‘Silco thinks he made Jinx, with all his rants’ etc. Silco thinks that he is what made Jinx, Jinx. Silco thought he had successfully supplanted Vi as Jinx’s primary motivation for what she did, but Jinx claims that is not true.

Jinx claims that Vi “was always there. Pushing me.” which I interpret in several simultaneous ways. As a torment, as a motivator, as a comfort, as a frustrating out-of-reach ideal she could never hope to match.

Vi was also there for when “all the colors turned black”. Silco was there for the meltdowns, the spiralling, the panic and chaos that would crop up from time to time, but as for the silent despair? It seems that Silco was not immune to the unfortunate tendency where those close to a depressed person do not pick up on that person’s suffering. Not out of negligence, apathy, or ineptitude, but because those who suffer from the sort of despair Jinx describes do so behind a very tight fitting happy mask, and in a small way you want to believe that the pain someone feels is not as bad as it really is. It’s okay, it’s fixable, it is not a pervasive state of existence but a temporary phenomenon.

In a roundabout ironic sense, Silco fulfilled his role as a father very well by being blind to his child’s suffering. And like a father often does, he misunderstands his daughter’s problem. He tries to mould it and liken it to something he can understand in order to apply his solution, which is a VERY Dad thing to do. The difference between Vander and Silco and Vi and Powder is the exact circumstances of betrayal. Vander tried to actively kill Silco, a man he considered a comrade and brother. Vi in an understandable fit of rage left Powder. A direct murder attempt v. abandonment will not have the same trauma attached to it. The betrayal of one’s trust vs. forsaking unconditional love.

And Jinx held no illusions that Silco was responsible for Vander’s death, ultimately, at the end of the day. She accused him of it. She knows what he is. (One could make an argument as to whether she has always felt this way toward Silco and just put it aside, or if the clash of Vi + Caitlyn, Silco, and the shimmer amplified subconscious ideas and pieces finally fit together so that she could finally make sense of the cosmic stew of her feelings)

But she had had no one else. Silco was right there. He raised her, cared for her, so what other choice did she have? Deny herself of those things because of who was giving them to her?

There is also the ambiguity of Vi saying “We can go” while Jinx is threatening Caitlyn. Vi doesn’t make clear if she means [Jinx and Vi] can go, or [Caitlyn and Vi].

I like to think that Jinx’s voices pointed that out to her and teased her with ‘your sister means her and the enforcer, not you.’

Uggggh there is so much happening. So many strings and loyalties tied to Jinx’s heart.

The fox likes sitting on her arm

You met Caitlyn while she was out with a man she called Jayce. She was hovering around him, picking things up and examining them. She asked questions about why he would need certain things while he gave her half answers, probably because of your obvious company.

Eventually she got tired of his not completely honest answers and turned to you. She started asking questions and you answered, asked some of your own. You quickly got on and eventually she started coming in to hang around the shop and occasionally buy things to take home. Then one night it was late and dark and you, used to the dangers of the Undercity, offered to walk her home and she said yes.

It was raining and you were both soaked by the time you arrived at the gated house. Your breath was taken away just by the sight of it. It was huge. All the houses in the era were larger and more fancy than you’d ever seen in your life.

“Well, this is me,” Caitlyn said, tugging at the bottom of her shirt.

“You’ve got a nice house,” you said.

“Yeah, maybe someday you can come inside,” she said, bumping her shoulder with yours. “I should go, my mom’s probably worried.”

“Yeah,” you said, a jealousy prickling your insides.

Caitlyn grabbed your hand and squeezed it. “I actually wanted to ask you a question,” she said. “Do you want to go on a date? You can say no! But I really like you and not in a platonic way but I really also wanna stay friends so you can say no if you think it’s too much or you don’t want to or—“

“I’d love to,” you told her and she smiled.

She brushed some of the hair stuck to her forehead away from it and squeezed your hand. “How about this weekend? Meet me at the bridge?”

“Sounds perfect,” you said.

You went back to the Last Drop with the smallest skip in your step.

“You look happy,” Vander said as you sat down at the counter. “What happened?”

You sat back in your seat. “Can I just be happy?” you asked.

“No, no, of course you can,” he said, moving to grab you a cup and make you a nonalcoholic drink. “Just wondering what made you come in with such a big smile on your face is all.”

You shrugged and looked off to the side. It wasn’t busy tonight. It normally wasn’t when rain was on the forecast, except for the occasional few who came in trying to escape it.

Vander handed you your cup and you took it before you went downstairs to find Vi, Powder, Claggor, and Mylo all sitting, sprawled out over the couches.

“You’re late,” Vi said.

You took a long sip of your drink and spun around as you debated whether or not to tell them before you just blurted it out, “I’ve got a date this weekend.”

Powder was the first to react, sitting straight where she was hunched over the table, a screwdriver and whatever she was working on once in hand now on the table. “What?!” she asked, no anger, simply excitement in her tone.

“You? You got a date?” Mylo asked.

“Congratulations,” Claggor said, “who is it?”

Powder stood up and grabbed your hand. “Can I help you pick out an outfit?” she asked, tugging on your hand once with every word.

“Huh,” Vi said as she relaxed in her chair.

Together, with all their help (Mylo being the least helpful and Ekko heard from Powder and coming in to help), you picked out an outfit. It was your only pair of pants that weren’t covered in patchwork or holes paired with a cropped, sleeveless shirt with frog buttons in a color Claggor and Ekko swore matched your skin tone perfectly and shoes that Vi helped you clean and try to shine. You also let Powder do your hair.

