The Chaos Space Marine lineup doesn't really need a lot right now, unless you're holding out for a new Defiler or updated tanks, so I'm not at all surprised to see that the forthcoming Codex is launching with an HQ update and not much else.

What did surprise me was that both the lord on foot and lord with jump pack are getting revamps - I would have figured one or the other for a generic CSM character, but it's always nice to have options. Between this and the new Kill Team upgrade sprue, it should be a great time for Night Lords players.

The battleforce boxes in which they'll first appear have the potential to be a pretty significant savings if you're just getting started with the traitor legions - but it's a lot of models most CSM players probably already have and I worry that it'll struggle to move as a result.

just noticed the earlier version of dogmeat invluded in the final release. i love seeing dev stuff like this, its clear a ton of love went into making this character ❤️

#the model is fully weighted and presumable worked at some point but i had to chunk it up and edit the alpha properties to get all the #mesh parts to show #its definetly early because it has no material path and used direct links to textures like skyrim #also the nifskope preview is in a running pose? though importing it into os puts it into idle pose #the whiskers are cute i should add them back in. eyebrows doggie.

On The Hunt Preview

“You are distracted.” Shuri pointed out while she stepped back, sweat was dripping down the side of your face while you panted, the hot muggy air making you feel like you were sucking it through a straw. “I would say it’s impairing your performance but we all know how easily I can kick your ass.” 

You glared at your friend, still weaving on your feet and lashing out with a sharp punch towards her, which she blocked with a slight stumble, making your Little Wolf feel satisfied that perhaps reminded the princess they were still a force to reckon with. You kept up the pressure, a variety of punches and kicks passed between the two of you was more like a dance than fighting. “So sorry your highness, I didn’t know I wasn’t meeting your expectations.” 

Shuri flashed a feral grin, her next move a surprising sweep of her leg, hooking her foot around the back of your thigh, sending you sailing through the air and soon you were looking up at the clear blue Wakanda skyline and your body was thrumming in shock at the impact. “It’s okay Y/N, I will learn to deal with it somehow.” Her hand shot out, clasping yours and helping you up to a stand. “Now spill, is it because the big surly Alphas are here?” 

You snort as you brush yourself off, arching up into a stretch. “Surly? They would love to know that’s what you thought of them.” 

“Okay, that dark one they call the White Wolf looks a bit surly.” Shuri grinned, glancing at you while she moved into a pose, stretching her body out and holding herself steady, working on her balance. “Your Alpha…” 

“Ex Alpha.” You pointed out, the sting of your words making the Little Wolf withdraw a bit. 

Please… don’t disappear today. You silently pleaded, not wanting to feel the emptiness in your mind. You felt her waver, but with grace, she settled back into your consciousness for now. 

“Ex Dumbass,” Shuri muttered and you couldn’t help but break into an amused smile at her words. “How are you doing… with him here?” She finally ventured to ask. You took one last deep breath, letting your aching muscles scream one last time till you let your body relax out of the pose you had taken, getting ready to move into the next one. Her question was complicated, now that the initial shock of seeing him has worn off, you felt all sorts of ways.

I updated and converted @imadako’s star eyes from facepaint to eyecolor! These are some of my favorite eyes!

Nondefault Eye Colors:

Enabled for all occults and all ages, except werewolves who need a special package because otherwise it’ll glitch out. Everyone deserves special sparkle eyes <3

Tagged with eye color on the normal package, werewolf eyes don’t seem to be tagged with eye colors normally so I didn’t tag any.

Enabled for random. I’ve also included versions where it’s disabled for random in case you hate fun. You can’t use both at the same time.

Does not require original (no mesh is used). I would advise using my updated version as the original is not enabled for anything.

Sorted at 3000 so they probably won’t get mixed in with any cc eye colors you already have. The werewolf eyes are not sorted specially.

There are four werewolf packages because I accidentally created them with a specular initially. So that’s just an option you can have. The preview is taken with the specular version.

Facepaint Update:

Updated for all ages and all occults (except werewolves). Yay, sparkle eyes for toddlers!

Enabled for both masculine and feminine fashion choices.

Color tags added and swatches sorted to be in the same order as the nondefault eyes (but the swatch colors are unchanged from the original package.)

Disabled for random (originally enabled for random).

