TDC Halloween AU

Ordon is the type of dad to strictly give out one piece per childling you can’t convince me otherwise

Laesid and Bellanji like to just leave the bowl out (Naia always steals it early into the night before anyone else can get it.)

Mayrin will just make the butler do it, or Seladon if she doesn’t make her take her sisters.

Skeksis usually can’t be bothered to give out candy, but when they do, they make the poddling do it and usually SkekAyuk likes to put in gross ingredients (make some candy spicey or cause burping, that sorta thing.)

Rian likes to gather all the kids who are either his friends or like to get a lot of candy and delegate them to maximize profits and all get the most candy for all of them. The older kids like Tolyn and Gurjin are sent to take them trick or treating to keep them in line, Tolyn does but Gurjin turns his eyes away or joins in.

Kylan has to remind everyone to play civil and most of the night breaks up other childling arguing over trading. He does it so much that often Tolyn has to ask for candy for his brother since Kylan is always too busy with making sure no one fights to get candy.

Juni’s house is the most popular on the block as they not only put up spooky decorations but give out full sized candy bars.

Brea likes to look up facts about the candy companies or candy in general and tell everyone as they’re getting it.

Tavra dislikes candy, but goes out to spend time with her sisters, always giving up her candy to Seladon who she knows loves candy even though she denies it.

The librarian tells stories to childling who come up to his door, often his house getting avoided as while they are spooky, they take up a lot of time.

Cadia lives across the street and does the same thing. Who’s ever trick or treaters leaves the door last wins. They try to one up each other, both having the best candy in the neighborhood and trying to get Rian to come to their door as he’s the town’s poster childling tricker treater. He never goes to either though since Ordon tells him not to and it’d be a time waster.

Deet reminds everyone not to give candy to any animals. Also brings treats of her own in case kids can’t eat candy they’re given due to health issues.

Deet’s dads don’t like giving out candy since it can exclude kids so they give out stuffed animals instead.

Rek’yr throws a party for all the adults at night. Most go to discuss the night’s events, kid’s costumes, decorations, though Mayrin and Ordon skip out to spend time with family while the rest of the adults go.

Maudra Argot is said to be a “wild child” at said parties.

Maudra Mera bakes cookies from scratch for trick or treaters.

SkekMal will take one childling per Halloween and childling are told not to go near the forest. It’s why big kids are forced to watch after the younger ones (even though some would rather be studying or going to the big party on the block).

Natives AU again, there is no Darkening and no draining and even less a Dark Crystal and the Skeksis are not adored by Gelfling as gods but just are seen as political and trading allies, but the Skeksis empire is as its name indicates an imperialist system as well as a racist system that sees itself as superior. They respect nature and other people less, just themselves, and privilege power, riches, prestige and technological advancements with a rich upper class with lots of advantages and poor lower class treated like dirt making me think they also count as capitalists. So even if the Gelfling are allies, they still gnaw their lands discreetly. They extand their harvests and lands on Gelfling territory with official approval because it helps trading, they trade often superficial but beautiful things that only seem amazing in illusion and only will be beneficial to a limited number of people with Gelfling like technological tools, jewelry and clothes but in exchange receive simple but important stuff passing as falsely humble like food rare or not (glowing moss), animals and even lands, they have tithes for the Gelfling living alongside Skeksis even on Gelfling territory as long as they consider a Skeksis business is there, they buy properties on Gelfling lands and towns and even businesses in some case, there is a tithe offering exchange between the All Maudra and Skeksis diplomats, introduced Gelfling to the concept of UrSkeks, Gruenak and Podling slavery while themselves own Gelfling harems, and again they DID commit a Gruenak and an Arathim genocide to get their lands (and had Gelfling follow them by sharing these lands with tgel... all for gnawing at them little by little) proving they would anytime with no hesitation if needed. But because for now it looks good and went great for centuries, most Gelfling prefer ignoring the problem, like Mayrin, whereas Brea after SkekOk and SkekLach's visit and seeing how much they gave to them and what they got in exchange was not beneficial to the people but just the royal family and how even with that with her knowledge of Skeksish she understood they were still feeling disdain for them, she was incredibly ticked off and started to think the system wasn't so fair after all. A trigger will be when a tall beefy but mute UrSkek slave would be offered to the court by SkekOk and SkekLach for the exchange as an "amity symbol between us" and she would get interested in him, understand the weird motions he does he was called the r word for are actually sign language she knows too and secret socialize with him and learn from him his name is Lore and they are not monsters but half Skeksis and UrRu. If Skeksis can reproduce with UrRu, why attacking them and killing or enslaving their children ? That's it, she won't care if it is a diplomatic incident, he is gonna free him, help him and screw these "allies"

An open window.    And no sign of her daughter.    Footsteps behind her- the hurrying hush of a servant not wanting to disturb.    Without turning, voice deadly calm, Mayrin commented, “Katavra does not spar with the Paladins today.”    Footsteps stopped. “…no, All-Maudra.” A nervous breath. “She, might be cleaning out her quarters?”    A wind gusted in, damp and tangy with salt.    “Cleaning.”    “Yes- at least, she carried some old plants when she left…”    Dried petals brushed Mayrin’s gown. Face impassive, she crushed them.    “I see.”

