miles to me seems like a future, frank ocean, kendrick lamar, steve lacy, PARTYNEXTDOOR, brent faiyaz/sonder and a lil sza, cuz lets be fr, its sza, kinda guy. he's the kinda guy to love music for the meaning, as long as its got a good beat to it. now, song wise?

solo by future, for sure. you can just listen to it and be like "yeah, thats miles." especially the lyrics, "i been solo now, i've been goin solo now". reminds me when he says "nah, ima do my own thing" in the movie.

her way by partynextdoor. this song feels like a song he'd play while he's drawing (coughs, drawing gwen for the 70th time) the lyrics, "She wasn't on a roll, now she roll with a winner" reminds me of gwen n miles cuz at first, when they met, it was kind of just the two of em, but now she's out with the spider society (well, she was) with hobie and patvir, "rollin with winners."

miles + brent faiyaz = perfection. needed portrays miles when he finds out about his friends' betrayal perfectly. "you and your friends, rammed my name to the ground." makes you think about the scene where he realises they knew what would happen to his father all along.

infrunami by steve lacy. ive seen this on tiktok too many dayum times not to include it lmaoo gwen and miles. every word of that song screams gwen and miles, but esp "can you come back to me? cuz I was blind to see that you were right infront of me." just remember that scene where miles was upside down infront of gwen and moved closer to kiss her but didnt cuz he was invisible? yeah, those exact lyrics match that exact moment and we ALL know it!

so, uh... netflix avatar certainly is a show, huh? i just finished episode 1 and i'm gonna ramble on about it below. blacklist "#len watches natla" or "natla spoilers" if you either don't wanna see this shit or you don't want spoilers.

fair warning that i was relatively neutral going into the show, but episode 1 was... hmm. i'm still struggling to formulate words on it. i didn't love it, but it wasn't shyamalan levels of bad by any means. i'm gonna hop right into episode 2 after this post bc i've heard the pilot and the finale are the weakest episodes and i genuinely wanna give it a fair chance before i cast judgment.

so, they open with the air nomad genocide. i knew this going in, but it certainly sets a Tone, a Tone that does NOT feel like avatar. like, i understand they wanted to elevate the level of maturity a bit and make things more serious, but was it rlly necessary to see a shit ton of air nomads get fireballed to death, culminating in gyatso getting burned alive trying to protect a room of children, who also presumably get incinerated?? they didn't show that part, instead doing a hard cut to katara waterbending a century later (resulting in EXTREME whiplash for me), but them violently dying is the only way that ends.

also, minor quibble: the firebending looked normal to me, but the general who killed gyatso said smthn like "you might have beaten me any other day, but today we have the power of the comet!" but their bending doesn't look very different from zuko's bending later? it's a little more flamey ig, but in s3 when ozai gets juiced up the motherfucker is out here destroying whole forests from his airship.

onto the acting. gordon cormier's portrayal felt a little too rehearsed and theatrical rather than natural, but he's a kid and acting is hard so i'm def gonna cut him some slack, and he does seem pretty happy and earnest, even if his delivery is a bit forced. kiawentiio tarbell is pretty good, but her dialogue left a bit to be desired, which isn't on her and i'll complain about later. ian ousley gave the best performance imo, tho ymmv bc ik there's some controversy around his heritage that i don't feel i have the right to get into due to tribal registration being a complex topic, blood quantum being awful, and me being white. gran gran was barely there and just exposited everywhere in a weird callback to the og intro, so i don't really feel like she's that important even tho i liked her casting. uncle iroh... i'm not sure. he wasn't too prevalent, which is understandable this early on. i liked paul sun-hyung lee's warmth, but don't have much to say otherwise yet. and then there's dallas james liu. i think his acting was pretty solid, at least on the level of dev patel's performance (which i swear is a compliment bc he was the only good part of shyamalan's dumpster fire of a film imo). i think the issue i have with the performance is down to the writing, which i guess i'll get into now bc it's my biggest issue with episode 1.

the dialogue flow was mid, and there was a bit of info dumping from gyatso in his scene with aang which i found distracting. speaking of info dumping, gran gran was just kinda there to explain the last hundred yrs to aang and then have zero interactions with her grandchildren before they flew off, which was dumb.

still on the topic of writing: i mentioned the tone set by the opener, and i think that's bad, but it also fucked up the pacing by not starting at the same point the og did. by the end of the episode they shoehorned in the trip to the southern air temple with like 11 mins left (i checked) and so that made aang's grief triggering the avatar state feel rushed. i also thought the flashback to gyatso's earlier dialogue when aang saw his corpse was unnecessary. like bitch, i watched that 30 mins ago, i remember it fine! by the end, aang seemed waaaay more driven than he did in s1 of the original, almost as self-confident as he was in s3. like, he accepted being the avatar real quick. i'm pretty sure he'll display a bit more uncertainty later in the season (at least, i hope he does), but that still felt off to me.

my biggest complaint about the writing is zuko. i KNOW he's a brat, i am well aware of that as a lifelong zuko girlie, but was him trying to kill sokka necessary??? he was literally about to throw a fireball at him when he was lying defeated in the snow before aang stepped in. he also commanded his soldiers to burn the village to the ground at one point. i understand he's a villain and that they're attempting to corner the Prestige TV market here, so they've decided to make him grittier. i don't like it, though. in the cartoon, zuko is driven in his awful quest, but he's also honorable - in the village he nods his head in agreement when aang asks if he'll leave the village alone if aang goes with him. that little moment showed his honor, his true honor, peeking through. also in the cartoon, he's really bad at finding the avatar despite being very skilled in combat. i don't know how they're gonna have him show up very much in this season if he's gonna be more of a ruthless asshole tbh.

overall, i'm left just kinda confused with the tone and character writing of the show. i'm going to watch the whole season because it's only 8 episodes and i genuinely hope it improves somewhat, but i'd give it either a 6 or a 6.5/10, i can't quite decide.