You met Caitlyn at the bridge and she looked at you with eyebrows high, eyes wide, and mouth low as a blush started to fork over her cheeks. She held out her hand and led you into the woods.

“I found this place while I was doing some target practice,” she said.

Eventually you got to a small pond. Caitlyn spread out the blanket she got while you squatted near the water. You put your hand under it and watched it drip off your fingers when you brought it out. You’d never seen water this clean, especially water that hadn’t been run through some piping system.

“This place is beautiful,” you said.

“I know, right?” Caitlyn replied as she started taking foods and drink out of a basket she’d brought. “It’s nice to get away from the cities, all the mechanical stuff and just bask in nature.”

“Yeah,” you said, agreeing absentmindedly as you looked up. You could see the sky, blue and clear, through the small clearing in the trees above you. “It really is.”

Caitlyn stood beside you for a moment. Then she hesitantly grabbed your hand. When you squeezed it, still taking in the sights more than you were processing what was happening, she leaned against you.

“Are you hungry? I brought food.”

You ate the best meal you’d ever had that day in company you enjoyed more than you enjoyed most. You laughed a lot. You smiled so much your cheeks hurt. You felt safe. You’d never felt that before but here, with Caitlyn, you truly, fully felt safe. It was a nice feeling to have.

You went back that night with your head in the clouds and recounted everything to Powder who hung onto your every word and Vi who scoffed and acted like she didn’t care but you could tell she did. You were, after all, the first of the group to go on a real date with someone you liked and who liked you, for now they’d have to live vicariously through you.

It didn’t take long into your tentative relationship for Caitlyn to start sneaking you into her room. It was large. A bed bigger than any you’d seen pressed against the middle of the wall, a dresser beside it, a desk in a different corner, a storage box parallel to it. It was huge.

Eventually though, you got into a habit of sneaking into her room after you were finished working and she’d bring you some of the high quality food prepared for a council member and her family for your own dinner. Occasionally you’d save any sweets she may have brought to give to the others. That was when Mylo finally admitted that maybe you having a girlfriend wasn’t a completely awful thing.

You were sneaking in one night when your foot caught the window and you fell. You muffled your own grunt and stayed still for a moment. You couldn’t hear anything, no footsteps, no talking. Maybe no one heard you.

You righted yourself and brushed off your clothes. You’d been trying to keep your clothes cleaned these past few weeks, if purely because you didn’t want to get Caitlyn’s pretty, expensive things dirty. Maybe it didn’t matter as much to her but just a couple things from her room alone could feed you and your friends for over a month in the Lanes.

You sat down on Caitlyn’s footstool and retied your shoe. It was stupid of you to not have done so earlier. You should know better by now. You did, actually. You should do better. Just because Caitlyn was your girlfriend and an alley didn’t mean everyone in Piltover was.

You shook your head as you finished your retying. Then you stood up.

You rocked back and forth on your heels as you debated what to do with your time spent waiting on Caitlyn. Obviously, it couldn’t be something that would draw attention. It couldn’t be loud or cause a lot of movement.

You sighed.

Then suddenly the door opened and a woman holding a rifle was in your face. You immediately stumbled backward.

Powder running for Vi. An enforcer with a rifle. You ran for her. Tackled her down just as a gunshot rang out. Losing sight of Vi in the process.

“Mom! Wait!” Caitlyn’s voice said as you fell to the ground.

Yelling voices drowned out by the sounds of fighting. Fire everywhere. Smoke filled your lungs. Powder’s hand in yours as you continued to search for Vi.

“She’s a friend. She’s my friend,” Caitlyn said as the sound of hurried footsteps drew closer.

Running towards Violet. A bomb sounded in the distance. She grew closer.

A hand gently touched your shoulder.

You grabbed Vi’s hand and yanked her and Powder out of the main thoroughfare of the fighting.

“Hey, are you okay?” Caitlyn asked. “Talk to me. You’re scaring me.”

A body next you. A body far away. Bodies everywhere. Your parents’ bodies. A broken cry for them to be okay, to wake up, they were scaring you.

Caitlyn called your name and ran her hands up and down your arms.

Your name being said, distant, so distant. A hand on your arm guiding you away.

Caitlyn’s hands cradled your face, wiping away tears you hadn’t processed fall. “Hey, it’s okay. You’re safe, I promise. You're with me.”

“You’re safe here with me, kid. It’s all over now. I promise.”

Caitlyn’s hand grabbed your own and held it to her chest. Your fingers twitched as you could feel her heartbeat, her chest rise and fall.

“Breathe with me,” she said before doing an over exaggerated breath.

“Breathe, kid. Breathe.”

You copied her best you could.

Slowly but surely you calmed down and she held you close. “It’s okay, you’re safe with me,” she said and you believed her. Surrounded by stuffy Piltover things, you believed her.

You slowly wrapped your arms around her and held her just as close. You breathed in the smell of pine trees and nuzzled your head against soft fabric.

“Do you want me to walk you home?” she asked.

“Please,” you said, voice broken.

She helped you up and you almost numbly suggest that she change, don’t want people to know that a Pilty is down in the Lanes. She dressed down as best as she could and dragged you through her front door, past her mom who she glared at and her dad who looked at you with sympathy you didn’t care to see.

For the first time, you led her to your home. Down the mineshaft and through the streets until you got to the Last Drop. You held her hand tightly the entire time and no one gave you trouble, recognizing you as one of Vander’s kids or not seeing you as prime mugging targets.

