he knew who he was going to fight against to defend himself and Shaw. “Ve had no idea zhat ve vere doing but ve need to-”

Before he could have a chance to finish the sentence, the knight yelled out a battle cry and raised his sword up high and then brought it down onto the Doctor but Richtofen yelled as well and then used the Vorpal Knife to defend himself.

Boss Encounter! Knight Dempsey

A spark ignited as both blades collided and Richtofen had used his strength to keep the blade of the sword from making contact on his head but this man was stronger than him, then the Doctor was kicked in the gut and fell onto the ground with a grunt. But he jumped back on his feet as he recalled what the Rabbit had said to him after he gave him the potion.

One

He grabbed tightly on the knife as he counted the first jump from the ground and then got into a fight position with a knife as he stood his ground. “I vouldn’t want to do zhis…” he muttered as he stepped over his own foot then over the other as he and the knight danced in a circle.

Knight Dempsey said nothing as he glared daggers at the German with his hands gripping tightly on the sword but then charged at the Dead Wonderer as Richtofen had jumped out of the way for the Knight to chop through a wall of bushes that are used as a maze.

Two

Rabbit Shaw stood back from the fight as he noticed this, he nodded and knew what Richtofen had known when he was doing. The Knight swings the sword at the Doctor again as he dodged as he tried slashing at his legs but German jumped again to keep his legs intact.

Three

Richtofen backed up to get away from the Knight’s further attacks as he lashed out and tried to get the trespasser who entered his grounds and deemed dangerous to the Queen if he let him live but the only bad thing Doctor Richtofen and Rabbit Shaw did was to stop in front of the maze, then entered and was denied escape by the thorn vines.

“Stay. Still!!” he yelled as he ran at him with the sword raised sky-high in an insane dash, determined to chop him into nothing more but bits of what was going to be left of him if he managed to get him with his sword.

He then brought it back down to Richtofen but he just jumped to the right side,

Four

And rolled over before jumping upright once again as he gripped on the knife tightly in one hand and the other clenching onto the bottle in his pocket.

“Richtofen, it’s ready!” Rabbit Shaw yelled as Richtofen was backing up to the leafy wall while dodging the attempted hacking and slashing at him with failure, Richtofen waited for a fresh moment of truth as he backed up until he felt the leaves touch his back and his neck with a soft feeling.

“Drink it Edvard….” Richtofen muttered to himself as he watched the blade of the sword reach his throat, the base of his neck and then watched it going up high with intent to chop him in half.

But before it could make contact, Richtofen saw his chance and then drinks it very quickly as the unbearable taste of the potion met his tongue and down his throat before he wrenched from the feeling of puking the ground with his stomach acid that is making an odd something in his intestine track and it was crawling through them.

The feeling reached his throat and felt a lump bulge in his throat, he put his hand on his throat to feel it but then decided that he instead covers his hand to catch what it was that is trying to crawl out of his throat and he throws up am grayish-blue liquid onto his gloved hand and licked something that is thick and furry crawling through his mouth and onto his hand with a feeling of not two, not four but six legs on the palm and some of his fingers.

His body was shaken before stopping but his hand that was on his mouth was still shaken and moved away from it for the Doctor to see what he had thrown up and right there…. Was a blue-purple Gab-Split Moth in the palm of his hand.

[Drawn digitally by Icefir] Its wings had unfurled and on them together was a nightmarish face looking back at him like it was taunting him with great joy of hurt and distress.

“Richtofen! Now!” Rabbit Shaw shouted as he stood in front of the vines with thorns, “Do vhat exactly?!” he yelled as he watched the knight again as the moth very quickly flew away from his hand.

“Congregate Edward! Use the power that potion has given you!”

Richtofen had no another idea what the White Rabbit had might but right now there is no other choice in the matter as he was still thunder-struck by the feeling from drinking the potion he drank from, the Knight then brought the sword down on the German as he closed his eyes, cornered and doomed, he braced himself for the sharp impact…

*Strange… You didn’t feel any metal sharp object cutting into you.

