Part 1!
Okay! So Galacta goes to Popstar with Meta Knight in the CTS AU, meaning he was there throughout everything. That being said, I felt like writing it all out into short episode by episode summaries.
Extra info + Episodes under the cut.
Please keep in mind that I only have the episode numbers written out (for explain "episode 1 - this happens") so the episodes I'm referring to may be a bit vague. Also, I'm using the Japanese order, the English ones are moved around a bit so please keep that in mind as well.
So I have up to 75 episode written out, and I should be able to get the rest done in time, since I'll post 25 episodes daily.
Part 2;
Part 3;
Part 4;
During episode 1-2 Galacta doesn't say or do anything. He stands near Meta Knight silently.
Episode 3 - Tiff and Tuff are made very well aware that Galacta is on their side. They don't believe Meta Knight wants to hurt Kirby, but they do think he's willing to do so to follow orders. They both witness Galacta scream at Dedede for ordering Meta Knight to fight him, but doesn't get physical as Meta Knight interrupts him and agrees to do so. When Kirby is brought to the fight, Galacta has become oddly calm and doesn't get involved. He stays to the side. After they lose track of Kirby and the kids, Galacta attempts to start yelling at Meta Knight but is instantly quieted down but both his hatred for arguing with his brother and Meta Knight telling him the children would be fine. When Dedede reappears with the monster, Galacta yells at him again after Meta Knight states that they were simply using him. He's quieted down again, but only due to being distracted with Kirby's battle. He doesn't really do much from there. He's quiet when Meta Knight kicks Dedede's car but giggles a bit. In response to Tiff asking him again about who's side he's on, Meta Knight does say he's a 'loyal subject to the king' but leaves out the 'why would I help Kirby?' thing. This is due to the fact that he doesn't want to anger the child (totally not his daughter lmao) and because he doesn't want Galacta to start yelling again. Upon N.M.E being brought up, Galacta turns away from them and his wings puff, which they know is a sign of him being upset/uncomfortable. Meta Knight still gives his vague answer.
Episode 4 - Galacta attempts to kick the throne room doors open after hearing Dedede go on about Kracko. Meta Knight stops him. Galacta is rather silent as Meta Knight explains Kirby's Warp Star to Tiff. While N.M.E is brought up, he gets visibly angry and punches the wall when Meta Knight mentions that the rest of the Star Warriors had been killed. This causes a small pause in the conversation. He's silent throughout the rest of it and avoids eye contact. Meta Knight doesn't make it clear whether or not Galacta was a Star Warrior as well, but Tiff figures he is due to his behaviour. He seems to calm down as the topic shifts to Kirby and Nightmare's defeat. Throughout the rest of the episode, he's silent, but seemingly calm again by the time they find Kirby fighting Kracko.
Galacta doesn't appear in episode 5.
Episode 6 - Galacta is conflicted on the TV situation. He's disgusted that it's all Dedede but isn't against the TV's themselves. He finds it odd that Meta Knight is amused by the king's stupidity. He doesn't say anything during Tiff's brief conversation with Meta Knight, but does give her a pat on the head rather randomly. She pauses for a second, then continues. He doesn't say anything throughout the rest of the episode aside from commenting on Dedede being an idiot when Meta Knight tells them to investigate the studio after he'd gotten the guards away.
Episode 7 - Galacta doesn't say anything when Meta Knight gives an overly cryptic sentence in response to Tiff asking what they should do, but he does give him a confused look. He knows what he meant but is simply confused by it. He doesn't appear again.
Episode 8 - He actively gets angry when they find the children demobilised. Dedede doesn't really get to finish asking how they escaped before he starts screeching at him for it. Meta Knight finally succeeds in calming him down enough for him to stop yelling and the cappies get angry with Dedede. Galacta again gets obscenely angry while the big stone thing is about to kill Meta Knight and uses his lance to stab the statue (this takes the place of Curio chipping some pieces off but let's be honest, he was rather boring anyway lmao). He immediately grabs Meta Knight by the arm and yanks him back when Kirby hits the statue. He yells at him for being reckless and hugs him. He yells about stabbing Dedede and Meta Knight reminds him that his wing is injured and Kirby is already fighting them and needs the battle experience. He's calm by the end of the episode.
Galacta doesn't appear in episode 9.