23 little things about me

Well, look at the time! Well, date, actually. It’s the 20th of February which means I’ve grown yet another year older. Twenty-three winters, in fact.

Now, I’m not one to celebrate birthdays since I don’t see the point in it. Yes, you’ve survived yet another year and are one step closer to death. Good on you. All the same, I’ll use the occasionally to share twenty-three wee facts about me.

1. I am fluent in Dutch (native tongue) and English (native-like).

2. Hair colour: Currently burgundy/reddish brown. Naturally, it’s dark brown with a reddish glow.

3. Eye colour: Hazel

4. I used to be able to speak French fairly well, but my mastery over the language has deteriorated over the years. Seriously need to brush up on it, though my passive skills are still good.

5. I love to travel solo and spent my gap year doing so. I still do whenever I can.

6. Thus far I’ve been to Ireland (2x, all over), Northern Ireland (Belfast, where I picked up my accent, apparently, although it’s now also mixed with Galway’s and Dublin’s with a sprinkle of Yorkshire and Edinburgh), South-Korea (2x, Seoul, Busan & Daegu), Czech Republic, Hungary, Indonesia (Java & Bali), England (all over), Wales, Scotland (4/5x), Denmark, Belgium (Bruges & Brussels), France (Paris, 2x by myself, multiple times with others).

7. I have both forearms tattooed.

8. The wolf tattoo is to commemorate getting my Celtic minor.

9. The bird and axe tattoo I got simply because I liked the design when I first saw it at the Brussels Tattoo Convention last November. I got the tattoo in December.

10. I plan to get more tattoos in the future which will be placed according to the aesthetic of being somewhat of an excavation site that contains relics that may or may not be related to Loki and the schematic I divided my body into.

11. That being said, the schematic is;

- Right arm: Blackwork (Norse/Celtic)

- Left arm: Neotraditional (preferably all done by the same artist)

- Left leg: Neotraditional (stained glass, to be done by the same artist). Getting the line art for piece to start it off on April 24th.

- Right leg: To be decided, but I think it’s gonna be either blackwork or Japanese. Maybe a combination.

12. Favourite movies: Venom, The Gentlemen, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Arthur: Legend of the Sword, The Wolfman (2010 remake).

13. I can’t handle hot weather, so I’ll start complaining as soon as the temperature rises above 25 degrees.

14. I’m a pescatarian bordering on full vegetarian/vegan (though I’m not too picky about dairy and gelatin).

18. I’m guilty of Musedom and basically see myself as the female W.B. Yeats. One Muse in particular has persisted over the past four years, which is quite an accomplishment. He’s the inspiration for Christopher and Chan-Woo.

Besides the crazy stupid plot twist and dumb character actions I think the big problen why Jurassic World is a failure of a narrative is that it constantly confuses its own tone and what idea it wants to convey. And as a whole it just sounds like singing praises to capitalism and pinning problems on other aspects instead of the root of the problem.

So JW is said to have been open for 15 years, and its said people are bored with classic InGen retrosaurs hence initiating the creation of Indominus, and yet from the other perspective people are enjoying the retrosaurs just fine? It is not even hinted a bit that they did not not enjoy them besides that bit of exposition.

And our audience perspective character doesn't work. Gray and Zach seems to come from a middle-upper class family and yet they never visited the park for years despite having a family member as a high level staff? Knowing their son is obsessed with dinosaurs? And the only reason they were sent there was because it was an excuse to cover up their parent's divorce? In the case of Darius Bowman from CC it makes sense, but this is weird. It's kind of nitpicky, but okay my point is, what makes them ineffective is that they are new eyes to the park and Zach cannot represent "ahh ppl who already seen this many times get inspired to see the beauty of ugly 1993 retrosaurs" because he has never been there either. So its just weird to include their POV when it deosnt complement the Indominus narrative and if it does it feels forced and loose.