Richtofen opened his eyes to see he is standing right next to the Rabbit and he was dismayed, taken aback even as he recalled that he was in between Knight Dempsey and the wall of the Maze itself but then he figured it out:

He had teleported, he had split himself into small Gab-Split moths and flew towards Rabbit Shaw and came back together as a human man once again. Richtofen uses his hands to feel his face before his neck and then the rest of himself before letting out a sigh of relief.

“You did it!” Rabbit Shaw gasped as he looked at him up and down in shock, “You focused your energy on the potion’s power! Now use it to go through the vines!” he told him as he held his hand and pointed at the vines.

Richtofen looked at him and then picked him up by the coat as he protested but the German refused to listen as he ran towards the barricade of thorns and then he focused his energy onto the newfound power to phase through the plant.

Like what had happened this time, his eyes that are green and blue turned lime green and then both he and Shaw both spliced up into multiple moths and all of them flew through the vines.

Just as the Knight ran towards them and strikes on the vines and chopped multiple ones as it didn't cut through enough to make a way through it as he watched as moths came back together as Richtofen and the White Rabbit on the other side.

Knight Dempsey stood there in silence for a moment, just a moment of him giving them a coldest glare that Richtofen had ever seen through the helmet but then he lets out a yell of rapid furious wail as he briskly power-walked away back into the twisted accelerated maze as he continues yelling before his voice becomes keened and harsh and it kept fading into the maze until it can’t be heard anymore.

*You have survived but he’ll be back…

“You idiot!” Rabbit Shaw scolded, “You bloody idiot! You could’ve got me split into pieces!” he yelled as Richtofen looked at him before the Rabbit jumped onto his chest to hold him by the collar to support himself when he berates the doctor.

“That was reckless! That was severe! That was… That was…” then he chuckled in relief and joy to be alive as he said this “That was amazing!”

“Amazing…?” Richtofen shushed under his breath, he had never heard someone or someTHING had said that before and by thinking about it, he felt like he was congregated by this incident.

“I d-did it… Amazing?” he stuttered, pointing at himself as he looked back at the vines while Rabbit Shaw hops off of his chest and then dusts it off as Richtofen was lost in his mind. “I did an amazing job?” he asked again as Rabbit Shaw nodded as he seemed annoyed when Richtofen had kept repeating his question.

“Of course, you had focused that energy into the potion I had made and that you finished it with five jumps but there’s something I was surprised about.” Rabbit Shaw questioned as he then adjusted his hat and suit a little bit before cleaning his one piece of glass that is already on his eyes.

“Vhat is zhat, Shaw?”

“The potion could’ve worn itself off right about now but…” he was trailed off when he noticed the Delta necklace and there is one different detail about it, it had a similar shape of the symbol but it’s glowing and transparent as it was a little bigger than the metal bronze pendant yet nearly about the same size as it.

“Your pendant.”

“Mein pendant?” he said as he placed his gloved hand to it, holding onto the piece of metal and he felt a strange presence from it, he then held it to see it and was dazzled to see a light-blue aura that glows softly. “How can this be powering up the…” Rabbit Shaw begins to theorize this when Richtofen asked: “Vhy are you zhinking Shaw?”

The rabbit looked at the man before him and asked “Your pendant.” as he had his gloved paw out, the Doctor was a bit skeptical about the Rabbit’s intentions with it.

“I won’t run off with it,” Shaw reassured him softly as he looked at him with the desire of looking into it. With a sigh, Richtofen took the necklace off and then handed it to Rabbit Shaw as it was still glowing.

“Can it be…?” he muttered as he looked at the pendant as he had his paw dig through his bag and then pulled out a small leather-bound book and then opened it to find a section where he would read something about the Delta pendent’s strange reaction.

Richtofen raised an eyebrow as he sat down on his rear with his arms hugging his legs while he waited until he heard him yell “Ha!” and Richtofen looked at him and said, “Have you found vhat it vas?”

