First, I adore you and your brain. Second, I have a silly little ankle tattoo of a doodle (it’s a lemon man) my sister made and fully love poorly drawn lil things so Eddie’s octopus is my favorite. Third! I picked up crochet during the pandemic (the first bit lmao where I got laid off and super depressed) and it’s so therapeutic when i need to just shut down and focus on one thing because I’m stressed or overwhelmed. I’m working on coasters right now, and god they’re so much easier than the first coaster pattern I tried (that one put me off for a while). I just had a funny thought though, of when Steve gets fully into it and does what a lot of us crafters do and stocks up on yarn for future projects.

I bought a big ass show organizer for all of mine and have to restrict myself to just what fits in there

(Also I’m picturing Eddie in a wonky hat like the one I just tried to make for my sister’s cat but he’s still wearing it super proud)

At the start of the pandemic, I got a new job where I was working half in the office and half from home. I also moved out of my parents’ house so I suddenly alone all the time and to kinda cope with that, I picked up knitting. I originally tried crochet but I just couldn’t get my hands to work right, but I’ve gotten it down (at least enough to do the second row), and I agree with you. It is very therapeutic and I’m happy that it was able to help you through a rough time.

And lol, but all of us crafters are the same because I have a whole shelf dedicated to yarn I bought for future knitting (and now crochet) projects.

It’s not Steve’s intention.

He is just trying this hobby out so he can tell his physical therapist that he gave it a go and it didn’t work. Steve is not crafty or creative like Eddie, so he doesn’t need to buy all this stuff.

But he did need to buy melting chocolate, so he agreed to go when Robin asked if he wanted to go to Michael’s with her. And yeah, maybe he did pick up a new crochet hook but that’s because there’s clearly something wrong with his. What other explanation is there for why he keeps skipping stitches?

And maybe he did get a new skein of yarn, but he’s just being practical. If he’s going to make Eddie a hat than he is going to need a color that compliments Eddie’s complexion, right? He might as well get this blue too. It’s a pretty color and there’s only like, five skeins left. It could disappear forever.

Then he bought a bowl to hold his yarn but it was cute! It was shaped like a sloth. And yeah, he got the yarn winder thing. That’s just practical. And okay, well. Joann’s has magazines with patterns in them so Steve’s going to need that.

And it all kinda just snowballs until, “Babe, what the hell did you buy for a hundred and fifty dollars at Michael’s?”

Steve, surrounded by yarn in each color, “Nothing.”

Also, Eddie absolutely wears anything that Steve makes him. A fan took a picture of him buying cigarettes in a lopsided hat. Another fan took a picture of him at show where his guitar strap has a single crochet chain wrapped around it. There’s a Tiktok where Eddie is pulling his hair up with a crocheted scrunchie.

Mitsuya got Angry

He croched him a small, blue octopus with angry eyebrows and put it on a keychain. Angry put it on his bike keys and takes pictures of it when he visits somewhere new.

Chifuyu got Mikey

He bought Mikey a variety of cat shaped chocolate biscuits in a nice tin. Mikey ate them all that evening and didn't share. Emma kept the tin.

Baji got Draken

Baji forgot. He tried to give him the 300 yen in his pocket but Draken told him not to bother.

Hakkai got Hina

Yuzuha helped him pick out some cute hair accessories. Hina liked them alot and Hakkai blushes whenever he sees her wearing them. (Takemichi felt insecure).

Draken got Takemichi

He gave Takemichi a small framed photo he'd taken of him and Hina. Takemichi cried. Draken had also bought him some tissues for that exact outcome.

Smiley got Kazutora

Smiley bought Kazutora some chopsticks with tigers on. Admittedly, they were the small ones for children, but it's the thought that counts, and Kazutora did use them.

Hina got Baji

He was very pleased with a small selection of cat toys. He lost one of them though when a stray he saw on his way home decided the little pink fish was his.

Ugly Bunny

Summary: Merasmus has cursed the teams again. Scout thinks his transformation is the worst. He's proven wrong though.

Merasmus’ curse last year that had turned everyone on both teams into undead zombies had been fun in a morbid way. Scout had been hoping something similarly interesting would occur this year. Which it sort of had but…

“Man, why do I gotta be a bunny?” He’d been told he’d been turned into such shortly after the curse had come in near the start of that day’s battle and hadn’t been happy about it but hadn’t had much of a chance to dwell on it until now. Cool down post-battle, milling around the base’s locker room, it was impossible to miss just how lame his transformation was compared to everyone’s. No wonder the BLU Scout had burst out laughing upon running into him the first time. Scout had been laughing right back at him too of course because he’d been turned into a goofy looking fish-man. So at least he wasn’t the only one with a bad transformation but, being an enemy, BLU Scout didn’t count for much when everyone else on RED was cool.

“What’s wrong with being a bunny?” Sniper, transformed into a cool as fuck kangaroo-man, stood next to him.