And its more bizarre when the movie seems to be more obsessed with showing "oh my god look at this capitalist paradise! John Hammond's gentrification deeam fulfilled!" and panning on random buildings and starbucks with the Jurassic Park theme. Besides "do you have dinosaurs in your dinosaur park" it just wooshes the anti-capitalist social commentary of JP, more crazy when its loads of product placement. I know that they did plan a panning shot with dinosaurs which would've been effective and narratively fitting rather than *pan to giant building* so idk why they even did that. And so idk if this movie wants to criticize capitalism and consumerism combined with the privatizing of the genetics could give way to ethical and environmental issues or do they want to say "god powers are allowed for capitalists if they are nice" (ahh and based on leaks for JWD, its the latter. They made John Hammond a messiah for protecting his unethical business from the 'bad capitalists' omg)

There's also the issue of 'authentic' dinosaurs (hence why I keep mentioning retrosaurs from the start 😂, i want to talk about this too). The scene with Wu and Masrani works, but ultimately the whole movie fails it. It is lifted from one of the few good scenes from the oroginal movel with Wu and Hammond, and concerns about how ALL dinosaurs from this park are genetic hybrids from the start. And well it would've worked well to explore the ethics and capitalism approach but honestly with the whole movie as comparison it just sounds like "guys this is the reason why they are not realistic and feathered please dont ask us about it again." The fact that they are hybridized retrosaurs get ignored and thrown under the rug besides that one scene, and we never again explore how unnatural all of them are as the movie time to time again keeps promoting a division between "legit" dinosaurs and Indominus, the character Lowery keeps pushing. And the latter... aslo shows how much they want to praise the first park and John Hammond despite it being a metaphor of capitalism failing from wanting to conquer nature, despite it being the exact same thing as modern JW. "They didnt need these hybrids they only had real dinosaurs" is already an errornous statement since all of them were frog hybrids, so if its wrong... what was the point of bringing it up? JP didn't just fail because Dennis Nedry sabotaged it, it was bound to fail for its attempt to control nature as Ian said. However JW attributes the singular creation of Indominus as the reason for its failure (and by attribute hoo boy how many plotholes did they engineer to pin it the blame. Suddenly it knows its being thermally monitored? Or does it just releases electromagnetic energy to make ppl around it dumb or jam cellphones, god im rambling), and if they continued making retrosaurs it would've been fine? So what was the message? "Its okay to mix dinosaur dna with frogs but don't add to much to the mixture"? "Its okay to play god with capitalism but dont go too far"? Instead of mentioning both concepts as unethical and the concept of Indominus as an already flawed concept pushed even more unethically, the increasing level of tolerance for playing god already shows a shift of morals from the JP and JW. So once again its 'capitalism is actually good, its just the evil ppl thats the problem'

It honestly just erases the brilliant potential of how that narrative could be engaged. Of course its obvious the park would want to promote their retrosaurs as legit and Indominus as a different flavor despite both being hybrids but the latter being pushed to the max, so both of them are bound to have intersecting problems. However not everyone would've been fooled by such promotion. And yet from our POV only Wu was aware of it; the view of them as retrosaurs is treated as an understatement to be ignored as we are only allowed to see things and agree with opinions from the POV of Lowery or the kids against Hoskins' cartoony "lets convince our president to use dinos to steal oil" idea.

It could've honestly touched on many aspects of de-extinction or concepts like the Chickenosaurus, as well as the complex moral dillema around many genetic issues, but the movie just wants to shy away from it and impose a black and white morality of "Indominus bad unnatural" and "retrosaurs good natural." Not unnesary military commentary that doesn't work (dinosaur's effect in the environment would be more devastating than them acting as military weapons so pro-US imperialists can be proud (one bullet will kill them, I swear yeah ik this is a 'scifi' franchise, but the logic hoops you need to jump from that. One raptor died from getting hit by a rocket launcher as they should. So what US wants to use these bags of flesh as weapons to steal oil? There is nothing they can do that dogs or dolphins can't do better). The only time its kinda shown is when Indominus is killing Apatosaurus for fun, but... real animals like humans, dolphins, chimps do that too. And the movie treats this as something unnatural or makes it evil. Scorpios rex despite being ugly actually accomplishes the ecological horror of having an invasive creature invade an ecosystem (despite the ecosystem itself alr being flawed and superficially created) and being able to reproduce through parthenogenesis). And I doubt they would touch on this in JWD despite the variance of animals they will show, as even Atrociraptor is not going to be called out by name in that film, that they can change its name in post production.

Lan and ian were knocked out by zan and yan by two cooking pans, handore decided to dress them in snow clothes and take them to fun with them, it was all part of her plan.

Han: Alright guys, you'll have a lot of fun with us soon.

Zan: I think so

Yan: He will be excited when we arrive!

Barley: I'll carry the two nerds on my back like two sacks of potatoes

Lan woke up little by little opening his eyes and saw that he was in the snow, he thought it was a dream but it was not a dream, then he looked everywhere in surprise and saw that Lan was wearing a snowsuit and ian was also wearing a snow suit. ian was still unconscious, Barley was carrying Ian and Ian like two sacks of potatoes, then Barley turned around and realized that Ian had woken up.

Barley: Oh apparently Lan woke up guys, maybe he's in a good mood to be with us!

Lan: Oh no… I want to go home right now!

Zan: Calm down, Party Pooper, much later we will go to your bat cave, we are almost in the fun zone.

Han: There are great friends waiting for us, we will do a lot of crazy things!

ian: Landore * waking up * where are we?

Lan: Welcome to the nightmare, it's good that you wake up.

Barley: Good thing the little wizard woke up!

ian: Oh no, don't tell me we got knocked out by them

Lan: Sure, but accept it, we give up, we'll have to ...

Then ian began to complain begging the others to take him home, but they said no, after a while the others reached their final destination, there were some nice friendly people waiting for them in a bridge.

ike: wow they came just in time!

ian: Wait a minute that voice sounds familiar to me, ikeshia?

ike: Oh ian I thought you weren't coming, plus I think you're in the mood for fun!