Thumbnail added to the first swatch for easier locating. 

Batchfixed to enable makeup sliders. 

Skinblend used is Dusty by squea. Hairs are: Island living hair (green) and Zander hair by johnnysimmer (blue). If there are any issues or if you have any questions, please contact me!

Ya see, im a loser, aight, lol. I basically replay this game over and over, and i gotten so good at gaining stats, im stronk af in the game. And what im upset about, tho, is that because my character is so strong and competent and skilled, they dont really get hurt lmfao. Now, some might be saying, but that is a good thing?! Aint it?! And you would be correct! Except im delulu, and i love the scene where Blade gets all angry that MC got bit by that fish with acid blood lolololol. I gotta relearn how to not be such a strong character so i can live my delulu dream lmfaooooo.

Damian as his father's son

Damian mentions from the very first panel that he has a plan to fix this mess as he's his father son:

And after the Batman vs Robin comic it was much needed some positive interaction between that parent and child duo. Damian is right, he has inherited his father's wit and leadership skills and more importantly he was trained by the Bat himself so in a time of need ( like now for example) he's ready to fill in his shoes and succeed.

The pressure brings Dream back to the present, and when his eyes meet Hob’s, the alpha has his head tilted, a questioning look of concern on his face. Dream shakes first his head, and then his wrist loose from Hob’s grip.

On The Hunt Preview

Instead, you went to where T’Challa held debriefings. Slipping into a seat, you glanced around the room. Okoye was in her designated seat, along with Nakia who was fidgeting ready to return back to the survivors, other panthers of power within Wakanda, and then there, at the end of the table sat Steve and Bucky. 

Bucky looked on edge, you imagined the White Wolf in him would be bristling with energy. So many shifters in one space and Bucky typically kept to himself from what you were told even before he was captured. His gaze kept shifting around the room, taking note of who was there as well as any escape exits available.

Steve was calm by appearance, but you could see his slight fidget where he was bouncing a leg underneath the table, clear blue eyes sliding face to face, categorizing friend or foe to those he considered in his protection. Meaning Bucky. You were no longer considered his. 

<You know Steve would step in if we were threatened.> Your Little Wolf chiming into your inner thoughts made you want to push her away and give you absolute privacy. But you couldn’t do that, not when you knew you both shared each other. 

I know he would, you are not telling me anything I don’t already know. 

<Then why are you lying to yourself?> 

Because it’s easier to think I don’t matter to him, okay! You watched as his eyes bounced to you occasionally, softening before his expression dropped to the table. Like he wasn’t allowing himself to look at you. But you didn’t miss the longing there. 

Good, let him suffer. You thought to yourself while your Little Wolf gave a huff of her own, frustrated with the tension. You turned towards where T’Challa was calling for everyone's attention. “The camp was dismantled.” He announced and an approved mummer went up among the crowd. “Ulysses though managed to evade us.” You glanced at Okoye, her stoic features never breaking but you imagined she was upset that the mission didn’t pan out as planned. “But… Shuri…” T’Challa’s hand waved towards his sister, who chose this moment to bounce into the room with a cheery grin on her face, a tablet clutched to her chest. “Has a drone following his movements.” 

“Perfect.” You hear one of the panthers growl out, casting a mistrusting eye to Steve and Bucky at the end of the table. “Why do we have more wolves at the table then?” 

You knew you weren’t welcomed by everyone but to have Steve and Bucky elicit such a welcome made your Little Wolf growl sharply and it bubbled from you, a warning for anyone to try attacking them. Bucky stiffened slightly but Steve met the challenging panther's gaze face-on, unintimidated by the panther’s remark. 

T’Challa cleared his throat to break the sudden change in the room. “I welcomed them, they too are hunting the same man that we are. I trust them to join this council." You felt your heart sink, you felt it coming. “I am having them join us, Steve and Bucky are both well known for their skills in the field. Where Shuri can’t track Ulysses, the wolves can. None of you can deny that the wolves have a skill we panthers do not possess. Ulysses has been evading us for years, kidnapping our people and resources. Even I’m not too proud to admit we need their help. With Y/N’s help, we have been closer than ever before” He leveled a look for any protesting panther at the table, but all of them kept their mouths shut. 

You would be working with Steve, closely and you didn't know how to handle that.