“Bunnies are soft, fluffy, cute and not dangerous. I’m a killer, I shoot people and bonk them over the head with a metal baseball bat until they stop moving so I shouldn’t be a bunny. I should be something fierce like… like a dragon or something like the Pyros are.” Both Pyros had sprouted dragons and tails out of their suits and it was badass. “I’m not even a cute bunny.” He had the ugliest bunny head he’d ever seen.

“You’re good at running and jumping though which is something bunnies are known. So it’s not that out there.” And Sniper was very conveniently not contradicting Scout’s claim about being ugly, meaning he likely agreed. Which was fine, being ugly didn’t matter, but it made the rest of Sniper attempt at being encouraging fall even flatter than I would’ve if he’d tried to lie.

“Yeah, I guess. But they run and jump away from things. And you’re a kangaroo, an animal known for kick boxing people to death. Which isn’t something your good at. The only thing you have in common with it is your both Australian. So I could just as easily be a bald eagle or a Boston Terrier instead of an ugly rabbit.”

“I think you’re a cute rabbit,” Soldier, now a raccoon-man, butted both into conversation as well as the mirror space, nudging Scout aside. While raccoons were cute and fuzzy too they were also known for committing violence, especially the ones Soldier kept as pets and trained to attack intruders.

“Buddy, I heard you call a tarantula cute once so I don’t think your opinion on which animals are cute or not really means anything.”

Whether Soldier was offended or had even heard him was hard to say as he leaned in towards the mirror to make a face. His raccoon snout made it look even more sinister. Lucky him, he got a cool animal and one that happened to be among his favorites.

Demo, his face now transformed into a badass octopus, leaned in next. “At least you didn’t end up like Spy.”

“What did Spy get turned into?” Scout hadn’t seen him since the start of the battle before Merasmus had cursed them. There was no way it was worth than an ugly bunny though.

It was Soldier who answered. “A crab. A very cute, rude crab. He pinched me when I tried to pet him.”

“What’s wrong with a crab? Crabs are cool.” Scout would’ve gladly been a crab even if it was ugly. Heck a lobster would’ve been better than a damn bunny.

Demo chuckled. “Oh laddie, if you ain’t seen yet, you gotta go find him. I think he’s with Engie right now.”

Well, Scout was tired of looking at his ugly bunny face in the mirror anyway. So with a shrug, he left. Sniper fell into step with him.

Upon inviting himself into Engie’s workshop, Engie, turned into a cat-man – specifically an orange tabby – looked to be the only one in. He glanced up as Scout and Sniper entered, perhaps frowning silently, though it was hard to tell for sure with that new cute face of his. Cute as it was though, cats had claws and sharp teeth; unlike rabbits, they were predators.

Scout took a breath to ask where Spy was but… something on Engie’s workbench turned to look at him and Sniper too. A crab. Not a normal crab though, it was about the size of one, but one that eyes resembled Spy’s, up to and including the mask around them. “Is that… Spy?” he asked, pointing at it, barely holding in laughter because if it was, that was hilarious.

“Unfortunately,” Spy said, sounding just about as annoyed as Scout would’ve thought. Which only made it funnier.

Scout burst into laughter and even Sniper, next to him, let out a snort. The Spy Crab glared at them before scuttling off, his little legs skittering. He hid behind Engie’s tool box. Which wasn’t a very good hiding spot because Scout could just walk around to stand at the end of the table to laugh at him from there.

“It’s not funny!” Even Spy’s voice was smaller at that size, making his attempt to yell even less intimidating than it could be.

“Nah, it’s hilarious.” And it made Scout feel a whole lot better about his own curse. He may be an ugly bunny but at least he was still people shaped and sized.

“All righty,” Engie’s voice was just sharp enough to cut through Scout’s laughter, “you had a good laugh at him, maybe head off now and let me work.”

Struggling to catch his breath after laughing so hard, Scout nodded. It was tempting to stick around and make fun of Spy some more but kicking a guy when he was already so humiliated was a bit mean. Not that Scout minded being mean, but he could cut a bit of slack for his pals. “Come on, Snipes, let’s get outta here, let the kitty-cat get back to work.”

Engie grunted at that but didn’t say anything as Scout hooked his arm through Sniper’s and led the way out. “So Snipes, I know I’m ugly like this, is that a huge issue for you, is it?” he asked as he closed the door behind them.

“Um, no. Why?”

“Well, there’s one other things rabbits are known for so I thought it might be fun to head to the camper to experiment. I mean, we’re covered with fur currently, that’s gotta do something right?” Such had been his first thought upon seeing the form the curse had turned Sniper into.

The kangaroo snout made Sniper’s expression a bit harder to read but he certainly looked interested. “Sure, all right, let’s go.”

what’s your favorite animal and why?