Ikeshia did not come alone, she brought company, along with her sister Nixine and with other relatives of the Swiftmoon family, of that family, there were 3 male elves with purple hair and mint green skin, there was one with purple eyes called Ruven Swiftmoon, there was another who with green eyes called Kindroth Swiftmoon, there was another with brown eyes called Adelion Swiftmoon, behind them another member of the family appeared, it was a girl with 7 years a little shy, she had coral colored hair like ikeshia and nixine, her eyes are yellow And she had two pigtails with pink bows. They all brought their clothes for the snow, also Ikeshia had two rabbit-shaped earmuffs to cover herself from the cold.

Ruven,Adelion,Kindroth: Wow,the lightfoots arrived just in time

Han: we came to break your skull!

Ruven: We'll see about it Handore, plus how he convinced the two nerds to join us. * Looking at the two nerds carrying like two sacks of potatoes *

Adelion: Barley you can get the two nerds off your back, I hate seeing them carry these two.

Barley lowers Lan and ian from his back delicately, also Lan was a little nervous he thought that the 3 brothers of ikeshia were going to kill them, but on the other hand ian knows how to play in the snow since he was little, but Lan was his first time in playing in the snow.

Barley: Lan are you shivering, are you cold or are you ... scared?

Lan: Scared no no no, I am too cold, because I should be scared I was never hmm ... scared never ever!* Shaking from fright or maybe from cold *

Barley: Guess this is your first time playing in the snow on solstice, come on Lan is that true?

Zan: Seriously Lan you don't know how to play in the snow,?!

Han: Come on Lan you don't have to be afraid, even if it's your first time playing in the snow.

Yan: We can teach you how to play in the snow, for example: Han, Zan, Barley and ian and me can teach you how to have fun!

ian: We can help you beat the 3 brothers of ikeshia, so you will be invincible and you will be a champion.

Lan: Well that's fine .. what do I have to do to learn?

ian collects snow on the ground and turns it into a snowball, then gives the snowball to Lan, ian explains how he throws snowballs.

Lan: throw it like that? * throws the ball boringly *

ian: Not like that, it's not done, do it with force.

Lan: Oh I understand.

While the swiftmoons were talking, then a snowball hit ruven and the ball was thrown by lan, causing ruven to throw a ball towards lan very hard, that's where the fun begins.

Lan: BALL! * Throws another ball towards ikeshia *

ike: Wow good aim Landore * brushing the snow off his face *

Lan: SNOWBALL! * Throws two balls at kindroth *

Kindroth: Snowball War!

The swiftmoons vs The lightfoots started a battle, snowball war, The lightfoota started creating lots of snowballs to attack them, both families started throwing snowballs, until Han stopped them.

Han: Wait guys we are missing something, is ... STRENGTHS! * Screaming * 

Lan, Yan, Zan, Barley, ian: STRENGTHS!

Ruven: STRENGTHS!

Kindroth, Adelion, Ike, Nixine,Symania(Symania is the name of the little girl): STRENGTHS!

Ruven: Let's see who makes the best fortress in the world!

Han: We'll see about that Ruven, our strength will be better than yours!

Han: Get together guys we have to make the best fortress very best and big!

Lan,Yan,ian,Barley: Understood Handore!

Zan: WAIT BEFORE YOU START WITH, YOU MUST CHOOSE THE BATTLEFIELD!

Ruven: How about there!* Points to Ruven towards a field of snow *

The guys were running fast towards the snowy field, the field is ideal for a great duel of snowballs.

Lan: Han don't you think there is something missing? We need something for the swiftmoons not cross our territory.

Han: Oh sure, but first we will make a line for none of you to cross!

Han grabbed a stick on the ground and put the stick in the snow and started running like a flash, making a big line until he reached a tree.

Lan: Woah what speed you have han!

Han: Thanks Lan, now let's start preparing for battle!

The lightfoots and The swiftmoons: Let's battle it!

The lightfoots began to build their fortress quickly and making it much better and bigger, Han saw Lan and ian having fun building the fortress, Han liked that both nerds had fun with them.

While with the swiftmoons, he was not going to do it with his hands he had a very fast way to make a better and great fortress, they did it very fast, Ruven whistled at the lightfoots to show them his snow fortress.

Ruven: Look and cry friends The best supreme snow fortress of the swiftmoons

The lightfoots: 

The others had no words to describe how big the SwiftMoons fortress was, it was the best fortress, it was very big, the others had questions about how they could finish so fast, until ian spoke

ian: HOW DID YOU DO IT SO FAST ?!

Ruven: One word: Magic

Han: WITH HELP FROM WHOM ?!

The 3 brothers looked and pointed at ikeshia, ikeshia shows them her magic necklace, she helped them with a bit of magic, she also had her necklace on, the lightfoots were shocked and surprised.

Han: So if she can do magic, so can we, Lan and ian his staffs! * Han snaps his fingers and two staffs fall from the sky *

Lan: Bro, how did you do that?

Han: Spell to teleport things, think of something you want it to be and it will appear falling from the sky, just  snaps the fingers and that's it.

