Things I forget about my mom all the time:

- She used to be a body builder for quite a while (not hugely jacked like some body builders but she worked out like one)

- Due to growing up in the late 70s early 80s, she has had one occasion where she was almost kidnapped

- Was at a dojo once and the leader wanted her to join his weird cult thing because he claimed to be "Jesus reincarnated" and she was "Mary reincarnated"

- She dated a different guy before my dad and he told her she would end up dating my dad after they broke up

- Her and her friends called my dad Goob

#like I'll be reminded of these things by her stories every now and then #the cult thing came out of the blue for me because one day my dad was telling stories about his life #and so they told me about it and how my dad got out with the help of my mom #along with a few of their friends #it was wild #also the bodybuilder thing she brings up every once in a while #along with how she used to teach aerobics to old ppl