“I had learned that this is like her’s, the necklace had grabbed the potion’s power.” Shaw answered as he held the Delta necklace before handing it back to him, Richtofen puts it back on his neck and then looked at the White Rabbit before saying “Vhat made you say zhat?”

“Well, this,” he said as he showed him the book and there it was with the other two greek symbols; Α Alpha and Ω Omega with the Delta Δ which was on the bottom of the page.

Richtofen read over the sector of the page and learned that the power on each mental necklace is what is making the Delta pendant glowing in the first place as Shaw said “That same power is in that necklace, same thing as Alice’s Omega pendant.”

“Und zhat means if it vas zhe pendent-”

“That necklace has taken the potion’s power so you can be able to use it in the future,” he explained to the German as he places his hands on the ground behind to support himself up a little more as Rabbit Shaw stands up as he closes and places the book back into his handbag.

He then looked at the castle once again and said “The queen must be here in the castle, she must be in there, must be.” as it turned into mumbling that Richtofen could hardly make out from his words.

The Rabbit seemed to notice that he was mumbling when he looked at Richtofen with his ears perked upward to acknowledge it, “Oh, sorry, was I mumbling?” he asked as he looked at him strangely with his ears folded downward. “It is slowly becoming a habit of mine, it happens when I do that, Richtofen,” he said as he scratched his left arm with his braced leg, he groaned in pain softly when he did that.

Richtofen looked at him for a moment before saying “Alright zhen, I had mumbled zhings under mein breath as vell.” as he shook his head before looking at the castle again. “Do zhink zhat-”

Rabbit Shaw only replied “She is here, I am sure of it.” as he looked back at the castle once again, his contrasting eye glowed and he groaned as he placed his paw on it, Richtofen looked at the White Rabbit when he heard him groan.

“Are you alright?”

“Y-Yes, I will be alright, Edward. No need to worry.” the White Rabbit answered quickly with a sheepish smile. Richtofen looked at Shaw and then at the pendant as he then held it, wondering if Rabbit Shaw was right about the power it holds then he believed it’s best to use it wisely. -After finding a way into the castle-

They both walked down the hall as the chanting was getting louder when they first entered the castle, the chanting had started faint at first but as they progressed further into the hallway and more it began grew louder as they walked towards the throne room.

The chanting was getting more and more clear, the chantings were “All hail! All hail! All hail the Queen of Hearts! All hail! All hail!”

They reached the large double doors in this seemingly endless hallway of the Castle, they approached the door as Richtofen one door on his left and waiting for Rabbit Shaw to go over to another door on the right.

Rabbit Shaw nodded as he placed his paw on the door, Richtofen placed his hand on the other door and then they slowly pushed them open to see what was on the other side of the two doors.

They saw a crowd with gifts in their hands as they cut through them to see who Richtofen’s version of the Queen of Hearts was and kept looking around for the Knight that they had encountered earlier in the garden. They were peasants, as they looked around and saw they were all peasants and rich people had gathered in the royal throne room.

They heard a kitten squeak, Richtofen looked around for that sound as he thought that maybe someone had brought a baby kitten for the queen or maybe a strange breed of a feline?

He wasn’t sure until he could see the Queen of Hearts…. As a baby, a cute, feline kitten-like baby that squeaks like one as she had fluffy purple fur-hair and tail, her claws are dark-skin, not brown but night-dark skin and her freckles are glowing on them like they were stars while rest of her skin is normal like a human yet she does have cat-like ears that it had faded to purple to dark purple and she wearing a long-sleeved red dress with heart on the chest, with a heart-shape crown and on her lap were alphabet blocks.

Beside her was the same knight from the gardens, Knight Dempsey.

The Queen squeaks as she plays the blocks while peasants and riches walk over and give her gifts and presents whenever it’s his or her turn to give her gifts and hoped for the best like they were in line for a life-or-death game where the loser will be killed if they lose.

The kitten puts her blocks down and then grabs the first present she saw then tears the wrapping off but she was shocked to find only a pair of boring socks.

“They are made from wool-” Peasant was saying but she was only met with blocks thrown at her by the Queen of Hearts as she shrieked “Ni!!”

