Some loose ends from the first story that need to be resolved and who knows what else because “more planned” currently is “oh shoot i want another story to use xyz scenes but idk what will be in it yet besides that time to wing it” which is partly how the first story was written

dear heart and gentle nightkin. (fic)  okay so i’m actually really proud of this fic ?? like i was super nervous coming into the fallout bang bc most of the stuff i had written all stayed here but this was actually out there and i’m still getting kudos for it (which just makes my day). it started as a one word prompt for like months ago from something i didn’t finish but look at it now, all finished up.

nodus tollens. (fic) this was the product of a dumb thought i had, which afterwards i was like well now i have to write the rest of the fic. and also i love the words for feelings we have but can’t always explain. so i wanted to smush them together and i have. i do have plans for the rest of the words and will hopefully get to them this year. that and this was the first time i wrote for my lone wanderer, Evan.

(fic) ah this is one of my favourites tbh. stargazing is one of my favourite things ever ?? i’ve written like 3 different fics where the folks are looking at starts for different reasons. it’s always something that can be so intimate and it plays so well into Rosie pining and thinking about Cass.

untitled for now (fic wip) this year i started a lot of fics but didn’t finish many, which means i have an over abundance of wips just floating around. this is one where the prompt was so good and i already had some concrete things i wanted to get down. and i want to write for my sole survivor more. Annabelle needs some actual moments instead of her canon being all up in the air. i’m hoping with this one, it gets there.

beginning. (fic) this is actually what pushed me to make roachvalentine tbh. i think if i hadn’t of written this then i wouldn’t have gotten to idea to make a fallout blog, which also helped me to get a bit more confident w/ my writing and actually put things out there. and yeah most of the fics i’ve got are w/ Rosie but i feel the most comfortable writing w/ her voice. but it’s all bc of this fic which makes it my favourite one.

well, last year i didn’t write as much as i wanted to (thanks to my terrible brain) but i also met a lot of cool folks that i probably wouldn’t of otherwise and roach valentine was born this year !! shout out to @allislaughter who brought him into the world, thanks bud and also @glowstickia for being one of the best buds anyone could ask for. actually also shoutout to the fic discord server i’m in w/ them both (and other rad folks) i love seeing what y’all have made and all the pet pics make me happy. tagging: uhh listen, i’m always bad w/ these bc of anxiety so if you’ve posted anything you’re proud of, this is me tagging you !!

Fandoms: Currently writing fallout since like its still holding strong as a hyperfixation and I made a fallout sideblog SO- let’s go with that. I’ve written for other fandoms, but shit comes and goes man lol.

Where you post: AO3, and very rarely here mostly because I love italics and tumblr does not. The amount of times I’ve had to manually edit in my italics... basically, I’m stubborn and don’t want to look through a wall of text I’ve already stared at for x amount of time just to like post it with no idea if people will actually see it why should I spend 20mins - an hour making sure I got all the spots with italics?

Most Popular One-shot: Not surprised its uh, the one crossover ship fic I wrote back in 2014. So it has age and also rarity in making it the perfect storm lol I don’t wanna talk about it. Good on past me for writing it, but its old writing and I can’t stand it tbh. I’m glad people like and enjoy it. I’m keeping it around for all yall.

Most Popular Multichap: Counterbalance - my old paranatural choose your own adventure fic I wrote 3 years ago. Nice :3 Felt the planets align for that fic and goddamn I love choose your own adventure stories haha. Maybe I’ll write another one someday...

Favorite story you’ve written so far: Honestly? One of my fallout fics, partially cause they’re more recent, but also goddamn I’ve felt a lot of growth with them...