Hmmm, so I don't exactly have a favorite animal, so much as I have a favorite animal per category.

Favorite common wild animal would be the fox, they're fluffy and cute, while also being very clever and cunning. There's a lot of cool mythology about them, and a lot of my favorite fictional characters are foxes or fox related.

Favorite domestic animal: Housecats. I like kitty cuddles and purrs, and I'm a natural cat person.

Favorite bird: Peregrine falcon. They're very adaptable, moving into city spaces. I dig their dive maneuver, and they help control pest populations.

Favorite exotic wild animal: Tiger, a lot of the same stuff as for housecats actually, plus they look really cool.

Favorite aquatic animal: Octopus, particularly the mimic octopus. They are way smarter than anyone gives them credit for. They can squeeze through incredibly small openings and are known for sneaking out of their own enclosure and into other tanks to eat food and then going back to their own tank. They're very curious and bold. They can learn and then teach skills to each other. They all have cool camouflage abilities, but the mimic octopus takes it a step further and can actually pass itself off as other types of fish.

Favorite smart animal: Orca, they're scary smart. A pod in Australia (I think) formed a hunting pact with a human whaling village. The pod would drive large whales they couldn't actually take down into the bay and keep them there, then alert the villagers to come get it. They would get tasty snacks, the tongue, and the village got the rest. They have a part of the brain devoted to empathy that humans don't. Honestly, I think they might be fully sentient.

I get kind of rambly sometimes.

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon for Otto and you. Sitting on the couch, your legs were draped over his, while his hands rested on them, stroking your thighs lovingly. 

All the while, you had a huge grin on your face, as your eyes lit up with the sheer passion you had for what you were talking about. 

Ever since you two sat down like this, you’ve been telling Otto all about your favourite oceanic creatures and some fun facts about them. He felt like he was just falling deeper in love with you with every word that passed your lips. 

“Oh, oh, oh! And did you know? The mantis shrimp is notorious for their striking force, which is why they also have the nickname ‘thumb splitter’, because of the painful gashes they can cause if handled without care by humans. I think that’s pretty neat. I mean, it’s such a small, kinda cute creature, and yet!” you told him, tapping his shoulder repeatedly in excitement.

Smiling, Otto nodded, “Not everything that seems cute is very nice after all.”

“Exactly! It’s the humans’ fault anyway, so hey. But also!” you continued, then, “Those fabulous little guys are actually quite violent predators and their diet depends on the species - you know, whether they are spearers or smashers, like I explained before. And so they typically eat fish, crabs, clams, snails, worms, shrimp and squid. Oh! And they can also prey on animals much larger than themselves, due to their massive power. Cool, right?”

Otto rubbed your thigh affectionately and nodded again, “Very cool, indeed. I must admit, I’ve never known much about any creatures that live in the ocean, so, thank you. You’re teaching me a lot by sharing your knowledge with me, my dear.”

Chuckling softly, you took his hand into yours and just held it. 

“Thank you for listening to me, my love,” you said, squeezing his hand lightly.

“Always. What you’re saying is extremely interesting to me,” Otto responded kindly. 

“I’m glad you think so. You know, usually people get annoyed when I talk about this stuff. I really appreciate you for being interested.” You swung your legs off of his own and closed the small distance between you two, pecking his lips sweetly. “I love you.”

“And I love you, sweetheart,” Otto said, kissing you back. “I can see how eager you are to tell me more. So, what else do you have for me?”

Laughing heartily, you only looked slightly embarrassed by his little remark. Then, with a bright grin on your lips, you inhaled deeply and continued going on about different animals of the sea. 

While you were reciting facts with your own commentary about the coconut octopus, Otto had to realise that some of the information was most likely getting lost on him because it was a lot and he also had a hard time focusing when he was looking at your gorgeous face when you were talking. Nonetheless, most of it always stayed with him; often popping into his head when he thought about you, when he saw an aquarium, or when he stood at the shore, overlooking the sea. 

A smile stayed on his face throughout. He nodded and acknowledged what you were telling him, sometimes commenting if he had something to say or you were looking for a response. It kept going for hours; although it didn’t feel like that at all to him.

“Okay,” you sighed, speaking with a hoarse voice by now, “That’s all I’ve got right now. Or I might really lose my voice.”

“I was already going to stop you because of that. We have all the time in the world, my dear. You can tell me more some other day, okay?” Otto told you gently, brushing his hand through your hair.

Smiling softly, you kissed his cheeks and then his mouth, “You’re right,” you murmured against his lips, “Thank you. Again.”

Otto only cradled your face in his hands and kissed you passionately. There was no verbal response needed from him, then. He knew that you would understand what he was trying to convey with the kiss.

He was grateful for you. He cared about you. He was deeply and utterly in love with you. And he wanted to hear more as soon as possible. Because he loved seeing you so happy. And he loved hearing your voice. But most of all, he simply loved spending time with you.

