acci - this one really sweet girl who was on my school trip thingy last year and we had to fly there by plane so i was really nervous.. she sat next to me on the second and she was sooo nice the airplane was divided into like. different sections for some reason and our row was the first one after one of these sections and at first i thought it didnt have a tray so i was like kinda sad but when i sat down she was like “we got the best seats!!” and i was like “we did?” and she was like yeah theres so much leg room!!! and there was and it turns out there were trays they were jjst in the chair for some reason.. she was such a sweetheart later in the flight it was at night so she was like “look out the window!” and the city lights looked so pretty and she asked me to take a picture on her phone for her.. she was so nice i hope shes doing okay i never got her name :( or maybe i just forgot

ves - MY FRIEND DYLAN HES SO COOL we met over the summer for like asb/leadership/wjatever you wanna call it stuff and he was so nice it was lik e my first time at the school so he gave me a tour and everything and he said he loved my outfit and also that he thought my name was pretty.. we wave to each other in the halls a lot!!! ALSO hes in the show thing with me (as an understudy WHICH. IN MY OPINION THEY SHOULDVE GOTTEN CASTED... HES SUCH A GOOD ACTOR BUT ANYWAY) and hes jjst really nice he tells me about like all the theater or school stuff i dont know.. he offered to buy me boba one time (I TURNED IT DOWN BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT HIM TO WASTEHIS MONEY ON ME and also i hadnt ever tried boba at the time so..) and he was one of the people with me at the boba place today he wqs so nice

kid - ONE OF MY LIKE CLASSMATES/MAYBE FRIENDS HER NAME IS MYAN shes super sweet and also she has the coolest earrings.. WE MET VERY RECENTLY but shes soo nice and also she always compliments my outfits and slso sometimes she rants to me about like math class or something because the teacher goes so fast for no reason... also she told me my outfit slayed today ANYWAY shes so funny AND ALSO REALLY SMART AND I CANT WAIT TO TALK TOHER MORE AND MAYBE HOPEFULLY BECOME FRIENDS IF WE ARENT ALREADY.....

archer - THE GIRL THAT SITS ACROSS FROM ME IN MATH CLASS i’m not sure if her name is anna or yuanyuan because i think she goes by both ? anyway SHES SO FUNNY HASHJNDASFJNSDF shes a little bit siriuscore.. shes really quiet but she always checks her answers with me or asks me for help like every single day it amkes me so happy because she seems pretty quiet and i am slowly manipulating her to become my friend /j (IWOULD NEVER DO THAT) also she stares at people a lot whenever she looks at me i try to smile at her and recently she started smiling back :)

reaper - SOMEONE IN MY ASB CLASS their name is mandy and theyre really quiet but i can tell theyre super sweet !! THEYRE REALLY AWKWARD SOMETIMES i remember the first time we met was in the asb thing over the summer and the teacher/leader ?? of asb made us do icebreaker things and also we had to have nametags with like some information about us and i remember i had nonbinary on mine and i think literally the first interaction we had was them staring at my nametag for a long 10 seconds and then saying “nonbinary huh? i am too” IT WQS KINDA FUNNY anyways later on we were talking about like designing shirts for it because idk school merchandise.. and the teacher told us to maybe have like notes or something about what we could put on the shirts. AND MANDY WAS THE ONLY PERSON THAT DID IT AND THEYRE SOO TALENTED AT GRAPHIC DESIGN??? THEY DESIGNED A FRONT AND A BACK AND THEY HAD LIKE EXAMPLES OF STUFF WE COULD DO AND IT WAS SO COOL THEYRE GENUINELY SO GOOD AT ART but we couldnt use them because they were too detailed or some stupid shit idk.. ANYWAY we dont really like actually talk that much but i always wave at them when i see them and i remember one time i waved at them and they were kinda looking at their phone and then they looked up and looked like really surprised that iwas waving to them and kinda awkwardly moved their hand and i feel like thats so reapercore.....

The sound design is real music, but like, cool and edgy music young demographics will love!

The Guy in the Chair best friend who's a little different and not a conventionally attractive actor (point to DC Fawcett Comics! for having it written that way) knows about superheroes since they already exist in the X Cinematic Universe

Are we sure the child who is awkward and unpopular in school can keep the secret? Yeah we’ll probably be fine 👀👀👀

Much older, balder villain motivated by The Rich (but like, vibe)

Also, the villain is driven by the prologue that happened in enough time to let the kid one grow most of the way up and the grown up one not age visibly at all

But they're cool, so cool that the villains that you won't know unless you already know this character's lore (very deeply in the case of Mister Mind) who also happen to be poisonous-arthropod-themed visit them in prison to have a little villain powwow in the after credits

I suddenly remembered that all I need to do to win this Bossfight is remember the short and memorable phrase that was told to me by an older, wiser superhero earlier

Turn this fight around with the power of finally catching a punch since in all reality I'm much stronger than you

The Act 3 fight happens at a fairground for some reason

Bill it as a comedy and an action movie to trick mom into coming to see it

And it all works out in the end even though we didn’t really resolve the family being concerned about our young hero as their superhero problems show through in their school work and attendance until the denoument, or later

Quirky, but loudly branded references to the more important and expensive superheroes by literally featuring the toys of former team-up movies onscreen

And as a result of allllll that, the credits are hand-drawn animations of superheroes fighting. How quaint.

I mean, I know most if not all of these movies’ plots are the same, and that I’m probably gonna like them anyway (especially if DC keeps getting better, in my personal opinion), but this seems a wee bit closer than most. Right?

that’s his initial reaction when the staff told him

in the long run while filming the actual drama, he would be very professional at keeping his feelings at bay, but he would be very flustered at first when finding out about the news

he’d look at the script,, rub his eyes and smack his head a few times,, look at the script again,, realize this isn’t a dream

“oh o-okay” he’d say, still shocked about the entire situation.

the members would definitely tease him the entire time

would scream a few times while looking over at the script, realizing he had to do with YOU— cuddle you, hug you, KISS you ???

cant help but get giddy when reading the scenes you two have together

“ohohoho, really? cool” he’d say, but you can tell from his eye smile that he’s elated about it

he’s honestly been waiting for the moment you two interact because let’s be honest, he’d be the one making YOU flustered

already has a few tricks up his sleeve to make you fall for him

he’d also be very boisterous about it to his members— bragging about how he gets to act alongside HIS crush

he would definitely be a bit alarmed when going over the script though

he would act like hyunsuk but a bit less flustered

he would constantly hype himself up when practicing acting the scenes going “cmon youre THE park jihoon you got this” but he knows very well on the inside that he’s kind of nervous because he doesn’t want to mess up in front of you

he wouldn’t know how to react at first

he’d just muster out a tiny “okay” while holding the script with shaky hands

i feel like in general he’d be very collected about it but on the inside he would be all “?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!”

he would also be a bit afraid on messing up because not only does he have a crush on you but he genuinely sees you as an admirable figure with how amazing you act

so he would definitely be a bit bewildered at first that HE was the one chosen as the lead with YOU

he feels like he wouldn’t be up for the job at first because he’s just a sweet humble boy :((

but after realizing that it’s him who was chosen, he would work his butt off, constantly practicing every night to perfect every minute detail

he just wants to leave a good impression on you tbh (and he does !!)

in all honesty though i think he’d be a bit like yoshi at first, thinking he wouldn’t be good enough (like in the behind the scenes of the tmap webdrama)

but he just uses that as a way to work harder so he does amazing (which he does in the end !!)

to sum it up hes honestly just really happy :(( and he wants to impress everyone and you especially as an idol because yk the reputation idol actors have ,,

he wouldn’t show any reaction at first, but you can tell from the dimple from his smile that he’s really happy