“Off with her head!” The Knight with the familiar voice yelled out a command but the peasant, understandably panicked, got on her knees and then crawled over to the queen on her knees as she pleaded “No please your highness! I beg forgiveness!”

The Queen hisses and then swipes at the peasant, the card-like knights are coming in but Knight Dempsey raises his hand to halt them and then says “You are warned the second time, but the third time you will pay dearly.” in a growl.

The Queen squeaks and then coiled into a ball and fell asleep with her ears down, the Doctor was relieved to see one of the peasants was spared and of course, he is worried for everyone else who was scared about the gifts they had, most of the ones they now feared will be rejected if the Queen doesn’t like what she had gotten.

“So, zhis is the Queen of Hearts.” Richtofen whispered over to Rabbit, who looked at him with his ear twitched, looking at the Queen and then the Knight carefully.

“There is one thing that is oddly related to both of them,” Shaw said as he tilted his head a little with one of his ears fell downward, pointed at the floor.

“Vhat is zhat, Rabbit Shaw?”

“They had the same eyes, both of the knight and the queen,” he said under his breath as the Queen just woke up from her nap when her ear twitched a little and then looked over to see them two but her attention is mostly towards Richtofen.

She then begins to crawl out of the throne, one foot on the floor and the other before she slides off of said-throne with a giggle as everyone in the room began to murmur what was happening. She then crawls over to her Knight, she then stands up on her two feet to grab the Knight’s leg and then squeaks to get his attention as her tail swayed behind her.

Knight Dempsey looked down and then kneeled to the Queen’s height and asked “Yes, my queen?” as he looked at her with a soft voice. The small queen then pointed at Richtofen in the crowd and the Knight looked…. And then he was immediately enraged upon seeing him.

“You!” he growled as he stormed over to the Doctor who had raised his hands in defense as he is fully aware of how his Dempsey and his Knight counterpart were capable off of and he is doubtful that a crowd of people will not stop either.

“Dempsey, please, don’t do zhis here-” he softly pleated when he was cut off when he yelled at him “I do want to break you in half!” as he grabs his sword, ready to unsheath it when they both heard a squeak.

They both looked down and saw her, the Queen of Hearts on all fours with all hairs raised like a frightened kitten, she back towards the knight, and then to the doctor before repeating what she did earlier, it didn’t took long for both men to realize what the Queen is feeling: She’s scared, she is terrified.

Slowly reason came to the Knight as it reached his eyes, his glare softened into a stare as he realized that he was scaring her and he apologized “I-I am so sorry, your highness” with smoothness and calmness in his voice.

The Queen only kept going towards and back towards one of the men, as she squeaked in fear and people, murmured as they watched on. Richtofen gently kneeled down to her level with Knight Dempsey watching him with suspicion in his eyes.

Richtofen took caution as he saw this and then he softly uttered “Walnut, calm down… Walnut.” and then he gently petted her head as her ears folded down a little and then she squeaked softly. She then held his big hand with her paws and then nibbled his hand with only one fang.

Richtofen thought about what to do next and then one option came up:

He gently tickles her belly, she giggles that earned Richtofen a smile with a thought in his mind “Exactly as I thought, a playful queen in mein- in her kingdom.”

She giggled as she lay on the floor and then when Richtofen stopped, she opened her arms wide and squeaked before the process repeated again as Dempsey watched on. Richtofen smiled a little as he remembered the bliss of innocence when he played with his newborn sister.

The Knight Dempsey whispered to one of the guards and then soon, everyone was let out of the room (more likely forced out of the room) and there’s no one but him, the guards, Richtofen, the Queen and Rabbit Shaw.

“Now go outside and guard the entrance.” the Knight ordered and pointed at the doors as well, the guards nodded and then they leave the throne room as well, then Richtofen looked around the room as he realized the room is now empty but him, the Queen, the Rabbit and the Knight before he felt the Queen tugging his sleeve to get his attention and when he looked at her, she had hold her arms out as she squeaks, she wanted to be held by someone as the Doctor looked at her and then at the Knight once again.