-On Top of Sanctuary Hills and Far Away - the beginnings of my psyker oc Echo’s journey. I’m still very much working on it and like feeling renewed vigor cause hot damn something clicked in me. Words are difficult and hard and I’m still in absolute aw of like writing fuckin 5k word chapters. @_@

I really love the “series” [Echoes of You] I’m writing. While I am jumping around a bit, it feels good and I’m honestly enjoying writing it. Its...definitely self indulgent for a few reasons. I love the paranormal and sprinkling in spooky shit, also taking and repurposing canon that had a lot of potential but fell flat lol

Fic you were nervous to post: Most of my fics I’m nervous to post for varying degree of reasons. Lately tho, I’ve reach the point of saying “Fuck it.” and posting. I’m ya’lls problem now!

How do you choose your titles: Sometimes I use the single word prompt that lead to the fic being created. Other times I just use song titles that relate to said fic in some shape or form.

Do you outline: LOOOOOL not really haha. I mostly have like a general idea that’s written down. Very rarely is shit like outlined...that’s mainly because of like if my brain learns the ending of things then it’s like “oh okay cool we’re done!” and then just walk out the door when shit is nowhere near close to being done. Its that adhd.

Complete: 57 on ao3 askdhsdf Damn. Not bad. Had to math a bit lol.

In progress: ....so many...so fuckin many....possibly 12 in like various stages.

Coming soon/not yet started: SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY. The problem with adhd is like...sometimes you just get bombarded with a shit ton of ideas. I have...a shit ton of WIPs and so many notes for things... the amount is ???.

Prompts?: I mean, if you want to? I’m chill with accepting shit and I do get ideas from them, but haha goddamn I’m veeeeeery slow at writing. But its also gotta be the fandom I’m like currently interested in writing and TBH I do best with like single word prompts. Gives me more wiggly creative room ya know.

Upcoming work you’re most excited about: Interview with a Piper! Yes. the title is indeed a reference to that one book series thing that I’ve never read and it has 0 things to do with vampires hahahaha But its what brain said it wanted to work on atm so that’s what i’ll work on I guess :3

A morning or a night person Fewer people, fewer distractions and prying eyes at night. And she gets to sleep in

A waffle or pancake person Pancakes are boring, any person can throw flour batter on a griddle over the fryer. She occasionally reminisces about one special meal, at a bar in a nowhere town, where she got a waffle in the shape of some pre-war state named “Teksez”, drowned in brahmin butter and agave syrup...oh yeah.

Coffee or tea person she’s at the point where coffee helps her relax and focus. Plus good for staying alert at night.

Cake or ice cream person Ice cream? What’s ice cream? If she did get her hands on it, she’d be too unsettled by the biting cold to enjoy the flavor

Paper or e-book person it’s hard enough for her to read written text. computer screens hurt her eyes and are even harder to read

Beach or mountain person she’s lived her whole life around mountains. she’s never seen the ocean, and she would be in absolute awe if she did. That much water? Just...there? As far as the eye can see, bigger even than the Mojave? She would immediately drink it and immediately be super disappointed. Veronica would then “rig up a purifier” for Carrot so she could “drink ocean water” at her leisure and be entertained by the novelty. Whether or not Veronica is actually doing this and not just slipping Carrot normal purchased water is only known to Veronica; Carrot’s too distracted by all the new things to pay attention.

Pen or pencil person she’s gonna lose it regardless, but at least a pencil can be sharpened. if the pen she happens to grab is dead, that’s just useless

Video games or board games you know she was all over any pip-boy games she could find once she got hers

Type or handwrite she’s never had a reason to get particularly good at terminals or even really be super literate, so if there’s anything she has to get written down, it’s handwritten in a scrawl that practically counts as her own secret shorthand

Rather be too cold or too hot she’s used to being too hot. too cold means she’s somewhere different, unfamiliar, uncomfortable...maybe a deeply subconscious memory of a shallow grave...

Sing or dance well, sorta. More kinda just working out excess energy and fidgetiness

An OTP I have including them: More a brotp, she and ED-E are basically inseparable. she can understand all his different beeps (at least, she’s sure she can) and they have a running competition of who can spot enemies first (ED-E always wins). She’ll routinely be so engrossed in “conversation” with him that she’ll lose track of her surroundings and promptly trip over a cactus.