“alright” he’d simply say and then look at the script with sparkly eyes

he’s definitely made a few (probably a lot) songs with the thought of you so imagine the bangers he’d make now

he would be so inspired that night, writing lyrics for a new song as he reads the script

but the members would be very confused because ??? it doesn’t look like he cares that much lol

but he definitely DOES

the members would tease him and he would put on a blank face but in the inside his heart would be beating out of his chest

he’d put his feelings aside though, working really hard and getting advice because well,, he doesn’t want to screw up or mess up and he really does want to give a good impression on you

he would also watch all the movies, shows and behind the scenes videos you’re in just to get the gist of how you act and how to act (and he just loves looking at you but we’ll ignore that)

he’d honestly just work so hard rereading the script over and over because he doesn’t want to let you or anyone down ><

ok so we all know that doyoung has been wanting to go into acting (and he’s very good at it from the looks of the tmap webdrama)

so tbh,,, he would be more happy at first that he got an acting gig like he would literally jump in joy

and honestly just the thought of your presence being there makes him 1000x more motivated and he would practice any chance he gets— his dorm members getting tired of hearing the same lines over and over at the dinner table

he’s just so enthusiastic about the entire situation because he genuinely thinks this is the most perfect opportunity that could ever come to him

he honestly thought he heard wrong at first, asking the staff to repeat the name again

so when he realized he heard it well and clear he was,,, just,,

but tbh though i think he would be the type to put his feelings aside and focus more on how to become a better actor (in general i think most if not all would be like this but haruto would be more if that makes sense ??)

like wow ,, you’re so cool !! amazing actor !! and you’re so lovely !! like he’s seen basically everything you’re in so yes has developed a bit of endearment to you

but he would rather just simply use that as a motivation to work harder because you’re an amazing actor and he can’t mess this up especially if he wants to do more acting in the future

which makes him work so much harder because he does want to be a good figure in acting

and if the shooting goes well then maybe,, just maybe he’ll act upon his feelings

okay, it’s over :)

first thoughts out of the way: not a big fan of this special. it’s like watching a completely different show. it’s not got the PZSHAHH of the normal wizard city stuff and there weren’t a lot of funny jokes or even hearty moments in the thing.

it suffers from a lack of invested character interactions, much like BMO did. there was not a single main cast member in the whole thing! and like i said before, much of peppermint butler’s character in the show is based on his very sweet relationship to his mother, princess bubblegum, so when they showed a single (hilarious) photo of them together it made me sad we didn’t get any scenes with them together. it would have STOLEN this episode. and they teased the hunson golf photo, and death!!! and jake appeared in a photo T_T last jake appearance.

it also suffers because Peppermint Butler is clearly not himself, imo he was way more entertaining in the Together Again special, where we seem him back to his “normal” self.

i dont think peps being a dark wizard was something to “kill off” exactly. i wonder what was going on there? was that actually peps, or was that a spirit he cursed himself with based on himself? we at least know in the future he does become a dark wizard again, and even princess :) this special didn’t answer those questions but lol.

THE GOOD STUFF, because yes, there was a lot of good stuff!

God, I’m with Aracle and Maya on this - I LOVE Cadebra and her relationship to Pep. I wish she was even in more of this - I would love to watch the adventures of Cadebra and Pepbut in their first year of school, like in the end credits.

That, imo, is where the heart of the special lay - Peppermint Butler’s attempts to impress himself, versus Cadebra’s self acceptance and desire to follow her dreams of being a goofy goober, no matter what other people thought of her.

It turned out that Cadebra is a responsible student and family member. I really liked that. Her scenes with Abracadaniel were, somehow, my favourite in the entire special!

I like that theres a lot of cool magic towards the end of this special, and a lot of HORRIFYING DEATH. It wouldn’t be adventure time if you didn’t randomly kill off child characters. Poor Spader, I hated you but damn, what a grim fate.

I like that Bufo and Caledonius had this crush/hatred thing going on, but they were part of the same cult in the end.

I didn’t like the giant peps scene at the end, the monster was extremely milquetoast compared to the madness we usually get in AT. Obsidian, for example, had the awesome Larvo design. Nemesis had some INSANE dark magic!!!! I wish they drew more from that episode.

Considering how much Steve Little appears in this special, I do feel bad for Mace (little Peps). He said he would have really benefitted from coaching, but recieved none. He had to re-record his lines 3 times! Judging from his description of events, Wizard City was a hard time for him.

The wizard school did remind me, heavily, of both The Owl House and OK KO. Personally I was hoping AT would offer me something more insane, but I do love both of those shows, and I know Wizard City was on a really tight schedule.

I think they should have spent less time on the school bullying plot, and skipped straight to MURDER.

We did have a cold opening, not on par with Together Again’s at all, but damn!

I am wondering where I would put this in the watch list? I do think it should sit after Obsidian as the third special. The intro scene makes it clear this takes place at the same time as Obsidian!!!

Well, that was it, the last ep of AT for the next few years at least T_T

i think together again was the better finale, definitely. but wizard city feels pretty detached from AT for me, despite the familiar characters it tonally isn’t like the show other than the awesome brutal death scenes. I thought the last 11 minutes was easily the best in the special! Which, honestly, is how it should be, though I do wish it gripped me more. Maybe I’m just not the target audience for Wizard City? It feels like something I would find very compelling if I was a bit younger!

Part 1: The Actual Intro

Episode 1 = Auction day (AD) Episode 2 = Extinction Party (EP) Episode 3 = Tempation Stairway (TS)

Who is Ena

Ena can b describd as an "abstract girl split in half, w 1 blue side n the other is her yellow side!" Each side (emotion/mood, 2 b specific) seems 2 hav their own voic actor credited along with seper8 credits 4 each mood! So far the canon sides r Ena (happy), Ena (sad), n Ena (drunk)! They seem 2 act accordingly: Happy acts happy n optimistc, Sad acts sad n especlly depressd, n Drunk acts confused n dizzy [In the Credits, it would look like thise: Ena (happy) by Gabe V., Ena (sad) by Lizzie Freeman, (drunk) Ena by Sam Meza

4 Episodes 1-2, thy follow thise pattern exctly! So we cn expect wht 2 see from them, n each voice actor is creditd accordngly as seper8 b all a part of Ena

On epside 3, Ena is seen as actng diffrnt!! She's suddnly less predictabl! I say thise bc Suddenly, her voic Actors r not stuck 2 Only their sides. Thise is also emphasized when looking at the credit list! No longer is it "Ena (happy) by Gabe V., Ena (sad) by Lizzie Freeman" it's now jst "ENA by Gabe V. and Lizzie Freeman"

Happy's voic can sound STRESSED n sad, Happy can tlk w Blue's side in mor control n Sad's voic can sound Really happy n optimistic. Somth's Diffrnt n Not The Same

Temptation Stairway Summary

Skipping 2 my point, The summary of the episode Temptation stairway is tht Moony and Ena have a bet 2 race 2 the Great Runas! The Great Runas, can grnt u any wish accordng 2 Moony n som of those Ena passes by on the wy. The wager, is tht "whoever reaches the top of the Great Runas n makes their wish 1st, has 2 pay the debts of the loser" (yes it’s phrased like that) As Ena journeys thru, The DIFFERENCES between Ena Temptation Stairway and Ena Extinction Party n Below, is mor obvious as the epsde progrsses, even 2 wher Happy's voic actor is the 1 screamng in agony 2 jst get murdered already. The Episode ends w Moony beatng Ena (but it's 100% possibl it can be the other way arnd, that ENA Beat Moony, b thats somth I'll discuss in a bit L8r). Moony splits in half, revealing that according 2 her, "she wished 2 be skinny" n a humanoid coms out of her previous form. As 4 Ena, Her blue side slowly dispprs n its not answrd why.

Theories so far, are:

Moony wished 4 Ena 2 b happy (or 4 her sad/blu side 2 go awy. 4 wht reason can b eithr wholsom or 2 Moony's advntge [like so she "doesnt have 2 deal w Sad Ena"]) - b if Moony wished 4 Ena 2 b happy/b rid of her sad side, tht wld mean perhaps she lied about wishing 2 be skinny (her new humanoid form may be how she is "paying her debt 2 the loser"). Unless the Runas can grant u more than 1 wish.

