♘ : Cuddling in a blanket fort

Blanket forts were one of those kinds of things Shuichi secretly always wanted to do, but was too shy to ever suggest it. He always feared if it seemed too childish for his age... but with Kokichi, he knew he didn’t have to worry about being judged. He knows he can always tell him anything without any worries... so when he shyly suggested that they could make one as a fun idea to do tonight, and Kokichi agreed to the idea: he was naturally very happy, and began gathering the needed materials with him throughout his bedroom and the house. Shuichi first takes his mattress off the bedframe, so that they could start draping blankets and lots of pillows on top of it once the mattress was set on the floor and their ‘walls’ and ‘ceiling’ were set up. He even went to get some spare fairy lights that were kept in the spare room closet, so that they could be strung up inside the fort to make it look even prettier.

The end result of their hard work resulted in a very cozy and nice looking blanket fort, Shuichi beaming as he excitedly glanced at it. “Ohh, we did great...! It looks so nice... I can’t wait to relax inside it with you. Let’s climb inside...!”  And once they got nice and comfy inside, continuing their fun night with binging a couple of movies and shows, maybe even reading their favorite books together afterwards, too: it felt all the more nicer to do so in their comfy blanket fort. And of course, he was also looking very much forward to cuddling together with him inside it, too..

At one point, whatever was currently playing on the TV became background noise at this point. He began to feel himself growing sleepy, a soft yawn escaping him as he laid his head back down. “Koki... let’s cuddle, now...” He smiles softly, opening his arms to invite him in them. And once he was, Shuichi holds him close against him, sighing in complete content as he began cuddling him softly. “Mmm... so warm...” He hums, bringing one hand up to comb it through his Kokichi’s hair as he pressed soft kisses to his forehead. His boyfriend always felt so warm and snug in his arms.. and something about cuddling together in a warm and cozy blanket fort, under the faint glow of the fairy lights: made it feel even nicer than it already did. He felt so relaxed and happy, he wouldn’t be surprised if he fell asleep even quicker... but he didn’t want to just yet: he wanted to stay up for just a little longer and indulge in this nice feeling...

“Ahh this is the life... cuddling with you under a cozy blanket fort... it’s going to be so hard to want to leave it when we wake up in the morning. You’ll probably have to pry me off of you...” He giggles softly, gazing at him with a half-lidded, warm gaze as he snuggles him even more against him. “Just kidding... we don’t have anything we have to do tomorrow morning, right...? So I’ll be looking forward to cuddling with you some more with you in the morning. Continue having fun with you like I did tonight. Thank you again for indulging me, sweetheart. I truly had a blast building a blanket fort together with you! It was so fun... and made the other things we did all the more relaxing and better in our toasty little fort, hehehe. We should definitely make another one again someday... it’ll be great. Especially if we can end our night....and start our morning... cuddling together like this. I love you, Koki...” And presses a soft, loving kiss to his lips as he brings that hand to cup and gently caress his cheek, staring at him with even more love and warmth pouring from his eyes.
