[ Hey uhhh I know there’s literally eleven of you and most of y’all don’t talk to me, but I got some Headcanons ]
I do not actually have a faceclaim for Doyle yet. I know how tall he is, and I know his skin, hair, and eye colors. Dark circles, because the only person in his army that gets less sleep than him is one Doctor Emily Grey. But as for facial hair? Glasses? His actual build? Marks and scars? Whomst? What does this man actually look like? We just don’t know. We can’t pick this man out of a lineup.
Both of them speak multiple languages other than English. They both speak French and Italian at semi-fluent levels. One speaks better French, one speaks better Italian, those languages coming easier to them due to French, Spanish, and Italian all being Romance languages and having enough similarities that they can pretty much figure them out.
Doyle speaks fluent Irish Gaelic, and can pretty much understand Scottish Gaelic. He can read Latin, but not speak it. He can count to ten and ask a few necessary questions ( “do you speak English, French, Italian,” “where is the hospital,” that kind of thing ) in three additional languages. He doesn’t speak Spanish as well as he’d like to, but he’s figuring it out.
Emily, who speaks fluent Spanish, also speaks some German. She knows a few key phrases in several other languages, including Mandarin, enough to do her job, though she can only understand some of them spoken or at least written phonetically.
They both can also sign, with Emily understanding ASL, and Doyle knowing BSL. Emily’s rudimentary signing is pretty much limited to the alphabet, several random words, and medical signs, but Doyle can have full conversations.
Doyle’s handwriting is incredibly neat, he tends to write in cursive, and he did learn to do calligraphy, though he doesn’t use that very much anymore. Emily is left-handed, and a doctor. She has handwriting very stereotypical of both of those conditions. It gets to the point where she will dictate notes to be written down, record herself speaking her notes, or type her notes. That’s how bad her handwriting is.
In just about any timeline following the events of the actual series, or direct off-shoots, ( i.e. Alternate Armonia, the reanimation au ), Emily’s work space contains a well-maintained array of security cameras and monitors, and she appears very nervous when she is away from it. This is entirely due to the narrow field of view of the Prefect helmets: she does not have peripheral vision in that helmet.
Doyle is allergic to insect stings, has numerous phobias ( including some very specific ones ), has low blood pressure, and can be a bit of a hypochondriac.