Ena ws the 1 who wished her blu side awy, whch is a little depressng tbh

If both the above r tru, it may b possibl bc it wsnt clarified (afaik) tht the great runas can only grant ONE person a wish (or more). I think we only get tht implica8ion bc we see 1 (open) door while in the distance, ther r more doors tht look like their eyes r closed. We hav 2 remembr Moony said "whoever makes their wish 1st whch means Ena n Moony can totlly mke wishes @ the sme time

Somhow, turning pure yellow/only happy is how Moony is payng her debt 2 Ena(??) (opposite 2 the 1st theory)

OR If Ena won the race, it can even b possibl 2 consider tht Ena did not make ANY wish, n her debt 2 pay 2 Moony is her sad/blue side removed (I do not subscribe 2 thise)

This info that was brought up 2 me is high evidenc that Moony won the race, n it explains how Moony surprises Ena whn Ena arrives. “I’m The Best and you’re the worst! I wonder who got the hair chest?” said by Ena, is a direct reference 2 a phrase usd by kids when they lose that goes “First is the worst, second is the best, third is the one with the hairy chest.”

Ther hav been theories about Temptation Stairway in the past (before the episode cme out) wher ppl try 2 explain y the trailer Looks Like Tht. Besides theorizing abt the introduction of a new forme (I'm ok w just calling it Scared/Anxiety 4 now until 4rthr notic), 1 of the theories ive seen is tht Temptation Stairway's new introduced forme is due 2 being something akin 2 being "integr8d" (probably by force, accordin 2 the OP) (in other words, all her sides merge in2 one) n Ena being devast8td abt it

While tht theory is now DEBUNKED, bc the new forme clearly did not come out bc of being One Single Mind now, the "integr8ion" part of tht theory is unfortun8ly a littl tru

What is Integr8ion?

Integr8ion is not inherently a bad thing. In systems, ther are 2 definitions: "the breaking down of barriers 2 form healthy multiplicity, n then healthy communic8ion n less amnesiac barriers" and the othr, n mor FAMOUS definition bc its the oldest 1, is "final fusion"

Fnal Fusion is when all the members "fuse/merge" 2gether until ther is 1 single mind left. While not necssrlly a bad thng, final fusion n ther4 "integr8ion" is a scry thing 4 a lot of systems 2 talk abt, because in the history of Treatment, Final fusion is uslly somthng forcd on2 systems 4 the longest time :^(

Very valid 2 hav final fusion as a goal, b showng it as a desire n end goal is uslly seen as a sad n even scry thing 2 promote accdntly or not in media, bc of the previous traumas in the medicl/therapy world of system treatment etc

What's Worse. is tht if we apply the Ending 2 Temptation Stairway to the System!Ena Theory, thts wht hurts!!!

Scrolling back up 2 the possibl theories of who won the race and wht happened aftr, Either Moony or Ena wishing 4 the blue side/Sad Ena 2 go awy is rlly painful!

B I'll be honest, thts a RLLY biased n personal opinion i hav!! I've seen ppl think its rlly wholsom altho a bit Sad, tht the blue side disappears. I've seen ppl think its rlly sweet esp if it was Moony who mde tht wish

BSCLLY If I were to hold on2 the System!Ena headcanon while watchng the Temptation Stairway episode, its Hurtful, not rlly bc of the implied Integr8ion of Sides, but bc most top theories r that the blue side disappeard on Purpose either from Moony or Ena wishing her away or involvng the debt! It's like asking 4 ur sibling irl 2 Disappear and cease 2 exist. it's scary n rlly sad esp whn the audienc can c tht Sad, Happy, n Drunk cn almst b seen as their own persons n mite even b abl 2 interact w each othr (as seen by the many fanart of Happy n Sad having their own seper8 forms)

Ther's no name 4 it, som call it the Enaverse, b just so it dsnt get confusd w other definitions (like, u wldnt call it the Marvel Cinematic Universe theory, the MCU is jst wht it is) I'm gnna call it the Multi-Ena theory! Bsclly, there's mor than 1 Ena in thise universe. But I'll get in2 a sub/partner theory tht is also possibl: ther is mor than 1 enaverse n somhow u may or may not b abl 2 travel between them

Part 3: The Multi-Ena theory

Something interesting I noticed was that the shepherds says “another ENA troublemaker?” Which definitely means more than one ENA/person has been there before.

(I blockd out the rest of the commnt not bc it ws bad, b i wantd 2 focus on this part of the commnt, but thise commnt will come up again L8r)

Not connected 2 System!Ena or the integr8ion issue I mentioned earlier, the multi-ena theory seems 2 b 1 of the top suggstd theories bc of many thngs! Bsclly n in short, thise theory believs tht in the series (or Enaverse), ther is multipl ena's! So fr i havent seen a post tht RLLY went in2 depth on thise so here is my attempt!

Evidence:

In Temptation Stairway, Gabe n Lizzie Freeman r all creditd undr the sme nme, just as "Ena" (mening thise is a completely different Ena from the past)

Again, as said in my summry 4 Tempt8ion Stairway, thise Ena acts compltly diffrnt n is not follwng the sme "pattern" or rules as Ena did in Episodes 1-2! (Read above in my summary section) Either ther r stuff we've missd between Extinction Party n Temptation Stairway, or thise is a diffrnt Ena entirely. I'd hav 2 sy prsnlly tht I'm leanng 2wrds the latter bc of how the VA's are crdtd. but if ur not convinced, let me continu:

When we meet the Shepard in 7:52 of the episode, they say (verbatim) "Arghh... Another ENA trouble maker." which implies there r more than 1 Ena's

9:08 - 9:19 when Ena jumps in2 the "Holy Code" where we head undrwtr in2 a sea of diffrnt doors, we see floating Ena models (n the comment section seems 2 gravit8 2 callng them "dead bodies") (Honorary mention: You'll notic they glitch in2 Mannequins if u pay attention 2 them). This piec of info is Direct Evidence 2 the multi-ena theory, bc ther r Explicitly mor thn 1 ena's on screen! wht's concernng n unanswrd tho, is y do they glitch in2 mannequins? Does tht mean all the mannequins we sw on screen in the begnng of the video (n onwards) were all previously an Ena? Is it only an Ena tht can transform in2 a mannequin or cn othr chrctrs also become mannequins?

Not the strongst evidenc b i'll input it anywy: Ena's Action boxes (Like when she receivs or gives items) spell her nme her as ƎNA (with a backwrds E). The thing abt thise 1 is tht we can't compare it with Auction Day n Extinction Part bc they don't have any action boxes. BUT What we CAN compare is how she is spelled in the dialogue boxes of those speakng in diffrnt languages AND in the Credits! In Episodes 1-2, She's Spelled as Ena with this captialis8ion. In Temptation Stairway the dialogue and credits consitntly spell her as ENA in all caps. May or may not allude 2 her being diffrnt, b i will admit this is the most Strechiest piec of evidnc. Tru or not, I'd like 2 refer 2 Tempt8ion Stairway ena as TS!Ena or ƎNA, prsnlly 2 differenti8 her frm the othr episodes

Pronounci8ion: BUT 2 build on the above evidence, In the beginning of the episode, Moony DOES pronounc Ena's name in different wys a lot, startng w I-NA (ai-na), ENA (ehna), n finally JENA. And this isnt new! She’s been doing it sinc Auction Day (ee-nah/ii-na) n Extinction Party (ay-nah). Thise may or my not sggst that perhaps Moony's inconsistancy is bc these othr pronunci8ions or names cld b of other ena's she's met in the past w similr or diffrnt preferences! I’d say because of her constant switchng in the beginning of Temptation Stairway, it would lean 2wards that she may know different Ena’s @ once. Otherwise, c the Multi-Enaverse theory below

Note: Every othr charctr besides Moony (So far; Merci and the Shepard) Pronounces Ena as ehna (or ehna) so it might be that perhaps Eh-na is the universal way of pronouncng Ena?

