A Rum Tum Tugger sculpture made by (and in the likeness of) former CATS alumni Stanley Allyn Owen, who played the Curious Cat in Casts 3 and 5 of the Oasis of the Seas, among his other credits as a Swing in US Tour 5 and Asparagus/Bustopher Jones/Growltiger in Cast 8.
Standing at 8" tall and 5" in width and depth, the sculpture is made of resin and meticulously hand painted to bring Rum Tum Tugger to life. The painting also extends to his perch and the tire underneath, with wear, rust, and dirt and debris added to the Junkyard scene. The detail work is absolutely wonderful!
Fifty of these were made, each signed by Stanley himself. A shame he never numbered them, I think that would have been a nice addition.
Kauri, when do you think you'll see your mother in person?
Allyn, how do you think your owner would feel about your relationship with Jameson?
Jake, when's the last time you did something just for yourself?
Kauri tenses, looking away. There's a flush of guilt there - maybe even shame. But he just shrugs. "Don't know. When I don't get migraines every time we talk on the phone, maybe? Or when I can look at pictures of them without it hurting? Or, fuck, I don't... I don't know. When I think they're ready to meet the clusterfuck that their dead son and brother turned into."
Allyn opens their mouth. Closes it again. Considers that. A flicker of real grief shows before the perfect emptiness smothers it again. "He wouldn't like Jameson at all," They admit, slowly. "No class, no education, not able to care for me or keep me in style. But... he doesn't have to like Jameson. Master is gone, but I am still alive. I'm still here." Their smile is gentle and secret and very much their own. "Only I have to like Jameson. And I do."
Jake blinks. Frowns, absently trying to think. "I don't know. I stay pretty busy, honestly. When would I even have time?"
Actor Luca Calvani and director Conor Allyn discuss working with Amber Heard on ‘In The Fire’.
Conor: I am so happy that Amber went through something so awful, and it didn't change her as a person. She's still the shining, sparkling light... and to go through something that terrible and be able to come out the other side and be whole... I can't imagine, and I'm in the imagination business.
Luca: You have to give credit to the incredible journey this woman has been through, and she can teach us all a couple of things, as far as resilience and courage. Pascal Borno wanted so much for her to be here, to have this experience, about this work, her work, her work that is not just saying the lines, but bringing us together, and cheering us on. I'm inspired and I'm moved deeply by what she's teaching us everyday, just being out there smiling--and making sure we're all alright by the way--
Conor: Looking out for everybody else.
Abditory (n.): a place into which you can disappear; a hiding place. (1/4)

Carter: --Just call me. Or text, whatever. I don’t sleep much, anyway.
Lane: ...Okay. Thanks, Carter.
Carter: Anytime, kid.
Val: Carter!
Carter: Shit--Val. Don’t scare me like that.
Val: What are you doing with Olive’s little brother?
Carter: Kid looked like he could use a friend. So I gave him my number.
Val: Seriously?
Carter: Yeah. Seriously.
Val: You’re not gonna, like, mess with him, right?
Carter: Jesus, Val! No, the kid seems to get enough shit as it is. I’m not gonna ‘mess with him,’ jeez.
Val: Okay, sorry. I’m sorry. Lane’s not had it... easy. I’m a little protective of him, too. That’s cool of you, Carter.
Carter: It’s fine. What’s up with you, though? You normally go for a run in a blind rage?
Val: I do not have--’blind rage!’
Val: --I just know they’re keeping something from me. I overheard something about them ‘telling me soon’ right before Emmy left for Breitchester. And Olive’s never been a good liar. I spent the entire summer--alone. And I com ehome to the people I love most, and they keeping something from me. I don’t get it. So, I’m a little angry. And now I’m worried about Emmy--
Carter: She hasn’t been texting me back.
Val: Um. Right. You don’t know. Emmy got--lost in the woods this weekend--
Carter: What?!
Val: Her dad found her, don’t worry! But now no one can get ahold of her.
Carter: Jesus christ.
Val: Yeah.
Carter: You mind if I smoke? This is a lot to hear.
Val: I mean, yes, but is that going to stop you, Cancer Stick?
Carter: Oof, cold, Val. ‘Cancer Stick?’ Is that my name now?
Val: It will be if you keep smoking those damn things in my vicinity.
Carter: Ooh, ‘vicinity,’ big word.
Val: Shut the fuck up. You suck.
Val: Summer sucks.
Carter: Yep. You can say that again.

Allyn Joslyn with Boris Karloff and with Jean Adair and Josephine Hull in the Broadway production of "Arsenic and Old Lace" at the Fulton Theatre in 1941.
I'm not sure if I ever posted Jakub's character page, so here it is :) He works as a woodworker and runs a small studio in Chicago.
His bio is short since I don't really need to explain all the Vasko Family Drama in his character page. I also write him as a pseudo-father to Alena since Viktor's not in her life and Jakub has no children. It's stressful, but he loves his niece and sister-in-law too much to not help out.
Also he has a spouse! FtNB (not out obviously but they both know somethings gay here) mechanic with chronic pain and mobility aids (they have a cane hand carved by Jakub.) Their name is Allyn, they're German, and Jakub met them in a bar in Germany before they all immigrated to the US. Allyn's English isn't very good, and they're very reserved and quiet. They also have some anger issues.