Been brainstorming a bit more about what animals to base all the different Eggs' dragon designs after, 'cause I really like how Tallulah and Chayanne's looked in my previous drawing :]

Overall they will all mostly look like dragons, but small things like face structure, body structure, tail, pattern, if they have fur or scales or something else, and/or if they have horns, ears and things like that will be determined by the animals that's gonna be mixed into their design.

For example: Tallulah's got a mix of farm animals (mostly cows tho') into her overall design, and has the pattern (and maybe the back fin and/or tail, idk yet) of an orca, which will hopefully be more noticeable if I do a full body drawing of her lol. Meanwhile, Chayanne's a mix of a goat (the horns + I'm thinking of giving him the tail of a goat qvq it's very cute), and will also be either a mix of both a duck and a crow, or just crow. Unsure yet if I want the duck floatie to be just an accessory, or if I should maybe make his hind legs have webbed feet like a duck while his front legs have crow feet.

For the other Eggs, I still don't have everyone set in stone. Like:

For Dapper, I only got black cat on the list, but I miiight add bat too. Idk yet.

With Ramon, I do want him to have some alligator features, but idk what else. A small part of me wants to add catfish just 'cause it would be funny lol. Or I could go with something "octopus-esque" 'cause of the meature (I know the mob doesn't have egg legs, but it still reminds me of an octopus ajkshfaksh) and let Ramon have either 4 front legs or 4 hind legs, and then two tails instead of one so he has 8 limbs all together. But idk.

As for Leo, she definitely gonna have some shark features (the back fin, probably the tail, and maybe the pattern of a leopard shark? idk yet), and more than likely will have some bull terrier features (mostly the face, ears, and maybe the pattern if I don't go for the leopard shark pattern).

Richarlyson I know I want to have highland bull mixed into his design, 'cause of the mushroom helmet + those bull breeds got so much fur it covers their eyes, which just seemed fitting due to most of people's design of Richas :] As for what else to mix in... idk o(-(

Pomme I'm struggling a bit to figure out. I have put down butterfly, so she could have antennas + her butterfly wings (or at least something like her butterfly wings, idk yet if I'm gonna give any of them full-ish wings), but idk what else to mix her with orz

I knew for Sunny, I wanted at least an animal that represented the sun + give her the pattern of a tiger ('cause of her cat hat she wore). And one animal that represented the sun was a ram, which I immediately chose since Tubbo is the one spending most of the time with her, and I still kinda HC him as either a goat or a ram hybrid.

Besides having the pattern and maybe some features of a calico cat, idk what other animal to mix into Empanada's design o(-( Ayayay

Pepito seemed pretty set in stone for me. Having some mix of axolotl, maybe a hint of duck, and more than likely the pattern of some sort of spider into his dragon design :]

It will probably be a while before I even try to attempt drawing these designs, but hey, gives me plenty of time to find out what other animals to mix into the design of some of these Eggs uvu

Also, I probably won't write down any design ideas for Tilin, Juana Flippa, Trump and Bobby since I just don't know enough about them orz I sadly started watching the QSMP quite a few months after those four passed.

For question 9

Rika's favourite food is chicken but mostly fried chicken. Her least favourite food are squids and octopus(she hates the texture). Like her brother, she is a VERY picky eater. Rika generally hates vegetables but not all of them. It's mostly greens & bean sprouts however she can eat veggies if it's pair with other food like fried rice and sandwiches. Rika has no food allergy in particular.

For question 15

Because I headcanon Rika and Kosaku being socially awkward, they don't interact much with their extended family members. I also headcanon Rika & Kosaku's parents died when they were quite young. Their grandmother raised them (she's still alive). Obviously you knew where they are living with now. Rika with three cats and Kosaku with a nuclear family.

What you didn’t expect was for him to get the courage to pull you back forward, and flip the two of you over. Now, he was on top of you, and he held your wrists/arms to your sides. There was still a massive blush on his face, but he got you flustered as well. That’s a huge victory for him.

Even though he is a dragon fae, he was following you around like a lost puppy. You were the love of his life, and he wanted to make sure that you were safe from every single danger that presented itself. In return, please give him all of your love and affection.

"According to a reverse image search, you’re a Pallas’s cat," Natasha says, lowering her phone, and Bucky still doesn't believe she needed to take that many photos of him to figure it out.

He also can’t believe that this has happened to him again, and he's not sure if it makes things better or worse that this time he's been transformed fully into a cat. He's definitely not happy about how tiny he is, he'd barely been able to reach his claws up into Sam’s thich when he’d dared to call Bucky fluffy.

Worst of all, he's pretty sure Tony is going to be pissed that he got himself cursed again.

Tony is going to accuse him of doing it on purpose again, even though he’s really not, and especially not this time. There’s no way in hell would Bucky ever want to be turned into a tiny cat, but then again he didn’t want to be turned into a Yeti or an octopus either and Tony still gives him suspicious looks whenever those incidents come up.