Conlusions/thghts on this theory: I prsnlly like thise a lot!! It makes Enasonas Very Possible, b also tht any interpret8ion of Ena cn b corrct or possibl! It knda saddens me tho bc im not rlly sure if we'll ever return 2 the Ena we're used 2, I wldnt rlly want 2 b stuck w/o Sad bc I thnk her role is rlly neat n can b importnt, b im biasd. I also rlly subscribe 2 thise theory bc it means whtvr happend 2 TS!Ena ds not hav 2 be permanent in the long run; Again litrlly the only thng keepng me from gettng supr upset abt the ending of Temptation Stairway, is tht the prev ena’s r not the sme n wld possibly not do thise, or tht ther r othr ena’s out ther besides THISE episod 1, who wld nvr do tht, etc

Part 4: The Multiple Enaverses/Multi-Enaverse Theory AKA The Alternative In Defense of Moony Mispronouncing Ena’s name over and over

An alterntve 2 the Multi-Ena theory, is tht there is MORE thn 1 Enaverse! So bsclly, a multiverse theory. Primarily thise my explain Not jst Ena's sudden Shift in how diffrnt she is in thise episode b may also explain how Diffrnt Moony is actng in thise episode 2. While thise isnt the top theory i prsnlly subscribe 2 (sinc ther isnt explicit evidence besides it bein an explan8ion 4 Moony n Ena's weird/diffrnt behavior), it DOES open a lot of doors 2 intrstng things 2 thnk abt!

Bsclly Moony keeps mispronouncing Ena’s name a lot (in Tempation Stairway) n its Really Rude, esp consdrng she’s always said it properly (As in @ least 1nce in an episode n not switchng multiple times) b4! so 2 Explain her Sudden change in behavior, this is actlly a Different Moony, besides a different Ena. this is a whole different universe/timeline!

LIKE If not multiple Ena's, The different Loca8ions in Ena cn probbly b traversible across dimensions! The Holy Code may b the door 2 diffrnt enaverses. The Shepard's garden cld b an interdimensionl place tht is singular n deals w diffrnt beings passing thru! While i dnt hav mch 2 sy on thise, its RLLY Interestng 2 thnk abt

The Great Runas is actlly a play on the "Run As" Command! I'm not very Smart engh 2 break thise down vry well, b bsclly w all the allusion 2 "codes" n the Blood ID looking like a Chip, The Great Runas being abl 2 grant u wishes makes a lot of sense! This ws brought up 2 me from a friend (@ambercard)!

like its a command line. so then the great runas being able to grant wishes makes sense if its digital world like all the code stuff says Allows a user to run specific tools and programs with different permissions than the user's current logon provides.

The Enaverse is all a computer code of some sort- most probbaly a game! AKA: This is a digital world

... If we were too treat this world as a video game this would make more sense since different play through bus and all that. Oh god this feels like a fnaf situation, taking a video that just wants to be a video and turning it into a big serious thing

Going with the whole ‘there are multiple enas representing the player’ theory, perhaps this ENA realized that she’s in a video game and isn’t taking it too well? But the game is kind of glitching out because of it.

Standout things from this animation:

-This Ena switches between a male & female voice at seemingly random instead Happy speaking with a male voice and Sad speaking with a Sad voice. The text boxes noticeably refer to this Ena with a reversed E, and The Shepard says "Another Ena troublemaker", implying that there are multiple Enas. We also see some Ena corpses flickering into the mannequin bodies at one point. Third, at the end we see Ena's sad half turn from blue to yellow over the course of Ena & Moony's conversation. My personal theory is that this Ena is possibly 'broken' in some manner. -Moony either doesn't care or dosen't realize that Ena's voices aren't matching the personalities anymore. -The grey personality appears to come out when Ena gets too stressed out. Notably the transformation involves the happy half turning into static and exploding out, erasing Ena's face in the process. It also appears that some physical trauma (in this case, Brick Frog kicking Ena) is necessary to exit the grey personality, unlike the previously seen 'blackout' personalities which can possibly be switched by the other personality exerting themselves (in the auction episode, Ena enters her sad blackout/depressed personality, then switches to Happy!Ena, who apologizes to Moony about her depressed outburst). -Moony's hole is capable of closing to hold things, and she also knows how to skateboard. -Judging by Ena's reaction, Moony's transformation at the end is weird even by this universe's standards.

Alright, since I can’t sleep and I’m bored, I’m going to list a few things that I hate about Tony Stark/RDJ, and his “fans”. If youre a Tony/RDJ fan pls ignore this.

Tony Stark made weapons for the military and only stopped because he was nearly killed and no

It wasn’t because he “felt bad” for those that were actually being harmed by the weapons. It was for his personal benefit

He constantly flirts with and messes with women while dating pepper

In the first IM movie, he made a transphobic joke and in an interview for his Sherlock movie, made a joke about cross-dressing

In AOU he made a rape joke, saying that if he ends up ruling Asgard, he’d reinstall pre minocta (or however you spell it)

He made Ultron, and before you start with the whole “B-b-but Wanda mind raped him!”

Firstly, wtf is mind rape? Really? For anyone who says mind rape y’all need therapy—maybe more so than Wanda

Anyways, he made Ultron and in civil war, had the A U D A C I T Y to say “we need to be put in place” as if it was the avenger’s fault that he created Ultron.

And him being the Rich white dude he was, he knew the accords wouldn’t effect him. He could still break the law without any consequences.

So he a brought a 15 year old child into battle with professionals, lied about his age, and didn’t even tell him the full reason of why he was fighting

Also? He thinks? Him and Steve? Were friends? Last I checked, they couldn’t stand each other, and had a hard time working together

So when he says “I wAs YoUr FrIeNd ToO” uh no. He’s known Bucky for 100 actual years. You guys have known each other for like 2, with 6 month breaks from working together

Homecoming, he completely neglects Peter and passes him off to happy, who ignores him as well

“Surprise Hazbin Q&A”

Ok, so I listened to +5 hours live stream and oh boy, that was a lot of information. That’s why I decided to divide the list in two parts, the other part I hope to post it around the 6th of January. Btw, there were some moments where viv and the crew gave some advices about different topics and I know there is a lot of people here who want to become animators/artists/story tellers, etc so I put the exact time when viv start talking so you can hear them.

- Do the main characters had crappy lives when they were human? That’s spoilers

- Alastor and Angel Dust are the hardest to write for vivziepop because she doesn’t know all the details of the period of time where they come from and because they are based in some complex emotions she has had in her life. She finds this ironic because those two are part of the first characters she created and her two favorites.

- Husk is the easiest to write because he doesn’t care about anything and he is very grumpy. So his reactions to anything are pretty much the same.

- Vivzie likes when Hazbin helps to inspire people to create their own stories, characters and/or universes.

- Can the demons possess a human being? Viv cant answer that yet, but she is thinking in doing a story about how the human world works in the Hazbin universe. Is not in the works, is just an idea in construction she plans to do in the future.

- Vivzie has already planned how heaven looks like and its hierarchy.

- Hazbin’s hell is a mix of different religions and mythologies.

- Believe it or not, Hazbin’s hell is a punishment. It probably doesn’t look like that because there is no flames or constant torture like the typical hell but the continuous chaos of the cities and the fact that the demons can suffer a lot from that chaos is the punishment they have to stand for eternity.

- Charlie is the hope of hell, literally, because she is the only one who sees the good in sinners

- “Reality is gonna hit all the characters at certain point”

- 53:35 for people interested in voice casting for future projects

- 1:08:55 info about what tools viv and the crew use for animation

- “The way demons look like is the reflection of their souls”. That’s why every sinner has a different design because every being has a different soul. Still, vivzie wanted to draw the classic demon design of red color withd big horns, so that’s why Helluva Boss’ characters look like that.