You opened the door to the Drop and Vander looked up immediately. His brows furrowed with worry and he stepped out from behind the counter.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked, pulling you aside and letting you drag Caitlyn along with you.

You didn’t say anything, just used your free arm to hug him. He hugged you back hesitantly, carefully, so gently. Caitlyn squeezed your hand.

“I should probably go,” she said when you pulled away.

“Nonsense,” Vander said. “It’s dangerous at the best of times. Wait until morning at least. Come on, let’s get you downstairs.”

Vander didn’t go back up until he saw you in the care of Vi and Powder who you immediately drew into hugs. You pulled Caitlyn into your bed with the duo of sisters and cuddled up to her while Powder and Vi settled next to you. Powder with her head laying on your thigh and Vi with her hand on your ankle.

Caitlyn gingerly wrapped her arms around your torso and rested her head against yours.

“I love you,” she said in a quiet voice. “You don’t have to say it back. I just wanted you to know.”

You hugged her back tighter and fell asleep with her in your arms and the tight feeling in your heart just a little bit looser.

For the Silco one, to be a DM, you gotta have some serious strategy skills & a great deal of understanding for how certain things work. You have to plan everything out ahead of time while also being quick at improvising in case your players do something you didn't account for because players are chaos gremlins.

So, I could see Silco using Reader to inspire Zaun to rise up & helping him to strategize on how to actually achieve his goal of freedom for Zaun.

Also, considering how well Reader & Jinx would get along, I bet he'd be endeared to them too.

A/N: Hey bestie, so sorry for the time this took me lol, but as I said on a previous post i finally did my college finals and finally had time to write, sadly i don’t write for Jayce as said here, but i hope you liked it😊

Silco

Silco met you when you offered to take the job as a shimmer dealer for him

He didn't wanted you to take part in it thinking you could not take your job seriously, but let's just say that after some Firelight attacks and some bored Jinx days he was kinda understaffed

As soon as you started on the job he saw that you were kind of good on you deals, being the dealer with the most costumers

One of the few reasons as why he thought you were not as serious was when he heard the rumours about your "silly game" as he himself called

But one time Jinx asked if you could teach her how to play after you explained that yes, you could tecnically do a Piltover roleplay where she could blow everything up

So when you were teaching her how to play Silco overheard you planning all the attacks and lore for the universe you were creating

But he got even more interested when you simply wrote a perfect strategy on shipment reception where nor guards nor Firelights could see, and would also led to a path were he could get all his deals to the upside and also keep an eye on the council

Oh bestie the LOOK on his face when Sevika arrived saying not only mission was complete but they also had a clear path and vision on the council bussiness without being discovered

That’s when he oficially invited you to be his strategist on every mission to both Piltover and the undercity

That’s when nights after nights of planning finally made the both of you into a couple, two of the most intelligent minds rulling the undercity

Vi

I can see you and Vi being friends even before the factory explosion, as you were really close to Powder and Ekko and since childhood loved to play rpg's

But when you met again after Caitlyn released her from prision and she saw you were a dealer she was furious

Until she finally understood that you weren't exactly on the bussines on a matter of wanting but as a matter of needing, she let you off a little

After some talk and her explaining why they needed the help you immediately offered all the knowledge you had on Silco’s bussines and also helped them on planning the whole thing

Not only that, but after you gave a whole theatrical speech on how everyone should fight the addiction that silco was creating on the zaunites

(Yes, they had a revolution against Silco, my fic my au lol)

But it was only after they regained control over the city and The Last Drop was finally run by her and Jinx again that she realized the old feelings for you were coming back

Not only you helped her get her sister back, but you also comoted a literal mob to help her

You were the one that did all the strategy on reformulating the city on their new rules (yes, that's how you called the new set of laws), and also lended your boards so they could decide on how they would renovate the city

After all you were just the perfect couple of punks helping the people who needed the most

Viktor

You only met Viktor cause being from the undercity himself he wasn’t afraid when you came to be the new intern of the academy

You got caught on the run while dealing with some people from the topside, but the people on the council knew about how you were Silco’s right hand on strategy

So instead of letting you rot in jail they offered you to be an internt on city engineering

(Was that something that the council often did? No, was that only possible cause Heimerdinger and Mel wanted to beneficiate from you? Oh absolutely!)

And after every oficial teacher had declined to keep you as their apprentice, Viktor volunteered to do so

He didn’t thought much of it at first, thinking you were just a troublemaker that wanted to get out of the undercity conditions, and that was one of the resons he volunteered to take care of you

But after some rumors that the undercity was planning an attack he saw you carefully writing down a whole campaing on possibilities of both sides on winning and tried to advise the council, but was only dismissed and told that he should not give you attention on stupid games

But that only lasted till the day of the attack, as for their surprise, all your predictions were right and they lost many enforcers to Silco’s goons, and then they finally took you seriously

He couldn’t be more proud of you as you were not just an intern anymore, but was officially one of the most important strategists of the council, proving that in the end you just wanted to help the people of the city to scape Silco’s command and have a better life

And i can really say you two make an amazing duo (yes, im a sucker for the completely different aesthetics couple)

EXPERIENCE  /  HOW  LONG  (  MONTHS  /  YEARS? ) :　Holy shit, you want me to count that far back. You want me to tell you how old I really am!?! So, I started to roleplay when computers were pretty new to houses. YES! I was one of those kids that was graced by the first computers in houses! I think my first computer was a IMB one or something, but I started playing on a computer with internet back in 2000. My parents didn't have a lot of money so we couldn't get an earlier computer; this was a gift from a friend at church for me. It had Windows 98 I think or something. I don't know.