The only upside is that Tony isn’t here, he’s been busy with SI meetings all week and this was the quick easy mission it was supposed to be. Not counting the part where Bucky got turned into a cat.

Natasha’s phone chimes, and she glances at the screen before announcing, “Tony is on his way.”

Bucky yowls angrily at her.

“Of course I sent him pictures,” Natasha says, smiling brightly, “he deserves to see this. And mock you.”

Bucky starts to yowl at her again, only to cut off in a soft squeak when he hears footsteps approaching the hanger. He’d know those footsteps anywhere, no matter what shape he’s in, and so much for his plan to remain in the hanger until someone gives in and takes him to see Strange before Tony finds out. Sure, Sam had bailed after Bucky clawed him, but he’d thought he was close to wearing Natasha down.

Now all he can do is spin to face the doorway as Tony steps into the hanger, crouching low and looking up with the big innocent eyes that Tony always swears could get him out of anything. At least it does when he has his human face, and hopefully it works as a tiny cat too.

Tony’s gaze sweeps around the hanger before landing on Bucky and then he freezes in place, eyes going wide, and Bucky braces himself for the worry and anger. Instead Tony just stares at him for several long seconds, face completely blank, and then what looks like tears fill his eyes.

“Oh my god,” Tony says before Bucky can start to panic, “please please can I rub your little ears?! You’re so- how are you that- I can’t even-”

“Don’t call him fluffy, that’s how Sam got clawed,” Natasha advises, and Bucky hisses at both of them.

“I don’t care if you claw me,” Tony says decisively, marching across the hanger towards him, “I am going to wear you like a scarf.”

“Always knew you two were freaks,” Natasha says with a smirk and a wink, and she is officially too amused with Bucky’s predicament. She’s getting scratched too.

Bucky hisses again, but when Tony leans down to scoop him up he just huffs out a tiny sigh and lets it happen.

Heyyy, I hope you’re doing ok! I love ur blog and I know we’re strangers who will possibly never meet but Recently, the little things have pushed me over the edge and close to an anxiety attack I presume but I’ve been using knitting and crochet to cope. It sounds weird Ik, but may u do the brothers and Undateables with an MC who does that and MC just ends up making so much stuff in one day that she gives it away to them. I’m so sorry if it’s weird, pls feel free to choose whether to do it or not but this blog has made me a little happier than before, thank you for reading and being here!

I actually use to do knitting, never finished anything and lost interest but it was really calming and fun. Couldn't keep my attention for long as it was very repetitive and got boring quickly but I always just genuinely enjoyed it despite that?

Stress knitting seems like the most wholesome way to handle anxiety and stress, it helps you focus on something else, you're being productive and having fun aswell as being safe! Though do be careful with the needles

Riddle would stare in absolute disbelief as you happily presented your one-hundred-centimetre nesoberi of him to… well, him. “What do you mean I’m cute—!” He’ll attempt to protest, but he’s so caught off guard that the only thing he can really do is flush completely red and maybe stomp off. He’ll get pouty when you only hug the stuff toy in bed afterwards, but he won’t tell you to get rid of it. (Even if he secretly does want you to do so).

Ace would be all smirk and absolute arrogance. “Oh, you like me so much you got a stuff toy version of me?” He’ll watch as you carry it around in your embrace and he’ll tease you about how tightly you’re holding onto him too. He might even brag or talk about how cute you are to his friends… That all changes when he realizes you’re neglecting him in favour of the stuff toy. He’ll start getting jealous and might try to rip it out of your hands so that the real Ace could take its place.

Deuce’s first reaction is to separate you from the toy because he thinks its some weird prank from Ace or something. Then he’ll just be confused, “Wait—you bought a stuff toy version of me?” He’ll blush at how much you cuddle it—and he’s the type of person who will walk out while you cuddle ‘him’ because he feels like he’s intruding. He won’t tell you to get rid of it, but he does end up eyeing it weirdly.

Trey would be surprised—and probably really confused about it too. He doesn’t really react wildly to it, he might even treat it as some sort of pet? He’ll pat it on the head and… sometimes he’ll just squish its face. You will notice… that weird stuff happens though. Whenever Trey is over you’ll come into your bedroom and the stuff toy is deliberately positioned weirdly. One time, he pulled you in for heated kiss and from the corner of your eye—is the stuff toy facing the corner of the room? Upside down? “I didn’t do it.” Trey claimed but a mischievous spark in his eyes says otherwise.

Cater squeals. He thinks it’s absolutely cute and hang on—“Babe, do you have more merch of me? Can you bring it out? Quick! I want a photo~! #Mydarlinglovesme #Thisisthecutest #Catermerch.” He’s not exactly surprised that merchandise of him exists, however he is incredibly honoured that you would buy it. He’s not going to hate it too much and he’ll find it funny how he’s sharing you with another clone of his… As long as you remember who you’re dating first amongst them all of course!