- The origins of the eggbois is a joke viv wants to explore in the future

- Everything related to Charlie’s family is spoilers and cant be answer

- Episode 2 will start the main conflict of the story. The pilot was just an introduction of the characters.

- The idea for future episodes is to be as long as the pilot (30 min) but Viv is still figuring that out

- Angel hates his feet and that’s why he always hide them with big boots (here is a pic of what I think are his canon feet).

- Demons born in hell don’t look human at all and have their own species (like Stolas and his family, who seem to be the same kind of “bird-demon” species). Sinners at the contrary are mostly different because of “their appearance reflecting their soul”

- 1:26:10 if you are interested in art school and some advice about college

- Alastor’s mic is an extension of himself but Viv says that it can also be open to interpretation.

- 1:45:00 advice at how to write a story

- Most of the voice records for Hazbin was in home studios, which according to vivzie, is perfect for independed projects, especially when the cast live in different cities.

- The voice recording for Helluva was different because vivzie got a big studio where all the actors recorded the voice audio at the same time and it was special because they got the opportunity to interact which each other.

- Angel’s creation was full of emotions because he helped vivzie going through a toxic relationship.

- Alastor is very appreciated by vivzie too because he was created while she was in middle school

- When a sinner dies in hell they disappear out of existence, forever. But the “dark energy” sinners are made of pass to be part of the pure fabric of hell, that’s why some objects are “alive”, because those have part of that evil energy coming from exterminated sinners.

- There is a part of hell called wonderland where there a lot of crazy creatures and is really dangerous

- For every new content of the comic there will be a new questions to answer.

- After Angels comic there will be another one about the daily life of alastor, but it would be shorter, about 10 pages long

- Sir pen can hypnotize people with the eyes of his hood. He relays on his machines and minions to fight but if someone got really close to him, (he doesn’t like to be touched) he would use other abilities like hypnosis.

- Vivzie confirmed what fans talked some time ago. Alastor doesn’t respect the personal space of others, but he ironically hates to be touched.

- Vivzie would like to do a Hazbin’s holiday special, either a chirstmas or a hallowen special.

- When the sinners celebrate Christmas, instead of santa, is krampus the one who they like to talk about and want him to visit their houses.

i have way more ships than these! as you can tell, i’m a mega multi shipper. i basically see potential in almost every (appropriate) pairing!

IMPORTANT

there is a problem with the rainbow high franchise. there is a serious issue with diversity (well, lack of diversity) in the doll line and it needs to be stopped. with diverse mga doll lines like bratz and lol surprise, why cant rainbow high be the same?

the racial issues can be seen in the whitewashing through the official artwork, the repeated eurocentric features, and most recently the new rainbow high merch

thankfully, the rainbow high web series seems to be doing its best with handling diversity. the very lovely casting director, Jenny Yokobori, is very cautious when casting actors and actresses for the characters of colour. she makes sure to have a diverse cast for the characters. the animators have also been giving the characters of colours their respective skin tones, unlike the official artwork.

another issue within the fandom (and doll lines in general) is sexualization. notorious artists like m/ntystr/p in the fandom have been known to not only whitewash these teenage girls but also put them in highly suggestive poses and outfits. they go so far as to add inappropriate commentary on their posts and in their hashtags. instances like these need to be stopped at once. listen to others when they say why and how this is wrong. spread the word to help avoid accidentally/unknowingly supporting people like this. stop the whitewashing and stop the sexualization.

main 6 having to keep their relationship with mc a secret (portia, muriel, lucio under the cut!)

asra

as you know, asra is all about affection so a secret relationship for him is like ... near impossible

but he's also good at lying smoothly and since he is all about affection, you two can probably play it off as just having really touchy friendship

he doesn't mind keeping it secret if it's for necessity and he’s fine with that but he just has to consciously hold back on his love and touch which… is so much harder than he expected and he knows just how hard that was during the three years you didn't have your memories

Asra does find himself slipping from time to time, whether it’s a kiss on the cheek as you split up in the market or a hand lingering too long on your body or a gaze that is just a little bit too intense and loving for just friends but when that happens, you know it’s time to go home before he combusts from not being able to properly love you

when the time comes that you two can reveal it to others, don't even bother announcing it--affection is just multiplied exponentially and people can just see it but if they do ask "oh are u two together now???" asra just beams happily with a soft smile on his face as he looks at you when you nod

it pains her to have to hold back but she's a countess so she knows allll about having to not do things for reasons and holding back her true feelings

when you're alone she makes sure to lather you in as much love as you want because she's making up for the lost opportunities and chances

if someone points out the rumours about you two, it physically pains her to refuse it, especially if she has to put on a little more emotion into the refusal. she'd rather just leave it at a simple ambiguous answer that leans more towards "no" but isn't flat out refusing your relationship because to her, in that sense, it’s still acknowledging your relationship

But in the end, nadia is the countess so even if people suspect, it's not like they can outright accuse her of anything anyway but at the same time she does what she has to to put your mind at ease and if that means denying the rumours then so be it

For the time being, shes glad that she can show her love with you as much as she can in private but be prepared for the future because she’s definitely making up for lost time as soon as she can

this rowdy boy’s a dramatic actor so if you two are caught in any sort of scene he can probably dramatise you two out of it

but people close to him can see right through his bull ngl

He tries to rile you up in public just to torment you but as long as you’re Strong you can deal with it. Especially if you give him a glare and a look that just screams “you’ll regret this later”

julian does blush and stammer a lot if you make advances on him so try to keep the secret flirting on the low down because he can probably work his way out of getting caught kissing you but he can’t work his way out of blushing 200 reds without fumbling because you gave him a Look and he can’t stop thinking about it

he probably views the relationship as something really dramatic and painful like "forbidden love" so he is all about making up for lost chances in private and is low-key so conflicted because on the one hand, though he may not admit it, the secrecy appeals to his love of drama but on the other hand he would love to just be able to treat you as his partner all the time

Portia’s good at keeping it secret if it’s serious and she’s doubly good at figuring out if people suspect anything about you two because she’s good at gathering info like that

It’s quite easy for her because you two just have to go to her cottage and you’re both going to be pretty much undisturbed for a while and she knows most if not all the secret passageways so she can get to you whenever she wants anyway so it’s not a problem whatsoever of course

But damn it she just wishes she could hold hands with you and kiss you and hug you and tease and flirt with you anytime anywhere all the time everywhere because she loves you so much anD SHE WANTS TO SCREAM IT TO THE WORLD ALREADY (her heart hunter interactions say as much)

So really, at first all is well

But as time progresses, she’ll become so much more affectionate with you when she can be and there’s a few pouts and frowns whenever she sees other couples

Be prepared for her to announce her relationship with you to the world from atop the fountains or something when you two can reveal it

Literally the easiest thing because a) the spell and b) he doesn’t want to go out in public anyway

But in the event you have to keep your relationship super secret and that includes from asra (who would be the only person muriel tells about you two), that’s going to be a bit harder

A lot harder because as soon as asra sees you two hanging out together he can pretty much instantly tell - muriel doesn’t just warm up to anyone aka give eggs to anyone and if you show even a hint of affection for him, he’s blushing already

But really, it is still the easiest thing if you just add c) avoid asra when you’re together or keep interaction between you two limited when with asra

Of course muriel just has to not react at all when asra talks about you to him because asra’s been suspecting for a bit just what or who it was making his friend so happy and if mountain man shows even a hint of affection for you, the magician Knows

Ok in conclusion it’s the easiest thing to hide it from everyone but asra

Yeah no it’s not gonna work sorry

But let’s say you both try

Pesters you everyday if he can reveal it already

Oh he gets frustrated if someone flirts with you because he needs! to! step! in!! But he cant!!! And even though you’re perfectly capable of shutting the other person down, he’s in agony - he loooves showing off to people that you two are together, or, he would if you didn’t have to keep it secret