Anyway, got distracted, but when that  came around, one of the first forums every I think that had roleplaying on the web was called Avidgamers. I played Pokemon as a self insert character. One liner diaster writer I was. So yeah, I've been roleplaying for about 23 years now, but in terms of writing, I have been writing stories since I was 9 years old, so that is about 26 years (I use to also write self insert stories in Sailor Moon or Pokemon or things like that XD). Anywho, I went on a tangent, anyone who reads this your amazing.

BEST  EXPERIENCE :　Oh man, I'm not sure. There are so many things that could be my best. I use to own forums before, I had some amazing partners. I miss them dearly and I hope they are doing amazing things now. Honestly, I think its just the level of growth I've had over the years. From going to being a self-insert writer who could only write a line or two, to now trying to expand my writing and doing more. To be more quality then quantity, but also meeting partners who absolutely challenge me to write better and be better. I want to be good for people, but there are those partners that absolutely push me to try even harder and be even better.

RP  PET  PEEVES  /  DEALBREAKERS :　I'm not saying this is a pet peeve? but I typically stray away from one liners or massive purple prose writing that I don't understand what I'm reading. While I never deny anyone's choice of writing, these are the things I tend to stay away from because I personally cannot write them. I  can't really say what my pet peeves are? I probably have some but I don't know of the top of my mind.

MUSE  PREFERENCES  FLUFF,   ANGST  OR  SMUT :　I am, hands down, an absolute fiend for angst. I know it might be overwhelming for some people but I really find it carthatic for myself? and have a double enjoyment of angst that turns to fluff. I like to call it Angsty Fluff, or Fluffy Angst. The bonding of two people in difficult moments whether that is fighting to survive death or helping someone through a rough period. Two people, bonding and encouraging each other is something I really enjoy to write. I also don't mind writing smut, I actually enjoy it but I do tend to write smut with people who I heavily plot with often.

PLOTS  OR  MEMES :　Plots. While I post memes a lot, I do try to create a plot line to those memes too. I need some kidn of foundation. I am not looking for a written out script we have to follow to a T, that's not what I mean. What I am looking for is just like this idea to build around, maybe even talking about our muses connections and waht they are dealing with at the time. That kind of foundation and design really helps me feel more connected to our msues and the writing. I love memes, but I tend to only continue memes with people I plot with a lot.

LONG  OR  SHORT  REPLIES :　I love long threads. like you don't have to apologize for anything because I thrive on really long replies. I have had replies go up to 1.5k words, which absolutely thrills me. The shortest replies I can do is maybe 2 paragraphs. Any shorter then that, and I tend to loose interest and have to drop it.

BEST TIME TO WRITE :　Honestly, no idea. I am far more productive at night my time (CST). I tend to stay up til 2 or 3am.

ARE  YOU  LIKE  YOUR  MUSE(S) :　Caitlyn is very much my muse, so much so we relate on many different levels. I understand her deeply and I'm very connected to her. As for my other muses, yes and now. But caitlyn, hands down, is almost like a part of me that I get to write fully.

i'm just gonna send you an ask directly to avoid touching that gigantic post again lol

the main thing i want to address is this: "I mean, honestly, I don't think Vi loves Jinx." because i super disagree with that. when jinx walks away from her in the end, it hurts her so much that she breaks down and cries which is something she almost never does. vi doesn't look at jinx and see a new person, she just sees powder, her little sister, who she loves more than anything in the whole world. and that view of jinx is accurate--jinx is her sister, and vi doesn't need another reason to love her.

now obviously jinx has changed a lot since she was a kid. i think the real issue on vi's end is that, while vi loves jinx as much as she ever did, she doesn't understand her at all, and how could she? because unlike with jinx and ekko or even jinx and caitlyn, we have seen every single minute that vi has spent with jinx since getting out of prison, and it's...not very long at all. she's spent maybe twenty minutes with her in the last six or seven years. but i think, right now at least, not knowing her sister anymore doesn't affect the way she feels about her. my One Fear^tm is that the more vi is acquainted with who jinx has become, the more that distinction between powder and jinx will form in her mind and the less she'll be able to love the "new" powder. and that possibility is incredibly upsetting to say the least, but i don't think we're nearly there yet and i am holding onto hope that we never will be.

Well, see that's kind of my point, right? She doesn't even know the person who is her sister, now. So how could she really love that person in the way that she thinks? She loves the memories she's been hanging on to of someone who doesn't really exist anymore, at least not in the way she knew her. That's the whole crux of the tragedy. By the way this also applies to Jinx and what she means in her final line. Jinx was also hanging on to an idealized version of Vi who doesn't really exist anymore and similarly can't accept that she's gone changed. So, what happened in the final scene, I think, is that they both realized that the person they loved is gone, or so irrevocably changed as to be effectively gone. That's why Vi broke down like she did, and was the last thing that pushed Jinx completely over the edge. I think they're both going to continue seeing parts of the person they cared about before in the other, but....yeah I share your One Fear. The more they come to be at odds based on the sides they've chosen, the more they're going to resent each other as they are now until we finally get that actual physical fight between them teased in the intro.

My One Hope, though, is that they can get to the point where they both accept and forgive the other for how they've changed and still care about each other.

like this is not JUST sadness. this is caitlyn's "i want to say something but i don't know what" face. and she's so respectful of vi's wishes that she just keeps quiet and hugs her instead of saying anything, and even then she hesitates like she's not totally sure if she's allowed to do it, or if she's supposed to be feeling this way after such a short time.