Leona’s first reaction to it is to let out a hiss. There’s another cat invading his territory and he is far from happy. His first reaction is to grab it and destroy it with his Unique Magic. No, he’s not going to listen to you—he doesn’t care how much you might’ve spent on it. He’s getting rid of it right now. If it somehow survives longer than a day, every time he sees it in your hands—he’s just going to bristle like a possessive cat before—“That’s it. Hand it over right now, I’m going to dust that smug face—"

Jack… doesn’t really know how to react to it. He just crosses his arms and stares at it rather oddly. “So… you bought that…?” His tail is wagging just the littlest bits though, so you know that even if he’s not showing it—he actually is a little… thrilled that you wanted a stuff toy version of him. For some reason he starts treating it like it’s a member of his pact. Sometimes you’ll catch him talking to it and telling it to watch over you, “Take care of them, okay? They’re precious… to both of us.”

Ruggie just squints and he has a very confused, maybe even disturbed expression on his face. It’s a “I’m not judging you and your questionable use of money at all” expression. Other than that, I can see him just not really acknowledging it’s existence—maybe just patting it on the head sometimes. “Shishishi… What a waste of money.” he’ll say out loud even if there’s quite an indescribable tenderness on his face too.

Azul would be a straight up mix of embarrassment, pride, and horror. Embarrassment because he can’t believe you bought a stuff toy of him and you’re carrying it around, doting on it so much (“I need my octopus pot”). Pride exactly for the same reason too—he can’t believe he’s so lucky to have a lover who would so flamboyantly display their love for him like this… Though maybe tone it down a bit, please? Too much is embarrassing. And finally, he feels horror because, “YOU SPENT HOW MUCH MADOL ON THIS THING?”  

Jade starts off incredibly flabbergasted. He might stare, just completely dumbfounded for a bit as you parade the stuff toy around. Afterwards, I can see him responding with amusement over how much you dote on the stuff toy. He might just tease you over it too.  However, if it takes up too much of your attention, he becomes quite vengeful. One day you’ll come back to your room and see the stuff toy gone while Jade is standing there dusting his hands, “My, have you returned? Come my flower, your attention has been stolen away from me for too long… fufufu.”

Floyd just wants to get rid of it. He stares at it in stunned silence—it may be the quietest you’ve ever actually seen him. He’ll point at it accusingly, meet your gaze and just whisper a soft “Imposter.” Floyd then begins to have some sort of weird rivalry with the stuff toy—glaring at it, growling—he might even bite it as he rips is out of your arms. He won’t tell you to get rid of it, but it’s obvious that he wants to get rid of it. If he happens to want to cuddle with you and it’s in your arms? He’ll just grab the toy and toss it over his shoulder, uncaring of where it might land. “I’m not sharing you with anyone! Or anything!”

Kalim is thrilled? He’s just, “This is so cute! Wait, I should have one commissioned of you too so we can carry it around together! Hahah, should we get one made for Jamil as well?” (Jamil voice: “No. Don’t you dare—Oi! Kalim!”) Either way, Kalim will probably find a way to get a one-hundred-centimetre nesoberi of you as well. He’ll insist on the two of you going out on double dates with the huge stuff toys too. “It will be a lot of fun! Really!”

Jamil takes one long look at it before he sighs very deeply and shoots you a look. It’s a look of “why would you do this to me”, “please don’t show Kalim” and also a “I’m going to turn around and when I turn back around that better not be there and we can both pretend this didn’t happen.”  He’s not going to be the most outwardly flattered. He’ll just instantly be exhausted seeing it exist. He won’t actively tell you to get rid of it but he’ll pretend he never saw it. (Okay so maybe he can’t help a tiny smirk that curls up his lips as he sees you lovingly dote on… well… him.)

In Vil’s case, the nesoberi was a limited item that he was expected to hand out to the lucky lottery winner. He’s not so much stunned that the stuff toy exists, what really got him is when you merrily skipped onto the stage to claim it. There’s something like fond exasperation on his face and he’ll bend down to ask, “You know darling, I could’ve gotten one made for you if you wanted it so much.” At your dismissal and adamant note that “Of course I was going to win you fairly this time too!” Vil’s lips curled up into an arrogant smile. There was no winning against you. 

Epel‘s first instinct is to actually punch the stuff toy and if you protest—“What? It has a really punch-able face!” He’ll end up quite grumpy as he sees you give it so much attention. He doesn’t quite understand the point and his irritation somehow distracts him from the embarrassment of seeing you happily cuddle with the… thing. He also might not register that his irritation is jealousy at you giving your attention to something else too. He’ll have glaring matches with the thing muttering, “it’s not that cute.”