A NOTP I have including them: An obvious one is her and Benny. Despite her own charisma and ability to charm people, she struggles to understand them in return, especially when they talk in such a layered, convoluted manner as Benny. He’s gonna try and be clever and say a bunch of weird slang and metaphors when she just wants answers? Even aside from the whole “he shot her” bit, she’d never deign to deal with him any longer than necessary. Also, her and Boone. He’s far too serious and silent for her, and she’s far too impulsive for him. Plus that whole bit of her unintentionally killing a bunch of NCR with the giant space laser

A hidden talent they have: Her sense of direction is spot on, she can point to pretty much the exact location of anywhere she wants to go. Not super useful in navigating around the dangers in her route, eg cazador swarms. Is useful in helping her get back to civilization after falling into said swarm.

1 - Check my blog description to make sure commission slots are open! Is there a slot open? Perfect! 

2 - Look at the commissions graph above (See graph) to see what you'd like! (e.x. "Midwaist Ink + Color of Alexabot") Once you know, send me an email at [email protected] detailing what you would like, especially in terms of posing (reference pictures are HIGHLY recommended!) PLEASE title your email with your commission choice (e.x. "Midwaist Ink + Color of Alexabot"). (NOTE: if you want more than one character, the price is repeated for each one)

3 - Once I reply and confirm you for the slot, half of the total commission price is due through paypal. I will send you the info about how to do it in the email if you need help! :) (NOTE: if your commission is a sketch, then the FULL commission price would be due in this payment!)

4 - Once the first payment is received, I will start on your commission! I start with a basic sketch (See pic 1)! I'll send you a few quick sketches for you to choose from and you can request any posing or simple changes! 

5 - Once the pose is decided, I will then work on doing the inking and send you an update (see pic 2)! This is the last chance to change the pose, since it's harder to make changes the more detailed it gets! (NOTE: if your commission is an ink drawing, then I will send you a teaser and the other half of the payment would be due in this step BEFORE I send the finished piece!)

6 - Now for my favorite part: Color! I'll start coloring your commission, and if you don't already have a set color palette I'll send you a snippet of the colors to make sure it's what you want! 7 - Your commission is done! I will send you a teaser (See Pic 3) of the finished product to show that it is complete, and then the second half of the payment is due! I will not send the finished piece until I receive the other half of the payment!

I think the change from Sinclair to Sheridan is part of what made me stop partway into Season 2 because I liked Sinclair so much and I felt hesitant to give Sheridan a chance even tho I know I’m missing a lot as a result

I mean, that’s fair because Sinclair is awesome. I am definitely going to miss him when I reach Season 2. :(

“Ha, you think I’m convenient. I’m the opposite of ‘convenient’.”

He dyes his hair as his last act of rebellion before he and Fino ship out to college in another state, hoping to see less of their family from here on out. Fino already pulled out all the stops with that stupid giant tattoo of his, but Zach isn’t so brave. He considered piercings, but after his iron allergy was discovered, he decided he didn’t want to risk having metal poking through any part of his body if he could help it.

So he dyes his hair pink, starts styling it, and it’s part of him for the final photo his parents have of him before he and Fino leave, hopefully for good.

“Won’t it be inconvenient and expensive to keep that up…?”

It was never about convenience. It’s about taking what’s his and showing it’s his own. His hair and body is his own, and so he’s proving it’s his by deciding what to do with it, regardless of how his parents protest.

In college, it’s a different world than he’s used to. People his age or older, different beliefs than the things he had been fed growing up, more opportunities to learn and grow and become better or worse people. 

He hopes it’s the better option for him.

He’s a good ol’ boy, just turned nineteen, and therefore not going to do alcohol or drink drugs. He’s going to do his school work, meet people, learn shit, forget other shit, and try not to die in this stupid cold.

“We need to buy winter gear,” Fino says, already shivering in 50 degree weather where the locals are looking at them like they’re crazy for being cold.

“Fuck,” Zach answers.