Han: Now prepare the fortress and make it a thousand times cooler than me!

Lan, ian: Ok understood!

Lan and ian along with their staffs did their best to finish the fortress and fast, while the swiftmoon fortress prepared the snowballs to attack the lightfoot territory, but this time with magic.

Lan,ian: Done!

Han: Hey swiftmoon fortress!,admire the great supreme lightfoot fortress!

(imagine that those people are zan,yan,ian,Lan and barley)

ike: woah what a beautiful fortress, look great 👍!

ian: oh hehe thanks ike *blush*

Ruven:

Kindroth: It looks better but our fortress has statues, you are not within our reach.

Lan: Oh sure thank you kindroth, statues have been said!

Kindroth:Not proble-....wait why?!

Ruven: You really dumb, did you have to spit that out ?!

Kindroth:Sorry Brother :c

Lan made with his staff a lot of snow sculptures but,in owl shapes and wolves, unicorns

(I wanted to add those snow sculptures, they seemed really wonderful)

In addition, Lan made a snowman with his staff in the shape of an ian.

(Guys I dare you to make a snowman, but ian lightfoot version, also you don't have to make the nose, just give it a big carrot (like its big nose) then put it on and voila, an ian lightfoot snowman)

ian: Wow he looks like me, I like him he's my twin now, oh and the other sculptures look great.

Lan: We are welcome to come up with a plan, to attack the swiftmoon territory?

Han: Obviously yes and our plan to attack them will be very brilliant, but this time with magic!

ian: You don't think it's enough magic to make them hurt, I mean I don't want to be a spoilsport ruining the plan, it's more I prefer to stay with my snow twin, watching how you throw snowballs into enemy territory.

Han: Ok, you will be the secret weapon, when we run out of opportunities to attack enemy territory, that's where you come in ¿okay?

ian: Ok han :)

(Now a music to put this very interesting story)

The lightfoots entered his fortress to start creating snowballs that Barley brought with Zan and Yan, on the other hand they have brought binoculars to see the enemy territory up close, Lan prepared some spells to join them with the snowballs, while the 3 brothers from ikeshia were preparing to attack them with magic, ike was also with his little sister symania, making snowmen before starting the battle.

Han: I see you as a loser this time I will defeat you when I am the best, you will fall to shame, HAHAHA! * Evil laugh while watching ruven with his binoculars *

☆Meanwhile in swiftmoon territory☆

Ruven: Useless he won't know what awaits him, I bet I'll win and he'll lose, don't you think so nixine?

Nixine was not paying attention to his brother, Ruven, Nixine called him something, the attention was Han, she began to feel feelings towards him, however, she was like in love, but suddenly Ruven interrupted him from his fantasies.

Ruven: Nixine!,Nixine!,earth calling nixine!,Stop thinking about your crush!

Nixine: Yeah yeah whatever I'm just looking at the enemy

Ruven: You only look at him as in love,

Nixine: I hate that you dislike my first love, you are such a killjoy, every time I meet new people you always appear saying they are bad people.

Ruven: Sister I'm only doing it for your good, after that incident that happened a few years ago ...

Nixine: Please I don't want to remember it, it makes me feel weak every time you say it.

Ruven: We better not talk about it, let's just enjoy this.

✩Meanwhile in the lightfoot territory✩ 

ian: Rock paper or scissors!

ian was next to the rock-paper or scissors snowman, the others saw him strangely playing, with a snowman of himself.

Lan: The guy is weird apparently, but let's let him have fun while we are ready for battle.

Barley: It always happens every solstice, sometimes my little brother, he always played and chatted with snowmen that he always did, others thought him weird talking snowmen.

ian: Very well I will name you ian 2 twin!

Yan,Zan,Barley: This is too weird

Han: Lan could you tell me what time it is to start the battle?

Lan: It's barely noon at this time they are slow.

Han: It'll give us time to make more snowballs, how many snowballs do we have right now?

Lan: Since we started throwing snowballs we had few or more snowballs, but unfortunately we have 34 snowballs.

Zan: 34 snowballs left ?!

Yan: Impossible that we have spent so many snowballs!

Barley: Plus the enemy territory is doing it fast!

ian: it's because they do it with magic, don't you see?

ian pointed out where Ikeshia is multiplying snowballs, with her magic necklace, Symania linked the snowballs like a pyramid with Kindroth and Adelion helping her, Ikeshia said a spell called Multiply-Magnora, this spell made things multiply by two or three or more objects, ikeshia I learned it about 2 weeks, Han managed to hear the spell that said ikeshia.Handore looked for his binoculars as something caught his attention and it was Ikeshia doing magic.

ike: Multiply-Magnora!

Handore saw how ikeshia's eyes changed from purple to pink, then his magic hands were activated to later create a light, and that light was moving from one place to another, (an example my dear readers):

Then ikeshia enclosed the light in both of his hands, then ikeshia opened his hands and the light turned into a small bright yellow star, Han was shocked when he saw the magical act that ike did, Han began to memorize the details and movements that ikeshia did with the light, then ikeshia approached symania along with its luminous star, symania had a single snowball then ike released the star and the star floated towards the snowball and entered towards the ball, then the snowball moved creating lots of snowballs everywhere.

Ruven: How did sister come out?