The Knight looked at him as the Queen squeaks once again and then nodded, giving him permission to hold her. Richtofen, being careful and cautious, he picked her up and then held her in his arms in a soft cradle as the Queen squeaks.

She clung onto one of his straps as she cooed, Richtofen smiled at her, looked at her while her ears twitched forward and back, Richtofen then looked at Dempsey and said: “She is quite cute for a queen.”

“Yeah, she is my daughter.” He laughed but then the Knight’s tone turned into seriousness as he answered “I’m serious.”

Rabbit Shaw looked at Dempsey in shock and said “The Queen is your daughter?!”

“I know, it is shocking and even the-”

“Zhe Kingdom didn’t even know about it?” Richtofen questioned as he was equally shocked as his ally, Knight Dempsey nodded as he looked down at the floor and then was silent for a moment.

“We can’t talk about it here.” he finally said, “come with me to the Queen’s room, we’ll talk more there.”

The Rabbit and Richtofen looked at each other as the baby coos in his arms, they turned to Dempsey before nodding. The Knight nodded and waved his hand to have them follow them to one of the curtains that are behind the throne with steps for the Queen to get on or off of it.

He walked over to the left side and then pulled it away to reveal a wall, it seemed to be unamazed to the Doctor but then the Knight took out a pen with strange ink in it and then draws a double door with little lines squiggles that is a little bit messy from the pen’s quilt.

He then puts it away and then he reaches the “doorknob” and then he grabs it, then turns it and pulls the door open that amazed the Doctor.

“Zhat vas impressive.” Richtofen muttered in new curiosity as he held the Queen of Hearts in his arms as her fluffy tail swayed behind her, Shaw looked up to him as he stood up from him sitting the whole time and said “I told you, Wonderland, all of us here are mad.” before walking to the opened drawn doorway. Richtofen walked in too with the Queen in his arms, then Knight Dempsey followed suit, closing the door behind him as soon as he entered the new hallway that led to the stairs that were circled and going only upward. The four (one of them is a baby being held by the German) walked over to the stairs and they began to ascend up them.

They walked up the stairs as it went on and on for what felt like forever, maybe for at least 10 decades or longer as Richtofen began to grow more tired as the Queen slept peacefully in his arms but he somewhat persevered as he took one step ahead after another.

He kept going for who knows how long and his legs began to grow more weak from continuous step-by-step on the stairs.

“We’re…” Dempsey breathed tiredly as he reached the top of this endless staircase in this tower of the Castle of Hearts and then he grabbed the doorknob ring and opened it as he said “Here!”

The Queen of Hearts then woke up with a squeal as Richtofen sighed from both exhaustion and relief as he smiled. The Knight, seeing how tired the man was from walking endlessly on the stairs and carrying his daughter so, he decided to give this stranger a break as he asked “Can I hold her?” and holding his hands out for her.

Richtofen hesitated but complied and gave the Queen into his arms, Dempsey then stepped aside and let Richtofen enter the room and where, from where he stood, fell down face first from exhaustion with a groan.

The Knight kneeled down as the baby began to fuss in his arms, he then said “I guess that’s payback for the trick ya did to me earlier.” before petting his head out of pity.

Dempsey then stood up to rock the Queen a little before walking over to the Rabbit and then asked “Can you hold her for me please?”

“O-Oh, alright then.” he stuttered as he held his arms out nervously and then he held the baby Queen in his arms as he sat down. The Queen attempts to climb on him as he tries to stop her and then she has entered his top hat on the inside. “Oh, dear…”

The Knight walked towards him and then picked up the tired Doctor as he groaned in surprise as he looked at him, he had been carried in a bridal style, not over his shoulder and not his arm over his shoulder and just him being carrying in his arms that made his face warm a little.

He was then settled down on a couch nearby and then the Knight sat on the chair in front of him and then he took off the helmet, first he opened the “mouth” that revealed his face that confirms it for him.