Honestly, this scene was handled so masterfully! And at this point, the only thing Caitlyn knows about Jinx is that she works for Silco and was the one to steal the hexcrystal before almost blowing her up (unknowingly, for the second time). Yet she doesn't make a comment about Jinx like Ekko does. Caitlyn doesn't tell Vi that she should give up on her sister because she's become a hardened criminal. She lets Vi be because she can see how much she loves her sister. And she's not going to hold her back because of feelings she's only recently developed. It wouldn't be right of her to expect Vi to choose her over Powder. Not now.

That's why she's slightly hesitant to hug Vi and reveal any of those feelings. But then, unexpectadly for Caitlyn, Vi shows that she reciprocates those feelings (with "It's been real, Cupcake" and the cheek touch). In light of this newfound mutuality, they both let their gaurd down a little, and let any words they're not able to say seep into each other by hugging even tighter.

◈　what made you pick up the current muse(s) you have?　 ⋯ 　For my fandomless OCs, it's just because I love their characters or have grown to over the years and to get to know them more so that when I write about them in my WIPs, they are fully fleshed out characters. Of course, there may be some differences between for example Tori & Alex in the RPC and Tori and Alex in my WIP about them. But I do feel RP helps me to get to know my muses a bit better. (I'm not going to do all of my fandomless OCs but I will say that I do love all of them. And have books planned for many of them, after I finish the books of Tori & Alex's story.)

For Antoinette, I was inspired after seeing Beauty and the Beast (2017), idk why. Something about that movie just caught my muse and I was like what if one of the feather dusters was gay and black and ...yeah, Antoinette was born! I absolutely adore her. <3

For the [Redacted] Doctor, they were born out of a desire to see T'Nia Miller portray the Doctor (even though she was already in Doctor Who. I know, I know. But so was Peter Capaldi.) And then I kind of developed a personality for the Doctor and a story and yeah. The rest is history. <3 I adore them so much too. <3

For The Thirteenth Doctor, what can I say? She's my Doctor and I love her. And I can relate to her so much, but I also admire her character as well. So she's an interesting muse to play. I love RPing her. <3

For my Witcher muses: Yennefer, Ciri, Renfri, and Jaskier: Yennefer I love but do find difficult at times. However, I welcome the challenge. And I look forward to getting better at slipping into her voice as time goes on. Ciri is my favorite character and so it was an easy choice picking her as a muse. Similar to 13, I can relate to aspects of Ciri while admiring others. And that makes her an interesting muse to play. Renfri, I loved her story in the book and in the show, and wanted to make her really come to life. Jaskier is probably in my top 5 favorite Witcher characters, at least in the show. He brings some lightness but also is not too light that it takes away from the realism. He's a well-rounded character, I think. I often suck at portraying male characters, at least IMO, but Jaskier was an easy one for me to write because he's not super macho or anything lol. And he's a character I can also relate to in some ways, so yeah.

For my Bridgerton muses: Daphne, Eloise, Benedict, Simon, Kate, and Penelope. I adore Bridgerton. It's like Jane Austen meets Gossip Girl with more diversity and so once I finished watching s2, I was like....I need to add muses. Daphne is a character I really enjoy and s1 is told through her perspective, so you really get to know her. Eloise is ahead of her time and so bold and I love her for it. Benedict is artistic and sensitive, especially for the time he lives in. Simon is also a character I really enjoy watching and getting to know in s1. Kate is probably my favorite character of all (Eloise is a close second. And Daphne is a close third.). And Penelope? Who wouldn't want to explore her complex character?

Now on to my Arcane muses. Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce, Viktor, and Mel. Vi is a bit of a challenge, but like with Yennefer, I enjoy it. Caitlyn is probably the character I relate to the most out of these muses of mine, so of course I had to RP her. Jayce, I thoroughly enjoy him. Viktor same. Mel same.

Motherland: Fort Salem muses: Raelle, Tally, Abigail, and Scylla. I relate the most to Raelle and Tally but I adore Abigail and Scylla as well. I love the show in general and it being taken off Hulu is my villain origin story lol. <3 So portraying these wonderful muses just made sense to me.

Ann Walker is the character/person I relate to the most in Gentleman Jack, I'm much more of an Ann than an Anne, though I'd say I have aspects of both. LOL. But yeah, I felt like she was underappreciated so I picked her up as a muse.

Laura & Carmilla from the Carmilla Webseries & Movie: I'm pretty much the bisexual nonbinary version of Laura. LOL. So I had to RP her. And while I can't fully relate to Carmilla I do adore her as a character, so RPing her seemed to make sense.

Now on to my ASOIAF/Game of Thrones muses: Daenerys and Arya. These two are my favorite characters in that world. And I can relate to and admire both of them. So like with 13 and Ciri, that makes them interesting muses to play.

◈　is there anything you don’t like to write?　 ⋯ 　Besides the obvious topics that I'm uncomfortable with that are in my rules, I'd say I don't want to write angst for the sake of angst. Like I love angst, don't get me wrong. I adore angst. But it has to make sense for my muse and their story. I feel the same way about fluff, btw. hahah. As long as the mood makes sense for my muse and their story, though, I'm good.

◈　is there anything you really enjoy writing?　 ⋯ 　Angst. Hurt/comfort. Fluff. Romance. Smut (sometimes). I enjoy writing anything and everything.