“Yeah.”

They don’t know where to go or what to look for, especially without knowing how the weather will continue deeper into winter. Zach’s in his last class for the day when he thinks of a solution and flags down a classmate on the way out.

“Ey, Brian, right?” he asks. “You’re from around this area, right?”

“This state, at least.”

“So you’re used to the weather here?” Zach asks. He clicks his tongue and winks. “Guess who isn’t.”

Brian lifts his brow. “You…?”

“Yep!” Zach smiles sheepishly. “My twin and I really need to get winter clothes because we’re both already dying and we don’t know where to go or what to get.”

Brian watches his eyes the entire time. He squints. “So you need help… shopping?”

“Yeah!” Zach nods. “If— If you could, I mean. If you have the time. I can, like… find someone else if I need to.”

“No, I’ll help,” Brian says, smiling. “Meet me in front of the library in twenty?”

“Sure, I just need to call my twin first.”

“It’s a date.”

“It’s a—” Zach blinks, but Brian is already halfway down the hallway. “…Huh.” He pulls out his phone and walks the other way. “Finooo, I got us help to get winter cloooothes.”

“Oh, I… already got some.”

“…What?”

“Yeah, I didn’t have class today, remember? I asked that cool guy I mentioned, Barclay? We got stuff for you too.”

“…Well, what am I supposed to do with the guy I asked then?”

“Cancel? The more convenient thing to do?”

“…” It’s a date, huh…? He grins and heads to the library to wait. “Oh, Fino, since when do I do what’s convenient?”

“…Well, if you’re making a new friend, sounds pretty fucking convenient to me to ignore my suggestion to cancel.”

“…Shut up.”

He ends up out in front of library, shivering and realizing that, fuck, he had time to pick up a new jacket and warmer pants for this before waiting out here. He’s covered in goosebumps and shaking as he holds himself, looking like a complete assfool waiting for someone he doesn’t even know will show up…

“Hey, Zach, right?”

Zach looks up and grins at Brian who tosses him a jacket. “Oh, sweet, thanks.” He pulls it on gratefully, over the jacket he’s already wearing. Layers, baby. “I’ll give this back later.”

“Keep it,” Brian says. “Where’s your twin…?”

“Turns out he already got clothes for us while I was in class,” Zach says, shrugging. “We can cancel the shopping trip if you want.”

“Oh, huh…” Brian looks around the campus and then back at Zach. “You still want to hang out?”

“Sure,” Zach smiles. “It’s a date, ain’t it?”

“Weird way to ask someone out, but okay.”

Zach blinks. “But— But you…?”

“I was going to do things tonight, though…”

“Well,” Zach says. “What’s life without a little inconvenience and distraction? I’ve never been the most ‘convenient’ person out there, but I’m fun. If you don’t mind…”

Brian smiles. “I can take on an inconvenience. Let me show you a good restaurant they probably don’t have in your state.”

“Oooh, hell yeah, love food.”

“Well, come on then. Don’t keep me waiting.”

Okay seriously tho, will the Vault Crew ever all be in the same vicinity as each other again? Like all 5 of these nerds, together again at last, (for a group photo maybe haha)

Real talk tho, it’d take a lot to get these nerds back together again since they’re sorta all over the Commonwealth now and got their own shit going. (Esp since they all still think Echo’s dead ;3c ) Like Echo’s always busy and never sticks in one place for too long since she’s got a lot of responsibility helpings on her plate. Danny’s uuuuuh stuck in a place no one has fuckin found yet. Nova’s...well it’ll be easy to find her haha, but Barclay? The cryptid? Who has like stories about him and that’s about as far of a lead as ya got (ie the man who made grenade and motorcycle noises. dat raider story dude. dats him) ha yea sure good luck finding him. Then there’s Whisper who just silently watches and waits. To find her would be by chance lbr.

It’d be a looooong time before the Vault Crew would get back together as a whole and by then, they’d have changed and grown (for better or worse, who knows).