Symania: The result was excellent!

Ruven: Great with that I can beat my enemy Han!

Han: Haha, do you think Ruven? I already found out about your magic secret that you have, I have to tell the others!

While with others

ian: Since then I was always so cowardly to face unicorns.

Zan: Wait apparently ian 2 wants to tell me something * Approaches the doll * Aha oh what an interesting fact.

Yan: What did him tell you?

Zan: He said that when the action starte

Barley: It will start when Handore says the orders to attack.

Han: Gentlemen, I have something to tell you that will surprise you!

Lan: Let's see, tell me today's gossip.

Zan: Did you see the disturber *Just kidding*

Han: It's more than that!

Yan: Bro already tell us what you say kills me with doubts!

hey, i'm thinking about watching some classic who episodes for the first time, ik u can really start from anywhere but where do u recommend i begin with those seasons (esp cuz there's so many lol)?

it really depends on what you want and what made you want to watch it!! are you excited to meet a particular character or see a certain storyline? do you want to just get an overall feel of the classic doctors?

that being said, there are great episodes from every season and every era so here are some recs! (in vague chronological order and under the cut cos it’s so long)

an unearthly child is the first ever story of doctor who!! you don’t learn much about the doctor and the pacing is rough, but you do meet companions susan, barbara, and ian in a fun, lowstakes story

the daleks is a better first impression for the first doctor and an introduction to the daleks themselves (+a really cool setting like seriously what they did with all sets and props was amazing)

the war machines is a really important episode for the doctor’s overall character development, and it’s just a fun one

the macra terror is a great story, a great serial to get an impression of the second doctor, just a super fun one 

evil of the daleks.. oh man this is also an important one in terms of doctor’s character development in that he makes a Big mistake, promises not to do it again, and in later seasons (esp in new who) he starts making similar mistakes... thinking emoji... also just a great one for character stuff and a smashing story

the war games is super important for backstory stuff. it’s the story that establishes the time lords!! and it’s just a well written well paced plot with cleverly written and acted emotional aspects

inferno!!!! ughguhgh i love inferno so much it’s my favourite third doctor story i think. totally perfect characterization for him if you want to get to know him along with a smart environmentalist plot and the absolute delight of the doctor going to a parallel universe where all his friends are evil

colony in space is really sweet and has a lot of great moments between the third doctor and his companion jo, plus a solid plot and the master is fun in it

genesis of the daleks is probably on everyone’s classic who recs list but like. it deserves it... this story has amazing characterization for the fourth doctor that turns out to be one of the factors that shapes the doctor in new who + good dalek content. one of the few dalek stories that isn’t super dull

horror of fang rock is a really fun lighthouse murder mystery with aliens just really good fun tbh that’s all there is to it. it’s a super enjoyable one just because of the setting and also leela is terrific in it

city of death!! is peak douglas adams silly sci fi weirdness. best characterization for the fourth doctor plus great location filming plus a really fun bouncy vibe plus romana who is soooo cute

logopolis/keeper of traken/castrovalva- ok so this one is actually three stories but they’re all part of one arc and it’s jsut really fabulous in my opinion. a lot of brilliant sci fi worldbuilding and a really good regen from 4 into 5. sooo good though

earthshock is pretty important to watch just because it’s a really important moment in the doctor’s life, and also because it has some great characterization for the fifth doctor that lays the groundwork for the tenth doctor’s schtick later. 

enlightenment is pretty brilliant and has some really interesting character moments for turlough, but you’d be missing plot stuff if you didn’t also watch mawdryn undead and terminus

i’m hesitant to do this but i’m also going to recommend trial of a timelord. this is a season-long arc with fourteen episodes, some of which are admittedly hit or miss, but it’s an excellent dissection of the sixth doctor’s character and a really interesting deep dive into gallifreyan bullshit politics

the happiness patrol is full of allegory and distopian political commentary but contrasted with the most batshit villain concept you’ve ever seen. honestly it’s so much fun and a good example of the seventh doctor and ace’s relationship

ghost light... i’m also hesitant to recommend this one but if you like evil of the daleks this is a story with sort of similar stuff going on - an old victorian house, the doctor lying to a companion and breaking their trust - just fun stuff like that. it’s also a great great character development one for ace

survival is kinda silly and there’s furries in it but it’s the last story of classic who and it’s fun.. good content from the master, the doctor, and ace, and honestly a sweet send off for the show

first of all, can we please talk about the context of the entire scene???? bc that spooning moment? sent straight from god himself just to satisfy me. they both look so soft and cuddly and comfy and ian burying his nose in the nape of mickey’s neck was the perfect call back to ian’s “i like how he smells” comment from s4. (i’m willing to bet a lot of money that that moment in particular was cam’s doing tbh)

then just. the kiss itself. Ugh. every single thing about it is perfect, all their physical actions and the details are so great. the upside down kiss is always a Great touch but the way they cling to each other and the way mickey leans up into the kiss is so!!!!!!!!!! and don’t even get me started on ian replacing his mouth with the cigarette or mickey’s blissed out smile. honestly there’s just something so flirty but also, long-term-established-relationship about the kiss and i don’t have the words to do describing it justice. it just hits all the right buttons!!!