◈　how do you come up with headcanons?　 ⋯ 　It varies depending on muse. Sometimes if they're a canon muse, I'll react to themes or ideas or scenes in their canon. Or even fandom interpretations of them. For my OCs, I tend to think of headcanons based on what I feel needs expanding on. But tbh, I am always open to suggestions for headcanons for any of my muses.

A/N: A few of these characters are also touch starved so you know... takes one to know one and all that.

Jinx is very physically affectionate with you. Like very, very. That works out great for you because you can finally have those soft touches and looks and smiles that you've been craving all your life.

You can always feel her hand somewhere on you. Your shoulder, your back, holding your hand. She probably spends more time clinging to you then not. Doesn't care who sees it or what they say, if you're feeling alone and unwanted she will make it a priority to make you feel loved and wanted.

"Ain't gonna stop holding ya until ya tell me to sugar. Is the answer never? Fine by me. Great even. I've had partners tell me I'm too clingy before so I was honestly a little worried. Don't ya just love it when things work out? Only more proof that we're made for each other."

Vi is also touch starved. She is very, very touch starved. The smallest show of physical affection makes the both of you melt for each other and makes you crave more.

Blushes a lot and avoids your eyes when you hold hands yet tries to act all suave when she has her arms around you. It's almost like a shield that she's putting up around her heart. Little does she know that there's no need to for that around you.

"You fit so nicely in my arms sweet stuff, can you give me some more sugar with a kiss? I'm not asking twice. Based on the look on your face I don't have to either. How many? As many as you want. I'll never get tired of them."

Caitlyn will give you all the hugs, kisses and affection that you've been missing. She's been showered with affection while growing up, maybe not the kind that she wanted but she's not touch starved.

Loves to cuddle with you. You don't even have to ask. Whenever you're in the mood for it her arms are open for you. You're pretty sure that she spoils you with affection. There's no setting where she's not comfortable at least holding hands with you.

"Looking at me again darling, do you need something? Are you still shy? There's no need for that, come here, I'll hold you whenever you want me to. Feeling better now? Too bad, I had a few kisses ready for you. But if you don't need them I guess-- mnn! Ah, there's that pretty smile."

Sevika showers you physical affection whenever you ask. Hell sometimes you don't even have to ask, she just pulls you into her lap right there in the bar.

There's no shortage of kisses or touches of any kind. She actually rather appreciates that you don't shy away from her metal hand like some people do, with good reason she sure does pack a punch with it. You don't need to be scared of her ever, the only touches she'll give you are the loving and pleasurable kind.

"What's up with you sugar lips, I thought you liked me touching you. Maybe more when we're alone. I'm gonna be honest with you, it's hard for me to keep my hands off you. You're hot as fuck and well, I can't have people ogling my girl like that. Gotta make it clear to them to stay away."

Grayson is the sweetest person with you. Usually she has to keep up this tougher front for the Enforcers and try her best to be an example.

But when she sees you in the morning she can't do anything but wrap her arms around you, her touch light but her kisses firm and enjoy the way you melt against her. Nor will she get tired of the way you welcome her home and hug her tight, all her tiredness and stress just melting away from the sight of you.

"You have to stop with these ways of welcoming me home sweetheart, otherwise I won't want to go back to work. That's your secret plan I bet. Knew you were up to something. Only took me a few years to figure out what. Yeah, you're incredibly evil. Now that I have it figured out I guess I'll have to handcuff you."

Cassandra really wants to spoil you with lots of physical touches and at the same time she doesn't want to be too much. She'd hate to drive you away because she's overbearing in some way.

If you're the one who initiates the touch or if you kiss her or compliment her then she will return those ten times as strongly. When she's sure that you don't think she's being a bit too much she could hold you all day, or at least until there are things that she needs to attend to.

"Are you sure darling? Hm, very well then, let me scoot over. You're not a bother I was only reading. It's nothing important, not more important then you anyway. I don't have anything that requires me to get up early tomorrow, so we can spend all night like this. Would you like that?"

Mel is touch starved just as much as you but unlike you she doesn't show it. Not for a very long time at least. She'll let you indulge in her touches and signs of affection as much as you want, just don't expect her to be so open about her wanting the same.

Her melting into your touch as you do for hers is a very big sign of trust of her to you. She has no problem with you looping your arm around hers or even having your arm wrapped around her all night long, if you let her do the same to you, in that way she feels like you're being equally as open and vulnerable with each other.

"Don't look at me like that darling. Like what? Like I'll vanish before your very eyes. Haven't I made my intentions with you clear? There is no one more important to me then you. I can't remember the last time I've let someone hold me like this, or held someone like I hold you."

Ambessa might be too touchy. Maybe just a little. The woman will swoop you up in a bone crushing hug and a breathtaking kiss whenever she sees you, no matter who's around to witness it.

She's not embarrassed of showing you off, or showing off her affection for you, not when she knows how much you want and love it. But she does understand if you're not one for public affection. No matter, even if it's just when you're alone she makes sure let you know how loved and cherishes you are.

"Sit over here sweetheart. Right next to me. I missed you this week. Missed me too huh? I can tell. Don't worry I know of a few ways to make up for lost time. Your adorable shy laugh never gets old. IMMA CHEAT! Gives in cheat card that says one cheat per day

So, first off! Imma go with Vi. Its who I came to write with you at first when we first meet, and holy shit I haven't looked back for one second. I absolutely love getting to write with your Vi, how we did into who she is since the beginning. I've gotten to see you literally fly off in a jet with her, crafting her sass, her sarcasm, her brutal nature, all of it! I think one of my favorite things I've seen her is your epiphany that she is practically a chem-baroness in Stillwater which continues into Zaun and how Caitlyn is her unofficial deputy. I also love how you've taken so much with her and just created a beautiful, unique, dark version of Vi that is still a "good person" but filled with demons and struggles of her own!