But he gets pouty and whiny and clingy afterwards so that’s a plus, or not depending on how you see it but it’s a plus

Would definitely try to rile you up in public to see you get flustered but it’s not too suspicious because everyone pretty much chalks it up to lucio being lucio and as long as you keep publicly refusing him, the rumours end at lucio trying to get with you and failing

But stars help you if lucio overhears those rumours - the ‘failing’ part gets to him and he is so offended. Those servants don’t know just how much he isn’t failing thank you very much

THE KING: ETERNAL MONARCH EP 4, My Appreciation and How It Made Me Feel

Gon now realize his destiny. You know when people have insecurities here and there he will be someone who is overthinking and think of the worst future first. He finally have the courage to come to Cheonjongo after a long time and takes the swords, however the swords has much more deeper meaning, as said by his father “The sky betows the heart upon us, and the ground helps the spirit. The sun and the moon are formed. As the mountains and streams form, lighting strikes. A sage is moved to defeat the evil of the mountains and streams, wield it with deep thoughts and make things right” Only the King can become the owner of it as its his destiny to use it right and fight evil as is supposed to. It is a very meaningful scene, Gon’s taking the swords, his memories with his father, and him actually keeping the swords near him and he is now understand his destiny. 1 more thing, i love how they made past scene screen was smaller than the present. Makes us realize that this is past. Not important, but i just loved the detail

Time stopped. What.a.great.cinematography.

Many people said they confused because they cant find clues or clear description whether now we are in Corea or Korea now. That is weird. They are obvious. Gon is back to Corea everyone can see it. we saw Lee Rim in book store means he is in Corea, then he realize that the time stopped indicates the nephew going back and forth the portal, now Lee Rim is in Korea because time stopped in Gon’s place and he gave his sidekick doppelgänger a book about the rare mineral, which is not exist in Korea. I actually really appreciate this subtle clues, make this show fun to watch. AND NOT CONFUSING AT ALL! Damn you haters.

Here we also get sight of Gon’s mom doppelgänger, i seriuosly thinking the reason why Lee Rim kept his mother not only to use her againts Gon but because Lee Rim actually love her in Corea. Which is the wife of his brother. Then he comes to his photo station, as all the evil which is creepy here we also see it creepiness. I love how they show us this scene and Prince Buyeong face, its kind of makes me think Prince Buyeong will somehow go againts Gon and lied. Im scared ! I love him a lot

Back to JTE who doesnt understand what was something beautiful that Gon’s saw before at the park. I love how they make the transition of JTE step back to see wider on what he might saw that time and Gon feet that move forward to take closer look to JTE. Beautiful.

The the scars shows up again on Gon’s shoulder, which is still a mystery for us. But he use it to run away 😅 the mystery continues with the result of Lee Sang Do’s 2G phone. Inside it there is only news, a strange one.

And its finally November 11, the date in JTE new id match the id that Gon keep for 25 years. What is it means? There are a lot of questions but the fact that finally they see each other again was so satisfying yet sad. There are still some distance between them eventough they are facing each other. I kind of feels that they are holding back. Because Gon’s insecurity of she might not waiting for him, and JTE trust issues. Seriuosly i want to shake both actors by the hands, they are seriously good at acting it. It doesn’t felt awkward, its very natural. This part of the series was pretty intense because of the ID and Gon’s actually asking JTE to come to his world to see the ID he is keeping by herself. And for her to follow this stranger to somewhere, nowhere, actually told us she actually kind of take him seriously now. And she definitely developed feelings for him during his absence. So im not buying it when people calling her gold digger. She is not.

The last part remains masterpiece, JTE leap of faith to follow Gon, and finally arriving Corea. Which i already waiting this to happen since the very beginning. And this exact line and him whisper on her ear “See? I am right, wasnt i?” And her looking back to see him “I am the King of the Kingdom of Corea, my name, which you cannot say is, Lee Gon” excuse me, this scene was everything, the words, the music, the circumstances, everything was great. The best episodes so far. And it keeps me frustrated waiting for next week to come quickly

How it made me feel:

Damn, what an episode! What a gloomy one i might said. Thanks to Jangmi and Jo Yeong for at least makes a bit of light to this. I loved this episodes. Many revelation but also many new homework for us viewers. I fell in love deeper with each character especially the leads. I love how it was a solid episode, and a very important one for the story development. What i really love here was they let us to see Gon’s and JTE daily activity (although i prefer they use the Lee Sang Do case than just to catch a thief). Because there we can realize how fond they are to each other. And i love we also could see Gon’s interaction with his family, how Lady Noh scolded him like a mom, how he have a chit chat with the uncle who like a father (eventhough it ended a bit serious), how he felt convenient around Jo Yeong who is like a brother, and also secretary Mo. I appreciate his inner circle, they are what made him a well grown orphan. And i can see why. I also love how we were shown in this episode a burden carried by both close people in Gon and JTE side, Prince Buyeong and KSJ. Which i appreciate because it made me think of the potential of them being in the opposite side. Which add tense to my curiosity. Kudos!

@keysstylus alright, sorry in advance that this isn’t that much, it’s what I found in an hour. I could find more but I’d have to go through a lot of posts, since some were instagram stories that I cant search for anymore. And keep in mind this is only recent stuff and stuff you can find easily, there’s lots of things like this. Maybe I’ll search more today, but you can also ask around, there’s lots of instances where they post a bee emoji or tease the bees before a volume/episode.

But aight. You see this? It was a popular post, do you know why it happens? It’s not just crazy fans taking things out of context. Surely some of those are a reach but people in this fandom reach for a reason. I’m pretty sure the heart is from one of Arryn’s insta story. One reply or tweet on its own doesn’t hurt. But when they keep adding bees into it you just can’t help but ‘piece things together’.

Gonna put this one under a read more cause it’s lengthy.

This is to show that they know what the bee means and use it when they refer to the ship. I think this was for chapter 12 when they reunited. When she does this or she retweets fanart that’s alright. And imo sometimes Arryn can do it unintentionally, but not all the time.

And here’s an example of how people will predict and theorize just off a tweet of theirs. Sometimes they do things like this where they accidentaly reveal that something will happen during the volume. But you never know when, what and if it will happen. Just like the picture I’m gonna discuss next. But now it happened, our theories came true, Blake did scream after Yang. And this gives you hope that next time they tweet about the bees it must be true and the bees will become canon, but they dont.

Here’s another example on how big of an influence they have on the rwby fandom, and why this harms the fandom. Before v7 aired Arryn tweeted this, fans had theories about all kinds of crazy stuff including an Atlas Ball. We all knew it was just that: a theory, but when Arryn posted this we all thought there would be some dancing this volume, and everyone was crazy about the Atlas Ball, and then disappointed it didn’t happen. But that’s the thing, we got NO hints whatsoever in show that it would happen, it was a theory and ALL fandoms have those, but when someone directly working for the show fuels into it it becomes a bit more than a theory. And once it doesn’t happen it disappoints you. Not only did we not get an Atlas Ball, but also the Yang and Blake party scene with FNKI.

Teasing the ship. It’s clear that Arryn insinuates she would cosplay Blake so they both could do a couple cosplay, except that in show they’re not a couple. Intentional or not this teases the ship and brings in more views. Fans trust those 2 so much, if they tease it like that then ofc it’s happening. Except it doesn’t, it just stagnates.

Stuff like this is honestly what makes me think they’re onti it too. It’s CLEAR that they’re using bumbleby here for views, it’s clear that they’re teasing it. They’re talking about bumbleby but nothing gets confirmed, not in show or outside. What’s the point? Do they talk about renora? Or any straight ship for the matter? They know how big bumbleby is and how many bumbleby fans are in the fandom, I don’t think this is a coincidence. Renora is a popular ship as well, why aren’t they doing this with it? Why isn’t Neath teasing it the same way those 2 do?