but i think mainly, i love it so much bc it’s so understated? it’s not the desperate reunion kiss at the docks, it’s not the momentous club kiss, it’s not the goodbye kiss at the border, it’s not their first kiss in the van. it’s just…a “see you later” kind of kiss? like i honestly think that was their first “casual” kiss they ever shared on screen. (but i do think the 5x11 kiss at the dugouts sort of has a similar vibe)even though, obviously it was still v passionate but what i mean is that this scene wouldn’t have been out of place in s10 (or during married life in s11). it could just as easily be ian kissing mickey goodbye in their bedroom when he has to go to work but neither of them wants him to leave, y’know??????? idk, more so than the other Big Deal kisses they’d had previously this just felt very familiar and comfortable and sure

so here’s my thoughts on this show lol

Ok so overall it’s a full 10/10 it’s fucking insane. Usually i’m not someone that’s into sci-fi (?) movies or shows, even though when I actually watch them, I really like them so I should probably stop doing that

The Plot:

I love this plot bc even if it’s fake in some aspects, I can totally see this game/the contact lenses being a thing in the near future. I love Hyunbin’s character, Jinwoo so fucking much wow. This poor dude is given nothing but shitty, difficult situations but he still deals with them and overcomes them no matter what. Why? bc Jinwoo ain’t no bitch!! Yeah it’s hard to level up, yeah everyone think’s he’s going crazy and he knows that, yeah he see’s Hyungseok every single day of this life, yeah he slowly gets addicted to drugs and alcohol, yeah he’s trying his hardest to find Sejoo, yeah he hurt his leg and has to use a cane to walk now; but he’s doing it. Through all the shit piled up on his shoulders, he’s still pushing through. He refuses to give up, not because he can’t, but because he knows he won’t be able to live with himself if he doesn’t finish what he started. Also I know a lot of people weren’t happy with Heejoo as a character because she cried a lot but honestly the way I see it is, even though Heejoo & Jinwoo start to develop some kind of relationship, she is still living her life and he’s living his. Heejoo is still taking care of her family and running the guitar workshop, Jinwoo is still dealing with trying to find Sejoo in the game and all the personal shit he has going on. They’re both still their own people. She cries because she’s worried. Worried about her brother that’s been MIA for a year, worried for her family, and worried for Jinwoo because she’s just trying to understand what he’s been dealing with every day of his life. And people were upset her character never went into the game and became this badass, beat-everyone-up-girl, well that’s because even when she found out about the game and what the lenses do, that wasn’t her. She isn’t a gamer, she isn’t someone who’s gonna go head first into this game and try and find her brother. Jinwoo is the perfect example, it took him a year to get where he was and at that point he still wasn’t very close to finding Sejoo, so what did you really think Heejoo joining the game would do?

Jinwoo & Heejoo’s relationship:

No lie I love their relationship. I’m totally someone that loves romance and to see the two leads fall in love, and be cute and clingy but with them, their slowly progressing relationship felt the most real. Ever since their first meeting you can see that when they meet again and again, they slowly start to care for each other more and more. And at first it can be seen as a friendly thing, but I think the moment that all changes is when Jinwoo leaves Granada on Heejoo’s birthday. He runs away because he’s scared then he see’s her running after his train, crying, and he knows at that moment that he feels something for her because she’s the first woman to every cry for him because he wasn’t there. And Heejoo as well, she didn’t have to leave her birthday party to run after him, but she did because she hated the thought of her not saying goodbye to Jinwoo. I loved that their relationship wasn’t rushed especially with the kisses. In all of the 16 episodes, they kiss twice, and for me that was all I needed as a viewer because in those two moments you can see how much they really care about one another. I actually really liked that their ‘romance’ wasn’t the main plot point of this series even though that was one of the reasons I initially watched it. I liked how they never really said that they were together or not and I think that was very relatable. Cause watching it you can clearly see that they slowly start to mean something to each other but it’s also never quite the right time for them to be like “ok what are we seriously” even when Jinwoo & Heejoo have that conversation about “are you my girlfriend or what? I don’t remember proposing to you by any chance?,, // i can be your girlfriend what’s so hard about it?” it’s kinda taken lightly and not as ‘we’re a thing now’. Also the age gap didn’t bother me at all, they looked at each other like you look at anyone you have love for so I thought they were really cute together.

The Ending:

Ok, i’ll admit that I wanted nothing more than for Jinwoo to get the happy ending he deserved but also, did you watch the show? Nothing good in all the 16 episodes has happened to Jinwoo (besides Heejoo) so why would the ending be different? I think that would’ve thrown the show off more tbh. I mean think about it, he’s literally dealing with so much shit through the whole series but that’s magically supposed to change? Even if the ending was different, the game is still programmed into his brain isn’t it? The cops are still looking for him aren’t they? In no way was he gonna get the storybook happy ending even if that’s what he deserved. Honestly it reminded me a bit of Shameless when Mickey escapes jail & is on the run, i’m just glad Heejoo wasn’t the Ian character & gave Jinwoo false hope only to be shattered (can you tell i’m still not over Ian doing that to Mickey lol). Anyways let’s start with Jinwoo not ringing the doorbell & letting Heejoo know he’s safe. To be honest, I understand why he did it. Jinwoo clearly loves cares for Heejoo and he wants to see her and let her know he’s safe but also, he doesn’t want to rope her into all his shit. Even if he rings the bell he knows the cops are still after him so why should he drag Heejoo through that? and her family through that? For Jinwoo, it’s better that she doesn’t know what happens to him and just leave bc she’s already knows what its like to lose him. He doesn’t want to hurt her but he knows this is the best way to deal with the situation. And Ik this might be a shitty excuse but he told Heejoo twice not to put her trust in him and that she might end up hating him one day. Now, with Jinwoo being stuck (?) in the dungeon, it makes sense and it doesn’t. Why would he willingly want to trap himself in the game if he knows how difficult it was to get Sejoo out? but on another hand why wouldn’t he? Maybe he thinks that after everything he’s done in the game, and everything going on in real life, he deserves to be in there or wants to be in there. Maybe for him it’s the only way he wants to keep living or to wait for someone to get him out. I hate that Junghoon had to get killed as a bug and clearly It was really hard for Jinwoo to do it but also I think Jinwoo knows that Junghoon shouldn’t be stuck in the game as his ‘saving grace’ and that he should be put the rest the right way.The Yura wedding scene was so unnecessary and I really don’t know why it was even in the final cut like?? Idk maybe there will be a season 2 that answers all the questions and maybe there won’t. Either way I really enjoyed this show, I was hooked straight from ep1 and overall I’m glad I watched it.

• So they've found something- an alien I'm assuming- why do humans always tamper with things we shouldn't

• I hate how classic who drags on so slowly

• Okay get to the killing already

• YES FINALLY HELLO DOCTOR

• Wow I forget they must have their own rooms in the Tardis

• Lots of books in Adrics room

• "why should that interest me" ooh okay Adric getting a bit sassy

• Why's he fed up

• looool "I'm tired of being considered a joke" "why am I being constantly teased" maybe because you're annoying and you make sexist remarks?

• The doctor don't have time to deal with this

• aww okay Adric being jealous that Nyssa and Tegan get more attention from the doctor than him is kinda cute

• 'I give you my word' 'just as you gave your word to Tegan" okaaaaay go off (spoiler alert) ik Adric dies in this because I saw a spoiler so this is very sad foreshadowing that the doctor will break his word to Adric about making time for him- kinda sad

• Doctor can't take criticism which is interesting because the last time he was probably ever blamed for something was One with Barbara and Ian. I don't remember any companion ever criticizing him like this before

• "I'm tired of being an outsider" this would make sense if we had seen him being an outsider before - in my opinion Tegan is the outsider as she's new and not as mathematically advanced as the others. also I would say that Adric is the closest to the doctor out of all 3 so his point isn't really valid

• Ah the Cybermen coming out of plastic Wrap is a throwback to the 2nd Doctor Cybermen story

• Tegan looks like a badass with the gun

• So they're destroying the leaders of various planets before they destroy the Cybermen

• Tegan has no idea what she's doing

• I love how Five says the most savage lines with the most polite tone

• He could tear you down and look like he's complimenting you

• Tegan has been caught

• Cyberman in the Tardis is weird

• 'who is this woman' - 'no-one of consequence' - 'thanks a lot - gotta love Tegan

• Okay wow that scene between the doctor and the Cyberman about emotions gave me goose bumps what a thrilling scene

• The Cybermen has a point- he can control the doctor because he has emotions

• I'll never get tired of the debate about emotions between them because it genuinely feels like the Cyberman defend the concept of having no emotions to defend their existence

• Five looks hot when he's defending emotions

• Fuck they need to leave Adric behind

• Shit I'm getting nervous

• His theme is playing!

• The Doctor looks conflicted

• Adric leaving his hand out after the doctor let go...

• "I'll see you soon" this is the actors best performance because you can see in his eyes he knows he won't

• The Doctor has never had a companion die before so he walks away without looking back

• Adric is plotting

• The Cybermen say they have no emotions but forcing Tegan watch her own planet getting destroyed is extremely sadistic

• Clever Adric

• The Earth looks different

• Okay so Adric's cleverness is what gets him killed because he knows he can crack the code

• The Dinosaurs! I knew it!

• Oh crap Earth is safe but Adric doesn't know that

• I think this comes down to Adric wanting the doctors attention and wanting to be the best to have his attention

• The Doctor has his pin!

• Five suffocating and shooting a Cyberman is shocking to see

• Adric whyyyyyy

• This Cyberman walking towards him is bloody persistent

• "Now I'll never know if i was right" such Adric last words

• Id like to believe he was

• Damn.

• The Doctors face. The fact that it could have been avoided if he just left the ship

• Adric is the first companion that died on the Doctor's watch

• Adric died thinking the Earth was going to be destroyed and he could have stopped it

• The credits!! his gold star! the silence! this must have been a shock to the viewers. If i didn't know beforehand through spoilers I would be going crazy

• Earthshock had it's ups and downs, the downs in regards to the pace of the plot however the story was good and the Cybermen were fantastic especially their interactions against the doctor. Tegan and Adric were great. Nyssa didn't really have much to do. Davison was amazing. I liked the writing.

• Also I liked the structural shift of the story to the cave androids to the bomb to the spaceship to dealing with The Cybermen to saving Earth and then to Adrics death