I literally am amazed at how well Caitlyn and vi work together too, like her portrayal of yours works SO WELL with Caitlyn. they are both vastaya, both struggling with situations that are similar, they lean on each other. They are literally the bridge between the two worlds Caitlyn born in Piltover how embraces actions as a Zaunites, Vi who is a Zaunite who embraces the life as in Piltover. They are just two halves of a whole.

Her character and portrayal are so on point and you are my ultimate inspiration for me writing a Vi as well cause without you, I would have never tried and you encourage me so much just as I have encouraged you. I will never not love your Vi, I always want to write with her and enjoy your story with her!

AND THEN! drum rolls

Jinx!!! How can I not mention Jinx. She's so crucial in the development of my Caitlyn, same as Vi, and they are brilliant foils! like goddamn the whole 'she's replacing me' and we literally just kept tacking on more and more of how jinx sees her as a replacement.

But besides our interactions, I am absolutely in love with your darker version as well. For me, it FEELS like Jinx. Not the league version of this playful, silly, dumb blond feeling lunatic that just doesn't shit for giggles. While Your Jinx includes these little things like her playfulness and all, there is still this air of danger. And not just danger.

Intelligent Danger.

Your Jinx KNOWS How to scare people, she knows the power she holds. and she makes sure that everyone else knows it too. And just the depth of her instability and how it influences this intelligence danger too. Jinx isn't just some psychopath going about doing things cause she can; despite her instability it has a reason, a driven purpose, and she is literally Silco's legacy of monstrosity. But I still love how despite all of this, she isn't blanket "only chaos". There is her love for silco, her family unit, her strengths and qualities that bring about more to her! Like ssshit, I love how I can literally have this heart breaking for her despite her being an antagonist (same with Silco but we won't go there cause 2 is my limit XD). But just, omfg!

And I love our tragedy between the sisters. The two who want to help the other, but they cannot accept who they are now, they won't. And just this Greek tragedy design between the two that no matter what ,their story will be tragic and heartbreaking.

But seriously, I could talk about Vi and Jinx all day long but this is getting long and its going to be a text wall in a half on the dash.

I don't mind you talking about both Vi and Jinx because like you just stated, they played such a fundamental and deep role in shaping your Caitlyn. And to be honest, they are a bit of a packaged deal. If the writing goes well with one of them, there is a big chance that eventually, the other one shows up too.

I will never get tired of saying this but without you, Vi would not be who she is right now. Thank you for giving her a chance and most of all, thank you for showing such patience and enthusiasm as I slowly worked out the kinks concerning Vi. Without you and your interest in engaging with her on so many levels, I don't think Vi would have ever made the jump from secondary to primary muse. And I don't think she would have done it as quickly either.

I agree: For me realising Vi is the Chem-Baroness of Stillwater was such a huge moment, especially because I don't think anybody has ever done that concept before. Most people if they write darker Vi, lean more into her brutality and how dangerous Vander used to be. Meanwhile, I feel like my Chem-Baron girl basically took Vander's negotiation ability and twisted it up a bit. Maybe she even took some cues from Silco; though I bet she'd kill me if I ever insinuated this out loud.

To be honest, I do not think I had even planned for Vi to become this dark a character. What is even more impressive, is that despite her violence and dark twists, I can still say with confidence that she is the protagonist and deep down is a good person. I am so glad and happy, that you adore how dark and unique my version of Vi is.

I too will never get over how well they work together. It is honestly insane and borders a bit of a miracle. To be honest, from an outside perspective, you would think, Vi and Caitlyn came from the same writer. That is how much in sync they are and how similar they are in backstory and struggles. I think we had a very deep understanding of what both of us were going for and on top of that, we had an incredibly good read on the bond, we were trying to craft here. Furthermore, I think there is also a massive trust involved with us both. We trust the other's craft and imagination. We trust the other to take the lead once every while. Especially because we know we can always contact the other one if we reach a hiccup in the road.

Honestly, nothing shows that trust more than us starting with Babette's brothel and then out of nowhere jumping forward into post-canon and somehow understanding the dynamic so well that we can write it and you just feel the history behind Caitlyn and Vi. Which again is an insane feat in itself given that back then we had just met each other.

Your love and appreciation of Vi and how I wrote her means the world to me. I am so incredibly happy that you feel her character and portrayal are on point. I am so honoured that I gave you the courage to give Vi herself a try as a writer.

I really love that you were willing to give the Jinx/Caitlyn dynamic the same level of care you gave Vi/Caitlyn. I think we both realised how crucial that second dynamic is for both Caitlyn and Jinx's character. At the same time, we could have just assumed that we do not need to put in the same amount of work, given that it's an antagonistic dynamic. However, I love that we did not settle for mediocrity. I love that even though Jinx's gripe with Caitlyn boils down to "She is replacing me.", we actually really looked at the forms this replacement took and how Jinx's mental instability exasperated it. This resulted in one of the probably most nuanced antagonistic dynamics, I have ever written.

I am so happy and flattered that my Jinx feels like Jinx to you, even though she is much darker in nature. Obviously, compared to League Jinx, she is a lot darker, but I think she even tops Arcane Jinx in darkness to some extent. At the same time, I am glad that you feel I captured some aspects of League Jinx because I still wanted to honour where she came from and who she was originally as a character.

