T)(at's a wonderful question, anon! It all began about two sweeps ago, w)(en in the midst of feeding Gl'bgolyb we ended up )(unting somet)(ing WAY bigger t)(an anyt)(ing we'd ever seen before, and efin I was struggling to get it t)(roug)( t)(e ocean, I remember )(earing t)(e great one's voice telling me t)(at I needed to be way stronger if I were to be -Empress someday- w)(ic)( I took as a goal to meet! Let me tell you, it's no fun )(aving to struggle to lug big lusii )(alfway across the ocean...
So I started working out! Wit)( Gl'b's guidance, I pretty quickly outgrew all my old clot)(es and started getting taller way faster. T)(en we started playing Sgrub, and every level I got only made me bigger and stronger- and only made my workouts all t)(e more effective. Of course, t)(is only got all t)(e more intense w)(en I ascended! Soon I wasn't lifting weig)(ts but traveling from planet to planet in searc)( of somefin to make me STRUGGL-E! Terezi's stone buildings worked for a bit, but soon I graduated to benc)(ing w)(ole complexes from -Eridan's, and t)(en just kept going and going...
I eventually )(ad to settle for lifting massive chunks of t)(e Battlefield to give myself any c)(allenge, and at t)(at point it would be easy to just start curling w)(ole planets...
W)(en your passive existence wipes out so many enemies as to make you always be ascending )(ig)(er and )(ig)(er, you tend to outgrow anyt)(ing you t)(ink will work for you pretty quickly. Like worlds, or incipisp)(eres! 38)
Once I'd crus)(ed t)(e borders of t)(e game and ascended out into t)(e void of reality, getting bigger was as easy as wanting it! ...But lifting a few existences definitely makes it go faster.

Weer keert het najaar en belaagt
Het hart, dat droef, maar steeds gewender,
Zijn heimelijke pijnen draagt.
En in de kamer, waar gelaten

He doesn’t look like a killer, is Wilbur’s first thought upon seeing Tommy Innit outside of a picture for the first time. It’s a bit silly, really. Hardly anyone looks like a killer, they just are. The fact that the file they handed Wilbur filled with Tommy’s many, many crimes is as thick as Tubbo’s school-folder’s (troublemaking and academic achievement both) should probably be a tip-off. Albeit, never once was the severity of Tommy’s previous crimes even close to the one he’s committed now. Mostly a variety of petty theft, vandalism, and trespassing. A fairly recent arson case stuck out to Wilbur, though.
Unlike most people, Tommy does not stop his journey for the satisfaction of clean teeth just because someone else has entered the room. The only difference is that his eyes no longer focus on the hand half in his mouth, rather Wilbur’s footsteps toward the table.
Wilbur struggles to conflate the teenager desperately trying to scrape green from his teeth with the murder he is accusing Tommy of. He remembers photos of amateur graffiti in the files, just words like BIG MAN INNIT or, embarrassingly, BUY SCHLATTCOIN. He thinks of a school photo; the last one Tommy seemed to have ever taken just four years ago, a 13 year old mid-laughter. Even now, Wilbur looks and cannot imagine him as anything past this display of ordinary that just seeps into odd. Luckily he doesn’t need to imagine. He knows.
As Wilbur sits, he asks, “Do you want a toothpick?” He is attempting to sound ordinary as well. He has to sound normal, even if the man who was murdered was something to him. Wilbur is normally sent in for tasks like this, and his friend being the victim makes it no different. Dream was close to most everyone in this precinct. Wilbur is just the best man for the job. Dream himself has teasingly called Wilbur “a master manipulator”. Wilbur does not disagree, though he does not exactly like the title. Regardless, he always accepted it with a grin. At least it makes him useful. Words are his only weapon, and by God, he’ll use them to lock Dream’s killer up.
“Nah, ‘akes out the ‘allenge,” the guy says, muffled from the fingers in his mouth. “No ‘un in it, yeah?”