Episode 10 - Galacta mumbles about the chief being stupid and getting kids in danger while they're in the volcano. He also attempts to fly in to help them but his wing is still injured for plot convenience and also because he was flying like an idiot. Meta Knight stops him and reminds him of this, then brings up the fact that the Warp Star is still available. Galacta hisses when Dedede shows up but doesn't say anything.
Episode 11 - Rather than the kitchen door being sliced open by Meta Knight, Galacta kicks it off its hinges. When Meta Knight finds the N.M.E logo on the cookbook, Galacta takes it from him and throws it full force at the wall while hissing. He doesn't say anything while Meta Knight informs the others and simply watches the battle from the side. He hisses when Dedede tries to eat a piece of the monster and comments on his stupidity.
Episode 12 - Galacta doesn't say anything but starts giggling when Dedede slips out about the ghost during his conversation with Tiff's family. When Meta Knight and the others are looking for the king after he screams, Galacta mentions that Dedede is hopefully suffering. After Escargoon explains everything, Galacta hisses at him and tells him he's an idiot. He doesn't say anything throughout the rest of the episode, but stays with Meta Knight as usual.
Episode 13 - Galacta doesn't say anything but flinches whenever there's a loud sound caused by the fireworks. It also makes his wings puff. Galacta does attempt to fly into the air when Kirby faints, but Meta Knight stops him. He insists his wings are fine now and Meta Knight says nothing to him regarding his wings or why he won't let him fly. Galacta backs away and covers his ears when there are more fireworks. He vanishes near the end.
Episode 14 - Galacta doesn't say anything until Meta Knight suggests testing the pillows. He immediately takes Tiff's side and insists Dedede is not to be trusted. Meta Knight reasons with him for a bit and he settles down, but makes it very clear that he's uninterested in using one. He's not with Meta Knight when he goes to check on the children. He does, however, reappear when the group starts getting rid of the Noddies. He hisses when Dedede gives Kirby a pillow but Meta Knight keeps him from getting violent. He also glares at the cappies when they laugh at Kirby.
Galacta doesn't appear in episode 15 - 17.
Episode 18 - Rather than Meta Knight tossing down a rope to help Tiff from the river, Galacta picks her up and brings her to the tree. Galacta also attempts to kick over a tree in response to the spider that wraps up Kirby, but Meta Knight and Tiff both stop him. He again tries to kick over a tree when Tuff starts sinking. No one stops him but Meta Knight is quicker. He draws his lance and nearly sword beams the snake that attacks them and Tiff stops him while Meta Knight sets up the thing. He also growls at it when it falls off the cliff. Galacta immediately attacks the plant after it tries to kill Tuff's group while Meta Knight frees the children. He's very quickly beaten down when the thing bites onto his wing, breaks it, and slams him into the wall. He's rather spaced out throughout the rest of the fight but tries to force himself to stand when the plant bites Meta Knight multiple times. He spawns his magical pink swords but can't maintain them (he's obscenely dizzy) and falls over again. Meta Knight helps him get away from the plant after he's freed and Galacta simply passes out.
Episode 19 - Galacta watches as Meta Knight fights Joe, he doesn't get involved. He's incredibly confused when Dedede brings a tank inside but doesn't really do anything. He doesn't appear again until Meta Knight stops Joe from killing Kirby. Rather than saying or doing anything, he stares at Joe sadly as Meta Knight explains what happened to Jecra. When Joe disregards all of that, Galacta puffs up and gets visibly angry, but stays silent. He doesn't say anything throughout the rest of the episode.
Episode 20 - When Meta Knight comments on the snow, Galacta hisses. When Meta Knight appears in the tree to talk to Tiff, Galacta is sitting on a branch above him brushing the snow off of it, but stays silent. When the children get attacked by the dragon, Galacta appears in front of them while Meta Knight cuts the snowflake and puffs out his wings. He leaves at the same time as Meta Knight, but rather than walking, he hops between trees.
Galacta does not appear in episode 21 - 23.
Episode 24 - Galacta laughs at Dedede and Escargoon while Meta Knight confirms that ninjas are real. When he brings up Yamikage, Galacta gets visibly angry and hisses. When Yamikage shows up later, Galacta asks Meta Knight if they can go kill him, to which he obviously says no. He briefly spawns magic swords when Meta Knight nearly gets hit with Yamikage's knife, but lets them fade away when Meta Knight stays still and Yamikage gets back to his fight.