Here’s the v4 example I’m talking about. She knows that being a fan will only burn her. She did it before, she knows how important her words are to the fandom and how people will reach for anything. As I said, she’s been here before and she knwos what she’s doing

I hope I can find some other stuff and show you. There’s lots of tweets of just a bee emoji, or them hyping up the next episode and dropping a hint about the bees (like again a bee emoji, once she posted a gif with a canon firing, a yellow heart etc.) and I don’t think that’s unintentional. I’m not saying they’re crueless monsters, but they’re not exactly your best friends either. After all some things they do harm (and did harm in the past as well) the bumbleby fandom, they set up exceptations and hype up things that never happen. And it’s not just them. Remember VRV? The valentine’s cards? Remember the merch, the tshirts with blake and yang? Why so much hype, why doesn’t renora (who even kissed and confessed!) get as much hype?

Sorry but I refuse to believe they, and all those people from RT, VRV and everything else, just love it so much and are excited about it. I refuse to believe that the ship that gets the most hype, tease and hints with little to no development/no confession/no kiss/no nothing is the LGBT ship while the straight canon ship that lots of people love doesn’t get shit. Is it simply just a coincidence? Again, they know that they can’t interact like they’re normal fans. Why do they do it. They’re the only ones who do it. Neath doesn’t do it, or Lindsay, or anyone else.

But they do it, and considering how much RT and VRV teased the ship I don’t think it’s entirely just them being excited about the ship. Sure a part is like that, Arryn at least loves the ship and it’s clear, but what a coincidence that only the wlw ship gets teased and only the voice actresses of the wlw ship that’s not canon yet hint it so much while the other voice actors of already canon ships didn’t ever say shit about their ship, RT didn’t ever say or hint or tease it either.

Is it really just a coincidence? Can’t they simply just retweet fanart and stop teasing the ship with tweets and instagram posts and all kinds of hints? I never said they’re monsters or evil, I just said they don’t give any fucks about us. And considering all this shit and how it happened in the past it wouldn’t be impossible to believe. The bumbleby fandom is like this because of them solely. Their disappointment? It’s because the voice actresses teased the ship too much and set up some standards/ideas that never happened. The crazy theories? Every fandom has them, but not to the level of the bee fandom, because the VAs feed into them. I’ve literally watched She-Ra, LoK, Owl House and many more and I never met a fandom that kept posting and begging before every single episode “bees will kiss this ep” but then when it clearly doesn’t happen say “it’s alright them sharing a glance was much more intimate I’m glad they didn’t kiss it would’ve been rushed”

And this happens for a reason. Just think about it, think about how much the VAs of the only relevant LGBT ship interact with us (and only they, no any other VAs), how much RT teases it, alongside other companies, how much merch they have in comparasion to other ships/characters, and how much hype it has for something that stagnated for 2 volumes now. It’s hard to believe it’s just a coincidence and that they’re not, at least sometimes, doing it intentionally.

(1) As always Ellie your post is very intesting and so articulate, you blow my mind with how simply you break down such a big and complex subject. I'd like to add a maybe controversial point on view on everything you've already said: the place David occupies within the fandom. This is something i've seen being discussed at length in the romance lit community about the place authors should have with their fans.

(2) On one hand, it's a joy to have the ability to communicate so easily with one of the main “creator” of the show. On the other hand, maybe it’s too much?I see 2 problems with how involved David is:- the cult of personnality it creates around him. I absolutely do not think it’s something seeked by him, far from it, but i think this is a consequence of his “overwhelming” presence in fanspace.

(3) I see a lot on Twitter, and even on Tumblr how idealized he is, how people call him “papa” and how some of the more invested fans are dying to be in his good grace and noticed by him. The consequence being a harder time to be open to some other viewers’ critical thoughts and the creation of a “milicia” ready to protect and defend him and thus attack the other fans who just express their opinions.

(4) - the lack of a fanspace where we can talk about the show without our answers being “monitored” like they are on twitter. (even maybe on Tumblr, i saw an interview once where he admitted to reading every single reaction, and tbh it doesnt sit well with me).

(5) What happened with the truth being distorted (aka the Winona and Assa gate, lmao) and the backlash it induced is awful and should never have happened, and we, as fans, are 100% responsible for letting our emotions and passion get the best of us. But I cant help to wonder if all of this situation, the escalation of the negativity and the everytime harsher reactions of the viewers have not been helped by his giant presence within the fandom.

(6) If he didnt answer or like every tweet, if he didnt repost as much fans reactions to the clips, i wonder if people would have been maybe less virulent in their tweets and posts?Like I said, this is a joy to have David so close to the fandom but i cant help but wonder if it’s not a bit too much... Personally I have very mixed feelings about this. One of the reasons that I became so invested in Skam France was to see how passionate the crew was about this story they made, all the amazing details they shared and how open they were with the fans. It is really cool. But, sadly, I also agree with you somewhat. That doesn’t excuse anything but I think them being so present in the fandom does put a little bit too much focus on being noticed by them - instead of the fandom being creative and dynamic on its own - as a sort of popularity contest as well as a little bit of that personality cult you named ; where people are more interested in talking about the actors being in their group chats or taking selfies with them or discussing every single detail with Niels or David or constantly demanding reassurance - than actually producing fandom content or interacting w other fans. Sometimes, not saying it’s the case for everyone. Personally it’s not a part of fandom I’m very interested in, which is why I’m mostly on Tumblr where they’re less present. At the same time I won’t lie, it’s really a rush to see them interact with us so much, the idea of being able to talk with them in the future, etc... it’s been a very interesting experience.

So I don’t know, but what I do think that this is not sustainable in the long run - I think definitely not for bigger shows, and I think everyone is also a little relieved that the show will be over soon, because it’s just been a bit too intense. I do think that the ideal position for a creator is to be close and open to the fandom enough to have cool discussions and share a bit of your process, but not give them this idea that you’re constantly available and watching all their interactions. With a bit more boundaries, let’s say.

Im gonna be basic and start with Rosalia because if you are not listening to here what are you doing with your LIFE???? I recommend Malamente obvs, Bagdad and the song at the Goyas because i still have chills (also Con altura if you feel like dancing)

Okay so this is where i confess that i havent watched many Spanish shows lmao but i can give you some recommendations appart from skam españa ofc

Vis a vis- show kind of based on the same idea of Orange is the new black: a womens prison. Thats it thats how much the two shows have in common. Its like a much dramatic take on it, but its really REALLY good and has a lot of great actresses

La casa de papel- ofc i have to recommend this because wow season 3 left me speechless. A must watch

Elite- yada yada its a Spanish Riverdale but well done

Merlí- elite but without deat- nevermind, elite but without the innecesary dram- nevermind....

Paquita salas- the most authentic one, its like really watching Spanish people interacting with each other.

I almost forgot Criminal!!! Its a new show on Netflix that has like 3 episodes and all the main characters are famous spanish actors! I enjoyed it a lot and its so short and ever episode is independent so its really easy to watch. Inma cuesta was SO FUCKING GOOD in it

Spanish movies

We have so so many good films okay? We like to laugh and say oh we dont have good films we are bad and well yeah if the only Spanish movie youve ever seen is torrente well ofc youre gonna think that. Anyway,

Celda 211- ive already talked about this film but its still really good

MAR ADENTRO- if you haven't watched it already................ Im gonna go to yalls houses and make you watch it

La lengua de las mariposas- a classic, a really sad classic

El orfanato- if you like scary movies and youre tired of REC this is your film (REC is also really good tbh)

La voz dormida- a beautiful film about a woman and her sister during the time after the civil war

La novia- a film based on the play Bodas de sangre, from Federico García Lorca

Toc toc- if you like comedy this might be the only Spanish film that has made me laugh out loud (fuck ocho apellidos vascos).