It’s been a goal of mine to sing this song ever since I heard it the first time way back in 2019. I did this maybe a month or so ago. It may not be the best because I was lying on my stomach and my cat decided it was the perfect time to sleep on my back lol

The All-Maudra Funeral song is so beautiful yet haunting. I love how everyone (except Naia) lends their voice at different parts of the song and harmonize beautifully. The contrast between our heroes’ funeral for Mayrin and Seladon’s will always be a favorite of mine. All in all, the All-Maudra Ceremony scene is my favorite scene in the entire series.

Aside from drawing I enjoy singing and “voice acting” the voice acting is something I do occasionally like when I’m playing a game where everyone but the mc has a voice lol Maybe I’ll share the one video I have of me doing a voice

Here is my Trollsona, Rose. I took inspiration from Queen Elena Castillo from Elena of Avalor, All-Maudra Mayrin, Maudra Fara, and Seladon II from The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Grand Duchess Anastasia from the movie, Anastasia, Stella Goetia from Helluva Boss, and Elissabat from the Monster High franchise. Rose is the high queen of the Platinum Trolls, the ruling tribe of the troll kingdom, who stripped Creek’s ancestor and his family for abusing the power of the strings and all the tribes live in isolation but they only come together to crown a new high king or queen, which is usually the eldest child. As Harmonia’s direct descendant and fiftieth great-grandniece, Rose is meant to take the throne after her late father but she disappeared into the Troll Kingdom as she let the old capitol crumble into ruins because of the sneaky court trolls’ forced marriage that led to them fighting each other for the throne until it ended with their deaths and the entire tribe left their old home to find new ones since their supposed leader is gone. Rose fled with the Crown of Harmony, an ancient artifact that can find the next high king or high queen. When the true ruler or heir wears it, the crown begins to glow. She moved from one place to another in secrecy that she changed her look to become unrecognizable with the singing lions trailing behind her, as they are the only ones who can identify the true ruler, aside from the crown itself. She was on the run for many years but the World Tour had changed her direction forever. witnessed the destruction through the World Tour, realizing that she is destined to be the high queen because not everybody is destined to do great things but she should be proud to be born to do something amazing for the entire troll kingdom. It takes courage and heart to think beyond herself in order to overcome her fears and help the entire kingdom. She finally reveals herself in Queen Barb’s victory concert by placing the Crown of Harmony on her head, accepting her role as high queen. An official coronation was held in Pop Village to celebrate her return. Donning a golden gemstone encrusted headband, she now settles in Trollstopia in a castle, near Platinum City, where the members of her tribe live, and she must now learn to rule as its new high queen. Rose's adventures will lead her to understand that her new role requires thoughtfulness, resilience, and compassion, the traits of all truly great leaders. Since she is still new to the throne, she has the Tribal Council to give advice along the way, aside from helping her keeping the interests of the local Trolls' well-being. Rose also looks to her childhood friends, Tresillo, Marimba and Tambora, Jussy @jade-green-butterfly, Emi @groovinyeen, and the other subtribes for guidance and support. She also experiences the ups and downs of life from a broken heart (from breaking up with her ex, Chaz) to finding new love (from dating Lownote Jones, whom she broke up with and remain as friends). The Hidden Truth of Thra - Chapter 1

It was a really windy night in the caves of Grot and most of the gelfling were already prepared for that as it was the time of the trine for the winds to get stronger.

It was nearly midnight and about almost everyone in the caves would be asleep. Except for one particular gelfling. She left the house and decided to go and see the nurlocs. She was feeling depressed and sad about something or rather someone.

She closed her eyes and let the memories of her past take over. Again.

"Don't worry maudra Argot , lf the Skeksis even try lay a hand on me , I'll finally put my bombthrowing skills to use".

" I know that you're capable of taking out the Skeksis, it's just that the prophecy says otherwise.

And with that she begins to recite the prophecy in written in Grottan.

'A Grottan gelfling with a gentle heart will serve the prophecy to defeat the Skeksis, but will pay the price for the Skeksis corruption.

A Brave Stonewood guard will lead the battle of resistance to the Skeksis, but will face many hardships and loses.

An Clever Princess from the Vapra clan will succeed at finding the truth of the Skeksis, but will have to face betrayal and loss.

These three will unite the gelfling clans.'

" Ma,if that prophecy is actually true, then the Grottan is me, Stonewood guard is Ordon and the Vapra is obviously Mayrin, no arguing about that one."

"Au'ran, you heard what the prophecy said , you are going to suffer a lot and if by chance you are not the prophecy, then it is your childling , Deet".

"I can't let any harm come to her , her father is already dead because of the arathim wars and I can't even stay long with her , because I have been summoned by the so called lords and I might not come back.

Ma , promise me that you will take care of her , if not find her loving parents who will take care of her."

" I promise , but if you die by the Skeksis, all your memories will go to her and the curse is that she won't be able to share them by dreamfasting.

A horn is sounded and Au'ran knows that it is time to leave. She moves towards Deet's cradle and tells her something.

" No matter how far I am, you will always be in my heart and I am always watching you , if I'm not the prophecy, then you have a great future ahead of you. I promise that you will always be my little nurloc , no matter how big you grow."

And with that Au'ran seals her fate by leaving, as she already know that she is going to die.

Deet try's not to cry but she just can't stop her tears from flowing. The memorie always seem to come back no matter what and they are always painfull each time.

She wipes her tears and makes a promise that she will fulfil one day :

' I promise mother, that no matter what , I will protect my family and all the people of Grot, and I swear to mother Aughra that I will make each one of the Skeksis pay for what they've done'.