Galacta doesn't appear in episode 25.

Reaction to Harumi's "Death", Dareth's "Brown Powers", Lloyd becoming a leader, etc
Another Ninjago essay lmao
First off, I wanna point out that the season I'm at, called "Hunted", has been very thrilling for me so far. A lot of stuff has happened, I'm still not done. I left off after I finished the episode where Harumi "dies" and "redeems herself" by saving a kid from going through the same thing she did.
In this blog post, I'll talk a bit about that, but I'll save my opinion on Harumi for the end of the post. First, let me just point out something!
Dareth, oh my fucking god, I think he might be my favorite non powered character now! He has been such a genuinely good guy, trying his best! Yes, he fails sometimes, but the fact that he tries so hard, and his loyalty to the ninja hasn't faded, that he keeps trying to help, honestly, this season has done a good job making me like Dareth! He's been a fun character, and I regret hating his guts when I was younger! He's trying his best, and I will never slander him again. :c
Lloyd's speech on air, yeah it was cliche, but it got the point across, and it was a bit moment for him developing into a leader. I'm proud of him, I'm proud of all the ninja. Every time they get pushed down, they get back up with more determination. The kind I wish I had. Maybe I'm projecting on these characters a little bit, and maybe I'm not bringing anything new to the table in this blog post, but I like writing out my thoughts, it's become part of my new therapy. That being said, Ninjago is every bit as inspiring to me in my adulthood as it was when I was a young teenager being emotionally neglected by my family and physically attacked by my younger brother out of nowhere almost daily. I was in a bad situation, and this show helped me endure it all back then. As cliche as it sounds, it's true. This show was my comfort show back then, and it's starting to feel that way again. TuT
Now for the final bit, my feelings about Harumi... Honestly, it was pretty scummy of her to suggest becoming her replacement for Lloyd as Garmadon's child. No matter how hard you try, you can't replace your kids. If I were in her shoes, I wouldn't have even suggested such an idea, but then again, I'm not a terrible, vengeful, scummy, abusive peeson like her, and I would never find myself in her shoes to begin with. In her defense, I suppose it might have been a way for her to keep Garmadon from destroying her like he almost did when she "failed him", but it was still a very weird writing choice, and seems like it was intentionally setting groundwork for her to marry Lloyd in the future to be "the daughter-in-law" instead of "adopted". Honestly, it's a very poor writing choice in my opinion because even though they're trying to redeem her as a character, it's not very well done.
1. It only took a couple of episodes, a threat on her life, and a clearly emotionally vulnerable Garmadon for her to change her attitude.
2. Even with that attitude change, it still comes off as manipulative for her to have done that.
3. I don't care what the writers want her to be, they established her as a horrible person in Sons of Garmadon, a redemption arc just doesn't work for this character. Let her stay evil and die for her sins!
And of course, the elephant in the room... Her seeing the "error of her ways". That was such a copout, it was established in Sons of Garmadon that her pain made her WANT others to feel the same pain she felt, and that she DIDN'T CARE about the children. It was literally a "fuck them kids" attitude for her, and for it to change that quickly, that's not good writing, that's just out of character.
Like, yeah, it was a good way for her to die, realizing she was wrong all along, get what you deserve, blah blah blah. But if you wanted her to see the error of her ways in her dying moment, why are all these Twitter spoilers showing her she comes back anyway? It completely defeats the impact of her death.
Ugh... Here I am overanalyzing this show yet again, yes it's a show meant for kids, but Ninjago has been trying to have somewhat serious writing for a long time, and for the most part, it has been great! The writers are clearly capable of writing characters well, but they failed this villain character by trying to redeem her, and it doesn't work. Not only that, but if she and Lloyd get married, it spreads a terrible message to young kids about relationship dynamics and forgiveness.
Some things shouldn't be forgiven.
And this isn't even me being bitter about my "Senpai Lloydkins" finding a girl he likes, this is about me feeling sorry for this character, and maybe projecting my own emotional trauma onto him, but it comes from a place of experience.
I still love this show, and I'm not gonna let a bad pairing ruin it for me, but if I could do things differently, I would have her stay evil.
I know I'm probably being dramatic, but again, it comes from personal experience with both the show and real life situations that left me with severe anxiety and depression.
Thank you for reading this long winded post. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this show... No spoilers please!