La llamada- its a musical about a girl who falls in love with god and her best friend who also falls in love with someone

alright obvious spoilers not that it matters bc i have one follower lmao but !! i need somewhere to scream abt this movie

first of all i love jacob and newt so much. best parts of this movie honestly i love them and i want them to be happy

but to be fair i actually rlly rlly enjoyed watching this movie!! like,, there are a looot of things i dont understand about it and i have no idea how they happened or why theyre happening but thats Okay i would still recommend everyone watch it! its so good!!!

good things:

- grindelwald !! i mean,, no hes not a good thing but i really liked how they wrote his character. like i can UNDERSTAND the power he has over people and how hes manipulating them. hes really not just a Voldemort 2.0 and i respect that a lot bc thats not what an entirely different villain should be like. but casting issues and all aside i really liked this

- i also liked the interaction between leta lestrange and dumbledore that was some good stuff and the actors were rlly good too !!! - i like the direction queenie is going in. i mean i dont actually of course but it seems realistic and i think its important and its good character development n stuff so hhh hope that works out later tho !! i am Suspense

- jacob walked into that movie and i was like !!!!!!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDD i love him so much and it was rlly nice to see him back even if i dont think it was that neat to have him lose his memory of everything that happened for significance and in this movie have everything go like WHOOMP hes back but i uhhhh loved it anyway so this is not a complaint its a good thing - i still loved newt and having a good main character makes the whole movie a better watch in general. ive seen sequels where i just Cant get attatched to the new characters but wow i didnt really have much of a problem with that here

- it was also never boring and i really just loved n enjoyed this movie a lot!!! okay hhh bad things/things that i personally disliked:

- ive seen different opinions on this but??? what was that blood pact????? what are u doing??????????????? i cant even be coherent properly so here are the main reasons that was rlly dumb

1- w-who does that in a romantic relationship ever :o and yes jkr has literally said dumbledore n grindelwald were in LOVE HELLO feel free to correct me if im wrong on anything but if ur gonna say it u should show it,,,, Continuity Please. anyway separate issue but if u love someone youre not gonna be like “hey lets make SURE we dont fight each other ever” because youll trust that the other person?? isnt gonna fight u???!!!???? im

2- thats literally not the reason he “cannot move against grindelwald” okay like it shouldnt be. this conversation literally happens in dh and dumbledore says he was scared of facing what rlly happened when ariana died!! there was no actual physical thing stopping him!!! the only acceptable justification is that he doesnt want to face this ghosts of his past and that moment and he is SCARED okay so COME ON give dumbledore his faults! hes scared of his past and that IS the reason!!

3- wait how did grindelwald, aberforth, and albus fight if they had already entered a blood pact. like i dont think albus would aim for his own brother EVER but could he even attack grindelwald if they had a blood pact?? not sure how this works lol but who was he aiming for then??? just firing everywhere randomly without intention cause that sounds,,, significantly harder to believe and makes that scene loads messier esp if grindelwald couldnt aim for albus either so

4- the blood pact was so frickin unnecessary im sobbing. like there was the scene where its all like “oh some say you were as close as brothers” and dumbledore is like “oh we were closer than brothers...” and im like OK! the little scene in the air doesnt explicitly reveal anything either so thats ok but the closer than brothers line was rlly revealing for me. at least for like two minutes and then dumbledore looked in the mirror and saw himself making a blood pact w grindelwald. like ok is That what u meant by closer than brothers bc thats what everythings pointing to but it shouldnt be and i.............ugh

5- im honestly just kind of hhhhhhhhhhhh. i can concede that the blood pact might be significant in later films and i look forward to watching them! but. at the same time i. wish that if you were going to say dumbledore was gay it would actually be explicitly referenced in the movie, instead of dancing around that and dropping it in hints and pieces that fans of the series who know this information will understand and others can just dismiss as friendship! there were So Many good places in this movie to include this fact (altho feel free to disagree w me haha) and i think that not including this fact was honestly tiring.

- nagini...........obv this isnt a huge problem bc idk where her story will go next n it might develop n become important but as of rn, i have no idea what her role in this movie is. i wonder if her reappearance in the harry potter series will actually be of significance and if itll be explained how she will end up under servitude to voldemort bc i genuinely dont understand right now. it just seems like a cameo to draw attention in the trailer ghgdjh

- leta lestrange’s death didnt feel right or impactful and im sad . definitely a huge opinion here but it felt like a mandatory character snuff to make the movie sad and ghdsjgfh oh well :(

- little continuity issues?? dumbledore being DADA professor instead of transfiguration bc Boggarts Are Important For Foreshadowing. also how is mcgonagall an adult or actually how is she even alive and um of course the fact that this movie doesnt confirm what jkr has said about dumbledore and grindelwald beforehand.

- im actually going to totally repeat myself bc this deserves a separate point umm why arent dumbledore and grindelwald actually shown as in love with each other as young men. its completely relevant to the movie and its not hard to put it in there instead of the bLOOD PACT (ask anyone irl ive been screaming abt the blood pact ever since i came out of that movie). anyway i know david yates said he wouldnt be including that as part of the movie as fans are aware of that aNyway but its not that hard to understand. people are asking for actual representation?? not smt vague??? because this is just here to Please People. if u refuse to see this ship, ure just gonna see them as having a friendship! maybe u havent heard about what jkr said or maybe ure choosing to ignore it bc,, idk that says smt about u, or maybe another reason idk! but if u go into this knowing they were In Love and hoping to see confirmation of dumbledore being canonically gay, youre going to hear that “oh, we were more than brothers” line and be like oh yeah we been knew, or more seriously like hey! maybe we’re getting a canon confirmation, not just floaty young people leaning towards each other! like when he looked in the mirror i was like okay This Is It this is gna be confirmation but then it wasnt oop. it was the !!! bloooood paaact !!! which means that people could interpret the “closer than brothers” line as meaning oh we done did a blood pact that means we blood related look at us go! Wow! so this is basically just a half azzed attempt at pleasing people w stereotypical viewpoints and people happy to see representation. hmmmmmmmmmm.. (psst if u actually ship older dumbledore n grindelwald tho What Are You Doing Stop !! thats not a healthy relationship, grindelwald is an awful person and dumbledore deserves to grow from the person he was before!!! he deserves so much better!!! im not saying to ship them but im saying that if we’re gonna say they were in love as young men and if we are going to confirm that dumbledore is gay well,,, lets put that in canon pls!!!! we need canon representation but we dont need to pretend this ship is healthy or good bc its representation either. this isnt shipping this is asking to acknowledge that dumbledore was gay and in love with grindelwald and its confirmed that grindelwald was in love with him too. in the place the story of tcog is now, that relationship is not ever going to happen again and if u actually think it is ure suffering from some next-level delusion. just be definitive and acknowledge that your characters are LGBT tho pls!! u said they were!!! actually i would be so much happier to see a Happy And Healthy LGBT Pairing can we have that? please?)

- big spoiler but hOW IS CREDENCE ALBUS’ BROTHER WHAT IS HAPPENING DKFJDKSH i need to separate my thoughts again

1- AGE DIFFERENCE........apparently dumbledore is like 46 in this movie right?? credence doesnt look over 20. okay percival dumbledore is put in azkaban before albus starts school right?? so the maximum age albus can be is 11. now im gonna say that kendra was not having any more kids w anyone else after that incident fs so the oldest albus can be when ariana is born is 12, leaving room for some other stuff okay. ALBUS AND CREDENCE DONT LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE A 12 YEAR AGE GAP WHAT IS HAPPENINF

2- i saw people theorizing that credence is ariana’s son and NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO PLS NO

3- not an actual issue but i thought grindelwald said his name was berrylius dumbledore which i later remembered as berrylium dumbledore and anyway thank god for the internet

4- okay at this point i cant tell if this has just been brought in for shock value or smt like. is this relevant to the plot. is grindelwald even telling the truth. w-why did the movie end there. help....... i think thats it but i do want to say that i respect the rights of the creator jkr to do whatever she wants w these characters. its her world! but i can have a whole bunch of opinions n feelings about this movie and still support it. after all, i love harry potter and the whole wizarding world w my whole heart.
