My friend wrote this poem that I really liked, and the two of us like to work together, creating work that corresponds with something the other did. So, I made this to go with his poem, since it reminded me of the song All Gummed Up Inside from the episode Incendium. Here’s the poem:

Fire and Ice

The dragon wreaks calamity The people scream “Insanity!” There is no grace, just blasphemy

Who would’ve thought Who could’ve seen That you would stick around for me

The time for work, mortar and clay The rubble doesn’t go away Time to clean up this disarray

What could’ve been I should’ve known With muscle torn, exposing bone

The ties that were all came undone A solar system with no sun Frozen in space, the only one

There’s no reprieve All time stands still If this won’t fix it Nothing will
