hmm, i don’t think it happened after rusty came to the forest, i have it happening at the same time as when he joined thunderclan, like it happens simultaneously (though it’s not really an official battle, it’s more like a border patrol gone wrong via tigerclaw)

What would you rename Softwing and Owlfur?

Softwing is merely described as tabby-and-white with no indication of what that tabby color is. Going by her daughter’s colors, I’ll just have fun and say she’s ginger-and-white. 

Soft-, obviously, is not a good name for any kit (it’d be like naming her Furry- or Young-). There aren’t a ton of ginger-and-white names, but I think Tip- or Bright- might sound pretty. As for her suffix...she’s not really much of anything, except maybe fast enough to outrun a dog, so Tipfoot or Brightfur could work?

Owlfur could actually work, depending on how much of him is white. Owl- is good for a brown cat. Assuming that, like his icon, he’s mostly brown and just has some white markings, he can keep his prefix. If he’s more white than that, then maybe Duck- or Plover- as a replacement. His suffix would stay the same - aside from being pretty snarky, there’s not a lot going on for him. Duckfur or Ploverfur, then.

Dovewing x Briarlight. Two loving cats who will hold each other up in times of danger and make sure the other is doing ok once it’s passt. And I like to think after her accident Dovewing was always there to cheer her on and that’s where things slowly started to kick off.

Plus when Tigerheart or Bumblestripe are being dicks Briarlight  tells them to fuck off along with her mate in the nicest way

Full disclosure, I don’t even remember. All I remember is that it was from some long-defunct forum on like the 7th page of google results I had to register for before I could download it.

<3 i’m still in the drafting stages for most stuff! i just got back into warriors literally two weeks ago.

that said...my warriors pseud on ao3 is mallowstep and i can add you to the tag list for anything you're interested in so when i do publish it, i can notify you in the meantime, i have a lot of essays/vaguely narrative pieces of worldbuilding, which you can read here.

the first book of cloudtail's daughter is about 10% written, so depending on how much leniency i give myself with editing time and the like, i'll probably be able to start posting in 3 to 6 months. it's unlikely to be less but it's not impossible. i'm in university rn so when the semester ends i'll have much more time.

dovefeather and jaywing are both also long, so who knows on those?

most likely, i'll publish ashes first (that's the "what if ashfur...was not terrible and squirrelflight didn't choose brambleclaw" au), and i'm hoping i can publish that within a month or two. i'm aiming for < 10k words on that because anything more than that goes into the “major projects section” of my to-write list and that’s already got three active projects so i’m not adding any others.

uhhh wow i cannot overstate how happy you’ve made me with this ask tho...if there was something in particular u were looking for? feel free to let me know and i’ll try to bump it up the priority list or at least do a one-shot about it or something i’m highly motivated 

hopefully i’ll have a writing calendar on my blog in a few weeks, but my university has two midterm weeks, so i’m rapidly approaching the second week of midterms and who knows what i’ll accomplish during that.

last set of midterms, i wrote, like, an absurd number of words plotting out CTD. so maybe this time i’ll write an entire book.

okay whoops sorry i started rambling anyway! i have one more writing session planned today so i’m really not kidding when i say if you have a request i may be able to post a one shot for it within like 12 hours. depends how my chem hw goes but...

“Yeah, well, have fun, daddy,” Dib shot back, shoving the robotic baby doll that was sparking on the edges from a decade of use directly against Zim’s chest.

It was pretty funny when those sparks hit Zim’s Pak and dropped both the irken and the doll to the floor.

What would you rename Talltail/star and Deadfoot?

Deadfoot I would keep the same! He has a foot that no longer works, thus his name fits. As long as he’s cool with it, who cares? It’s a kickass sounding name anyway. 

Tallstar I did rename to Rookstar in the Redux, but I did change his appearance a little to fit it. Since he’s described as black-and-white patched, I’d maybe go with Magpie- or Swift- as a prefix. For suffix... I really don’t know! He’s not quite the character I remember from the series, according to the Wiki. I guess the best I can say is that he’s shown promise as a moor runner and sprinter, so maybe -foot? That’d make him Magpiefoot or Swiftfoot, replaced later with -star.

What would you rename pineheart/star?

Probably just change his prefix to Cypress- or Cedar-. Still a tree, and it fits his color. Though, honestly, I’d change him to a regular brown, since it’d be nice to have him look like his son, implying the long tradition of toms of this family sharing the classic dark brown tabby look.
