Probably the worst thing about still living with my parents is that I have to tell them if I’m calling in sick for work or else they’re going to be like “Why aren’t you at work?” and if I tell them I’m feeling sick they act like it’s a moral failing in my part. Like my work ethic isn’t strong enough to go to my job where I take care of children while I’m clearly sick and could throw up at any second.

Of course, they only hold me to this standard while my brother has been out of college for almost a year and hasn’t even tried a job search and they just let him play video games all day and go on trips with his friends that my parents pay for.