I really like that label of intelligent danger and the notion of Silco's legacy of monstrosity. Because that was what I was going for. I wanted, especially post-canon Jinx to feel like she was Silco's ideology and worldview given flesh. I remember Jason Spisak said in an interview that Jinx for Silco is the spirit of Zaun embodied in a daughter. And I think I took that and tried to push it to its most extreme conclusion. So, Jinx is not just embodying the spirit of Zaun. She embodies the monsters, which call this town their home.

And I love how this translated into an extremely dangerous individual. Like you said, Jinx knows how to scare people. She knows how dangerous she is and she makes it clear that people are not just aware of her danger, but also aware that she is aware of that fact. I am also really glad that Jinx does not feel like a blanket of "only chaos" and instead has all those nuances about her. It was really important for me that not only did her madness stay internally consistent, but also that she was more than just a mad girl. I also wanted her to be more than just Vi's sister or Silco's daughter. Sure, Jinx highly identifies herself with those two labels, but she also has a lot of traits and interests, which have nothing to do with either of those things. And I feel like those interests and traits are where Powder/Jinx the individual in a way shines through the most.

I agree. It honestly is what makes the dynamic between the sisters so special. They want to be sisters again, they want to be there for each other, but at the same time, not only can they not accept who the other one is now, but they also cannot give up who they are now. They have changed so much that they cannot go back anymore.

I never get tired of you spazzing over Jinx and Vi. You shouldn't have regrets concerning that wall of text. It is so wonderful to read. I love you too, friend. Keep being amazing.

i’d love to know where you feel caitlyn’s kindness comes from and how she was able to keep it when being raised in a place like Piltover. 😘

Okay, so I usually answer these with Caitlyn but this one seems more like a meta of my view of how I write her so ^_^

Caitlyn's kindness stems naturally from herself. The wild thing is, Caitlyn could have grown up to be like any other Piltovan child. Many I don't doubt are arrogant, pretentious, and believe they are better due to position/status/money, etc… I mean, we see that in the way Salo and Hoskel carry themselves, and even Cassandra shows traits of such things like the way she calls Vi "A stray" like she also, too, has an air of arrogance that she is better then certain people.

So Caitlyn could have grown up to reflect a lot of these terrible traits that Piltover cultivates and encourages in the position between lower and high house and in turn the major imbalance of power between Piltover and Zaun.

However, I like to think a lot of Caitlyn's development stems from Grayson. Even that brief scene we see form Grayson has Grayson quietly pushing Caitlyn in certain morality views. She never tells Caitlyn what to think, but she gives her morality questions.

"Begs to question, young Kiramman, what are you shooting for,"

So in my canon, Grayson wasn't just there for that shooting competition, Grayson is a close friend of the Kiramman household so I have it that Grayson is Caitlyn's godmother. She is far more involved in Caitlyn's life then her own mother at times. Grayson is the one who taught Caitlyn humility and how to respect people. Just because she is of high household, does not give her a right to treat other people poorly. Grayson lead her carefully, providing morality questions to allow Caitlyn to grow in her own choices and believes.

"Do you believe your position provides you a standard to live by, or a standard to help others?" "Little Lamb, look out there. What do you see? Look at the people, watch them. What can you notice?" "Caitlyn, sometimes its not enough to see. You have to listen. Are your ears open?"

Grayson is always seeking to cultivate in Caitlyn someone who looks out for people, to see them not as money, tools, or people who are to be controlled. She wants her to empathize with people, to see their struggles and their joys. She also was trying to ensure that Caitlyn watched out not just for people but herself. Keeping her eyes open and to see things that everyone else misses.

She encouraged kindness and empathy because without those, Caitlyn could not possible help people she wanted to. Grayson I think saw a part of herself in Caitlyn. That drive, that ingeniuty, and that want to serve and protect. Grayson wasn't shaping her to be an enforcer, she was trying to guide her in the means of being a protector. without kindness and empathy, Caitlyn would grow bitter and cold and become part of the corruption that Piltover often revolves around in.

Now pass that to her adult years.

Caitlyn has always deemed herself a misfit. She doesn't fit in with the other kids and adults, not just because of her empathy but because she isn't a manipulative deceiver who is looking to get more for herself. So Caitlyn, often times, while she couldn't help like she wanted to at first, would often be kind to those who needed it. A small child that might have been crying at a festival, or an elderly woman who needed help that everyone else ignored. She kept her eyes open to those who needed reassurance, or even a small moment to be seen and heard. Caitlyn understands invisibility far more then anyone else, she doesn't feel visible to most people so if she sees someone who needs a bit of kindness, she gives it. these simple but small acts provide Caitlyn a view of someone who smiles back, says thank you, or just looks as if their day was made.

"One simple act of kindness sends a ripple effect across time,"

To see how her Kindness impacts people, even as simple as just touching their shoulder and giving them assistance in some way, shows Caitlyn that Grayson was right. Sometimes the best thing she can do is give someone a smile and show them that she sees them and is there to help.

So despite the harshness of Piltover and their corrupted standards and even the violence in Zaun; Caitlyn learns to look for the light in the dark. She looks for the beauty in the dim light. She watches people and sees what's going on, and even Zaun has beauty within the alleys and bloody roads. She keeps my mind open and finds what many others might blinded to.

She holds onto these things, often leaning on a lot of Grayson's teachings because they really shaped how she views the world and how she's developed her own way of thinking.

Kindness is not a weakness. empathy, in Caitlyn's eyes, is her greatest strength.
