the entire fighting scene is so very interesting for me.

like had I been a lady of the court, I would have found probably watching the training - for scientific purposes, obviously - EVERY MORNING, just to see the love of my life Aemond being all twirly and cool and cheering on him and 'do you need a wet towel or water, my prince? a wife, maybe?'

but aside from the moronic thoughts, his technique is so beautiful and I think they did an amazing job in confronting it with her Criston's own, as it makes it clear that while one has the strength the other has the grace; I am truly looking forward to more battle scenes with him... but I am also sad about the fact that we didn't get him slowly settling in just using one eye, more it'd have been so interesting.

I also have sight issues and there is a shit ton of things that become more difficult with such conditions and you have to absolutely get used to it, even more if you aren't used from birth!

(still, I am low key surprised that he didn't have his own personal cheerleaders back then, because not only he is strong, beautiful but also SO ELEGANT)