De Kolk met luchspoor en op de achtergrond de laurenskerk. Circa 1900.
De Kolk in het centrum van Rotterdam is een trap, die de verbinding vomt tussen de Binnenrotte en de kubuswoningen in het Blaakse Bos boven de Blaak. In het verlengde van de Kolk ligt de Mosseltrap. De bescheiden rol die de Kolk in het hedendaagse verkeer speelt, staat in schril contrast tot zijn grote betekenis als spil in het hart van de drukke stad vanaf haar vroegste geschiedenis.
De huidige Kolk is alleen toegankelijk voor voetgangers. De woonflat Het Potlood, de kubuswoningen en de voetgangersbrug over de Blaak heen inclusief de trappen ernaartoe werden tussen 1982 en 1984 gebouwd naar een ontwerp van architect Piet Blom. Tussen de schaarse maar weelderige achtertuinen door slingert een voetpad met de naam Rijstuin.
De kaarsrechte Hoogstraat werd vanaf 1270 over deze dam aangelegd ter bescherming tegen de zee en de Maas. De oudste naam van de Hoogstraat is de Middendam, het geheel vormde een onderdeel van Schielands Hoge Zeedijk. Het gebied aan de zuidkant evenwijdig aan de dam kreeg allengs de naam Het Steiger naar de steiger waaraan men moest wachten voor men de Rotte op kon varen. In 1358 werd een begin gemaakt met de zuidelijke stadsvest in de Blaak. Het Oost- en Westnieuwland werden de ingepolderde tussenlanden, gescheiden door de Kolk. In 1557 werd vanaf de Hoogstraat een overbrugging naar het Westnieuwland gebouwd, ten behoeve van een Grote Markt. De markt werd later ook wel de Erasmusmarkt genoemd ter onderscheiding van de iets zuidelijker gelegen Vischmarkt.
Na de 16e eeuw werd De Blaeck de grote haven in het hart van de stad, en vormde de Kolk in het oosten de verbinding naar de Hoogstraat en de Grote Markt. In het verlengde van de Kolk lag de Oude Haven, waar de eerste steiger werd gesignaleerd in 1351. De kade aan de oostzijde van de Kolk heette de Open Rijstuin, en om de hoek de Toe-Rijstuin nabij de brug van het Oost- naar het Westnieuwland. Hier bracht in de 18e eeuw Kaat Mossel haar waren aan de man. Van hier leidde de Mosseltrap naar de Spaansekade aan de oostelijke zijde van de Oude Haven.
Op de kaart van Rotterdam in het Toonneel der Steden uit 1652 van Joan Blaeu is de Kolk het enige grote oppervlaktewater waar geen naam in geschreven staat.
De eerste Koopmansbeurs, in 1635 gebouwd aan de Vischmarkt maar later omgedoopt tot Beursplein, keek uit op de Kolk. Voor de bouw van het Luchtspoor werd het imposante gebouw van de Korenbeurs gesloopt, en voor het nieuwe centraal station Beurs werd omstreeks 1875 een zuidelijk deel van de Kolk zelf gedempt. De pijlers van het spoorwegviaduct stonden in het water van de Kolk. Waar thans Theatercafé Plan C aan de Oude Haven aan ligt, was voor de Tweede Wereldoorlog een bedrijvengebouw Plan C waar schepen nog onderdoor konden varen op weg naar de Kolk.
De Kolk werd door de eeuwen veel geschilderd en later ook gefotografeerd. De huizen die tot in het water stonden, de bedrijvigheid, de vele schepen en de Laurenskerk aan de horizon boden een inspirerende omgeving.
Na 1940 werd de Kolk, vermoedelijk tegelijk met de Blaak, gedempt met het puin uit de verwoeste stad.

Dream himself has teasingly called Wilbur “a master manipulator”. Wilbur does not disagree, though he does not exactly like the title. Regardless, he always accepted it with a grin. At least it makes him useful. Words are his only weapon, and by God, he’ll use them to lock Dream’s killer up.
“Nah, ‘akes out the ‘allenge,” the guy says, muffled from the fingers in his mouth. “No ‘un in it, yeah?” In order to think for a moment, Wilbur laughs. Tommy is perhaps stranger than previously thought. He does not seem to be responding to the situation appropriately either. Wilbur will give him some time.
“Never considered picking my teeth fun either way.”
“Lack of whimsy, I say.”
“Never had someone complain I’m not whimsical enough,” Wilbur notes, genuinely a bit amused by the notion. “Usually the opposite.”
Tommy takes his hand out of his mouth now, half-glaring at Wilbur. “Aren’t you a cop? What fucking cop’s got enough whimsy for there to be complaints?” Tommy does not trust cops. Makes sense considering the record, but is a good note to have confirmed.
“You’d be surprised.”
“No, I actively am. You’ve surprised me. Not a fan. Apologize. Now.” Tommy speaks in a peculiar cadence, half-between genuine annoyance and like he’s telling a joke. It irks Wilbur considering the circumstances. He planned on playing it a little nicer in the beginning, but he has always been a creature run by his emotions.
“Never gotten that before either,” he says in an easy tone.
“What? Someone asking for an apology?”
“A murderer asking for an apology.” That shuts Tommy up. His face turns sour, like he’s just realized exactly why he’s sitting in a police interrogation room. He leans back in his chair and looks past Wilbur’s head.