Rook… well, jokes on you. You went to try to get a reaction out of him by presenting him a stuff toy only to walk in on him organizing his own collection of one-hundred-centimetre nesoberis. The pride of his collection being one he commissioned of you (the rest of his collection you ask? Why there’s a Vil, a Neige… and is that a Leona one—?) Something he won’t tell you however, is that he does feel the slightest bit thrown off that you managed to get a stuff toy version of him… “You truly are a thrill to be with, surprising me like this—Mon Monarque.”

Idia blushes furiously at the sight of the nesoberi. Out of everyone else, he understands what you mean by showing him this. That he’s your favourite person—and though it embarrasses him, he also feels honoured by the fact you had a nesoberi of him commissioned. He’ll shyly ask, “So… would it be okay if I get merch of you too?” Once he has permission, he’s enthusiastically commissioning his favourite artists for a nesoberi of you. Sooner or later his room would be filled with figurines of you two and fanart as well!

Malleus will start out thinking it’s really amusing… and how adorable for his bright light to have picked up a toy resembling him and cuddling with it as well. He might end up cooing quite a bit as he watches you hug it. However, there will be a point where Malleus will start getting lonely. He’ll feel as if you’re forgetting to invite him out because you had the stuff toy to hang out with instead. He might sulk and watch from quite a distance. When you invite him out, he might pettily bring up the stuff toy instead. “Ah, my bright light… to think you can make me feel like a child again…”

You surprise Lilia for quite a few minutes before he tosses his head back and laughs. He’s absolutely amused by the fact that you have managed to purchase a nesoberi of him. He’ll probably borrow it for a bit, twisting and turning it—remarking about how the craftsmanship was excellent. Then he’ll ask you if he can borrow it longer so he can play pranks on the whole Diasomnia. He’ll pretend to have been turned into a stuff toy, “Come now love, it will be fun to watch them all panic~!”

Silver just blinks very slowly as he stared at the stuff toy then you and back… He just shrugs it off and proceeds to flop down right on top of it. He’ll note that hey, it’s pretty soft before conking out. Eventually he grows to be fond of it as a pillow and he’ll often use it as a pillow if you’re too busy doing something else. At the end, it will be you who’d get all pouty when you realize he doesn’t cuddle as much with you because he can do it with the stuff toy. One time he’ll go over your place and blink in surprise when you’ve hidden it away. He’ll laugh softly before he’ll tug you gently onto the bed for a cuddle, “Silly, of course you’re still my favourite one to cuddle.”

Sebek’s mouth falls open in shock as he catches sight of the stuff toy. He opens and closes his mouth several times, his face slowly turning complete red before he promptly loses it—“Why do you have a stuff toy of me!?” Sebek literally has no idea how to deal with this. His feelings are somewhere in between complete embarrassment and exasperation. He will refuse to acknowledge it’s existence, he’ll pretend it never happened and he never saw it. It really is fun for you though, because whenever you bring it out the boy’s immediately blushing and stuttering.

I feel like Dire would just stand, stunned for a bit as he stared at the stuff toy. With the mask in the way, you won’t be able to truly tell how he feels—but once it sinks in that yes you are in fact, clutching a stuff toy version of him—he’ll recoil in surprise. He’s someone who’ll exaggerate his surprised by hopping backwards, raising his hands in the air as he peers at you with wide yellow eyes. “E-eh!? Why do you have a stuff toy of me?” I think he’ll just be amused (and maybe slightly petty if it steals your attention too much).

Divus would be surprised then flattered. His smirk is wide as he draws closer to you—eyes meeting your own before he bent down to touch the toy. He’ll probably look at it for a bit, noting that it’s captured him well. “How cute. It seems I don’t really need to get you a toy myself, do I, pet?” He won’t be too irritated seeing it take up your attention. He’s someone who won’t be threatened because he knows exactly how to get your attention. He’ll do it when he thinks you deserve a little punishment for ignoring him.

“IN-STOCK NOW~!” Sam pointed dramatically at the one-hundred-centimetre nesoberi of himself with a wide easy going and incredibly smug grin. You probably didn’t think it was possible for his smile to get even more smug as you pulled out the cash to actually purchase the item. I don’t really think he’ll mind much over seeing you cuddle it almost pettily after he practically scammed you. If anything, I think he’d think it’s pretty cute you think you can get back at him by only paying attention to the nesoberi!Sam.

Mozus would just have a very exhausted, deadpanned expression as he studies the huge stuff toy on the bed. Lucius on the other hand, is incredibly thrilled and will pounce the new toy giddily. Eventually you and Lucius might end up having a sort of cute rivalry over it—where you just want your cuddle toy and Lucius just wants his bed. Mozus is slightly weirded out by how much enjoyment Lucius seems to have lying down on this stuff toy version of him. “Don’t even say a thing my dear, I fear I don’t want to know.”