Yep, it is Primis Dempsey but he had created him like this in his mind and then he pulled it off of his head and then set it on the ground. He then said “So, why are you still here? If you’re not going to attack the Queen then why?”

“I… I had no idea vhy I’m here. I believe zhat I had came here because of mein past und somezhing vithin it had made me remember my… Experience from a long ago.”

Dempsey looked at the Doctor and raised an eyebrow, “Why is that?” he asked.

He sighed, “I honestly don’t know, Dempsey.” as he looked at him, “As much as I didn’t know you had a daughter as the Queen of Hearts herself. One minute I’m not here, in mein mind and zhen zhe next minute… I’m here now.``

Dempsey simply shrugged his shoulders, “Sanity here hardly exists here anymore, first when you believe what you believe from your mind other over the heart and then next thing you knew; the whole world’s gone mad.”

Richtofen chuckled as he placed his hand on his forehead, “I must’ve been mad too.” he humored, Dempsey smiled slightly yet it felt soft.

Richtofen looked up the ceiling and saw something that made his heart jolted with shock and fear, “What’s wrong?” Dempsey asked as he looked at him in confusion, he didn’t get a reply but the Doctor did point at the ceiling as the Knight looked up and saw her. The Queen, on the ceiling, with her head had turned to face him in a 360 angle.

She had crawled upward and scared Richtofen to high heaven as she giggled, Dempsey looked at his daughter with an unamused look on his face and then whistled for her to come back down. The Queen looked at her father with a squeak and then hops off the ceiling and into his arms as he shook his head with a smile.

“Trouble-making songbird you are, Terri.” He said softly as he boops her nose, earning a squeak in return from her, Richtofen tilted his head to his side towards the now-named Queen of Hearts.

“Terri? Her name is Terri?”

“Yeah, Queen Terriana of Hearts,” he said as he nodded while looking at his daughter who was snuggling against his metal chest-plate as she purred like a kitten. He gently patted her head as Shaw walked over with his hat off his head and then sat next to the Doctor, “If she is your daughter, doesn’t that make you the King?”

Dempsey looked down for a moment and then said “Not like this, the kingdom couldn’t handle the truth about this, about me and the previous Queen of Hearts had…”

The White Rabbit didn’t take too long to put this together when he had trailed off his sentence, he then said: “You and the previous queen had shared forbidden love, didn’t you?”

He said nothing but nodded with his eyes closed as Richtofen looked at him with shock and confusion but slowly he grew to understand the situation. “How did this happen, Dempsey?” he questioned as he wanted to know more about the manner that is troubling the Knight version of the marine.

“It was an accident, the Queen was meant to marry the prince but instead, she fell in love with me as I had fallen over heels for her. That resulted in Terri being made and her and the Prince was killed just after she’s born. I don’t want the kingdom to think that I had something to do with this so I had lied to the kingdom and that made our daughter the new queen and me? Still the knight.” He explained further as he looked down at the floors and said nothing after.

The Doctor and White Rabbit looked at each with a mixture of understanding and sadness in their eyes, then Richtofen looked at the clock and noticed that clock is now at

3:43

The Doctor frowned when he saw that 3 hours had passed, three hours and 26 minutes had passed while he was here and then he remembered that he had fallen asleep at around 12:17 as Rabbit Shaw and Dempsey noticed it by the look on his face.

“What’s wrong doc?”

“My allies,” Richtofen answered as he placed his hand on his head, “I have to go back to them right away but I don’t know how to.” he continued as he rubs his arms and looked down from the ticking clock as he closed his eyes for a moment.

Rabbit Shaw said nothing for a minute and then he spoke “There's one thing that you can do to get back to them but you will be shocked by it. Alice can always wait for you to come back.”

Richtofen still had his eyes closed when he heard his voice but didn’t open his eyelids to look at anyone but he was comforted by Terri’s squeaking strangely like she wanted to him to be her father yet it’s a phantom feeling so he absentmindedly said: “Vhat is zhat?”

What happened next was indeed shocking; Rabbit Shaw then said

“Open your eyes.”