Ashton’s immediate reaction to this new huge thing on your bed is “how heavy is it?” and “can I use it as a weight?” I don’t think they’re as heavy as he wants them to be though, so he’ll be disappointed for a bit. He’ll then brighten up when he realizes that it’s actually a stuff toy version of him and he’ll happily yell, “You got a stuff toy of me? How cute!” He’ll just straight up think it’s adorable that you got one and likely chance, he’ll try to get one of you too to match.

It’s been a couple weeks since the event ended, and now that I can breathe again, I wanted to come up with a list of fics and art that I really liked (and I’m sorry if this gives you an insight into my tastes 🙈). The list is in no particular order, and I have brief descriptions of the fics. I apologise in advance for the inevitable wall of text.

This is by no means a definitive list, we had 120 (AWESOME) entries in the collection on AO3, and several others that were shared only on the Discord server. These are just the AO3-based ones I like right now. If you enjoy my picks (mind the tags on some of these), do check out the rest too!

From the Deep by Sholeh675 (Solange956). Nicky rescues a giant octopus. Which turns out to be an alien. With tentacles. I love this because it reminds me of a certain Gintama doujin *cough cough*. 

Joe and Nicky’s Excellent Journey by ejdominus. A choose-your-own-adventure fic, where you follow Joe and Nicky as they jump through dimensions and encounter different versions of themselves. I know how hard ejdominus worked on this fic, and it is soooo worth it!

They Meet in Berlin by fishie_scribbles. A newly married Joe carries out a  steamy, years-long affair with a mysterious stranger. This story is dark, angsty, and loaded with feels. Oooh, the feels!

Hot Mess Supernatural Threat Eliminators: Sexventures of Malik & Guido by loflight501. From the author of A Leap of Faith, comes a series featuring��my new favourite crossover pairing. Super kinky and super romantic!

let yourself go by ejdominus and mildlyhorrific. This is a WIP but ohmaigawd, it is so good. The story is super well-written (mind the tags!), and worth following if you are into really dark fics with a cat-and-mouse theme.

Little Animal Disaster by o_psique and Harucm. This WIP fic is in Spanish, and features comicsverse Joe and Nicky in a College AU. It’s also omegaverse! Also, check out their other Spanish-language fics from the collection!

I've Got a Dark Alley and a Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth by primo_nizzuto. I like Majid/Fabio, but this fic presents an angsty twist, where Majid feels drawn towards Fabio’s weaker twin brother Cesare. The feels!

Love At First Time by yonge_sonne. A super interesting, and super kinky omegaverse fic with a really unique twist on the whole size kink thing. Like, really unbelievably hot and dirty!

Recalescence by quincette. It’s got magic, it’s got omegaverse, and it’s got forbidden romance! It’s a WIP, but I really recommend you following this one, as well as the author’s other WIP fic Bits & Glimpses, a kinky gloryhole dating app fic.

Passion by LumusWinter. An omegaverse fic where sex pollen triggers Joe’s rut, and a virgin omega Nicky has to save him. Repeatedly. With sex.

And Let My Cry Come Unto Thee by yusufs-stew-of-romance (Orientation). A sexy, supernatural-themed fic where an exorcist Nicky battles a sex demon that has possessed his friend Joe, a man he secretly loves. So good! Also, check out the author’s other fic, a super hot FMM threesome between Joe, Nicky and Nile!

Of Forbidden Pleasures by Anonymous. A fic that somehow manages to imbue the acts of fisting and lactation with romance? Ohmaigawd, yessss!!!

The Holy by Ealasaid. These two fics are short, but packed with emotion. There’s also a bit of necro in there, which may not be for everyone, but I certainly like it.

We Found Love In An Invarrie Place by Claire. I have watched this fic spark and bloom on the server, and ohmaigawd, everyone should read it. It’s very, very kinky and also very, very romantic!

your scars remember healing by dana_norram. The prequel to the amazing Wistful is the rain, I could feel my heart squeeze so many times reading it. It’s so angsty, but full of hope.

The Adventures of StickFigure!Joe and StickFigure!Nicky by Claire. Most of these are in the collection, and they are hilarious!

You steal my body and worship it, This is what it is to love an artist and Pas de trois + No. 13, the 4th movement by linx91. All of these are super sexy!

Local Tentacle Man Falls in Love by beeans. Ohmaigawd, so cute!

Harem, Heat, Lingerie, Nipple play and Pet play by carocchi. I love the pink tones and the sexy mood!

Which Time in Malta? by shatterthefragments. This is a mix of fics and art, and I just love the simple hand-drawn, hand-painted nature of them.

The Perfumer and Sweet bun(s) by Somberio. A dark moodboard and a sexy bunny art!

I wanna be a champion, I wanna be a loser by GioTanner. A naughty pharaoh/centurion comic!

The more the merrier by Fancy_Dragonqueen. Lots of Marwans, one Nicky. Enough said.
